Well... I haven’t hatched a shiny Rowlet (715 eggs so far), but this guy showed up when I was running, waiting for the Pokémon to produce eggs.

Lol this time I wasn't even trying to shiny hunt. I was just battling Chansey/Blissey for easy experience and leveling up.

“Mommy can Stevie sleep in the room with Sofía and me?” Josie questioned, her hands on her hips as she looked up at you. “She can sleep in bed with me!”
“Stevie has been walking around outside where the cows are,” You reminded her. “So no, she cannot sleep in the bed with you. However, she may sleep in the room with you.”
“Thank you, mommy!” Josie beamed as she grabbed your legs.
Your gaze flickered to Javier who was already in their bedroom, trying to get Sofía down for the night. “You good?”
He turned and nodded, “She’s being difficult.” Javier chuckled as he cradled her to his chest. “But I’ll get her down.”
“Alright,” You smiled a little. “I’m going to go ahead and take a shower.” You told him, leaning down to kiss Josie’s forehead before sending her into the bedroom.
“Kitchen’s clean.” Monica told you as you walked through the family room. She and Nadia were curled up on the sofa watching a movie on the TV. “And I even remembered to set the pot for coffee in the morning.”
“I remembered.” Nadia retorted, swatting Monica with a pillow. “You headed for bed?”
You nodded, stifling a yawn. That trail ride zapped me. See you girls in the morning.” You offered them a mock salute before meandering down the hallway to the bedroom to grab your things.
You grabbed your pajamas and a towel from the hall closet and ducked into the bathroom. You caught your reflection in the mirror and grimaced — you looked like someone who had been rode hard and put up wet, which frankly fit.
The trail ride had been fun — but four hours in the saddle, in the sun had killed you.
You peeled off your tank top, before shimmying out of your jeans, leaving them both on the floor as you walked over to the shower to start up the water.
You jumped a little when you heard a knock at the door, your brows furrowing together. “Someone’s in here.” You called out, as if that weren’t obvious from the light coming from the bottom of the door.
“It’s me.” Javier answered back as he tried the door.
“Really?” You laughed as you unlocked the door and pulled it open. “I told you I was gonna take a shower.”
“Which is why I’m here.” Javier’s brows rose upwards as his lips slowly curved into a smirk. “Thought we might conserve water. You know, help pops cut down on the bill this month.”
“I am sweaty and disgusting.” You retorted, hands on your hips as you stared him down. “And we are not alone in the house.”
He chuckled, “Trust me, I’m aware.” Javier stepped towards you, his hands coming to rest at your hips, fingers rubbing over the waistband of your underwear. “But we both know the pipes make enough noise to cover up any sounds.”
You swallowed thickly as you looked up at him. His hair was still plastered to his forehead from where he’d worn a cowboy hat all afternoon and you could resist reaching out fluffing it off his skin. “They are awfully loud.” You glanced behind you at the shower, biting down on your bottom lip. “This is a terrible idea, but I love it.”
“I thought you might come around,” Javier clicked his tongue against his teeth and started unbuttoning his shirt as you worked at unbuckling his belt and getting his jeans down his hips.
“I’m curious,” You started as you traced a finger over the outline of his cock through his boxers. “What wound you up?”
He ran his tongue over the edges of his teeth as he met your gaze. “Started this morning.” Javier told you and couldn’t help but laugh. “What?”
You shook your head, sniffling another laugh. “I was tempted this morning, but then I thought — not at his father’s house.” You scrunched up your nose as you cupped his cheeks and kissed him.
Javier curled his arm around your waist, “You think I haven’t—“
You slapped your hand over his mouth, “I don’t want to hear about all the women you’ve fucked here.” You scolded him, holding his gaze as you kept your hand clamped over his mouth.
He hooked his fingers in the waistband of your underwear and snapped the fabric, causing you to yelp softly, taking your hand off his mouth. “And then you go there.”
You kissed him again, “I don’t want to hear about anyone else or I’ll be forced to bring up Lance.”
Javier hissed dramatically, “A low fucking blow, baby.” He grabbed a handful of your ass as he pulled you towards him.
“Yeah, well.” You shrugged, pressing against him. “It’s what you deserve.”
He stole another kiss as he dragged your underwear down your hips and unsnapped your bra. “Don’t be mean, baby.” He said lowly, his breath dancing over your lips.
“No.” You caught his bottom lip between your teeth, biting down gently, before pulling away to check on the water. From the corner of your eye you could see Javier touch his lip, before divesting himself of the rest of his clothing.
It was risky doing this in a house full of people. But… you’d be lying if you said you hadn’t been thinking about it. There was something very appealing about watching Javier do manual labor around the ranch — riding horses, mending fences, helping haul feed around the barn.
You could get used to it.
“The water’s perfect,” You told him, pulling the shower curtain aside as you stepped in.
Javier wasted very little time joining you in the shower, “Feels fucking good after a long day.” He remarked as he reached out to gather some water in his palm to splash on his face.
“I’m telling you,” You warned him again. “I do not smell good.” You turned to face him as you stepped beneath the showerhead.
“I had noticed.” He taunted, following you forward until he was mostly under the spray as well. He reached out and brushed his fingers over your cheekbone, tucking wet hair behind your ears. “You having fun on the ranch?”
You nodded, “It’s a nice change of pace.”
