I've learned alot of artistic techniques through creating this comic. I'm hoping to partly use this scene to work on my sharp lighting. Lili's treehouse in the previous chapter had soft lighting. Here, the lighting is much sharper.

Here’s an odd post but I am a language student and Irish so here’s what I’d name ER characters with respect to the game’s Celtic inspiration in world & design. (With my notes and rambling.)

"Margit" - "Cairbre" (Chariot Rider - Irish)

> Not for the meaning, but this was an incredibly common name in medieval Ireland. Given Morgott's incredible skill in coming up with an alias (Morgott/Margit??,) I thought it would be appropriate for him to say the equivalent of "er... John."

Morgott - Aimhirghin (Born of Song - Irish)

Mohg - Ainbheartach (Roughly ‘Evil Deed’ - Irish)

> I wanted Morgott & Mohg's names to still be 'matching,' but to have opposite meanings. Aimhirghin, in the more literal sense, translates to 'wonderous birth,' whereas Ainbheartach is more along the lines of "ill-doer" in a literal translation, although it doesn't exactly pan out to English.

Malenia - Lasairíonait (Pure flame - Irish)

Miquella - Laoidheach (Poetic - Irish)

> Giving Miquella a Christian name of Spanish origin reads so badly to me (I don't really care for scrutinizing if it's feminine or masculine.) I also do NOT believe in naming all of them with the initials of George R. R. Martin. Malenia's name is slightly ironic given her affliction / rot.

I understand that it's a 'tradition' of the Golden Lineage, but I think it would've been more appropriate to instead have the prefix 'Sul' passed down (Sun) especially given the conflict between the Golden Order and the Carians who are heavily associated with the moon.

> The name Rhiannon is derived from a goddess / figure in Welsh mythology who is associated with the moon, and was known in Welsh folklore for being enticing yet unreachable, which could be associated with Ranni's Age of Stars ending (where she leaves the world without gods for 1000 years.) Rykard's is very on-the-nose, as is Radahn's.

: "Technically, you'd be Zhu Bajie, now that you're on the ."

Pigsy: "Oh ho ho, no, no, no. Don't go comparing me to that demon. My name's just plain old Pigsy."

: "I can't wait to meet my ancestor, . I bet he was mega cool! Right, Tangy?"

Tang: (He laughs nervously.) "Well..."

: "I wonder when we're gonna meet my ancestor."

Mei: "I thought was your dad."

MK: "He's not my dad. Pigsy's my dad."

Pigsy: "Uh, kid, I'm not exactly your uh..."

Tang: "Hmm, Mei does have a point. MK, the rest of us mysteriously inherited the powers of the . However, Monkey King is the only original companion we know for sure is still alive. And yet, you have inherited all of his , so it is possible that—"

MK: "Yeah, right. If Monkey King really was my dad, don't you think he would have said something by now?"

Mei: "Yeah, 'cause he's normally sooo forthcoming with information."

MK: "Well, whatever. When we find Monkey King's stone, then we'll just ask him."

Tang: (Simultaneously.) "What?"

Mei: (Simultaneously.) "Monkey King's huh"

MK: "Monkey King's stone. The one he was born from. Ever since I got into the , I've been having visions of Monkey King standing next to his stone."

Pigsy: Wha... You didn't think to mention that sooner?!

MK: I'm telling you no-

MK was abruptly cut off from what he was saying to his friends as a gust of wind wooshed in the middle of the dear friends. There stood a woman who looked the size of Mei but slightly shorter. She also looked confused as to where she teleported and slowly turned around and saw...MK. As she teleported non-stop, desperately trying to find someone, she noticed that the place she had landed had pigs and a big blue guy who seemed all too familiar. She wasn't even trying to specifically look for MK at the time, as she was trying to find the two people she loved most. She was actually trying to see if the Monk was there (for help), but saw MK first.

Her eyes widen as they slowly lit up with excitment. She zoomed past the 4 friends as she embraced him with a big tight and loving hug. Annd not gonna lie MK was very confused as well as his other friends. But he didnt push the woman away though..or hug back either because he didnt know as to who this woman can be or how she knew him. He just looked at the woman confused and like....[ill just show it. like this eccept hes not smoling just looking down at her]

"I've missed you so much Ming! And you got so big!" [Ming: Bright] [Heulyn: Ray of Sunshine]

[All excluding MK]"MING???!"

The woman stops hugging Mk as her eyes glance at the 4 friends(im including the cat too so dats y). "I almost forgot you guys were here" she sweatdropped. "And yes, Ming. That's his name. Ming Heulyn" she said as she broke the hug.

Pigsy: "Woah woah woah. You mean to tell me that his name is Ming Heulyn?? No no no no, his name's MK, you know, 'Monkey Kid.' And who even are you supposed to be anyway? Some girl who who what? Who's in love with him or something??"

