(Unseelie) Faerie Court Twisted Fate skin concept
My take on what the Unseelie court might look like. I hope we’ll get some dark/goth faeries too and it’s not gonna end up looking too similar to the Seelies :)

Are there any worlds or Disney stories that you would have liked to see in Dark Road? Or any headcanons for worlds Xehanort went to (after the main story)?
I think Castle of Dreams would have been a really great world for a Vor and Vidar side-story.
Why Castle of Dreams? For one, all the Disney worlds in KHDR are reused from KHUX. Realistically, that's the only pool you can draw from when thinking about Disney worlds that "could have been", because otherwise the artists on the game would've had to make completely new assets and, well, KHDR is pretty much KHUX Reused Assets: The Video Game. All the KHUX Disney worlds not featured in KHDR would work fine in the game apart from Wreck-it-Ralph since it's a special world.
Actually, I just realized Castle of Dreams is the only non-WiR Disney world from KHUX that didn't make it into KHDR. So I guess Castle of Dreams is the only reasonable choice, lol.
Two, I feel like Castle of Dreams would work well thematically with Vor and Vidar in a variety of ways. Though I don't know if I'll ever finish that fic with them I wanted to make (probably not), perhaps I'll try to create short comics of some small moments I had in mind for them instead. I can better talk about and illustrate my ideas for this world then.
As for Xehanort post-KHDR, I'd probably be more willing to draw from non-KHUX worlds since KHDR doesn't really cover that time period much, anyway. I can just imagine this theoretical KHDR sequel in my mind that doesn't rely so heavily on reused assets. Xehanort's conversation with the MoM suggests that he must've seen some pretty messed up stuff involving darkness on his "world tour", so I'd probably go for Disney properties that are like...a bit darker or more tragic than Disney's usual fare? Stuff that you'd look at and go, "Yeah, makes sense why Xehanort ended up like this."
The question then becomes, what properties? Maybe stuff like:
Bambi: Xehanort's relationship (or lack thereof) to his mother could make witnessing Bambi's mother die to hunters be pretty upsetting. Much like Xehanort, Bambi was also the descendant of a noble bloodline and was expected to do great things when he was older.
The Fox and the Hound: Involves two unlikely friends becoming each other's enemies because of who they are and what they're expected to be, so that could remind him of his relationship with Eraqus, and make him question what the future has in store for them (and Xehanort does call Eraqus a "sly fox" on multiple ocassions).
Hunchback of Notre Dame: We've only ever seen it as a Sleeping World, so we have no idea when exactly the movie's plot occurs during the course of the Kingdom Hearts series. There are plenty of comparisons to draw between Xehanort and Quasi: tragically separated from their mother, raised by someone else, forced to live in isolation away from people and the greater world, has "imaginary" friends, desires freedom, is made to feel like an outcast, etc. Quasi could make Xehanort reflect on his childhood in Destiny Islands and Scala, but in a far more negative light that ends up tainting his perception of it.
Thanks for the interesting question, Starlight!

Of the popular Carmine interpretations (and carmine and kieran relationship interpretations) ive seen, none of them vibe quiteee right with me, so here's mine.
carmine is not a good sister to Kieran but she’s also not a bad person. not because she's not trying to be a good sis or because she doesn't like him, etc etc, but because they're at a point rn where they dont mesh right, and no one is stepping in to mediate or help them. Like the fact is Carmine Is an angry and abrasive person, who truly does care about her village and the people she cares about. She does love Kieran and Kieran does love her, and I think they both know that. But the way she treated Kieran Did contribute to his self doubt issues. Carmine and Kieran’s relationship Isn’t Healthy! But fuck, it’s not beyond repair. There’s still love there, there’s a future they can have. Being around a person who constantly and consistently gets angry, esp if that person is someone in power over u (like ur older sister) fucks a guy up! Even when you know that person loves you especially if you know they love you!
Carmine is an angry person and you know what sometimes people are like that! But look at them… I think they reached a point where Carmine shooing Kieran off was seen as just… Fine with everyone involved, because “(she) didn’t hit him or anything”. She's not lashing out at him trying to be awful she's not trying to hurt him.
Who’s giving Carmine a proper outlet? She’s got battle, is that helping anything? Her primary Pokémon is Morpeko, the Pokemon that switches between angry and happy. Does that make one side any less real than the other? Does being angry mean she’s not really loving? Does being loving mean she’s not really angry? Does loving Kieran mean she didn’t hurt him?
You’re a teen, and you’re angry. Over all sorts of things, some little and some large, but it doesn’t really matter as much as the fact that She’s Angry. It doesn’t matter why. It's not something you can help, you can put on a nice face, but you're still upset about things, and you should be! What do you do about it? You can't bottle it up. You’ll break, and you're bad at it anyway. Get mad at your teachers? Get in trouble. Get mad at your grandparents? Get in trouble. There’s no place safe to Feel Angry, but you Have to FEEL you can’t help it! You can’t help it. So you let yourself get a little angry at your brother, cause he doesn’t mind. You're still holding back, anyhow. He knows you still love him. He knows. He has to know right? It’s not that you dislike him, he just gets you so mad sometimes and- you still love him. You’re just bad at showing it, but he’s always stood up for you, you hear it even though he tries to keep it quiet. And maybe your brother's a little quiet and a little nervous, but he's always like that. it's fine. Things are fine.
You're a teen, and your sister keeps getting angry at you. And you hardly did anything wrong, but you're never quite enough. Not with her, not with school, not with any kind of "friends" (which you don't have). Cause your sister is so so strong and you really do look up to her, so much, even if she gets mad at you, cause you know she cares you know that. But maybe if you were stronger, she wouldn’t get so upset with you… Part of you knows that isn't true. Part of you starts to believe it anyway. You're used to this, and it's not awful so... it must be fine. It's fine.
And you're brother and sister, outcasts in your own town, so if you squabble a bit, it’s normal right? That’s fine. It’s not broken enough to fix, and everything wears away and away till it breaks. But they were outcasts anyway, troublemakers anyway, it was inevitable anyway, so there's no point doing anything. It's not really a problem, not to anyone Outside their bubble so.
Things are fine.

The Siege I, Pt. 2
So, things start going from bad to worse and this continues to the very end of the episode. We obviously get to see no scene where they say good-bye before McKay takes off on his mission because a) that's just not something John Sheppard is willing to do under any circumstances (see end of next episode) and b) Sheppard himself is responsible for the fact that the whole place is crawling with marines so they would have precious little chances to have any private moments anyway, other than those "better than our current quarters" of theirs. But this episode actually has a reason to keep them separated unlike many of the other episodes of the season, it's a very important plot point that leads us into the finale. We are lulled into a false sense of disconnection between their story threads until they come crashing together at the end.
So, even before McKay has taken off Sheppard has joined Teyla in the infirmary where she seems to have been ever since the previous episode. This means that for McKay to have been able to get the scoop from her he has either had to have visited her there, which he certainly could have done, or have heard everything from Sheppard, which is much more likely. For Teyla to even have known what a LaGrange point satellite is he has to have discussed it with one of them. Also, when Sheppard says that he thought McKay said it was dead he certainly could have referred back all the way to The Defiant One (S01E11) but it is also possible he referenced a more recent discussion the two of them had had about the topic.
Tumblr media
Sheppard and Beckett are standing on the opposite sides of Teyla's hospital bed while she sits up on it, Beckett with his hands in his pockets where Sheppard seems to be standing at attention. While Sheppard is facing them head on, they are both angled away from him. Sheppard is standing strangely close to the bed and it seems to have very little to do with Teyla or Beckett. The only motivation I can come up for why he is standing like this is that he had just had another conversation at a similar setting, standing on the opposite sides of a bed, with someone else, somewhere else.
We don't see them do it this time but we will see them do it in the future:
Tumblr media
Now, usually Sheppard doesn't want anything between himself and McKay but clearly having that bed between them makes it easier to have a heavy emotional moment. Safer. Creates an emotional buffer. These scenes of Sheppard standing by the bed facing someone on the other side are connected in that Sheppard's final words in the scene in Outcast (S04E15) are "Rodney. I'm fine." Whereas here:
Teyla: I am fine. Sheppard: I'm looking for something a little more enthusiastic than 'fine'. Teyla: I am ready to be put back on active duty. Sheppard: I'm sure you think so but... Teyla: Tell him I am fine. Beckett: She is, Major. I see no further reason she should be kept here under medical supervision. Sheppard: Alright. You're back on active duty.
Tumblr media
And just like that, he lets her resume her duties. Not having a reason to be kept under medical supervision and being back on active duty are worlds apart but arguing this over with her is not a top priority for him right now. Besides, they could use all the hands that they have available.
So, with the scene in the hospital we may get somewhat of a glimpse at what a possible private scene between Sheppard and McKay might have looked like. And we get more information in the following scene with McKay has Zelenka elsewhere at this same exact time, only with them we get some of the dialogue, what it might have sounded like. We find McKay packing up in his lab where Zelenka offers to go on the mission on his behalf:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
McKay: OK, I think I can handle this alone, Radek. Isn't there something better you could be doing? Zelenka: I think I should go. McKay: Yes, I agree--go. Zelenka: I mean on the mission.
While McKay undoubtedly was less abrasive in his conversation with Sheppard (as he was during his presentation), you could see that Sheppard had still not made up his mind about whether or not to go with him when they left the meeting. So if within these scenes we get any insight as to what might have happened between McKay and Sheppard that we didn't get to see, based on this it would seem that McKay is the one who finally talked him out of going with him. Where Zelenka offers to go on behalf of McKay, Sheppard very likely would have insisted that he go instead of Miller.