Aside from the handful of conversations that had come up about your mother — you’d managed to put her far from your mind. Laredo was the perfect reset. Not to mention — Chucho seemed thrilled to know that you and Javier had gotten married.
That was something no other woman could claim.
You took his hand into yours, bringing it to your lips and kissing his ring finger. The ring was sitting in your bedroom, safe and sound from getting fucked up while he worked around the ranch.
“I love you.” Javier murmured, brushing his thumb over your lips.
“I love you too.” You smiled, leaning in to kiss him, draping your arm over his shoulder as you pressed against his chest. “Luckily,” You started with a laugh. “You smell too.”
“Everything smells a bit…” Javier made a face. “It’s either horse or cattle.”
You nodded, resting your forehead against his shoulder as you ran your arms over his, tracing water droplets down his skin.
You trailed your fingers down his chest and stomach, before reaching your intended destination. “You’ve got to be quiet,” You reminded him, lips close to his ear as you reached down between your bodies and curled your fingers around his cock.
Javier tensed, one hand grabbing at your hip as you started to stroke his hardening cock. “Baby.”
“Shh.” You whispered, dragging your thumb over the head of his cock, before dropping to your knees in front of him.
Rivulets of water ran down your face, but for the most part his body blocked the water from running directly into your face. You curled your fingers around the base of his cock as you swept your tongue out to replace your thumb.
Javier grabbed at both of your shoulders, a low groan escaping him as you cupped his balls as you wrapped your lips around the head of his cock.
You teased your forefinger up and down the length of his cock as you swirled your tongue over the head teasingly.
“Shit.” Javier hissed out as you pulled away sitting back on your legs and looking up at him. “That fucking mouth of yours.”
You smirked, “Good, right?”
He offered you his hands as you stiffly rose back to your feet. “But not quite what I want.” He told you as he brushed his thumb over your chin and leaned in to kiss you.
His mouth slanted over yours, his tongue slipping past your lips to find yours. He never cared about where your mouth had just been, hell — how many times had he eaten you out, while he was still leaking from your cunt.
Your breath caught in the back of your throat as Javier’s hand slid between your thighs, you moaned against his lips as his probing fingers dipped into your slick center.
“Javier.” You whispered, breaking from his kiss and pressing your forehead to his.
“You good, baby?”
You nodded, playing with the damp hair at the nape of his neck. “Yeah.”
Javier pressed another kiss to your lips, before urging you to turn around and face the wall. You leaned forward, bracing yourself against it as he moved to line his cock up behind you.
You bit down on your bottom lip to keep from crying out as Javier slowly sank into you, A throaty moan escaped you. He grabbed at your hips tightly, holding you steady as he started to move, driving the length of his cock into you.
There was no time to take it slow — as much as you wanted to savour the sensation of him. You rolled back into his thrusts, fingers trying to keep a grip on the wet wall in front of you as he worked himself into you again and again.
The angle was perfect. Every thrust had him hitting that sweet spot within you, your cunt clenching around his cock.
Javier released his hold on your hip, his hand sliding up to grab at your breast. He fondled it roughly, his thumb dragging over the pebbled peak of your nipple.
“Fuck!” You gasped, hoping you hadn’t been too loud. Javier’s pace faltered, but you reached behind you and grabbed at his leg helplessly. You were too close for him to stop.
His hand slid from your breast, back down to where your bodies were joined, his finger stroking over that little bundle of nerves that made fresh waves of heat burn in your lower belly.
“Come on baby,” Javier urged and that little bit of encouragement was all it took. Your back arched as your body pulsed around him, mind-numbing bliss winding through your body as you came apart for him.
He was fast behind you, hips pressed flush against you as he spilled into you. His hand tightened at your hip, hard enough to leave bruises behind.
You missed the connection the second he pulled out of you. It took you a second to stand upright, pulse thundering in your ears as you turned around to face him. “Hi.” You whispered, reaching out to brush your fingers over his cheek.
Javier’s breathing was ragged, his eyes still heated from the frenzied moment and you let yourself get lost in the bruising force of his kiss as his lips crashed against yours. Two bottles of shampoo went tumbling to the floor of the shower and neither of you gave a damn.
There was a very good chance that if Monica and Nadia had passed the bathroom on the way to their room, that they’d know exactly what had gone on behind the closed door and right then and there? You didn’t care.

PING Apparel introduces SS19 performance collection
Continuing to strengthen the brand’s commitment to helping golfers look and play their best with premium clothing that elevates feel and on-course performance, PING Apparel unveiled its SS19 collection. The new line is designed and engineered using cutting-edge fabrics, with select polos and mid-layers featuring a new, more luxurious cotton blend -- Sensorcool Cotton. The men’s apparel is available in select golf shops now.
“We are extremely excited about the launch of our Sensorcool Cotton program,” said Andy Solheim, PING Executive Vice President. “We have worked with our partners at CoolMax to develop a cotton/poly yarn that offers a luxurious cotton feel while also delivering superior moisture management, quick-dry comfort and a stretch benefit that ensures full range of motion.”
The collection stays true to PING’s design language of Considered, Clean, Timeless, Tailored and Authentically Cool and combines this with its Sensor Technology platform of SensorWarm, SensorCool, and SensorDry. Still integral are PING’s technology partners Tekfit® (waistband stretch), Coolmax® (thermoregulation), Primaloft® (warmth, breathability), Pertex® (wind and water protection) and Zegna Baruffa® fine Italian Merino wool.