The woman let out a laugh at his outburst. "No, no this is my baby"

[All Including MK] "BABY??!!"

"Oh- I'm sorry. I mean baby as in son?"

[All ] "SON??!!" they all exclaimed. Mei let out a breath of relief she didn't know she was holding in.

MK: "WAIT-"

Tang: "MK IS YOUR SON?!" Tang exclaimed and got a nod and a soft smile in response. "That's amazing! *nudges Pigsy* Right Pigsy?" Sandy smiled and said wholeheartedly. "That means you're...[eyes sparkle] My mom"

"Yes sweetheart"

MK was in a daze hearing her call him that and that he actually had a mom. Pigsy huffed as he crossed his arms slightly looking away. "Why show up now? Why did you even leave him in the first place? He's been just fine without you"

"Now Pigsy, I'm sure there's a good explanation for this situation. No need to be so rude to..to um.. what's your name again?" Tang asked nervously sweatdropping because he thought it was rude to not know your name. "My name is Y/n"

[N/N - Ai: love, estimation]

Tang: "Miss Y/n. What a lovely name for such an elegant lady."

"Please, don't be so formal. Just say Y/n" She reassured. "And I never left Ming, i just came back and he wasn't there. [frowns]And I've been looking for him for ages and i couldn't find him...[smiles again] But I finally found him and I'm never letting him out of my site ever again"

MK snapped out of his daze with a serious look "You said you been looking for me?" And he got a nod in response. "So that must mean MK was taken from her then..." Mei added. Tang nodded in speculation as he pushed up his glasses. "But who would want to take him away from his own family though?" Pigsy added, a little upset someone would do such a thing.

"You know...you four remind me of people I used to know but...you're not them. You just look really identical" Y/n mentioned. "If you mean our ancient ancestors then, yes. But rest assured we are not them" Tang replied.

"And far from it" Pigsy added.

Y/n chuckled. "Dont worry, I could tell from the moment I saw you." "Was it that easy to tell??!" Mei asked astounded as y/n nodded.

"We were just talking about being able to meet our ancestors until you showed up" Sandy mentioned. "Really?"

Tang nodded "Yeah, and we were wondering if MK had any ancestors"

Me: "He also said Monkey King wasn't his dad even though it was clearly obvious. I mean, he has all of the traits Monkey King does" As Mei went on and on about how similar MK and Monkey King were Y/n zoned out at the name and more as she spoke. "I mean come it's clear that the Monkey King is MK's dad" She stood proudly with her hands on her hips but there was silence so she opened her eyes only to see her friends looking at Y/n with confused looks. "Arrrree you okay?" MK asked with a finger on his mouth. "You're dad...Where is he exactly?"

"She does not seem happy to hear his name" Tang whispered to Pigsy and Sandy and they both nodded. . . . "Wait, did you just say dad??/DAD?!"

MK started as he rubbed the back of his neck "Weeeee-" "-dont exactly know where he is.....right now" Mei finished also sweatdropping putting her fingers together repeatedly. "Did he even tell you guys anything??" Y/n asked the friends and her son but was only met with them shaking their heads in sync. "He's so forthcoming with information," Y/n said as she rolled her eyes. "That's exactly what I said!" Mei exclaimed.

"By the way, MK says he's been havin' visions of the Monkey King standing next to this stone he was supposedly born from after he got hold of the scroll. Do you know anything about this?" Pigsy asked Y/n.

"Vision?"

"Yeah, like, visions of his past...things like that" MK replied. "Hmm...I only know a little bit of why it's happening... but not all of it. Your dad will have to tell you the rest"

"Could you tell me what you know? [puppy eyes] Pleeeasee"

"Finee. Wukong is tearing through his past memories to get to you...he must have sensed that I'm here now and is making a very destructive way of getting to us hm?" Y/n chuckled. "But Since he's going through his memories he can't find his way out. [boops his nose] I think he needs you to help him with a little encouragement" MK nodded confidently.

Hi so I got a a commission done by this artist I found on twitter named Eef, and she did a great job on my High Elf Bard :)

So this is Heulyn Fisyr, elf bard who has been traveling for around 30-40 years while exploring and playing music. She has a violin hand-made by her father Llew, a half-flute she got also from her father (just not hand-made), and a small trumpet she found at a market while traveling. Her rapier was commissioned by her mother, Blodwen for when Heulyn decided to leave home to explore the world. 

She grew up as Lafera, and was raised with her parents outside of any elven communities, her parents were from 2 different elven races (Llew is a sun elf and Blodwen is a moon elf), so when they fell in love their communities and families did not approve. Heulyn’s mother taught her how to fight, and schooled her in writing, math and history. Her father taught her about music and how to play instruments, he was a lot more easy going that Blodwen but still took time to teach Heulyn about art, literature and the small amount of science he knew about.