Tumblr media
McKay: Why? Zelenka: Sure, you probably know a little bit more about the satellite than I do... McKay: Generous of you! Zelenka: ...but you know a lot more about the city than I do.McKay: OK, I think I see where this is going now. Zelenka: If, for whatever reason, there is problem there, it should be me, not you. McKay: There's not gonna be a problem. Zelenka: Rodney, you don't know that.
Sheppard is the best pilot they have. Sure, Miller will be able to get them there and bring them back but if there should be a problem--and this is the wraith they are talking about, this is far from a routine mission--he should be the one to be there. Also, while Sheppard may be of some limited use on the mission he is direly needed on Atlantis for a number of functions. He also is invaluable everywhere.
Their exchange gets even more interesting then:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
McKay: If it seems like we can't fix it, we'll just turn round and come back. Now I realize I am invaluable everywhere... Zelenka: You know what? Forget about it. I take it back. McKay: Sorry... Zelenka: No! McKay: ...you can't take it back because you've just admitted that I am smarter than you are! Zelenka: I admitted no such thing! McKay: It was hard for you to say but the truth shone through and you were compelled to speak!
Tumblr media
Now, we don't know what Sheppard told him, if indeed they did have a similar conversation prior to this scene between McKay and Zelenka. It probably wasn't 'The L-word' because there's a similar scene at the end of Tao of Rodney (S03E14) where McKay is messing with Weir. In an earlier scene in the episode, we did get a confession of love from Sheppard to McKay (that part about a way a friend feels about another friend was meant for everyone else to hear, and they both know it).
So it follows that the scene between Weir and McKay is actually meant to tell us something about what happened with McKay and Sheppard afterward that we again didn't get to see because it feels really weird between the two of them but would have seemed pretty natural happening between McKay and Sheppard. Between the two of them, the scene would make sense. Between him and Weir, not so much. The exchange that resembles McKay's exchange with Zelenka here goes:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
McKay: You know what? I am very happy with who I am. And you love me. Weir (/Sheppard): What?! I never-- McKay: You so did! Yeah, I may not be able to understand this new math I created, but I distinctly remember that you said you love me. Weir (/Sheppard): Actually, I said we love you and... McKay: And, what? What, you were just saying that because you thought I was dying? Weir (/Sheppard): No, I said it because-- McKay: See?! You love me! It's true--you've said it, now I know. I always suspected it. In fact, you know what? I've always noticed that there's been an indefinable and yet magical chemistry between us... that I think I covered in Chapter ten. Weir (/Sheppard): Rodney... McKay: You had lunch yet? Weir (/Sheppard): Yes. McKay: Mid-afternoon snack, then? Weir (/Sheppard): I'll keep you company.
Now, this scene is weird because Weir has no reason to walk back what she said in the infirmary when McKay was dying and there has never been an iota of romantic interests between them. They are just friends and they both know it, there's no gray area anywhere. Whereas it is so easy to imagine the same conversation taking place between Sheppard and McKay, McKay messing with him but then letting him off the hook because he knows stuff like that is not easy for him. In fact, we have never seen McKay ask Weir to eat with him before or after this moment whereas we have multiple scenes where McKay asks Sheppard to have dinner with him. They eat together frequently. So the point of this scene is to show us what happened that we didn't get to see. And this is very similar to what happens here between McKay and Zelenka.
So, did Sheppard and McKay also shake hands like McKay and Zelenka do or did they do something else? I think they did shake hands. The way McKay and Zelenka shake hands here is awkward enough. But we have a scene in The Prodigal (S05E14), another not-good-bye between them, where McKay offers his hand to Sheppard for a handshake. The situation is not dissimilar to this, as Sheppard is about to do something potentially very dangerous. And, well. McKay knows he doesn't do good-byes. He knows he's not good with, what do you call them, feelings. He's especially terrible at expressing them. Also, getting emotional on the cusp of having to do something that requires all of your concentration is not good strategy anyway. So instead of talking about emotions, McKay offers Sheppard his hand:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sheppard: What? McKay: Well, it's just... what you're about to do is... Sheppard: Yeah. Well, it's not like it's the first time. How many suicide missions have I flown? McKay: I don't know. I lost count. Sheppard: Right, well. There you go. McKay: All right. Well, you know... here's to many more.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Only, they don't shake hands. They... hold hands. It goes on a beat too long for it to be a handshake between good friends. They are lost in each other's eyes. And then, they are interrupted by Zelenka which makes them disconnect. Zelenka's voice breaks the spell. And the fact that it is Zelenka that interrupts them connects that scene to this one. So yes, I think they did shake hands over that bed there safely between them. And it is because of the earlier handshake that had probably gone on too long for it to be considered a handshake anymore that McKay is awkward here, doing this with Zelenka. The fact that he is offering up his hand at all may have resulted from what had happened earlier. What they shared in that moment resonates with the both of them in such a way as to have these aftereffects, the scene we didn't get to see informs both Sheppard and McKay's behaviour in these moments that came directly after with other people.
Also, McKay says "Keep an eye on my city while I'm gone" which is rather poetic in the sense that the city itself often seems to reflect what is going on with Sheppard, is like a manifestation of his inner landscape. McKay is telling Zelenka to take care of Sheppard for him, not in so many words. And you better believe Sheppard had some words of advice for Miller before they took off because Miller acts extremely respectfully towards McKay which is unusual for people who spend any amount of time with him in a small closed space.
Tumblr media
So, what happened during this scene we didn't get to see? The thing that Sheppard may have accidentally let slip is either that he's going to miss McKay, he cares about McKay, or that he needs McKay. All of that he feels for him anyway.
It's Zelenka hand-gesture indicating that McKay has a small dick ("You are a miserable little man!"; he means to say that McKay is petty but the gesture he makes is a universal sign for small dick and McKay is once more completely unfazed by this)--when we've just had a reference to his not-small dick that Sheppard didn't approve of in the previous episode--that makes me think that need was the thing Sheppard let slip, especially since need has two meanings.
Tumblr media
So it might have been something like:
Sheppard: If, for whatever reason, there is problem there, it should be me, not him. McKay: There's not gonna be a problem. Sheppard: Rodney, you don't know that. McKay: If it seems like we can't fix it, we'll just turn round and come back. Now I realize I'm needed everywhere... Sheppard: You know what? Forget about it. I take it back. McKay: Sorry... Sheppard: No! McKay: ... you can't take it back because you've just admitted that you need me! Sheppard: I admitted no such thing! McKay: It was hard for you to say but the truth shone through and you were compelled to speak! Sheppard: The only thing I need is that big D of yours! McKay: Hey-hey-hey-hey-hey, let's not ruin the moment here, huh? Now... keep an eye on my city for me while I'm gone. Sheppard: Good luck.

The cut comes from a cutlass. The pirates that attack their ship on the Sea of the Outcast are wily, Rayla will admit—wily enough to get the better of her and land a hit on her arm but certainly not wily enough to get away with it. It's a tricky fight, but they manage. Tidebound advantage or not, Callum is too skilled a mage, and Rayla too skilled an assassin, and Soren too skilled a Crownguard to let them get far. In the aftermath of it, the deck is a mess and everyone's a little battered, but it's nothing they can't handle, and Rayla quietly, surreptitiously, hides the cut on her arm because they've got enough to deal with at the moment without another injury to add to the list.
(It's nothing to worry about anyway, just a scratch, and in any case, she doesn't know why Callum—why anyone—would care).
In hindsight, she should have just said something. The fever that's starting can't mean anything good.
"Hey, are you okay?" That's Callum. Typical Callum. Always worrying over her which is exactly why she'd kept her mouth shut.
"'M fine," says Rayla, but she stumbles over her own feet as her vision starts to narrow. It's so cold. It's supposed to be Summer.
"You don't look fine."
"Shows what you know," she mutters stupidly. "This is how I normally look."
Callum frowns at her. "You don't normally look like you're about to pass out," he says sharply. "C'mere." He catches her hand before she can protest and Rayla yelps, pain flaring up her arm. Callum's frown only grows sterner, and he yanks up her sleeve and scowls at the shoddy patch job she'd done on her arm. "Rayla, what the hell?"
"It's only a scratch," says Rayla, although her voice sounds whiny and weak in her ears. "Just leave it, I'm fine."
"Are you serious?"
"Seriously." Rayla tries to grin to prove it, but her knees buckle beneath her and the world spins out.
*
She wakes later to Callum, rolls of bandages in hand, sullen scowl pulling downwards at his lips. She's still shivering, even with her outerwear stripped off, even with Callum's wind dome whirling around them to bring her temperature down. Vaguely, she notices Ezran, Zym, and Soren standing over her, worried frowns on their faces, but it's Callum she zeroes in on.
"You're not fine," he snaps.
"I'm mostly fine."
"Rayla."
Rayla ducks her head shamefully. "I'm a little not fine." Then, queitly, she adds, "I just didn't want you to worry."
"Well, I'm worried now," grumbles Callum. "You have to stop doing this."
"Doing what?"
"Acting like you don't matter. You do matter. You matter to me."
A pause. Rayla blinks blearily at him, unsure if he's really looking at her like that or if it's just her fever-addled brain. There's so much in his face: so much anger, so much concern, so much... She's too afraid to say love.
She hesitates. "You still..."
"I still what?"