“We love the phrase ‘Engineered to Play’ as every piece of clothing needs to be performance driven to help the player,” Solheim said. “Fashion, color and detail are very important but the design and performance of our apparel must mirror the same ethos we bring to the design of our golf clubs.”
Sensorcool Cotton The Karsten III and Raymond polos, the Practice Tee, and Herman mid-layer all feature Sensorcool Cotton, which is blended with technologically advanced Coolmax fabric to deliver exceptional softness and comfort. Coolmax fibers transport moisture away from the body. Stretch properties and detailing deliver soft-touch, cotton performance.
Key Mid Layers The Vermillion and Fracture are year-round performers. A half-zip, soft-touch windproof and water-resistant stretch top, the Vermillion is a versatile go-to. And for cooler spring and summer golf, the ultra-lightweight Fracture offers an appealing yarn-dyed gradient effect, plus moisture-moving and stretch qualities.
Players Pant A new five-pocket performance trouser, the Players Pant is designed with a slimmer-fit leg and engineered with four-way stretch throughout for complete freedom of movement for optimum comfort and playability.
The SS19 collection is inspired by the rich colors and brilliant, towering red-rock mountainous landscapes of the town of Sedona in PING’s long-time home state of Arizona. Its natural gradients of red and orange, gold sunsets and blue skies informed these three color stories for SS19:
Sedona Sunrise -- Deep Water Focused on key colors deep water and highlight shade sunshine yellow. Can be combined with a pop of yellow to create impactful outfit combinations when mixed with lighter greys, minerals and navy. This fresh seasonal pallet works across both winter and sun belt territories.
Sedona Sunrise -- Sky Azure Key colors are sky azure and fresh water. Sky azure emerges as a key color trend, updating imperial blue with a lighter, more vibrant shade. Fresh water creates a cool tonal color within stripes and marls. A sky azure gradient jacquard in mid-layers and polos creates active statement pieces that complement mainstays such as navy, asphalt and ash.
Sedona Sunrise -- Iron Red The Iron Red story is focused on iron red and deep-sea coral. Gradient jacquards in iron red are inspired by Sedona’s natural rock formations. These rich shades work beautifully together in heather and feeder-striped shirts. Classic in style with broad consumer appeal, they provide an impact when paired with black, asphalt and pearl grey.

After the girls had gotten their fill of watching Mulan for the dozenth time, you and Steve helped them set up a pillow fort in the middle of the family room floor, while Javier, Monica, and Nadia ran a relay team on bringing popcorn and Capri Sun out to keep them occupied while the six of you tried to enjoy The Mask of Zorro.
“I wanted sweet popcorn.” Josie huffed a little, but shoveled a handful of popcorn into her mouth, before retreating back into the pillow fort with Olivia and a full bowl of popcorn.
“Please don’t let Sofía eat any.” You warned.
Olivia poked her head out, “Sofía is sleeping.” She told you as she shushed you.
“Hey, no.” Steve shook his head.
“It’s fine,” You assured him before turning towards Javier as he returned with two glasses of wine and a bottle tucked under his arm. “Classy.”
He winked at you, “Figured we could do something different for movie night.”
You took your glass from him and took a sip, “You read my mind.” You took the bottle from him, sitting it down on the coffee table beside your glass of wine. “Girls, do you have everything you need?”
“Yes!” They called back.
“I finally got the movie rewound,” Connie announced as she flopped down onto the opposite side of the sofa, beckoning Steve to her.
“Has no one ever heard ‘be kind, rewind’?” Steve chuckled as he sank down beside her and stretched his legs out to rest his feet on the coffee table.
“I don’t get why Blockbuster doesn’t just check every VHS,” Nadia pointed as she joined Monica on the armchair, “I kinda hope one day there’s an easier way to watch a movie.”
Monica popped a piece of popcorn into her mouth, “You mean like your crazy idea for being able to watch movies at home with the touch of a button?”
“It’s not that crazy,” Nadia protested, nodding her head towards Javier. “He agreed with me.”
“Yeah,” Javier said as he sat down beside you. “Picture it — any movie you want, right on your TV.” He draped his arm around you.
You grabbed the blanket off the back of the sofa, pulling it over your lap and curling up beneath it and leaning into Javier’s side.
“I dunno, Peña.” Steve hummed thoughtfully. “Seems like it might require a lot of storage.”
“It could work.” Javier picked up the edge of the blanket, situating it so it was over both of your laps. “You know,” He said to you. “I realized why you wanted to see this movie.”
“Oh?” You smirked at him, pulling your arm out from beneath the blanket to play your fingers through his hair.
“Antonio.” He arched a brow at you.
You scrunched up your nose, “Like you don’t love Catherine Zeta-Jones.” You teased, tugging at his hair before you leaned forward to grab your glass of wine, taking a sip.
Monica arched a brow, “I can see that.”
“Right?” You laughed, settling back into Javier’s side, sliding your arm behind him. “Steve, who’s on your list?”
“My what?”
“Your freebie.” You laughed, enjoying the brief look of panic on his face as he looked towards Connie. “You know, who would you get a freebie with if the opportunity arose?”
“Uh,” Steve scratched behind his ear. “I don’t know—“
Connie interrupted her, “Mine is definitely Harrison Ford. Though, Bruce Willis has a certain appeal too.”
“Does everyone have a list?” Steve looked towards Monica and Nadia.
Monica shrugged, “It would be a fight over Kate Winslet or Winona Ryder.”
