VENOM SPOILERS AHEAD

These are a few of my thoughts on some of the scenes in the movie

1) Venom may not be the cockroach, however, earlier in the movie, someone(I can not remember who) referenced something about cockroaches and their ability to survive basically anything. So, in the end credit, when the cockroach shows up next to a broken vial, it is probably at LEast a metaphor for Venom's resilience. And this is the drive for Venom wanting to go with Eddie so badly to the Statue of Liberty, so if Venom gets seperated or dies and is somehow able to come back somehow, he would be able to find Eddie there.

2) I think both Eddie and Venom knew they were going to have to die as soon as Venom informed Eddie of the Codex situation. When Eddie says something like "well, we have many more roads to travel." Venom says,"THAT WOULD BE NICE." Furthermore, I think that when they are singing in the van Venom and Eddie are both experiencing the pain of knowing one them is going to have to die and that is why Venom is singing, he has accepted that something will probably happen and he just wants to have fun(a partial reason for his reckless behavior at the casino where he gambles and says "it is like all of my problems went away" and transforms to dance, because even though he know the MEAT GRINDERS will find him, he wants to have fun with Eddie) AND THE REASON EDDIE IS NOT SINGING IS BECAUSE HE DOES NOT LIKE THE IDEA OF THE BOTH OR EITHER OF THEM DYING AND THE LYRICS OF THE SONG ARE MAKING HIM SAD

3) EDDIE WAS SO READY TO DIE WITH VENOM. HE WAS SO READY TO JUST GO WITH HIM. AND VENOM TAGHHH RAGHH

ALSO, I WANT TO MENTION HOW GOOD SPACE ODDITY IS OF A SONG FOR THE THIRD MOVIE.

IT IS A CRY FOR HELP BECAUSE MAJOR TOM IS HOPELESS AND ALONE

(Also², to make myself feel better, maybe the reason Venom never confesses(it would probably make sense for Venom to since he can read/feel Eddie's thoughts so Eddie would probably assume that Venom knows(were it cannon)) was because he knew he wasn't going to let Eddie die, and he did not want Eddie to carry/feel the hurt of loosing that when Venom already confirmed his care through actions)

okay is she being actually immature or is it just a woman over 30 expressing a human experience you find to be immature.

like yeah. at certain ages... let shit go. im not defending the real immature shit. im not defending the karen you're picturing. i worked in retail i hate those people too. (once somebody got mad at me because she didn't like how our winter window decor was a snowman smoking a pipe. i wish i was joking).

but men at 57 will write books about how 17 year old girls are soooo sexy. they will invent worlds where women have to be naked for "armor reasons." they will write songs that treat women as objects. people rush to defend them. meanwhile a woman at 35 will be like "heartbreak is hard, actually" or "i feel betrayed by a friend" or "i am struggling with something emotionally." immediately people will say stuff like this woman is 35 by the way. by the way this woman is SO OLD to be experiencing this. BY THE WAY.

im 31, almost 32. the other day a poet was blasted online because at her "big age", she had written a poem about feeling unloved. top comment was "this woman is 29 by the way." this woman is too old to still be useful, by the way. she has to behave better . maybe if she was a good wife and mother she could stop existing loudly, and the story could continue on without her. this woman has served her purpose, by the way. she's so cringe, by the way. at 29 - so old! - she still hasn't figured out that her existence should be one of shame.

#poorly drawn mdzs #mdzs #wei wuxian #granny wen #a-yuan #It's always fascinating how colours translate from the page to the screen.#It would probably surprise a lot of people to see what some of these comics actually look like in physical form.#My lighter colours takes about 3-4 washes before it shows up on scan which means it tends to ripple the page.#And my yellows and oranges are drastically different colours when scanned compared to the ink colour.#There's about 20 or so comics where everyone's hair is purple - because it scanned in the exact same colour as my light grey.#Wait my book is right here in front of me so I can...yeah...Comics 57-77 were indeed purple.#This is all to say - is it not fascinating how what we see is often not the full truth of what the subject truly is?#Is it not fascinating to open another episode that reminds us that despite everyone's claims they could totally spot the evil YLLZ-#-The man walks around among them for months as no more than a man haggling for deals like the rest.#It's almost as if he's just a person. It's almost as if none of us - no matter what we do are really anything more than just a person.#Your good acts will be overtaken by how other's interpret you in negative light.#Just as easily are people willing to forgive crueler actions if they hold you in high esteem.#But what's real? Is the page I hold the real version of this comic? Is it the one you look at?#Is the man known as Wuxian the most himself when he is alone or on the battlefield?#Perhaps he is and has always been a scared orphan boy lost in the market.#I think there is no good answer to any of these questions.#But I do know that panic rising in WWX as he frantically looks for A-yuan was for more than one boy.#To be human is to have layers around a delicate center. We only really grow around our wounds from childhood.#In other words; Donkey from Shrek would also probably call Wei Wuxian an onion. I'll see myself out now.

I'm barely to the massacre and I can already tell I'm going to be screaming at every this-makes-no-sense decision made by the writers (your temple is under violent attack, and you evacuate the kids... to a barely enclosed corner in a prominent temple room? Instead of to the hundreds of sky bison that were highlighted as flying in earlier? Why?) (And Aang left to clear his head and think instead of to run from his duties? That's such a less compelling plot arc?) (And the show had him briefly monologue about being a goofy kid who loves pies and his friends instead of using the extended temple scene to show any of that? Didn't want to pay more child actors, did you, Netflix?)

Yeah I'm just. Going to be screaming at the screen instead of enjoying this. Different decisions aren't necessarily bad, but when those decisions seem to be in the direction of "show a man burning alive before we even get to the on-screen massacre" this is just... not the show for me.

#The original show emphasized the horror and sadness of the massacre by putting it in the context of people and culture lost #This one is going the Show People We Don't Know Burning Alive Clearly That Will Make More Of An Impression route #Gyatso's bones will always be the epitome of heart break #get out of here with your on-screen immolations just to demonstrate literally flashy cgi #Anyway someone tell me if the Omashu episode is worth watching in isolation I've seen gifs of Zuko getting brow-beat by Random Market Lady #And that DOES sound hilarious #But is the rest of the episode worth it or should I stick to gifs #This is like trying to decide if a barely-canon-divergent fanfic is worth slogging through #For its five fun new scenes #When the rest is just The Same As The Original But Worse #avatar the last airbender #atla #natla #netflix atla

I'm sorry but the irony of Nico calling Max unprofessional is sending me so bad like sir there's an entire garage full of people, who were literally in the trenches trying to survive the Brocedes fallout while just doing their jobs, who might have a few things to say about your (& Lewis') level of professionalism at that time 😭✋️

there was a little teaser at the end that implied there'll be a sequel event, though we don't really know anything beyond that! I do think it's likely we'll get the other half of the cast in it, even if it's just wishful thinking on my part. 🤞🤞 NIGHTMARE SUITS FOR EVERYONE!!!!

as far as I know there's been no confirmation on whether it's going to be next year's Halloween event or a separate thing (the snow makes me think it'll be more Christmas-themed, or otherwise more related to the plot of the original movie) so. we're probably going to have to wait quite a while before we find out anything solid. :') they really do love just dropping these things on us and then watching us go absolutely wild with speculation while they watch like
