it just like Actually hit me how much satoshi’s kalos companions really don’t know jack shit about him outside kalos.     the other regions with new travel pals either had takeshi as a connection to his previous travels, or met his other previous travel pals   ---   hikari met haruka, iris & dent got to meet hikari, albeit not Travel pals alola squad met takeshi, kasumi, & haruka   ---   or met other people from previous regions that satoshi’s befriended, like shirona or ibuki.     unless i’m forgetting something, kalos squad’s only connections to satoshi outside kalos were pansy, the rocket gang, & the one facetime with ookido & hanako.     &, well, pikachu, kinda.     satoshi says an indirect throwaway line about hikari’s pochama & that’s about as much as we get out of him personally.     an argument can be made that serena’s a connection to satoshi outside kalos, but she only knew him for as long as they were both at the pokemon camp, which wasn’t very long, not to mention years before he started journeying.     so they like really fuckin’ don’t know shit about him, huh.

Hikari smiled and sat down on a leaf, listening to the song. Soon the bread and butterflies pulled her along to the pansies to sing too. She felt a little nervous and tried her best.

“You can weawn a wot of things fwom the fowas. Especiawwy in the month of June.” She tried to sing a high note, but her voice cracked a little. She blushed and covered her mouth.

Seeing how Hikari was trying to sing with the flowers, they finish the song for her as they used a few flowers as a set of cymbals.

“Wasn’t that wonderful?” The Red Rose asked to Hikari. “Now, what kind of garden do you come from?”

Hikari was chasing a little white rabbit across a field when it jumped into a hole. “Mistew bunny! Come back!” She looked down the hole to see where it went, but she leaned too close and fell in. “Nyaaah!”

The White Rabbit in a waistcoat was hopping along the stepping stones in the water, until he took a look at his pocket watch. "Oh my fur and whiskers! I'm late! I'm late! I'm late!" He shouted running away from Hikari.

"I'm late! I'm late! For a very important date! No time to say "hello, goodbye". I'm late, I'm late, I'm late!" The White Rabbit spoke running into the burrow which led to a small tunnel of another world. He then goes through a door.