Nadia popped a handful of popcorn into her mouth, “Definitely Winona.”
Steve gave you a weary list, “What the f-u-c-k?”
You couldn’t help but laugh, “Sorry?”
He raked his hand over his face, sighing heavily as he looked towards Connie, “Michelle Pfeiffer, I guess.”
“Really?” She hummed thoughtfully. “I guess I can see that.” Connie looked towards you then, “I thought you had a thing for George Clooney?”
“I go through phases.”
Javier squeezed your thigh under the blanket, “Let’s not forget your Kevin Costner phase. I don’t know how many times we’ve watched Robin Hood.”
“I cannot tell a lie, my taste varies.” You leaned your head against his shoulder, pressing your thigh against his beneath the cover. “You also love what’s her face from Jurassic Park.”
“Who?” Steve questioned.
Monica perked up, “Laura Dern?”
“Yeah! Her.” You nodded, nudging Javier in the ribs.
Javier shrugged, “I came for the dinosaurs and stayed for Dr. Sattler.”
“Now that we’ve gone down that path, how about we start the movie?” Connie suggested as she picked up the remote and hit play.
“For the record,” You interjected. “Sam Neill could get it.”
“Yes!” Connie agreed with a laugh as she grinned at you.
Steve and Javier exchanged looks and you couldn’t help but roll your eyes.
You pulled the blanket up around your arms as you shifted beside him. Javier wrapped his arm around your shoulders, maneuvering you so your head was resting against his chest more comfortably.
“You should grow your hair out again,” You told Javier as you tilted your head to look at him, before looking between him and the TV screen.
“And look like a prisoner?” His brows rose upwards as he looked down at you, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.
You reached up and brushed your fingers over the hair that fell against his forehead, “I like the unkempt look.” You ran your hand over his chest as you leaned in to kiss him.
He brushed his nose against yours as he drew back from the kiss, “Summer isn’t too far away, baby.”
“It’s January.” You laughed softly, shaking your head as you dragged your fingers through his too-short hair. “I guess I’ll just have to get my fill of unkempt from Zorro.” You sighed dramatically before turning your gaze back to the screen — watching as Alejandro and Joaquin got out of their predicament.
Javier’s hand idly stroked your bare leg beneath the blanket, his touch warming you far better than even the blanket had.
Chewing on your bottom lip, you tilt your head just enough to catch Javier’s gaze. He canted his head to the left, a brow arching upwards curiously as his fingers trailed along your inner thigh, rising up to skim just beneath the bottom of your shorts.
Oh.
You punctuated your nod with a quick kiss, before turning back to watch the TV, just in time to watch Joaquin meet his early demise.
You shifted beneath the blanket, letting your legs part far enough to accommodate Javi’s wandering hand. His touches were teasing — his fingers skimmed up your inner thigh, barely brushing over the crotch of your underwear, before retreating back down your thigh.
It made concentrating on the movie a little more difficult.
And no one was aware. You glanced towards Monica and Nadia — both of whom were staring at the screen and eating popcorn. Steve and Connie were whispering to each other, their gaze fixed on the screen too.
You leaned forward to pick up your wine glass and your own bowl of popcorn. You took a sip of wine, sitting the bowl down on the blanket where your leg was pressed against Javier’s. “You want your wine?”
“Yeah, baby.” Javier pulled his hand out from under the blanket and dragged his fingers through his hair.
You took another sip before sitting your glass back down and picking up his. Javier brushed his fingers against yours as he took the glass from you, a smirk playing over his lips as he met your eyes over the rim of the wine glass as he took a sip.
Both of you managed to behave yourselves as the movie progressed — right up until the scene between Elena and Zorro in the confessional.
Your hand slid back beneath the blanket, watching him out of the corner of your eye as your fingers ghosted over his cock through the heavy fabric of his jeans.
His ring clinked against the side of the Corelle bowl holding the popcorn between your laps and you froze. No one else seemed to notice — too focused on the film, as Love pursued Zorro. If they had noticed, Javier played it off like he was sitting the popcorn aside on the arm of the sofa.
He relaxed back against the cushion, exhaling slowly as he gave a short nod of his head. Neither of you were bold enough to do much more than grope each other — not when everyone and the children were right there, but the thrill was there nevertheless.
You bit down on your bottom lip, your eyes fixed on the TV as you cupped him more intentionally, rubbing your thumb down the length of him. His jeans kept him confined, but you could still feel the way he hardened beneath your touch.
Javier cleared his throat, using that as an excuse to unwind his arm from around you and tuck it under the blanket. He slid his arm beneath yours, his hand grabbing at your thigh possessively.
“Can we pause real quick?” Monica interjected, “I need to use the restroom.”
“Yeah,” You sat up a little straighter then, “Connie do you still have the remote?”
“Yep!” Connie fumbled for it on the sofa, before hitting pause.
Javier reached for the bowl of popcorn again, sitting it on his lap as he grabbed a few pieces and popped them into his mouth, giving you a sideways look.
“I think I’m going to go put Sofía down,” You announced as you rose to your feet, stretching your arms above your head.
You glanced back at Javier, watching the way he was watching you. You knelt down to peel Sofía out from the pillow fort, laughing at the mess the girls had managed to make with the popcorn — kernels and pieces of popcorn strewn across the floor.
Josie whispered to you, “We were feeding Bruno.” She pointed to her Beanie Baby.