Rayla swallows. She looks away. "You still care about me."
Callum pauses, his eyes hard but still somehow affectionate, the truth more obvious there than in anywhere else. "Yeah," he says. "I do."

For the send a faceclaim and fandom ask game: Chloé Hayden + Glee or The Wizarding World, please??
@dancingsunflowers-ocs ✨💛✨
Ooooh, Chloe Hayden in the Wizarding World is such a thought... thanks so much, Alexandra!! <3
Tumblr media
NAME: Hecate Lovegood.
LOVE INTEREST: Fred Weasley.
SUMMARY: It didn't take a genius to see that both of the Lovegood sisters were odd - everyone in Hogwarts knew that within about a month of being there. But Hecate, the older sister, was the one who had been diagnosed with what the Muggles called "autism," so she tended to be even more of an outcast than her little sister. Not outright mocked (at least not by anyone who wasn't in Slytherin) nor shoved around, Hecate was simply ignored and steered away from by most of Hogwarts' population, which was just fine with her - the Gryffindor girl was content to sit by herself crafting jewelry with the magical supplies her father always sent her in the mail, lost in her own little world and wearing charmed earplugs to keep out everyone else's noise. Not even the Weasley twins, friends to everyone in Hogwarts who doesn't wear a green and silver tie, have really made an effort to speak to Hecate - until she lies to Professor Snape to get them out of trouble for a prank, and they impulsively decide to make her their friend. All of a sudden, Hecate is more socially involved with her fellow students than she's ever been, people even want to buy her jewelry, and Fred Weasley has started looking at her in a way that makes her feel warm inside... and despite not being used to any of this, she certainly doesn't hate it.
OTHER INFO:
Hecate is semi-verbal, so she doesn't always talk when spoken to and can't talk at all when she's overwhelmed, but she still manages to be witty and even kind of sassy.
It isn't ableism that makes most of Hogwarts ignore her - things like autism and ADHD are readily accepted in magical society - but the Lovegoods already have a reputation as weirdos and Hecate never really talks to anyone anyway, so everyone just didn't talk to her right back until she becomes friends with the twins.
When the twins start promoting Weasley's Wizard Wheezes and selling their products around school, Hecate starts selling her magical jewelry as well, which is a big hit with a lot of students.
She stays at Hogwarts after the twins quit during Umbridge's reign, but after she graduates the twins offer her a section of their shop to sell her jewelry, and she and Fred start dating soon after that.
The entire Weasley family adores her (George especially, since they're besties), and when she and Fred get married (because obviously he doesn't die, what do you take me for?), Ginny is one of her bridesmaids.
send me a fandom + faceclaim and i'll create an oc!!

Hi! I'm looking for books like The Lady Gets Lucky where the heroine wants the hero to teach or help her seduce/attract the attention of someone else, do you happen to have any good recs for this? Thank you!
Yep!
How to Marry a Marquess by Stacy Reid. The heroine is actually trying to attract the attention of the hero, to be fair, but she tells him she's looking for someone else with the idea that if it doesn't work, she can get someone else's attention. He doesn't want to make a move (they're longtime friends) because he's a scandal due to his recognition and raising of his illegitimate child, and he thinks the heroine won't be able to handle being an outcast with him.
Beauty Tempts the Beast by Lorraine Heath. The heroine's a fine lady whose family is in disgrace, and she figures the only way she can get cash is by becoming a courtesan. She offers the hero a trade: if she teaches the women in this brothel he accidentally owns how to be ladies (so that he doesn't have to own the brothel anymore lmao, he's very dear) he'll teach her how to be a seductress.
In Want of a Viscount by Lorraine Heath. This isn't like, exactly what this trope is, but it's pretty close. The heroine is an American businesswoman who's not interested in marriage, but her mom really wants her to marriage into a title. The hero ends up teaching her how to Do Things, in part because she figures she won't get that kind of thing with anyone else.
When the Duke Was Wicked by Lorraine Heath. Again a variation, but pretty close, and this is one of my "if y'all wanna see how a real man would do the P*lin s3 plot" books. I mean, the heroine is even a redhead... Anyway, she and the hero have been family friends for forever, he's a doooooggggg, and she's definitely in love with him but knows he's a dog. She has a massive dowry, so lots of men are after her, but she doesn't know how to recognize a truly good dude. So he agrees to help her, which leads to him teaching her things a "man who truly loves you" would do. Most of those things are dirty!
Variations where the heroine teaches the hero:
Hotel of Secrets by Diana Biller. The heroine is experienced and the hero is a virgin, and she ends up giving him... lessons.
The Mistress Experience by Scarlett Peckham. This one isn't out until 6/25, but put it on your TBR because it's AMAZING. The hero isn't a virgin, but he is very inexperienced, and he hires the courtesan heroine to stay with him for a month and teach him how to please a woman so that his future wife has a good time.
If you're up for a contemporary take, read:
A Holly Jolly Ever After by Sierra Simone and Julie Murphy. The heroine is fresh off a divorce from a husband who never... got her there, and she's super bummed out. She's going to be in this racy Christmas movie (go with it) with the hero, who's become infamous for this tape that leaked which suggests that he certainly doesn't have the issue her husband had. He ends up teaching her how to be comfortable with her sexuality so that she can have a healthy relationship.... obviously with someone else.... SO HOT.

Bedrock bros it is then
You gave me a writing prompt so I’m going to give this my best shot because I am far from any good at this. I am so sorry it got long. Seriously I have no idea how to do this 🙃
Tommy is a Runaway (bad situation, orphan, street kid tis up to you!) and somehow finds himself outcast and alone in the enchanted forest. (Please if you can think of a better name use it T-T)
Everyone knows the forest is a Death trap at night but with no where to go and the sun fading fast, Tommy makes his way into the forest hoping to find some kind of shelter before nightfall.
He’d heard stories that a Giant lived in the forest and liked to stalk the few unlucky souls who were in the forest at night like mere prey and he hoped that that’s all they were, just stories. But it’s hard to tell yourself that when you feel like there’s eyes on you from every direction.
At the feeling of being watched Tommy tries to hide hoping that whatever was following him would just leave him alone! If the stories were true then he did not want to meet any giants. Especially knowing if he did, he’d probably never see the next sunrise….
Technoblade often enjoyed going out for walks in the darkness of night. It felt good after a long day of work working the fields of his potato farm and found the serenity of nighttime suited him better then walking during the day. Less opportunities that he could run into a human. They weren’t particularly fond of him to say the least even though those feelings were mutual.
Most humans didn’t dare come into his forest at night anyways. Not after the “stories” that had spread from sightings of him chasing humans out of his forest. They seemed to think he enjoyed having them in his forest so it was for the best that they used the fear of the stories to stay clear.
So why had he smelled the scent of human nearby? Not just a human but a scrawny little one looking half starved and shivering looking for shelter in his Forest at nightfall?
I gave you a prompt and now it's my time to repay it. Merry Christmas Becky!! I hope you enjoy reading your Christmas gift!!
I couldn't come up with a better name QwQ
My Instincts Adopted you So Who am I to Deny Them?
Warning(s): Safe vore, mentions of hard vore, fearplay (Tell me if I need to add more warnings, thank you!!)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It isn't the first time Tommy was in a foster home, certainly won't be the last.
At birth, he never got to know what his parents looked like since from what one of the orphanage workers told him, he was an infant when he was at the orphanage's doorstep.
Tommy doesn't care about his birth parents, he only cares if he will survive.
There was a knock on the door.
"Tommy, you awake?"
A voice, it was his social worker's voice.
"Yeah, I'm awake. Just laying in my bed."
Tommy said, he honestly wasn't looking for anything exciting to do for today. He was looking for what he hoped was a relaxing day.
"May I come in?"
"Sure, you can come in."
The door opens, revealing his social worker.
His social worker's name was Puffy, not that he didn't care to know her name.
"Good morning Tommy, have you slept well?"
"Slept fine, I guess."
Puffy nodded.
"Well, I have good news for you."
Tommy sighed, those good news only meant one thing.
"I found another family that would love to look after you and maybe adopt you."
Yep, Tommy was right.
"The adopting part is way too far for it to happen, Ms. Puffy, and even you know this."
"You never know unless you give it chance Tommy."
"I've given the other homes chances, and none of those worked before, so why would this one work while the other ones failed?"
"Tommy, please, do it for me?"
Tommy looked down, then deeply sighed.
"Fine, but I'm only doing it for you."
Ms. Puffy smiled.
Tommy had a bad feeling about this.
~~~~~~
Tommy was running.
He knew shouldn't have given the foster home that he is currently in a chance.
And yet, he did, because Ms. Puffy asked him to.
He can't hear footsteps behind him but he can't give up, he needs to keep running.
Tommy doesn't notice this, but he runs into the forbidden forest.
After running for too long, Tommy trips and falls.
His lungs that were begging for air were greedily taking it now that he wasn't running anymore.
He looks around his surroundings, he then realizes that he is in The Enchanted Glade forest.
Tommy felt fear rush through his entire body.
He then quickly looks at the sky, then his heart drops.
The sun was setting.
And he needed a place to hide, to be sheltered.
Now you might be asking, why would Tommy need to find shelter now? Can't he just sleep on the ground?
Well, there's a reason why The Enchanted Glade is forbidden to enter.
Tommy has heard rumors about a giant living in the forest, and that it likes to stalk its prey, the giant only comes out at night.
Tommy tries to calm himself down.
