I can't wait for the Illuminate to show up in Helldivers 2, because from the way they're talked about both in-universe and by the community, the Squids are fucking TERRIFYING. An entire extragalactic race of highly intelligent, technologically superior beings; whose SCOUTING PARTY from the first game was so strong that Super Earth was almost overrun. And now, while we're still barely holding the line on two fronts the Squids are preparing to tell us in no uncertain terms that "The Milky Way isn't yours to conquer." These fuckers are going to be terrifying and I really hope Freedom Day 2024 sees them crashing the party.
