I just realized something. In Ghostfuckers, we saw a flashback of Blitz moving the team up to Pride. New office, new ring, new business model. That means he and Loona were living somewhere else before. Blitz didn't give up that bedroom to Loona when he adopted her. He and Loona moved into their current apartment together. They could only afford a one-bedroom, and Blitz would have insisted it go to his daughter. ME: Doesn't really change anything, but wow it is so frustrating to see him be financially irresponsible all the time. If only - VARIOUS NEUROTYPICAL AUTHORITY FIGURES IN MY LIFE: If only you would be more organized, I don't understand why you don't just blah blah - ME: - never mind. Blitz, enjoy your horse merch.

That's...(augh!)...true, but it's also bizarrely sweet and I want to know how it came about. Did Blitz make this card, or did Millie? Was it a present? A peace offering after an argument? I love that it's clearly a thing specific to the two of them, because Moxxie does not give Blitz unconditional support (and certainly doesn't get it). And I hope in my little fanlizard heart that she has a card just like it in her wallet, with "Millie and Blitz play with his horsie figures for one afternoon."

Thoughts on Blitz and his relationship to sex

SPOILERS FOR SEASON ONE AND TWO AHEAD

In episode 1 and 2, Blitz makes explicit reference to wanting to sleep with both Millie and Moxxie. He does several things that hint at this or imply it, like poking Moxxie’s dick, or sneaking in to Ozzie’s to spy on their anniversary date.

I think @lost-romantique put in best, but basically, Blitz conflates sexual feelings and other emotions, like platonic love.

So he thinks that he wants to fuck Moxxie and Millie, but what he’s really trying to express is that he loves them. I’d say it’s mostly platonically, but there may be an undercurrent of genuine sexual attraction, too.

And after the Stolas break-up, the apology tour, and the ghost fuckers hotel demon fight, Blitz is finally recognizing the separation of those emotions. He’s being forced to face it, with Stolas saying he wants a romantic relationship and not just a sexual one.

And when talking to Millie, Blitz acknowledges “I’ve never had a friend that I didn’t want to fuck before.”

You're right, it is a nautical-themed bar, I hadn't noticed. Hm. We won't really know till we have seen the Envy ring, but until then I think my money is on Greed. Blitz was operating in Greed when he met Moxxie, and in the Harvest Moon episode Blitz said he'd never really been to Wrath. (And we now know he wasn't in Pride back then either.) Crimson's dining room was also decorated with an undersea theme, and he employed a lot of shark demons. (Maybe the color scheme is biasing me - that's a dull greeny-gold color, nicely calculated to suggest sordid money.)

Do you guys think the place that Blitzø fought/meet Millie was in the envy ring?

Because when I rewatch Ghost F*ckers, the bar has a sea ship feature and the bar has mostly shark demons.

Millie, no ...

We were shown in Helluva Boss s2e4 "Western Energy" that "wrathian" is the second-worst ethnic insult that other demons have for imps, the second-most despised species in hell, only barely more polite than calling one a "fire toad."

So when we saw young Millie, in a flashback (in yesterday's episode, s2e10 "Ghostf*ckers"), call herself "just a wrathian," it made my heart hurt. No wonder she's grateful that Blitz taught her self-respect.

The difference was startling! Millie in that flashback looks older and tired. She's far more guarded and hostile. I immediately thought of the stereotype of the hard-edged successful businesswoman, someone who has shaped herself into a weapon to break the glass ceiling. And I think it's very deliberate that the montage we see of her first year with I.M.P has _no_ romance and no focus on Moxxie. Millie did not transform with the love of a good man blah blah blah. She just got some space to be herself and grow into the open, joyful murderer we know and love. Blitz gave her that space. He's a loudmouthed dickhead and an irresponsible, emotional mess with an anger management problem, there's nothing romantic between them (and I don't think there ever was, Blitz is more attracted to Moxxie and therefore 1000% more of a bastard to Moxxie) and yet you can _see_ what Millie finds so worthwhile in him.

I love their BFF relationship. (Yes, of course it would've been better to show it earlier, but we're heading into the second half of the show with a much more well-developed and well-written cast than when we started. Can't wait to see where Millie - and Sallie May, too - go from here. )

So. Infestor demons. They sure are a thing. And they can apparently possess OTHER demons, given how this episode went. The idea: what if one of my Alastors (or someone else's muse) got possessed by one? It could cause a bit of angst and drama that might spice things up a bit.

SPOILER WARNING FOR THE OWL HOUSE S2E10 SPOILER WARNING

Luz's father

Camila Noceda is Luz's mother, she is a Latina women currently living in Gravesfield. We don't know how old she is nor who she made love with to gave birth to Luz but I got an idea.

This is the first ever picture we see of a younger Camila. She is holding a young Luz who can't stay still, not even for a picture. After that this picture was shown in episode 4 alot of people were wondering who took this picture and I think that Luz's father did it.

Taking a picture of your wife and daughter is a pretty normal thing to do for father, right? I really don't know if it is but most of the fathers in media are represented to always want to make memories of everything that happens in their child life, this right here could be were Luz said her first words or something and her father is just trying to make a memory of it.

This picture right here is from the new episode (that's why the spoiler warning) we can see Camila with shorter hair and glasses, meaning quite time has passed since the previous pictures. There is also a new character standing next to her (shout out to the storyboard artist for cutting out his face)

That man is definitely Luz's father just look at how comfortable Luz is at the fact that he is petting her, you wouldn't let a random stranger touch your daughter, right Camila?

But if you take a closer look at Camila's hands you can see that there is no ring. I personally don't think that this is a drawing error but that is was on purpose. What if Camila and Luz's father never married eachother. What if Camila fell in love with this man and he loved her back that they weren't careful enough and accidentally made Luz. This show has already proven that they could be dark what's stopping them to make Luz an accident that her parents just accepted. This would probably also explained why Camila looked so young on the first picture. But I don't think that Camila wasn't an adult when Luz was born, maybe she was like in her early twenties what would made her now in her 30s. People can be much older/younger than you think. Now at first I thought that Luz's father died put something in this episode convinced me otherwise...

In this scene right here Camila is clearly heartbroken about the fact that Luz chose not to come back home and even ask her if she hates living with her that much. She doesn't want to loose her daughter or she just doesn't want her daughter to live with someone else. If Luz's father didn't die then he probably left her and not because he didn't love them anymore but because he had no other choice.

Mr Noceda probably didn't have job before and stayed at home with Luz, maybe he even introduce Luz to the Good Witch Azura novel. But one day he found a job out of Graveyards and wanted to take Luz and Camila with him. Camila didn't want to leave the city, she lives here and work here finding another job will be very hard and who knows maybe Mr Noceda job doesn't bring enough food at the table. So he tried to convince her to stay but it didn't work and Camila tried convincing him to stay here but it also didn't work. Since they couldn't come to an agreement Mr Noceda decided to leave but he asked to take Luz with him, they weren't married and having a lawyer choose for the fate of who Luz will live with, wasn't a good idea in their opinion. So Mr Noceda made once again a heartbreaking decision, he left Luz with Camila but before he left he told Luz that they still can call or text, he even told her to never let anyone get in the way of her dreams and to let her imagination shine. That's maybe the first reason why Luz always act so passionate about her dreams and imagination.

But what if something happened...

Something that Camila and Luz don't know, the reason why Luz never mentioned him. What if Mr Noceda died and no one knows it. That would be the darkest and most saddest thing in The Owl House. Not knowing that your father died years ago must be heartbreaking for Luz.

I don't really think that that's going to happen but it's a possibility.
