How have I evolved in the last 7 years? 🤔

7 years ago…

1. I was working 2 jobs; 1 full time 👩🏾‍🏫 and 1 part time 🛍👠👢.

2. Attended my 10 year reunion for high school.

3. Lived on the other side of town in a townhouse

4. Celebrated 5 years of marriage ❤️

5. Celebrated my sister graduating high school👩🏽‍🎓

6. Got a “new to me” car 🚗😄

In the last 7 years,

1. I have traveled to 2 places that I never thought about going to 🛫

2. I’ve started a positive mental health journey

3. Got another “new to me” car 😃 🚙

4. Went back to school 🏫 ✍🏾 📝

5. Started a new job in my field that paid way more than the full time and part time combined 🤑

6. Became more assertive* This is a huge win for me 😉

7. Celebrated 12 years of marriage 👰🏾‍♀️❤️🤵🏿‍♂️🥰

8. Learned more about photography & did a Soft launch of my small business 📸📈

9. I have another younger brother ❤️

10. Became an aunt to my first niece and 2 more nephews 💕💙💙

I don’t know what will happen in the next few days, months, or years. But I’ve allowed myself to stop rushing the process. It was my first time traveling with her since she was a baby and boy were we in for a ride. I have so much respect for moms who actually have to travel with newborns and toddlers (LOL -- this was my training session.) 🤓😆😝 I am so thankful for @amtrak for the stress-free experience. Not to mention their pet fees aren’t ridiculously expensive, the seats were super comfortable and wifi was FREE 99. I can so relate to @hellonecole! ❤️So grateful for her sharing this!
