JOB DESCRIPTION: Managing Director: Health Tech Hub
The Managing Director: Health Tech Hub is responsible for the successful leadership, management and execution of Springboard programs in support of scalable and market ready women-led digital health companies.

We are a global expert network comprised of innovators, investors and influencers that includes the founders of Zipcar, Constant Contact, iRobot and Minute Clinic.
SPRINGBOARD PROGRAMS
Springboard produces several programs with the engagement of our sponsors and partners:
Corporate Meetings: Presentation sessions targeting the Partner’s specific areas of interest that are followed by a discussion between the entrepreneurs and corporate executives.
Industry Workshops: Multi-day industry-specific programs featuring roundtable discussions and presentations designed to connect participating entrepreneurs with peers and experts in the space.
Industry Accelerators: Springboard’s signature programs providing a select group of early stage companies advisory support and connections as they seek resources for their next stage of growth. The engagement with Springboard for the participating women entrepreneurs in our industry accelerators is evergreen.
Sponsored Accelerators: Custom accelerator programs featuring companies in the Partner’s areas of interest, including a period of advisory support and sessions hosted by the Partner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
PROGRAMS
For any Springboard programs in the digital health space:
Raise sponsorships, including cash and in-kind support (i.e. venues, catering and other cash outlays)
Develop and manage program timelines, materials, and communication with stakeholders
Manage ongoing engagement and communication with sponsors
Form and manage program executive committees
Recruit program candidates
Manage the selection of program participants
Plan, execute, and recruit experts to participate in in-person program sessions, including Candidate Interviews, Bootcamp programs, and Presentation Sessions held at various times throughout the year
Manage the advisory process
Manage work product and deliverables of all vendors (photographers, videographers, PR firms, printers etc.)
Debrief program participants, sponsors, and other key program stakeholders post-program
In 2019, among other programs Springboard will produce an Industry Accelerator program in Women’s Health
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain personal relationships and serve as a source of ongoing support for Springboard alumnae in the healthcare space
Represent the organization at industry activities, as appropriate (e.g. JPM Healthcare Conference, HIMSS, Health Evolution, Venture Connect)
Manage relationships with Springboard advisors in healthcare space and expand the council with new advisors in this space
Develop a long-term strategy to expand into areas within the digital health space that align with our mission and market trends
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 8+ years of relevant professional experience
Self-starter with a keen attention to detail, the ability to communicate professionally, externally/internally, & ability to execute.
This position is not for those who shy away from a challenge or prefer to operate within a structured environment; it demands someone who is ready from day one to dive in, learn the ropes, take on significant responsibility and produce successful programs that yield tangible results for the participants. A great respect for the importance of communication is essential.
Must be flexible, creative, team oriented and comfortable with using technology. Having the problem-solving gene is a must.
COMPENSATION
Compensation is comparable to other small non-profits and will match level of experience.