“You’re lucky I’m in a good mood,” You teased her, cradling Sofía to your chest as you stood back up. “Hey Javi, do you mind helping me with Sofía?”
You weren’t sure you had ever seen Javier move as swiftly as he did. He was up and off the sofa, following you down the hallway to the nursery.
“I haven’t seen you move like that since 1987.” You taunted as you bounced Sofía in your arms, turning back to look at him as he lingered in the threshold.
Javier snorted, “What can I say, baby? I’ve been incentivized.” He dragged his fingers through his hair as he leaned against the doorframe.
You smirked, “We didn’t even make it to the kiss.”
Javier rubbed at the side of his neck as he stepped further into the room. “It’s not like we don’t know what happens.” You pointed out as you settled your daughter into her crib. “We need to do another movie night. Just the two of us.”
He nodded his head slowly, “That new Star Wars film is out in a couple months.”
“May, right?” You questioned as you leaned down to kiss Sofia’s head, before walking away from the bed. “Is this a date, Javi?”
Javier clicked his tongue against his teeth, “I’ll never stop dating you, baby.” He told you as you approached him.
“What a sap,” You scrunched up your nose and rolled your eyes as you reached out and draped your arms over his shoulders. “Have you always been this much of a sap?”
He rocked his jaw as he stared down at you, “Back in the 80s, I met someone who turned me into a sap.”
You snapped your fingers, “I bet it was that fucking Murphy character.”
Javier chuckled, “Bingo.” He ran his hands along your waist as he leaned down to kiss you, a slow kiss that only served to stoke the fire you felt in your veins.
A soft moan escaped you as your lips parted against his, your fingers winding through the hair at the nape of his neck.
He squeezed your hip, “We should go back out there.”
You nodded, brushing your nose against his. “As soon as they’re gone…” Your brows rose upwards and you caught his bottom lip between your teeth.
Javier pulled you towards him abruptly, your chests pressed together. “I’m counting the minutes, baby.” He assured you as he kissed you again, his tongue invading your mouth — winding you up, only to abandon you.
You trailed after him down the hallway, grabbing his ass before you stepped around him and his scandalized expression, as you made your way back to the sofa. You grabbed your wine glass, finishing off the last of it.
“Did she go down easily?” Connie questioned as she tucked her legs beneath her.
“Surprisingly easy.” You nodded, rubbing your thumb over your bottom lip as you glanced over the back of the sofa at Javier.
“Olivia had to go potty.” She explained, pulling your attention back to her. “Steve’s handling it.”
Javier settled back down on the sofa beside you, stretching his legs out and propping them up on the coffee table in front of him. “Should’ve known they’d need a potty break.”
Monica laughed, “And here I thought you two were going to have your own bathroom break.”
“Yeah, yeah, yeah.” You rolled your eyes and flipped her off with a grin as you shifted so you were laying across his lap with your head propped up on the arm of the sofa. “We are capable of behaving. Shocking as it might be.”
“Barely,” Javier admitted, stroking his fingers over your hair as he looked down at you with a smirk before turning his attention back to Monica. “You enjoying the film?”
Monica shrugged, “It’s not a masterpiece, but it’s enjoyable.”
You feigned offense, “Sacrilege. The Murphys are your parents now.”
“Rude!” She gave a look. “Did I criticize your taste in men? Because I could go there if you’d like me to.”
“Javier is sitting right here.” You laughed, turning to look up at him with a grin.
“Exactly,” Monica shook her head. “I’m just saying, your taste is suspect. I respect it but…”
You shrugged, “I didn’t choose to fall in love with a man who still dresses like it’s the seventies, but I’ve come to terms with that.”
“Baby… Shots fired.” Javier pursed his lips as he looked down at you.
“Are we roasting, Javier?” Steve questioned as he returned to the family room, sending Olivia back into the blanket fortress. “Because there’s a grill out back we can roast him on.”
“If you bring up the fucking burnt burgers—“
“Daddy!” Josie popped her head out. “You said a naughty word.”
“JoJo, not now.”
“Mommy, he said a bad word!”
You started laughing and quickly it spiraled out of control to the point that you were laughing so hard you ended up crying.
“You better believe I’m going to bring up burnt burgers,” Steve continued. “How the hell-“
“Daddy!” Olivia popped her head out of the fort beside Josie.
“Stephen.” Connie scolded him.
You started laughing even harder, sitting up and coughing as you tried to catch your breath. “I’m wheezing.”
“Baby, it’s not that funny.” Javier complained, but that barely deterred him. “You’ve got a lot of balls bringing that up Murphy… Or, actually not, come to think of it.”
“Ouch, Peña.” Steve huffed. “That’s a below the belt jab.”
Javier rolled a shoulder, “Bringing up one grilling mistake for the rest of my life sure seems like a below the belt jab.” His brows rose upwards warningly. “At least I don’t still go duck hunting.”
“Says the man who enjoys going skeet shooting.” Steve shot back.
“I enjoy skeet when the company’s not being a jackass.”
“Javier!” You slapped his thigh.
Josie seemed to have the answer for stopping the two grown children from fighting. She emerged from the blanket fort, hands on her hips and glared at Javier.
“Fuck!”
Everyone stopped at that.
“Josie!” You snapped.
“Joséfina Selina Peña.” Javier hissed out.
“Finally some peas and quiet.” Josie sighed dramatically and retreated back into the fort.
