One has to wonder how Vosdra can trust the Blorgons
when his own creations tend to turn on him again and again.

The writers had to come up with an explanation for how the Blorgons survive getting shot by projectile weapons.
Their solution? Blorgonium, a metal only found on Blorgonnon, from which Vosdra created their outer casings. Blorgonium has different properties, depending upon the writer of a given episode.

Based on the fact that Lily returned during ‘Straight Ahead’,
it was clear that Vosdra and the Blorgons were nearing the destruction of the cosmos in ‘The Borrowed Planet’, causing the barriers between realities to collapse.

Originally, the Blorgon mutants were said to have been created as the result of nuclear war.
Only later was it outright stated that Herbert Vosdra genetically engineered them into being the unable-to-shoot-straight space communists out to take over the entire cosmos.

If the Fourth Inspector had indeed destroyed the Blorgon mutants before they were placed in Vosdra’s tanks,
would an even worse creature have risen up and conquered the cosmos?

It is good to know that Vosdra chose the designation for the Blorgons himself, based upon his race’s name, the Globnors,
rather than having some brand-new character introduced to suggest a bunch of anagrams that sound nothing remotely like the evil we know the Blorgons will become.

The first look we get at the 14th Inspector includes an accidental visit to Herbert Vosdra’s laboratory while the first iteration of the Blorgon tank is being examined.
It was odd seeing Herbert fully ambulatory, yet he sounded the same as ever!

Even the Inspector couldn’t bring himself to abandon a lad in a minefield,
despite the fact that he knew said child would end up being Herbert Vosdra, creator of the Blorgons.

If the Blorgon King is essentially a god to lesser Blorgons,
would he acknowledge Herbert Vosdra as his superior?

It would be interesting to visit a parallel universe
in which Herbert Vosdra is a benevolent scientist who created the Blorgons for a good purpose.

Because the programme has run for a long time,
‘Inspector Spacetime’ has a long list of villains.

How is it that the Blorgons continue to follow Herbert Vosdra,
despite the fact that he is as inferior as they are?

When Herbert programmed the Blorgons to believe they were the smartest creatures in the Cosmos,
how did he not foresee them treating him as inferior?

‘Creation of the Blorgons’ was the first time
the Blorgons turned on Herbert Vosdra
(but not the last).

If there’s anything more bizarre, it’s the troopers in Blorgon helmets
in the serial ‘Bringing Back the Blorgons’, which appear similar to what Herbert Vosdra frequently wears.
