So here's my take on tf2 mercs as Rain World characters, I made this a while ago, around march/april of this year, back when i was still fresh to tf2 as a whole

I hope all of this is pretty self explainatory, but I might expand on the idea, since I think this fits pretty well with the mercs if you know the RW characters and their abilities (lorewise idk, could be way different)

may or may not draw them in the future, who knows

im thinking about suns again (and making it everyone's problem)

they are an iterator. they were designed to have truly incomprehensible amounts of knowledge and processing power, to be able to compute countless possible outcomes of a situation

and yet

this one time, they failed to consider it. they didn't expect what would happen. they didn't realize it was too risky

they just… loved him too much, i think

all they wanted was to help him. they hated to see him so sad, so desperate, at a fate neither of them believed they could change

until, maybe, just maybe, there was a way

and they knew that they would never see him again if he made it work. but, they thought, at least he would be free.

how tragic, then, that it ended the way it did

that they were built to be perfectly calculating, able to precisely find out how to solve every problem, yet they are still swayed by emotion

pc going on a roadtrip adventure again tomorrow. They will put it through a 24hr or longer stresstest which should replicate the issue. But at least they suspect the same things as I do, either a psu issue or cpu/gpu is receiving power wrong in some way so it starts to act up after a while. Honestly I thought they would've done a longer stress test previously already, but apparently they just had it idling over the weekend, which hasn't caused any boots to me either. So I'm a little bit dissapointed in considering we gotta ship this thing halfway across the country for these testings, so I assume they would try everything. But at least they said they will look deeper into it and swap parts until they find the culprit. But they need to be able to replicate the issue for that.

At this point I will pray to the old gods that this thing will misbehave there as well. Please let this get solved.