He just needs to hurry it up because the sun was setting fast, and he didn't know how much longer it would be before night appears.
Tommy gets up from his spot and starts walking around.
As he walked around the forest, he started to shiver, he felt like he had eyes on him.
He looked around, trying to see what was looking at him.
For a moment, the eyes were gone, but once he stopping looking around, they came back.
"C'mon Tommy, those stories are just stories, rumors, they shouldn't be real anyway."
Tommy continued to try and convince himself that there was't anything to be afraid of, and that the rumors were just fake stories.
But it was harder and harder for him to be convinced when the eyes continued to look at him.
Tommy was now starting to feel sweat running down, he couldn't take the feeling of being watched anymore.
He needed to hide.
He started to speed walk, trying to hurry and hide somewhere.
He kept on speed walking, slightly speeding up every time the eyes wouldn't leave him alone.
He then starts sprinting, feeling too scared from the eyes watching him.
And to his relief, he finds a hiding spot.
He quickly, but quietly, hides there.
For a second, the eyes linger, but after a few more seconds, they disappear.
He quietly sighs in relief.
If the rumors about a giant actually living in the forest, then he doesn't want to ever see or meet the giant.
And Tommy doesn't know if he will ever see the next sunrise.
~~~~~~
Techno was quite feeling peaceful tonight.
It was one of those nights again.
Nights that were quiet, almost deadly quiet, but, sometimes those deadly quiet nights could bring some peace.
After a long day of work, farming potatoes in his potato farm, he felt like he needed to take a walk around the forest.
Plus, he liked it better when he could walk at night, better than dealing with humans in the daytime.
Look, he wasn't exactly fond of humans, and humans weren't fond of him, so things were mutual with how they both felt about each other.
And it was for the better for him and the humans to stay far from each other.
He was a bit glad that barely any humans went inside the forest.
Well, barely any of them don't enter his forest because of the "stories" of him being seen chasing humans out of the forest.
In all honestly, he didn't want them thinking that he enjoyed having them in his forest, so he resulted in scaring them out of his forest.
He may not like it, but, if scaring humans was the only way to drive them out of his forest, and having them use that fear in the stories, then so be it.
Techno was feeling like tonight was going to be a good night to walk around his forest.
So far, there haven't been any humans in his forest for like a year now.
As Techno kept walking, his nose picked up a scent.
It wasn't just a random animal's scent.
It was a human's scent.
Techno sighed, didn't even last a year before another human decided to enter his forest.
He decided to follow the scent to see who was the foolish human to enter his forest.
He quietly walks around the forest, following the scent.
Once the scent gets stronger, Techno starts to think of ways of chasing the human out of his forest.
Once he got to the area where the scent was the strongest, he stopped and looked around the floor.
Once Techno sees the human who was in his forest, he freezes.
This isn't some ordinary adult human, it was a young human.
"Why is there a youngling in my forest?" Techno thought, he was rather more confused than frustrated.
Techno had decided that he would follow the youngling, as he was rather curious.
He stopped walking and hid a bit when the youngling stopped walking and looked around.
"Must be feeling that he is being watched." Techno thought to himself again.
He waited a bit before looking at the youngling once again.
Techno was a bit relieved that the youngling wasn't looking anymore.
"C'mon Tommy, those stories are just stories, rumors, they shouldn't be real anyway."
"So the younglings name is Tommy, interesting." Techno thought.
Techno started following the youngling again after Tommy starts to walk again.
He could tell that Tommy was starting to walk a bit more faster than normal.
Techno wasn't surprised that the youngling started to sprint.
He mentally sighed, then shook his head.
It only takes a moment before Techno looks around the area, trying to find his the youngling again.
His heart starts to race when he doesn't see any sign of Tommy being around the area.
Techno walks out of his hiding place and keeps on looking around in the open.
"Shit.." Techno muttered, he just looked away for a few seconds. He didn't mean to lose sight of the youngling.
Now Techno was starting to panic, he just managed to lose sight of his youngling, only his Tommy.
He didn't notice that by panicking, his panic was just causing Tommy, who was still hiding, to start panicking a little bit.
But Techno didn't know that.
~~~~~~
Tommy was now panicking a little.
Not only because the giant that was in the forest that Tommy was in real, but the giant was also looking around, in a panicked way.
The giant was stomping around, making the ground shake a lot, which was making Tommy dizzy.
Tommy knew that at one point, he would have to move to another hiding place without getting detected.
He could wait until the giant stopped shaking the ground so much, making Tommy have a clear view.
But he could go now and get out of his hiding spot while the giant was blinded by panic to notice Tommy.
Tommy decided on the second option.
He slowly got out of the bush that he was hiding in.
Tommy was almost out of the bush when he fell.
He had to hold in a yelp, which he almost let out if it wasn't for the situation that he was in.
He quietly stood up, careful not to make any sound, but with the ground shaking, it was hard to not make any noise.
Tommy was too busy trying to get out of the area quietly, that he didn't even see anything that could make noise on the ground.
Snap
Tommy froze.
He felt his blood run cold, he felt like he couldn't breathe, he felt that his heart was pounding so hard against his chest, he felt that everything felt cold.
But the worst part...
The shaking stopped...
And the eyes returned...
Tommy didn't want to turn around, because he knew, he knew that the giant was right behind him, looking at him.
Tommy then felt its body heat, so he assumed that the giant was way too close for Tommy's comfort.
"Youngling, please, turn around." The giant spoke.
The deep voice that the giant somehow has sends shivers down Tommy's spine.
Tommy didn't even move an inch, not that he wanted to, there was just so much fear flowing through his body.
It seemed as if Tommy wasn't given a choice because the giant then grabbed his tiny body.
Tommy was now face to face with the giant.
His heart was full on pounding against his chest, his breathing was uneven, all he felt was fear coursing through his entire body.
"You look even more young than I imagined."
....
What?
"I said that you look even more young than I imagined."
"Must have said that out loud." Tommy thought.
"Could you please put me down?"
"No, you would try to escape me again and I don't want to let go of you yet."
"I mean..yeah, no doubt I would try to escape you again. But I have my reasons!!"
"I don't doubt that. However, I'm quite curious about why you're in my forest."
"...I plead the fifth."
"I don't know what that means so I'm going to ignore it since your laws have no meaning to me."
"Right."
There was an awkward silence in the air.
"You know, I'm still waiting for that answer."
"I ain't saying shit other than personal reasons." Tommy huffed then looked away from the giant with his arms crossed.
The giant rolled his eyes, though, the eyes seemed to dilate a bit.
The giant cleared his throat.
"Anyways, if you're not telling me why you're here, might as well just take you with me."
"Wait wait, I'm sure we can talk about this right?"
The giant ignores Tommy, he lowers his hand.
Tommy starts to feel the dread build up.
The giant puts Tommy in one of his pant pockets then closes the zipper.
"Hey, let me out!"
"No can do until you tell me why you're in my forest." The giant then starts walking.
"What part of personal reasons do you not understand?!"
"You could be part of the government and I don't want to risk that."
"What? No, I'm too fucking young to be part of the government. And plus, the government is corrupt."
"Still, I'm not letting you go."
The silence in the air was taking up everything.
"So, youngling, what is your name and age?"
"And why should I tell you?"
"Again, don't want to risk if you're part of the government."
Tommy sighed, this was gonna be a long night.
~~~~~~
Techno enters his cave, with his the youngling in his pocket.
He was safe there, and Techno would make sure he wouldn't leave.
Once he settles down, he unzips his pocket, grabbing the youngling and puts him down on the floor.
Techno knows the youngling's name is Tommy, but he would rather get his name from the youngling.
Plus, he doesn't want to sound like a creep by already knowing his name.
But, as soon as Tommys feet hit the floor, he runs to the entrance of the cave.
Techno sighed, he knew this would happen but he still feels disappointed that it would happen very soon.
Before the youngling makes it out of the cave, Techno puts his hand in front of Tommy, making him crash into his hand.
Techno moves his other hand to catch Tommy from landing on the ground.
"You're really determined to run away from me."
"That's what determination is dumbass."
"Not that it will last, since you're just gonna accept that you're not leaving."
"Yes I will be leaving, I don't care if I have to kill you in your sleep, I will leave."
"Let's see about that." Techno let out a small grin.
He really likes the energy the youngling has, reminds him of himself when he was way younger.
"Well youngling, whether you like it or not, I won't be giving up as well."
"Glad that both of us agree that we're both stubborn."
"Good, now, if you don't mind, I'm gonna head to sleep."
"Alright then."
Techno stood up, with his hand now wrapped around Tommy.
"Hey! Where are you taking me? I didn't agree to sleep with you!"
"I know what you're going to do as soon as I'm asleep. Don't play dumb with me."
"Piss off man!!"
"How about no? You're my responsibility now and you can't change my mind."
Techno ignored Tommy as he kept yelling vulgar words, but Techno didn't mind.
He goes into his room, then lays down in his bed, with the youngling being pushed against his chest.
Techno felt himself relaxed, hell, even his instincts were relaxed now that the youngling was near and safe.
He felt the youngling slow down, but Techno still needed to know Tommy's age.
"Youngling, I'm going to ask again, what is your name and age?"
He felt a breath of air hit his hand.
"My name's Tommy, and I'm seventeen, happy now?"
"Are you seventeen or seventeen thousand?"
"....Seventeen."
Techno felt both his heart drop and his instincts roaring at him that it wasn't safe for the youngling to be out of the nest.
