Happy hump day! This is week two of my 2020 WWW Wednesday participation, and it is so incredibly helpful to get your thoughts together. The WWW Wednesday meme is currently hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words, and is a great way to do a weekly update on what you’ve been reading and what you have planned. I loved doing this challenge, and am so excited to give it another shot.
To take part, all you have to do is answer the following three questions:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
What I am Currently Reading:
Last week for WWW Wednesday, I was still reading Poe’s Collection of Stories, and was thinking of reading Amanda Flower’s Flowers and Foul Play. Soon after that, I read Flowers in a day, and rapidly started book 2, Death and Daisies. It is light, it is fun, and just what I needed to get out of the heavy slump. I will finish Poe soon, I am in the middle of Murders of Rue Morgue which is actually a really fun and engaging detective story (the first one, by all accounts).
What I Recently Finished Reading:
Last week, I also mentioned getting ready to start Ordinary Miracles by Martyn Carey for Netgalley. I did manage to finish it (it was a rough go), and actually got that review up quickly. I can’t in good conscious say I recommend it. However, I also finished Flowers and Foul Play (RTC), and that I can absolutely recommend for a fun and light cozy mystery, set in Scotland. I finished it in one day, and am currently devouring the sequel.
What I Think I’ll Read Next:
Since I am enjoying the series so much, I will probably read Mums and Mayhem next to finish off the Amanda Flowers series. For my next Netgalley pick, I have The Archive of the Forgotten, the awaited sequel to Library of the Unwritten by A.J. Hackwith. I loved Library of the Unwritten, which follows librarian Claire in Hell’s library, which houses all of the books that were never finished, and the characters who embody them come to life. In Hell there is also a collection of odd and wonderful paraphernalia that Claire now has to manage, and I can’t wait to see how that goes.
That’s all for now, folks! what are you reading / looking forward to? Let’s chat!
WWW Wednesday – August 19, 2020 Happy hump day! This is week two of my 2020 WWW Wednesday participation, and it is so incredibly helpful to get your thoughts together.

Nintendo Download for 7/25/19
Nintendo Download for 7/25/19
I always enjoy writing up the Nintendo Download, but especially when it heralds the release of a game I’m really excited about. This week, that game is the latest from the Fire Emblemseries. Despite not knowing a ton about the game courtesy of Nintendo, I still am very, very hyped to play the latest console iteration. Besides that, there are the usual sales, more featured games, digital…
