how would you feel? if someone killed your family?

Cream paused, her hand frozen over the flower that she had just plucked from the ground, planning to add to the flower crown she was crafting when the question was asked to her... Her brown eyes slowly shifted towards his direction and on him.

Her expression was unreadable besides a small frown on her muzzle.

How would she feel? Didn’t she come close already to losing them? A feeling that stuck to her like sludge and made her feel queasy… A feeling that gripped her throat and threatened to choke her.

She hated that feeling.

“..... I… Wouldn’t know… I don’t really think about those things.” The rabbit spoke softly; her eyes shifting away from Mephiles. 

“I know I don’t like it… I already felt what it’s like to nearly lose my mom, Cheese and Chocola… As well when Gemerl got hurt… But for them to be gone forever…” Her voice trailed off; dropping the flower crown against the grass below them.

“I don’t think I would be able to handle it…”