"You're that young?" Techno says in a whisper, but the youngling still heard it.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
Techno stayed quiet, then the realization hit Tommy.
"There is no way in fucking hell that you're very much a whole lot older than I am."
"What can I say? Gotta respect your elders youngling."
"Bruh, I gave you my name so you could call me that and not call me fucking youngling!!"
"It suits you."
"What in the fuck is that supposed to mean?"
Techno at this point was tired, so he just stayed quiet and closed his eyes.
As he was losing consciousness, he could slightly here Tommy talking to him.
Not that he payed him any attention.
Soon after a few seconds, Techno fell asleep.
~~~~~~
Techno woke up.
He looked around the room, still half asleep.
Once Techno deemed that there weren't any dangers around, he looked to his chest.
His instincts were happy that the youngling stayed, and was asleep.
He yawned, he supposes that soon the youngling would wake up.
Techno once again looks around the room, he finds a small blanket.
He doesn't remember when he found the thing for the first time, but he had a suspicion that he would need it in the future.
And he was right, he could use the blanket to wrap it around Tommy.
Techno removes Tommy from his chest, wraps the blanket around him, then puts him down somewhere comfortable.
He slowly but surely walks out of the room.
"Hmm, maybe I could get something for the youngling to eat." He thought
He decided that it would be best to search for an animal that could either be alive or dead.
Or he could get some fish, but it would be difficult due to his size.
It looks like he might need to cash in that favor with a long time human friend that has been living in his forest.
"I still can't believe another human is living in my forest, but eh, not like he has done anything bad for me to scare him out of my forest." He thought.
And it's true, Phil hasn't done anything wrong, sure, the first time Techno saw Phil he tried to scare him out of his forest.
But the old man just kept on coming back, and the more he came back, the less easily scared he was.
And so, Techno just gave up on scaring him out of the forest, and just accepted the fact that there was going to be a human staying in his forest.
Not that he doesn't enjoy Phil's company sometimes, but, it does get a bit boring when you only have talked to the single human who isn't scared of him.
And now that he has Tommy, he has to cash in his favor towards Phil.
Oh well, not that he minds that much.
At least he and Phil would have some bonding time with each other.
Techno went out of the cave, after making sure that the youngling was safe and asleep, he makes his way towards Phil's cabin.
~~~~~~
After a few hours later, Tommy opens his eyes.
He tried to move but couldn't, he looked at himself to see that he was wrapped in a blanket.
Tommy didn't even know why the giant would wrap him with a blanket.
But he had no time to wonder, he had to escape.
Sure, the blanket was warm, almost to the point of making him sleep, but he couldn't stay here.
Tommy wants to be a free spirit, but with the giant keeping him here, he won't ever be able to taste freedom again.
He began to unwrap himself from the blanket.
"I might take it, just to keep me warm at night." Tommy thought.
Once he safely unwraps himself from the blanket, he takes it then stands up.
Tommy slowly jogs to the entrance of the giant's room.
He looked around the cave, seemed like the giant was nowhere near.
Tommy then made a run for it to the entrance of the cave, making it outside.
But he didn't stop running.
Tommy kept going, he didn't stop to take a break, he didn't stop when his lungs begged him to, he didn't stop even when his legs were at a point of collapsing.
Tommy finally stopped running when he deemed that he was now far from the cave.
He took his time to catch his breath, Tommy fell to the ground due to his very tired legs.
He was too busy catching his breath that he didn't notice the looming threat.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here?"
Tommy froze, he didn't get enough time to react when a hand grabbed him.
Tommy looked at what grabbed him, and his heart dropped to the bottom of his stomach.
It was a giant naga.
The scales were a poisoning green, it had a porcelain, smiling mask on its face.
"I didn't expect a ssmall human in Techno'ss foresst."
Tommy couldn't get the words out, he felt himself getting squeezed by the naga.
"Well, can't expect much from a ssuch a low life creature like you." It chuckled.
Tommy at this point started to struggle out of the tight grip that he was in.
"Aww, leaving sso ssoon? I'm ssure Techno wouldn't mind me getting a tasste out of you."
Tommy struggled even harder, he tried kicking, scratching, even biting at the naga, but it didn't seem to work.
Tommy felt like accepting his fate once the naga took his mask off, revealing a cruel smile behind it.
As the naga started to move Tommy towards his mouth, he didn't notice nor hear someone getting closer to them.
"Dream, what in the actual hell do you think you're doing with my youngling?" A familiar voice said.
Tommy looked towards the giant who kidnapped him, and the giant looked beyond pissed.
"Techno, what a pleassent ssurprisse, ass I wass coming to vissit you, I found thiss low life and thought that it would be a wonderful ssnack." The naga, who is named Dream said in a positive tone.
"Well that low life is my youngling that you're holding. So if you could kindly get your hands off of him, I won't cause any harm." Techno warned.
Dream, either didn't seem to care or didn't notice the warning, chuckled.
"Techno, jusst think about thiss. Ssince you hate having humanss in your foresst, I could eat it so I can ssatissfy my hunger." Dream offered.
Techno took a second to think.
"How about no?" The giant challenged the naga.
"Well, your losss." The naga said before putting Tommy closer to his mouth.
Tommy panicked, before he was put in the naga's mouth, he was being launched out of the hand that was holding him.
Before Tommy hit the ground, another hand grabbed him.
Tommy didn't have time to process anything before he was put inside a mouth.
The mouth closed before Tommy even had the chance of getting out.
The tongue then began to attack him.
Tommy tried to fight back, but in the end, he lost.
He had saliva all over him.
The tongue then began to push Tommy to the throat.
Tommy began to panic again, he tried to fight against the tongue but it was too late.
He was pushed to the throat, he could hear the naga or giant who ate him gulp.
On his way down, it was tight, he could hear the heartbeat, the breathing.
Once Tommy made it to the stomach, he knew that it was the end of him.
Tears began to fall down his face.
He began to cry out, he just wanted to be free, is that too much to ask?
Tommy couldn't hear the soft purr that was trying to calm him down.
He curled up on himself, he knew he was never going to see the sun again.
Tommy passed out.
~~~~~~
Tommy didn't expect to wake up.
He didn't expect to be alive.
But here he was, alive and well.
He looked around, he was right back to square one.
Tommy heard giant footsteps coming towards to room he was in.
Before he could hide, Techno came in.
"Oh, you're awake."
Tommy backed away.
"Hey, it's okay, I won't harm you."
"Why am I back here?" Tommy demanded.
"Well, I couldn't just leave you hanging with Dream, so I had to send you somewhere safe and so you won't be hurt from me fighting Dream."
Tommy remembered, he remembered that he was eaten by one of them, but by the way that Techno says it, Tommy was eaten by him.
"How am I not dead?"
"Well, us giants have a safe storage where we can put stuff in there without any of the digestion stuff."
Tommy took a second to process this information.
"But, why didn't you just took me to where there's other humans?"
"Well, it seemed like you were running from something, when I first saw you. Another reason is that my instincts adopted you."
Tommy snorted, he didn't expect for the giant's instinct to suddenly adopt him.
"So then, why didn't you just ignore or deny them?"
Techno then gave Tommy a deadpan stare.
"Who do you take me for? Plus, I'm not the type of person to deny my instincts."
Tommy chuckled, then it went quiet.
The silence was interrupted by Tommy saying, "Thank you, for saving me from the naga."
"No problem youngling, just happy that you're here and safe."
Tommy smiled.
"Is there anything to eat?"
"Yeah, while you were asleep, I went out to collect some fish for you to eat. You can eat now if you like."
"Yeah, that would be nice."
Techno reached his hand out towards Tommy.
"And if you didn't notice, my name's Technoblade youngling, but call me Techno."
"Your full name sounds so pretentious, but, nice to meet you m8."
Techno smirked as he began to walk.
"Welcome home, youngling."

Hiii!!!
Guess what I was doing instead of writing my fanfic! Participating in a Tumblr event (tehe)
Wrote a little something for this event yo @bunnwich
Anyway, yeah. Hi, I was that funky weird anon who asked if it was ocs only bc I... Had no ocs. Glad it doesn't need ocs tho bc I'm like weak for Idia and Leona and seeing them together makes me very happy
So, ye
Enjoy?
Yuletide? Trusty reindeer?! Leona couldn't give a damn about any of that! What was with that drawing anyway? Why were there only two slips? Because of the headmaster's poor excuse of a joke, he ended up as some trusty herbivore for a radish sprout that looked like he'd pass out if Leona got too close. What a joke! All he wanted to do right now is go to the botanical garden and-
Also readable on AO3 tehe!
--------------------------
Hm. He's got a little issue. Idia's little sprout brother stood between him and the botanical garden doors and, by the looks of it, Ortho wouldn't let him pass by so easily.
"Aha! There you are, Leona Kingscholar!" Ortho hovered over to him, displaying a rather cheerful expression, "Niisan has given me a request to go find you, so here I am! Will you spare us a moment of your time? I promise it'll be worth your while!"
Leona didn't want to go and see what Idia was up to, but if it was for that yule thing he probably had to, "Why does he want to see me?"
"He wants to show you a super cool mount he made to make Yuletide a little easier for you two to navigate."
"Alright, fine." Leona stepped aside for the little guy to show the way, "Lead us there."
"Roger!"
Leona followed Ortho for a long while, leaving the botanical garden and his morning plans far behind him. They walked past the school and several dozen trees, finally arriving at some discreet clearing far away from campus. A rather large sleigh sat in the middle of the clearing, filled to the brim with a generous amount of gifts and a single radish sprout.
