Opalaventure Hi Ropes Course Fun - Le Touquet

Opalaventure

The Opalaventure Hi Ropes course is a fun place to get close to nature. Located in a 7-hectares  of forest surrounded by sand dunes and only 400 meters away from the Camiers Sainte-Cécile beach. Neither tree climbing, nor trekking! Safely surf or bike from tree to tree across the forest in the heart of the countryside. The adventure park brings together lovers of extreme sports in the trees. High in the pines experience many different courses. Take a  daunting bike ride across a massive gap! not for the feint hearted but brilliant fun. There is even a baby course, just the right level for 3 year old’s. Slides, tunnels, zip wire and somewhere to sit for parents. Which ever course you chose safety is there number one concern.

The Rope Courses

Toddlers Course

A course with 20 sections at ground level. This course is designed to enable children under 5 to explore treetop courses and be part of the same experience there parents or siblings take part in.

Children’s Course

2 courses designed for children from 5 to 8 years old. The children are attached  by a continuous  line which ensures their safety during the course. There is a small zip line on this activity. The children are supervised by  Opalaventure staff. Parents can support and take take pictures from the trail below.

Discovery Course

This course has three levels and is available for 9 year old’s and upwards. It’s the best way to have fun with your family. The sections are suitable for both children and adults. A perfect course for an unforgettable family day out!

Adult Course

The adult course consists of five courses each progressively harder. Each course is separate and  you can stop at the end of every trail. Do them all or just the ones you feel comfortable with.

Directions

From Le Touquet (10 minutes) : direction Camiers Sainte-Cecile first street on your left after the Canadian cemetery.

From Boulogne sur Mer : direction Le Touquet, first street on your right after the Camiers Sainte-Cecile round about.

From Calais (40min) : A16 direction Paris, exit 27 (Hardelot, Sainte-Cécile).

From Abbeville (40min): A16 direction Calais, exit 27.

From Amiens : (60min) : A16 direction Calais, exit 27.

Tensai Gunshi Radio - Some Info

I’m finally getting some subbed clips of Tensai Gunshi out and I thought I’ll summarize info about this radio series. Unlike DGS and SRO, where I’m mostly just subbing their free talk and some straight-forward segments, Tensai Gunshi is slightly more ‘themed’ and has certain ‘terminology’. So here goes:

Overall premise: The theme of the radio, i.e. whatever they say at the beginning of the show (which I don’t sub), is Yasumoto and Hosoya taking steps to make the (seiyuu) industry more interesting as newbie producers. The goal is to eventually produce events on their own, and they try to up their skills by challenging various tasks and testing out ideas in this radio show. E.g. They have played with harisens (giant paper fans), tried various awful foods (and good foods), Hosoya tried cooking for Yasumoto for his bdae, Yasumoto cross-dressed for Hosoya for his bdae etc

Greetings: Ohayou gozaimasu (Morning!) and Otsukare-chan (Good work today!) --> these are common greetings in the industry so even though their radio is at night, they use ‘Good morning’ since most seiyuus start work at 10am or so

Names: Listeners are known as ‘AD’ (assistant director, see this reddit post on the hierarchy of radio staff). Guests are known as ‘AP’ (assistant producer). Hosoya and Yasumoto are known as ‘YoshiP’ and ‘HiroP’ respectively, P stands for ‘Producer’. After Inoue Kikuko came as guest, they got additional nicknames: ‘Preppi’ and ‘Zabun’ respectively (idk why, i’ll have to relisten to the episode lol). 

Running gag: Because Seto Asami came so often as guests, she’s almost like a ‘regular’. She is well liked by the two hosts because 1) she is a direct junior of Yasumoto (also Sigma7); 2) she is frank about her opinions (esp towards Hosoya, to which Yasumoto has good laughs over)

Segments: 

Their ‘Futsuota’ aka ‘Listener’s Corner’ is called ‘Shichousha no koe wo kike! BYO no Corner’. BYO is an acronym of a rather long term, so long that the hosts stopped explaining it lol. 

‘Hanposaki wo ike! Tsugi kuru Research!’ - In this segment, they ‘research’ on potential things that could be the next boom. That includes locations, places of interest etc.

‘Hosouchi Jakuchou Ai no Kakekomitera!’ - TL as ‘Hosoya listens, refuge for love’: one of my favourite segments, Hosoya the ever nosey love-story-lover gives advice to girls who are having love troubles. Some are actually outrageous, to which Hosoya reacts with blatant frustration and that’s always fun to hear lol. Hosoya is known as ‘Jakuchou’-san in this segment. At the end, he repeats the word ‘Jakuchou’ as a stamp of completion.

‘Yasumudou no Katayaburi renaidou’ - TL as ‘Yasumudou’s unconventional path to love’: Mudou means immoral, but here it’s mostly a wordplay for Yasumoto, and also because they touch on more nsfw stuff like sex (Yes they talk about sex in this radio show guys!). Similar to Hosoya’s segment, Yasumoto listens to love problems from guys and gives his advice. It’s interesting because the two hosts have quite different personalities so naturally their advice differs as well. Yasumoto is known as ‘Mudou’-san in this segment. 

‘Tokubetsu Kikaku (Guest)-san ni iroiro shitsumon shi you!’ - Quite straightforward, the hosts developed a set of questions in one episode to ask every time a guest comes in.

There are other segments like learning certain industry terminology, or doing certain menial tasks but I don’t sub those segments much, so skipping over those ._.

If you want to listen to Tensai Gunshi live, they are on agqr.jp every Sunday 1130pm (JP time)~ They also have a blog here, you can check out some (lowq but better than nothing) pictures taken during the show. 

Like most radio shows, you get to hear more personal sides to the seiyuus. With Hosoya and Yasumoto, you get to hear quite a lot about their love lives, their heartbreaks and their opinions on certain topics. It’s just entertaining to hear Hosoya complaining he wants to get a gf, get married etc in earlier episodes, and then later on he ‘grew up’ and says he’s over that phase. But both of them still laments on the fact they are getting old xD