“Our daddies are such gophers.” Olivia said as she pulled the blanket entrance shut.
“Gophers.” Monica parroted, which sent all of you back into a spiral of laughter.
“More like whack-a-mole.” You pointed out with a snort as you grabbed for the remote. “We’ve got half a movie left to watch and one of the best kiss scenes in modern film. Less bickering, gentlemen.”
“We’re not bickering.” Javier insisted as he sank back down onto the sofa, dragging his fingers through his hair. “But you’re right about the kiss.”
“Thank you.” You winked at him. “Who doesn’t love a sexy sword fight followed by a different kind of sword fight.”
You hit the play button, tossing the remote aside as you settled in against Javier. “Doesn’t beat our kisses, though.” You assured him as you pressed a kiss to his cheek.
He turned to grin at you, “Not even close.” Javier rested his hand on your thigh, rubbing his thumb against your skin. “I love you.” He whispered.
You grinned to yourself. “I love you too.” You told him curling your arm around behind him as you settled your cheek against his shoulder.

My Pokemon Moon Adventures Part 27: Y’all Are Stupid (January 15, 2017)
Actual quote from the game, courtesy of Guzma
After finishing the final trial, we leave through the back for the Altar of the Moone, where Lillie, Hapu, and Mudsdale were waiting for us. Hapu mentioned that the trial at Vast Poni Canyon was the first one to be held in the region. After climbing a bunch of stairs, Lillie and I waited until the game automatically goes into night mode so that we can summon Lunala under the moon. She played the sun flute and I played the moon flute. Out of nowhere, Nebby (a Cosmoem) flew out of the bag (for the final time) and evolved again, this time into Lunala. Nebby (now a Lunala) transported us into the Ultra Space to confront Lusamine, but before we could do that, we see ya boi Guzma. He felt obviously defeated, explaining that catching the beasts was harder than he had imagined and that Lusamine is just fucked up. And that we’re all stupid.
Congratulations, Guzma, you played yourself.
It’s time once again for the thrilling conclusion of Dezbee’s Poorly Translated Theater, starring me, Lillie, Lusamine, and ya boi Guzma
Guzma: Alright, look. I’m bad. I’m supposed to be bad. The game’s storyline told me to be bad. Ain’t nobody told me that I gotta compete with Lusamine over badness. It’s obvious she got it down pat dry, but I’m sorry, Lillie, your mom is beyond crazy.
Lillie: Crazy or not, she’s going to see me again whether she likes it or not, whether she had sex with Nihilego or not...
Guzma: Crap, I don’t even want to talk about that.
Nihilego and Lusamine entered
Lusamine: Guzma, I finally did it. Gosh, it never felt so damn good. (sees me and Lillie) The fuck you doing here? Do you want to have sex with Nihilego too?
Lillie: Eww, mom. I’m 11. You don’t want me to contact the local news station because you want me to get freaky with a creature, do you?
Lusamine: Bitch, get the fuck outta here. You ain’t not putting me on no blast. This world is mine to play with, while you got yours.
Lillie: I see how it is. You’re giving in to Gamefreak’s demands of being a complete bitch so that you can suck Nihilego’s dick while his other one is penetrating your wormhole
Me: Jesus Christ, people, we have kids reading this shit.
Lusamine: Oh, Lillie, you ain’t not about to come into my paradise and run my business. I intend on staying here for life. I mean, you my daughter and all, but I got no room for your bitch ass.
Lillie: BULLSHIT! You ain’t not hot either, so what’s your point?
Lusamine: You calling me ugly?
Lillie: I ain’t calling you beautiful. Gladion and I ain’t no toys from a McDonalds Happy Meal. Pokemon like Nihilego aren’t objects either. I’m here to attempt to steal Nihilego away from you like I did with Cosmog, which by the way didn’t die, thank you very much. We niggas out here breathing and living. That’s why Dad left you for Poke Pelago because you a crazy ass hoe.
Lusamine: A ho? (omg, my daughter called me a hoe) But Dezyree? She has many more mons in her PCs
Me: Hey, don’t bring me into this, you know who’s taking care of those.
Lusamine: Oh. Okay, Lillie, you’re just as dangerous without having any sex. Dezyree, I will have to battle you just to defend Nihilego.
Me: That’s your mistake, lady. Be prepared to die again.
But Lusamine fused with Nihilego, plus all of her mons have aura surrounding them. This time it was Krystal vs Clefable, Sabrina vs Lilligant, Victoria vs Milotic, Free Hugs vs Mismagius, and Jason vs Bewear as Poli, I, Lillie, and Guzma ate popcorn
With all set and done, we busted the fusion and Lusamine falls down. Lillie ran to her and Lusamine became a loving mother again. We left the space to see Hapu and Mudsdale. Guzma placed Lusamine on Mudsdale and they left. Lillie and I stayed back to talk to Nebby again. Lillie knows what Nebby wants, but since she can’t provide it, I will be the one to step in.
Nebby, get in the ball, take 1: Quick Ball (fail)
Nebby, get in the ball, take 2: Ultra Ball (success). I named her Nebula, because Nebby is short for Nebula...
Finally Nanu came about and took us to the bottom on Mount Lanakila, where our main adventures end. With that, I will go ahead and take a few days off to train my mons (though at this point, they look ready but they all received new moves since the last training session so that they’ll be in tip top shape for Gladion, Hau, and the Elite 4 + Championship Battles

Tyler Toland and Katie McCabe goals start Euro qualifiers with a win
IRELAND have no coach — and Montenegro came and parked the bus.