"Oi, radish sprout." Shouted Leona as he walked closer, the sleigh seemed surprisingly new, "What's all this about?"
"O-Oh Leona..!" Idia fumbled with his tablet for a brief moment before holding it in front of him, letting the device do all the talking, "Fuhihihi! Welcome, my trusty reindeer, to the most exciting event of your week! Do you like my sleigh?"
"It's… nice. I don't have to pull it around, do I?"
"Sevens, no! We're not going to do something so cringe! We're in the future, Leona, we have no need to use such a slow method of transport. Instead, I got us a mount that…" Idia pointed dramatically into the air, "Can fly!"
"Fly? Really?" Leona leaned against the sleigh, "You made a sleigh that could fly in two days?"
"It's easy to do, I just didn't sleep. Ezpz." Idia seemed pretty smug about his terrible sleep schedule, "Anyway, do you know how to properly drive a flying car? It's easy if you don't know, I can teach you the basics in under an hour."
-⛄-
Unexpectedly, driving around in a flying car with Idia and Ortho is… fun. Well, fun enough. Leona got free rein, so he could fly anywhere on campus that he wanted, but he had to listen to Idia talk about fifty different video games. The only thing they've done together game-wise is chess! Not videogames, chess! It's rare to see Idia so animated, though, so… whatever. He could listen to more nerd facts as he drove around if it meant that Idia wouldn't freeze in fear at every little thing.
"- and so, that's how you can get a total of ten cupcakes during your ACNH birthday party." Explained Idia as he shuffled through his bag, gripping his tablet in one hand and pulling out a bundle of crumpled paper with the other, "Anyway, you drive fine now, so we can get on to the main event."
"The main event wasn't me doing a couple loops with this car?" Questioned Leona as they passed by the top bit of NRC for the sixth time that afternoon, "I thought that was thrilling."
"We almost lost a couple presents!" Exclaimed Idia, smacking Leona lightly with his tablet, "And that stunt wasn't it! We need to test this sleigh and deliver a few gifts."
"Why?"
"I want to see if we can go no contact and just drop gifts on people, that's why I have Ortho in the back." Idia flipped through a couple of the pages in his hand, "You probably shouldn't run over anyone, but I encourage scaring people to death by nearly running them over. Particularly Azul, he beat me in Monopoly last week through dirty tactics-"
-⛄-
Yep. Nothing like walking through the snow miserably. Against all odds, Ruggie found himself running late. Not that late, but still, pretty late. His class went on past the bell, the line at Sam's store took forever, and now the hyena found himself crunching through the snow with Jack. He met up with the guy on his way out of the store but… still. It feels a little awkward that he's making Jack lug around all the laundry stuff he bought earlier. Jack was super willing and everything, but still. The help is appreciated at least.
"So…" Starts Jack, perhaps uncomfortable with the silence between them, "Have you heard what has been happening today?"
"Are you talking about the murder sleigh?" Questioned Ruggie, "Yeah, it would be pretty hard to miss the gossip floating around the halls about the mysterious flying vehicle that nearly mowed down a couple students today."
"Yeah, that sleigh." Jack keeps on trudging ok through the snow, "It didn't kill anyone yet, but it tended to target students who were alone in open spaces."
"... Yeah?"
"And we're alone… in an open space. We won't get run over next, will we?"
"Huh." Ruggie hadn't thought about that before, but they sure are walking in an open space with nobody else around, "Probably not. What's the chances that the crazy murder sleigh would want to-"
"Wait." Jack paused with a small twitch of his ears, "Do you hear something?"
Ruggie stopped in his own tracks, trying to catch on to the mysterious sound Jack was referring to. He could certainly hear something… it's faint, like the jingle of bells and the clunking of several… boxes? He wasn't sure. It was nearly impossible to hear the bells over the crunching of snow and their idle chatter, he's surprised Jack hear the noise at all. Still, why does it sound like that bell jingle is getting louder by the second?
"Where is that sound coming-?" Ruggie turned to look behind him, coming face to face with a sleigh in the sky that's coming straight at them, "Jack! The sleigh! It's coming for us!"
"What?!" Jack hauled the bags he held over his shoulder as he started running for it, "We have to go, Ruggie! Run-!"
"Don't run!" Yelled something from the sleigh that's hurling itself towards them, "Duck! Get down!"
Jack and Ruggie were on the ground in seconds, holding their breath as the sleigh sped on by over their heads. Part of him swore that he saw the vehicle graze the top fluff off of Jack's ears, it went way too close to them!
"Great seven…" Ruggie cursed as he slowly lifted himself up from the snow, "Are you good, dude?"
"I- Yeah." Jack's gaze seemed to follow the retreating sleigh that flew off into the evening sky, "Are you good?"
"Well, I'm certainly not roadkill." Ruggie spun around briefly, looking at their surroundings, "The stuff I bought isn't crushed or anything but- hey!" Ruggie pointed towards two neatly placed present boxes that had somehow appeared behind them, "Look! Did the sleigh drop these?"
"Maybe?" Jack carefully approached the gifts, grabbing one and flipping it around, "There's a tag here, this one says 'For Jack, from the green one and his reindeer'. Wait, it's for me?!"
"Does that mean the other one is for me?!" Ruggie quickly picked up the other box and grabbed the tag, it had his name on it, "Dude! It is for me!"
"Should we open them..?"
"Why not? It's not like the sleigh is coming back for them."
Jack merely nodded in agreement before tearing open his present, "No way! Succulent crochet for beginners, I was looking up this book last night!"
Oh boy, Ruggie was looking up different types of laundry detergent last night. He really, really hoped he wasn't about to get laundry detergent. Maybe he should save this thing to open later-
"What did you get?" Questioned Jack, eyes brimming with curiosity.
Well, no avoiding it now. Ruggie carefully undid the neat ribbon before tearing apart the wrapping paper, revealing… four dozen doughnuts? Oh yeah, the other thing he was looking up last night, how to easily make four dozen doughnuts while hungry. He never managed to accomplish that, mainly because the BOOgle results sucked, but now he got what he wanted with zero effort. Ruggie popped open one of the doughnuts, expecting to get some plain ones, but what greeted him instead were twelve doughnuts that seemed to be individually decorated to look like spotted hyenas. That's… really cute, actually.
Jack leaned over his shoulder to look at his newly acquired doughnut haul, pointing at one of the various hyena doughnuts, "Hey, Ruggie, that one looks like you!"

"Did you see their faces?!" Idia seemed close to tears besides him, face adorned with a huge grin, "Gold! They're expressions are almost as good as Azul's look of pure panic!"
"I got a pretty good shot of their faces!" Exclaims Ortho with his camera, "We can print you a copy if you want, Leona."
"Sure, why not." Leona couldn't help but smile as he saw the Shroud brothers do a fist bump, "Who are we scaring to death next?"
"They were the last people we had on our test run list, actually." Idia leaned back in his seat, "Can you land us near the botanical garden? You'll be free of your reindeer duties for the day afterwards."
"Oh. Yeah, sure." Part of Leona had hoped that this would last longer, for he's having a better time than expected with the Shroud brothers, but he shouldn't be selfish, "You don't want to land where we started?"
"Nah, too far, the botanical garden is closer." Idia grabbed his discarded tablet and held it up to his face, letting the device do the rest of the talking, "We can take the long scenic route to the field if you want to spend more time with me!"
"Hah, you wish."
Idia huffed behind his tablet as it continued to rattle out words, "You'd definitely fail if you were in an otome."
"Good thing I'm not in one then, yeah?" Leona landed the sleigh with ease outside of the botanical garden, "Here we are, radish sprout. Anything else you two need before I get goin'?"
Idia lowered his tablet to speak with his own mouth once more, "Yeah, I've got one more thing." Idia motioned towards Ortho with his hand, "You still got it?"
"Yep!" Ortho produced a present, dropping it onto Leona's lap, "Happy Yuletide, Leona!"
"Happy Yuletide, Leona. I had to get my trusty reindeer a little something so… tada. Take it with you as you get off, ok? No throwing it away!"
"Alright, alright." Leona carefully held the gift as he got off of the sleigh, "Are we still goin' to have our chess rematch this weekend?"
"Oh defs. " Idia did a little finger gun as he slid on over to the seat Leona once occupied, "This Yuletide job of ours won't stop me from kicking your ass." He quickly left after saying those words, guiding the sleigh off into the sky.
Right. What did Idia get him anyway? Leona tore open the wrapping paper, revealing a rather soft pillow with a nice silk pillowcase folded to the side. This is nice, it could probably replace his usual nap pillow as well…
Wait, does this mean he owes Idia a gift?

Stick 'n Poke
"Come on, Leo- do it already." Jess' hand clenched up on the table as Leo futzed around with one of the ballpoints he'd found around the store.
"Yeah yeah, gimme a damn minute!! You asked for somethin' huge, I haven't done any this big before."
"That's what she said-"
Leo looked up from the pen, chuckling, "Uhuh."
In turn, Jess smiled right back- watching as Leo squished the ink out into the cup he'd poured the rest of the stores pens into. Jess took a long breath, as she felt her hand shaking against the table. Leo shot a glance over, more checking the sketch Jess'd done herself, before noticing her shaking and letting off a laugh, "What, nervous?"
"No-!" Jess snarked back, her hand clenching up as he laughed.
"It doesn't hurt… Much."
Jess gritted her teeth and scowled, "Fuck off."