When she reached maturity at 52, Lafera chose the name Heulyn with means “ray of sunshine”, which was the nickname her father gave her when she was born. Soon after that, Heulyn wanted to leave home and travel, and left with the gifts her parents gave her to travel and play music. Eventually over the years, word got around about the elf bard with hair like moonbeams and eyes like the sun, who could play the most beautiful music :)

15. describe each character's daily outfit

omg tbh i haven't thought that much about outfits other than Moss's, so you've saved me from floundering there :'^)

Moss generally wears a loose wool tunic with a chequered gold & blue pattern, some extremely scruffy trousers, and a cloak they very obviously made themselves out of scrap fabric - it does have a lot of magpie feathers sewn onto the outside carefully, if not skillfully. they also carry around a pouch that they use to stuff any promising-looking feathers in while they're out and about (they do this because 1) magic reasons and 2) feathers soft! colourful!!)

I’m watching this cracking Welsh-language show called 35 Days (35 Diwrnod), about the last days leading up to a murder.

This season is about the four children of a dead mother trying to sort out who inherits her *extremely* beautiful house & farm (but was their father murdered...? and by who...? And what’s going on with their uncle...? And did their parents ever get over the accidental death of their baby brother Heulyn...?), and for some reason they all have to be in the beautiful house while they sort this out.

One of the things I’m loving about it, is they haven’t decided whether it’s a ghost story or not yet. Two of the characters are in a ghost movie.

Very middle class sister-in-law Gwenda, who keeps hearing the dead child cry in the night, and keeps coming across her niece Mabli claiming she is “playing with Heulyn in the woods”, or that Heulyn wants her to push Gwenda down the stairs. No one else is in a ghost movie. Just Gwenda and Mabli. And there’s like, one scene of this in every episode - no more, no less - and then it’s back to who Uncle Hyw was shagging and whether the Chinese investors are going to pull out of demolishing the house to turn it into a leisure park and shouting.

I’m actually really enjoying this. Because I’ve no idea whether it’s stealth horror or not. It’s certainly got a lot of the tropes of a good haunted house film - a beautiful house, dark family secrets, real estate drama. It’s elegantly done.

The Religion plays a strong part in many peoples' lives in the known world ranging from the worshipping of prophets to mythical beings and cults.

Known religions

Imperial Cult of the Great Sun  (  Warmth, life, humanity, ruling dynasty, emperor, army )  The cult of the Great Sun was formerly only one of various religions in the Empire, popular only in its core regions. This situation changed during reign of the predecessor of Emperor Fergus, about a hundred years ago, who initiated a series of major reforms. The ruler was looking for a symbol which would unite the realm better and more permanently than only the ruling dynasty. By skillfully managing with cash and giving priests his monarchic favor, he made the cult begin to gain a new crowd of followers throughout the whole Empire. In exchange, the Emperor demanded absolute support for his policies from the clergy, practically making priesthood another form of civil service.Then the monarch issued a special decree called "March 8th Edict" which granted the cult the status of official state religion. Though during reign of the Usurper its rights were diminished, its position increased after Emhyr var Emreis and his army overthrew the usurper. The cult has its roots in the Elven cult of nature. The primary deity is the Sun, giver of warmth and life, protector of humankind, but also capable of being cruel and destructive. Since the "March 8th Edict" it has also been the patron of the ruling dynasty. The most important holidays are the Equinoxes and birthday of the current Imperator, currently July 26. The central ceremonies are held in the capital, performed by the Imperator acting as the High Priest, head of the religion.All holidays are celebrated with great pomp, to the accompaniment of solemn music and in the presence of all major officials, commanders, and aristocrats. After official ceremonies, folk games with food and beverage take place.  It is noteworthy that a number of customs related with the holidays are derived directly from Elven tradition. Priests of the cult wear white raiments embroidered in gold and silver during devotions, celebrations, and holidays; as casual clothes they wear black civilian dress.

Zerrikanian beliefs Zerrikanians are known to worship dragons and make sacrifices before images of the said creatures.The religion is founded upon a legend of the golden dragon Zerrikanterment and how he created a protective barrier around Zerrikania by burning forests around and thus turning them into deserts and wastelands.They believe that before the dragons there was no other god, that they are the creators and rulers of the world. The priestesses are in charge of the worship. They explore all religious knowledge, are fluent in writing, and use the heavenly gift, meaning that they use magic drawn from dragons who are the only creatures apart from cats that are known to absorb magical energy.

Comments: Been watching earth and fire primal eyed dragons for possible Moria and Erebor location fandragons, and as a result have had my eye on this pretty girl for a while now. Finally gave in and picked her up; I think that she makes an excellent Erebor, with the fire eyes representing either Smaug’s presence, or the extensive forges within.

Her colours also work out well to be a good mate for BrownLands. And, yes, this time I did remember to Assay Bloodlines before buying.