But Tyler Toland and Katie McCabe, from the penalty spot, got the goals to get the Girls in Green motoring.
1
Katie McCabe celebrates her penalty for Ireland
A 2-0 win in Tallaght got Ireland’s European Championship qualification bid off to a winning start under interim boss Tom O’Connor.
The resignation of Colin Bell in late June put the team in limbo this summer ahead of a European campaign when there are high hopes of reaching the 2021 finals in England.
But if Bell’s departure hit the team, there was no sign of it last night as the only disappointment was that they did not wallop an ultra-negative Montenegro side.
Montenegro lost 9-0 to Ireland when they last made the visit to Tallaght.
PARK THE BUS
And they suffered a 10-0 defeat in their opening qualifier this time around against Germany on Saturday.
It was clear that their sole aim in Dublin last night was to keep the score down.
Mirko Maric’s team played a blanket defence that would make a conservative GAA manager blush, with his ten outfield players tightly stitched together on the edge of the Montenegrin area.
Naturally, it also resulted in a threadbare attack with Ireland goalkeeper Marie Hourihan having virtually nothing to do until a late shot from Sladjana Bulatovic that was straight at her.
But by then Ireland were two goals to the good and had three points in the bag.
They probably should have won by more but O’Connor said: “The objective was to win and a clean sheet.
“We probably thought they would open up and get a few goals, they were very dogged, very resilient.
“I’m not making any excuses. It was in the final third that our play let us down in relation to scoring more goals.”
DREAM START
The interim gaffer — who has applied for the role full time having been Bell’s assistant — saw his team get off to a dream start with Toland opening the scoring after just seven minutes.
Denise O’Sullivan found space outside the box and fed the Manchester City midfielder, who advanced before firing a low shot through a crowd and past goalkeeper Ivana Cabarkapa.
O’Connor added: “It was a good goal in Tyler. We were saying beforehand, if you don’t shoot, you don’t score.
“She has just signed for Man City. She’s only going to get better and better.”
Given Montenegro’s track record, more goals were expected for Ireland but as the night went on it proved rather frustrating.
Niamh Fahey was cruising through the game in front of the back four and starting attacks but the sheer number of opposing players back meant that most attacks came to nothing.
Claire O’Riordan headed one corner wide while skipper McCabe flashed a free-kick over before Louise Quinn had a shot cleared off the line.
Going in at half-time it would have been Montenegro who were the happier side — and they were losing and had showed absolutely no evidence that they could muster an attack, let alone a goal.
SPOT ON
Ireland did up the tempo after the break and it looked only a matter of time before the visitors would lay down their arms.
Instead, Darija Djukic lifted hers to block a McCabe shot on 69 minutes and referee Catarina Campos had no hesitation in pointing to the spot for the hand-ball.
McCabe stepped up herself and her shot was so accurate to the corner that Cabarkapa never moved.
From that moment on, there was no chance of a shock comeback.
Ireland could have added further goals. McCabe had a shot well saved by Cabarkapa, who then did well to block Rianna Jarrett’s follow-up.
Quinn had a header stopped before skipper McCabe turned a Heather Payne cross inches wide of the post late on.
So 2-0 it finished — not as big a win as it might have been but it was job done for Ireland, who are next in qualifying action at home to Ukraine next month.
They are already chasing Germany who have six points and a ridiculous goal difference of 18 after following up their rout of Montenegro with an 8-0 triumph in Ukraine.

Days 18 to 22 (May 14 to 18)
Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mums.  Having inadvertently staged our own mini-celebration for Heather’s Mother’s Day last week, we forgot all about it this time until half the day had gone and messages started coming in from the kids. Notwithstanding, we tried hard to celebrate it again.
We went to the Mindel Beach Market in the afternoon.  We arrived early because we had been advised that parking was a major issue, but it was pretty easy really.  We strolled around for a few hours and Heather bought a couple of small items.  It was reputed to have a wide selection of ethnic food outlets as well as some of the usual crafty stuff, but I didn’t feel that it quite lived up to its advertising. There were certainly lots of food outlets, but quite a few were simply replicating their neighbours and there was nothing really unusual at all.  Still, we indulged ourselves and what we had was quite tasty.  As the sun dropped toward the horizon, the crowds drifted from the Market down to the beach and at least a thousand or two ooh-ed and aah-ed and took thousands of photos as the light faded and the sea swallowed the burning globe. Actually, most people left before the sun was completely gone for some reason, leaving only a few hundred stalwart party people to dance the night away – and it looked like plenty of them had come well-prepared.  But once again……. what is with all the people standing in the water, or splashing and swimming, with all the crocodile (and poison box jelly-fish) warning signs about?
Next day, we went west – not on the recommendation of the Visitors Centre where such a direction seemed a little odd.  It was 100 or so kilometres to Dundee Beach, stopping a few times along the way to explore.  There was not a lot to see, but we sat under a shady tree and ate our sangers and had a cuppa overlooking the brand-new boat-ramp and the ancient Arafura Sea.  On the way back, we took a 50-odd kilometre detour north, up to the tip of the Cox Peninsula with Darwin on the horizon to the east.  It was getting late so we didn’t hang around there for long and retreated to a couple of coldies and the air conditioner in the caravan.
