long time no post!

i'm FINALLY moved! though i'm still getting settled and trying to figure out where things go, it's so so nice to be in a nice; quiet space (and working out of a little closet office from time to time is so much fun omg)

things will be slow. please be aware of that. i go back to work next month, so the first few weeks are going to be chaos (if you're new here, i work on a college campus (specifically in residence life) for context). i also haven't played botw/totk like i've wanted to this summer due to moving and other stress inducing factors. but i really want to change that. i miss my fishy folk :')

on another note!!!

i've decided to try a new name!! i've always felt the name benjamin (ben for short) has suited me well. it's not really new to me, as i've gone by it a bit in the past, but i started thinking about it again a few months ago and really like it.

i've gone by llison (or lis) for quite some time. if you're used to that and still refer to me as that from time to time, that's totally fine. i know it can be hard to make big changes like that. and also, i may revery back to it. we'll see.

anyway, it's good to post again! i'll be trying my hardest to work on some pieces. for now, my request box is still closed. so in the meantime, feel free to check out older pieces or think of requests to send when i'm able to open those back up!

thank you all for your patience. this summer has been difficult to navigate for a multitude of reasons, and i hope to never have to deal with this much stress and burnout again.

"yeah. it's been one hell of a ride." losing mimi had been a very painful start to the new year, then they'd had that scare with collins, and it felt like things just snowballed from there. the one bright side was that mark had managed to get his documentary out, but it'd taken him far from home numerous times for festivals and meetings. he had never been so glad to be home in the drafty ass loft with roger.

People recognizing Aaron is never a good thing. It's usually followed by either shouting or a fight, and he doesn't have the patience for either, right now.

So when he turns to face the newcomer, he's ready for anything. Almost anything. Definitely not the cop who had showed up at their old house because if nosy neighbors.

He'd learned his lesson since then, moved them to a street where the houses were much farther apart and nobody cared.

A smile stretches his lips, a fake thing to appease the other man, and he nods. "Officer. Can I help you?"