After a minute, Leo cut off the laugh with a soft hum, "You'll be fine."
With Jess' signature eye roll in response, Leo pulled off, pitching the pen into the trash. He brought the cup to where Jess sat, reaching for the rest of his 'kit' next to it- a pencil he'd set up earlier, with the end carved out to hold a sewing needle he'd heated with a lighter, and some thread wrapped around the top. Following that, he sat down before Jess. "Ready?"
For all of her rushing, Jess took a second. She took a deep breath, clenching her hand, before bringing it over to Leo. "Here I thought you'd want the counter."
"Nah. Easier when I can move your arm how I need to." Leo shrugged, dipping the needle into the solo cup of ink, "Now, really. Ready?"
"Mh-"
"Jess."
"Yeah," Jess nodded- feeling that fun rush of adrenaline in her stomach, the mix of excitement and nerves boiling like a stew. She briefly squeezed Leo's hand before humming, "Yeah, I'm ready."
"M'kay… Count of three." Leo brought the needle closer to her hand, edging the tip against the skin. "One, two…" Poke-! Wincing a little as Leo pushed the needle in early, Jess hissed out air as the sensation raked through her hand.
"Three."
Snarling through her teeth, she glared up from the work on her hand to Leo's head, half tempted to shove him. "You ass."
"Ha ha." Drily responding, Leo kept his head bowed as he worked- which, to Jess, felt like more care than he'd shown anything else.
Careful, methodical presses into the skin, followed by a dry wipe when he needed to clear the skin. For a jittering crackhead, not bad. At least, in Jess' eyes anyway- she'd had no other experience to judge it against… As Leo worked, Jess watched for the first spell, watching each poke as he did it, trying to follow the lines Jess'd set before. He was a little more cautious to make them rounded than Jess was. Points to that detail.
However, as fun as it was to watch him work, her eyes wandered the store, catching on one of the TVs. She zoned out listening to the movie for a spell, half ignoring the numerous pokes.
After a fair spell of quiet, the rhythm that Leo had set himself into eased, as he got more comfortable working with Jess' arm. He piped up, breaking her out of her focus on the movie. "So, whhhy didn't you ask your mom?"
Jess turned her head back, half noting just how far he was coming along.
Not… Far. Though the tattoo was coming along nicely. He had that going for him.
"Uhh… She'd say no?"
"Really." Leo scoffed, "Bullshit. Why?"
"…I figured she would say I could, but- well…" Money.
Jess didn't finish that statement, but Leo nodded along anyway. "…trying to keep teenage rebellion cheap, huh."
"May as well get my outcast mark from someone who understands why."
"Right. Well, I'm the best you've got-"
Letting off a laugh, Jess hummed, "Yeah, you are." "Oooh, being affectionate today, are we?" Leo teased, pausing for a moment to glance up-
Jess took the moment to shove his shoulder, though realising that was about the only reason he'd paused in the first place. That much got a snort out of her, "Sure. Let's say that."
"Riiight."
"Moreover- just- you know the whole-"
"Yeah, I know. Kinda hard to forget."
"And I'm more comfortable with you doing it than some guy in his 40s."
"I'm-" As Leo made to tease once more, the doorbell rung, snagging his attention. "Shhit."
Putting the needle down on the paper towel, he moved to get up, turning towards the door, before letting off a little sigh of relief, "Oh, hey."
Jess turned her attention to the back room door, seeing a modest, frankly over dressed, redhead step in. She had a cardigan on, along with a long skirt and socks practically to her knees, along with tacky red glasses and heavily embroidered oxfords. Preppy…
Although, Leo moved and picked up the needle again, half ignoring her as she stepped up to the counter. Furrowing her brow, she looked down to Leo, "Uhh-"
Leo brushed off the comment, glancing to the girl, before looking back down at Jess' arm. "It's fine. Just called in someone to watch the front for a bit."
The girl gave a nod, before quietly sneaking past the two and moving to the desk. She reached into the hidden compartment and took out a notebook, before excusing herself to the front, and shutting the door behind her.
"Who's that?"
"Mh? Ah- just some volunteer. She lives like a mile away, and her mom said something about trying to drill in responsibility. Kid's like 14, though- so… I mean, I won't turn down free labour."
"Huh." Jess shrugged, glancing to the door, before groaning, "Ugh… she shut the door thoughh…"
"Uhh, yeah? I mean, are you mad about some alone time~"
"Shutup-"
"Just sayin'."
"I'm mad because she took away the line of sight I had to a TV." "Well, I mean-" Leo paused, before looking to the door, "Hey-! Faith! Get back in here a sec, would ya?"
His yell sat quiet for a moment, before the door creaked open, and the girl poked her head in. "Yes?"
"Can you grab- uh… Oh. Grab Clockwork Orange and put it in the player real quick."
This ought to be good… Jess rolled her eyes, but the girl nodded, "I'll take a look," before shutting the door once again.
"Clockwork? Really."
"Whaaat, I figure you wanted something at least a little interesting. Aaand long."
"Oh, so, not you?" "Jessica."
Satisfied, Jess gave a little shit eating grin- before Leo poked down on her arm a little Too Hard for her liking. She sucked her teeth at the motion, glaring- "Sorry, Jesus- Confidence issues, much?"
"Ha. Hah. Hah."
Leo went back to his regular pace, leaving Jess with the quiet for a spell- until the door clicked open, and the girl walked in. She squeezed past the two before moving to the VCR, and putting in the tape. She then turned on the TV, and grabbed the remote, moving over to the two. "Um-"
"Give it to Jess, I'm busy."
With Leo's comment, the girl nodded, before looking to Jess and holding out the remote. Jess reached with her free hand and took it, "Thanks."
Although, the girl stood still- looking down to what Leo was doing. She seemed particularly fixated on it, before Leo paused and looked up with a glare, "Get back to work?"
"Oh!! Um- yes, sorry-!!" And she scurried off, quickly leaving the room and shutting the door.
"Jeez…"
"Don't get mad at her-- I'd be interested too if it were my first time seeing a tattoo being done."
"You're awful loyal real quick, Jessie."
Jess shook her head and scowled back, "Not loyal- just don't think you should be yelling at her. She's not even getting paid to deal with your bullshit."
"Yeah, yeah…" Wiping away another little section, he took a look at the current progress, before continuing on as normal.
Meanwhile, Jess sat back- adjusting her position as best she could without disturbing Leo so that she could see the screen… though soon deciding it would be best if it were background noise instead. Not her taste, but better than the hum of the AC. The rest of the evening continued on like this for a fair spell- as the TV played out the dystopian film from one of Leo's dreams, and Leo continued his work. Slowly but surely, the tattoo soon filled. Jess grew numb to it after a while, and almost didn't notice when the pricking stopped. Almost, as Leo swiped away the remaining ink and tossed the pencil down onto the paper towel next to him, and got up.
"Huh?"
Leo looked down at Jess' noise, before shaking out the kinks in his hands and arms. "All done- just getting some water to clean it off with."
"Ah- wait… Wouldn't it be easier if I just washed it?"
"Nah. Clean water, no soap. May as well just rinse it with a cloth and get a bandage on it."
At that, Leo turned and headed out, leaving Jess by herself. She looked down at the tattoo, seeing the dark ink now against her skin- with some sections lacking ink, and more ink in other places than she'd expected. However, it looked good. Clean, sharp and crisp. Of course, it'd fade, but then? The bold lines across her hand, with the treble clef sticking out among it? Looked badass.
All that, though, and it still felt like it was missing something. The sweeping lines adding depth to the treble clef certainly had it's charm- but it didn't really… Mean a lot. Granted, it did to her- but it was a statement piece after all.
On a bit of an impulse, she picked up the needle and scraped the cup, pulling her hand into her lap, before drawing on her own little addition to the tattoo-- A frownie face with X's for eyes in the crook of her hand. May as well sum up my life, huh?
Looking at the little mark, she smiled to herself, before hearing the door click open and Leo step in. She tossed the pencil back onto the towel, but the act was still noticable enough that Leo chuckled, "What? Not enough for you?"
"Adding my touch, thank you very much-"
"Well, if you wanted your touch, why didn't you do the whole thing yourself?"
He had a point there, as Jess was loathe to admit. She shrugged, "You did it better than I did- see?"
Holding up her hand to show the mark she added, Leo laughed again- hearty and mocking. Jess rolled her eyes, before laughing along with, "Whatever."
"Right. Let's get you cleaned up." ——
☾ | i must, for all intents and purposes, stress this: For this fic, I've written it that the main ink used is ballpoint pen ink. Please DO NOT use ballpoint pen ink for stick and point tattoos at home!!! It's very unsafe and you can risk all kinds of infections, or worse. About the only reason I've written it here is Iiii didn't think Leo or Jess would have access to proper tattoo ink for this. with that aside, i thought it'd be fun to write how jess got her tattoo-- seeing as i thought she'd get it from leo when they were dating, eheh~

It doesn't have to be bad! (Therianthropy short story, PT.2)
I quickly ran to her and set down my knife after the dragon seemed calmer, staring at her, obviously confused. She told me she didn't understand either, but the dragon would leave us alone now. I still didn't understand but decided not to question it.
Later in the village, while everyone was thinking of how we were going to repair another kid ran up to us. He was about 14 years old, and was clearly very nervous. He asked how we had the strength to climb up the mountain, and how Alex could move the dragon's claw, or how Alex could speak to it. Both of us had no reply, it just seemed normal. It took him a moment before saying anything else.