Quite a lot of the area we travelled through that day had been burned.  We have seen lots of fires as we have travelled in the NT.  During the Wet, the grass grows to more than three metres high (almost as high as a very tall elephant's eye) and there is a policy of fuel reduction burning up here.  People could easily get lost in the grass (a haven for all sorts of deadly snakes and other toothsome critters) so it is a very sensible policy in my view.  Actually, the grass is so dense, you probably couldn’t get far enough into it to get lost, but they have apparently have some big bushfires over the years and burning off reduces the risk of uncontrollable conflagrations.  For example, we were told that they burn the whole of Litchfield National Park every three years- one third each year and we saw plenty of fires there.  We have seen numerous very hot fires right up to the very edge of the road as well as extensive blackened areas, many where there are plenty of logs and dead trees still smoking and the raptors are circling looking for some freshly baked prey – or maybe just trying to find a place to roost without burning their tootsies.  We have not been inconvenienced at all by the fires.  There are ample signs warning of the risk of low visibility due to smoke, but despite seeing thick smoke in the distance, all we have experienced is a few wispy areas where the aroma of burning leaves is really lovely.  (Even when at home, we sometimes collect a few leaves and burn them of an evening just for the smell of the bush and we have enjoyed smelling that on a grander scale up here on lots of occasions.
Tuesday was FABULOUS.  When we were on Bruny Island in April, we shared a table at the Bowls Club with a couple whose daughter and SIL have a tourism business up here so I contacted them and said we were interested (even negotiated a ‘family discount’ on account of the ‘referral’ from Kelly’s Mum.)  The business is Adelaide River Tours, not to be confused with Adelaide River Cruises from whom they bought the business a couple of years ago. Very few people have heard of them and they are struggling a bit to get known, partly because the previous owner still operates and advertises his Jumping Croc Cruises that almost drown the airwaves up here.  He advertises very heavily and Kelly and Alex are still trying to gain market share. We think their all-day tours are hugely better than the hour-long Jumping Croc tours, but horses for courses.
We were picked up at the caravan park gate at 8.15 and eventually joined about 8 other people and were taken to Adelaide River where we boarded their boat and cruised up river for 30-40 kilometres.  We saw several crocodiles, one huge beast that investigated the boat quite closely for 10 minutes or so and we had to keep moving to avoid it getting too close.  We also saw one by the shore eating what I think was a large olive python – it was having some trouble getting it down.  Several of the crocs were relatively small, mainly 2-3 metres – and one cute little metre-long baby made a dash for the river right next to where I was in the boat.  He was out of the water and among the mangroves and we just made eye contact when he decided it was safer in the water – they can really run fast!!!  We had morning tea on the boat and lunch at the most amazing little private lease they have way up the river.  It is just 100 square metres or so, well out of the water, but set up with battery-operated fans, gas barbeques, tables and chairs, even a dunny they have set up.  A few of us went for short walks outside the leased area, but it was very hot and it was good to retreat to the relative cool of the shade in the shelter shed. They made us a barbecue, with lots of salads, fruit, cold drinks and a cuppa and we enjoyed an hour or so in the middle of nowhere.  Then back on board for more exploring and a coldie or two on Goat Island – a very rustic resort run by a grossly extroverted eccentric with a crazy sense of humour and a singing dog (he plays the harmonica and the dog barks along with him.) All very kitch – ultra-kitch really – but he has carved out a profitable business in the middle of the bush catering for tourists like us, runaways from Darwin’s Big Smoke and fishermen who get helicoptered in to the tiny pad hacked from the jungle behind the ‘motel’.
It was then a run for home, stopping once or twice to check out a sunbaking croc – one truly enormous reptile that stayed around long enough for us to all get plenty of pics – and then delivered back to the caravan at about 6.15.  It was a great day with interesting people – but only a few birds.
Wednesday seems a bit of a blur.  We went out around 10am to buy a new stabiliser leg for the van – the new one we had fitted before leaving home wouldn’t wind down, no matter how hard I hammered it.  I even pulled it completely apart and couldn’t get it to work.  Of course, the guy who sold us the new one gave ours one solid belt and it worked fine after then, so we are now carrying a spare stabiliser that will probably never get used.  I had to go to Medicare to sort out some issues we had in Alice Springs – and they were completely unhelpful, but we eventually resolved the issues ourselves (I hope).  We went to the ferry terminal to pay for a tour we had booked, did a little bit of grocery shopping and somehow it was then after 4.30 – and neither of us can figure out how the hours slipped away.  Maybe we had a nap during our travels but neither can remember that!  Darwin is a lot bigger (and a LOT more spread out) than I imagined so maybe we spend a few of those hours driving from one side of town to the other – but I think not.
Thursday was also a little bit lost to us – maybe we are getting the hang of this sort of lifestyle and an hour or three spent doing something we can’t recall next day is not a big deal.  I know we spent some time on our emails, paying bills, making phone calls and updating our blogs, and during the late afternoon, I went off on my own to the Botanical Gardens to try to spot some birds.  There were plenty there and I saw a few that we hadn’t seen before on this trip, but nothing quite new to us.  I didn’t see the pittas that they say are in the Gardens so that was a little disappointing – maybe I might need to make a return trip after next week and try to spot them allowing myself a bit more time to wander around. The gardens are quite extensive and definitely worth a visit.  They are divided into numerous ecological and geographical environments and I found them really interesting.
(Species count 143, including 16 new ticks since leaving home)