Finally he told us he'd felt similar things, things he couldn't explain, animalistic behaviors. He said all of it for him was connected to the phoenix. We had none in our area, but knew about them all too well. He said he'd had sometimes gotten into arguments, or any sorta trouble, but the next day everyone would be fine and happy again. Another thing is fire exploded around him, sparks would fly up and fires would grow huge around him. He'd had dreams of flying through forests, trees burning at the touch of his wings.
We agreed to talk to him more about that stuff, his name was Lucas. He was all we had to relate to anyways. Eventually he showed us this stuff he talked about, fire did spark up around him, and he was right about things just going back to normal for him and people around him. We never got to tell anyone else, we were outcasts to the kingdom anyways, but it was comforting to have someone else with these weird things.
Over time we each noticed more stuff we related to, and how nature would act with us. I was extremely agile, but later started to associate that with somehow being connected to snow leopards. Alex was extremely strong, but looking into it, griffins had insane strength to. All of this stuff couldn't be coincidences, right?
After months and months of research, trying to find anyone else who'd felt like us we never succeeded, so we decided to start our own group, and go down in history as the first people to mention this feeling and acknowledge it. We started all running through the woods, climbing the mountains, and making our own little nests on the tops of mountains and cliffs. It was our way of feeling more comfortable in our bodies that felt wrong for us.
We'd get attacked by wild animals occasionally, but that was never a problem for us, since we had all learned how to use our abilities by this point. All of us would get what we started to call "alters" which was short for alterations in our minds of our instincts, moods, or general behaviors. Alex would sometimes walk on all fours during these "alters," it had helped her feel like a griffin, which is what she was. Just like how I'm a snow leopard and Lucas was a Phoenix.

There's an acquaintance of mine who's conservative, and so there's a lot of reasons I don't really agree with him, but one of the things he tends to say is 'rude'. Any situation where one person is being what he sees as impolite to someone else, he'll call it out as rude. Which is fine and dandy in concept. But his concept of rude is weirdly selective. He won't call it rude if someone is making fun of gay people, for instance, or autistic people. But he will call it rude if someone is saying 'yeah you don't know this guy but he's kind of unironically racist and just a dick for the record'. Which sorta reveals it's not really about rudeness, or politeness, because he doesn't actually oppose those in practice. It almost looks like it's about social exclusion - but he pretty much tries actively to exclude the kind of person he thinks should be excluded from society (gay, autistic, furry, trans). It's completely selective. He'll hang the groups he politically disagrees with out to dry, and he'll act as if any other instance of hostility is uncalled for. I don't even know if it's conscious malice, exactly. You could say he never crosses the line of admitting malicious intent, but I don't think that changes the severity of what he's doing. In his head he's built some kind of barrier between things it's okay to be passively hostile towards - including queer people, autistic people, atheism, furries, and left-wing politics in general - and things that it isn't okay to be hostile about - including racism and sexism. Which ties into a different opinion he has that anyone in that category that should-be-outcasts: -Are morally degenerate (due to a warped understanding of what is okay and/or good) -Do not perceive the world correctly (due to their moral degeneracy/warped worldview) -Are dangerous to listen to because they might convince you their worldview is correct -Have no basis for their beliefs at all (because they didn't actually think about them) -Need to be fixed, but don't think they need to be fixed, so they should be tricked into fixing themselves Which plays into a whole long-term disingenous dynamic of goalpost moving where he'll poke and prod at your beliefs, make you feel bad about them, and complain if you: -assert a belief without proof ('lol why would I believe that') -assert a belief with scientific proof ('academic papers are so biased against conservative views they can't be trusted') -assert a belief with theological proof ('like I would trust a non-theology major to read the bible') -assert a belief with anecdotal proof ('you need a peer-reviewed academic paper to have a sample size that's trustworthy') -assert a belief with abstract moral proof ('it isn't biblical so it's fundamentally the wrong basis') -assert a belief with conceptual logical proof (he isn't reading that) -assert a belief as an unproven but personally meaningful concept (that's unconvincing, so you're wrong and you should feel bad about having your wrong opinion) -expect him to read or remember anything you say; express memory of anything he has said in the past (he's not terminally online like you, go touch grass) -express any failure to remember any detail of anything he has said in the past (lol your memory doesn't even exist, why would he listen to you?) -respond to his comments at all (he wasn't here for a big long conversation...) -fail to respond to his comments (very rude how do you expect communication to even happen here if you don't talk???) Anyway, like, that's how this kind of stuff shows up? People are just people, and over time you realize that some of them are dicks. And you also realize that they think anyone who isn't like them is just. Bad. On an inherent level. And then you realize 'holy crap I need new friends'. End rant?

Any fandom ocs??
There's a lot of them. At the moment, I'm thinking more about Inspector John 'Jack' Newcomen from Sherlock Holmes, but there is also one that I hold dearly to my heart even if my interest in the fandom somewhat died down, which is Spottedstar from Warriors Cats. He's a slim calico cat from ShadowClan, technically half-WindClan but his mother moved to ShadowClan so he isn't a forbidden child, so he looks smaller than his clanmates and it's. Funny. Anyway, he's somewhat of an outcast, partially due to that (since he's naturally weaker than his clanmates, but far faster and more agile; his mentor did not know how to properly teach him due to that) and partially because he's transgender and ShadowClan doesn't really know whether or not that's something to be accepted or bewildered at. There's this tom called Owlfeather that's the greatest example of that latter one, and his parents are the greatest example of the first one: their child is so bad at fighting despite their own abilities, that they keep letting him down and trying to make him into a more ambitious cat than he actually is. It was them who forced him to agree into a 'deputyship' when Redstar's previous deputy, Lynxclaw, decided to retire. He has a good relationship with Redstar despite their personality differences (Spottedpelt has a short temper, cares too much, often loses debates for lacking arguments; while Redstar is usually very aloof, he just pretends he isn't for Spottedpelt's sake because he doesn't want to spook him up with his actual undiagnosed ASPD), and Redstar ends up being more of a mentor to him than his own mentor, though Spottedpelt still doesn't have that much saying in anything and things still need to go Redstar's way (he doesn't really like sharing the leadership with anyone, which is why Lynxclaw decided to retire from his duties early, dude got fed up). It's around this time that he becomes interested in ShadowClan's healer, Honeycomb, a frankly traumatized and imnsoniac beige tabby; she's not interested back, however, since she's not only aromantic she's also not even looking for a qpr at the moment. They become best friends instead, even if Spottedpelt is still interested in her, and serve as support for each other. It's really wholesome actually. And then Redstar dies, and Spottedpelt becomes Spottedstar. He assigns Lionmane as his deputy, which is a big yellow senior warrior; not everyone is happy with the decision, because Lionmane is paraplegic and carries himself around on his front legs, which makes some of the clanmates wonder how he's going to defend ShadowClan "properly". Lionmane is a good deputy, though! He's far more experienced with politics than Spottedstar, so he ends up being his extended braincell, which is nice because Spottedstar can't make ONE decision on his own.
Then everything changes when a rogue appears, a bit in a Sol-like fashion, but this time he doesn't cause complete anarchy, no. RiverClan stops using the Warrior Code due to his influence, exile their leader, and they create their own code and politics are still unstable but they seem to be doing fine and that PISSES Spottedstar off and worries the other clans. Spottedstar feels unsafe at these changes, because what if this reaches ShadowClan aswell? He's going to lose the only achievement he ever had, and he sorta feels that all that he went through was for nothing if there was always a way to create a system that would've been kinder to him from the getgo, always a way to avoid all of the pain. Fucker is in cognitive dissonance, bad for him bad for him

Part Three
pairing: peter parker x fem!stark!reader
warnings: cussing, math😧, reader simping for may if u squint
word count: 1.6k
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Peter Parker. The absolute nerdiest nerd of Midtown. How did a Stark of all people notice him? She can't do math. And math was slightly important if you wanted to graduate high school, so she gratefully accepted Peter's invitation to help her pass.
She was hesitant to accept his offer, assuming he only wanted to help in an attempt to be closer to the oh so amazing Tony Stark. What was so amazing about him anyway? Oh he's smart and wears metal, BOO HOO-
(Y/N) shook the thoughts dissing her own dad from her head as she jogged up the steps of Peter's apartment complex. Her backpack bounced against her back on every step, not that it was very full.
She had never talked to Peter much, they shared a couple classes and that was it. He was cute and smart but an outcast. She knew Flash bothered him for no reason and that he hung out with that kid- What was his name again? Bob? No, it definitely doesn't start with a b. It was some three letter name, but she couldn't exactly place i-
"No, Ned! She's literally on her way right now! I'm not lying dude! Take a pict-? No, that's so creepy! Don't you dare come over, I'll kill yo-" Peter's voice sounded muffled through the door, but not so muffled (Y/N) couldn't make out what he was saying.
Ned! That was it, she knew it was three letters, that's good enough. Trying to ignore the fact Peter was clearly talking about her, and way too loudly at that, she brought up her hand to ring the doorbell before stepping back.
"Oh my god, I'm hanging up idiot, she's here. Don't come over. Goodbye- Yes, I'll tell you what happens- GOODBYE!"
(Y/N) grinned, leaning over slightly to hide her smile. This guy was adorable.
Said guy opened the door with a nervous grin. "Heyy, you made it, ah, come on in." She nodded, walking past him. He had a nice apartment, real homey.
"Do you- live here alone?" She asked, turning around.
He laughed, not out of humor, more of a filler laugh. "No, I live with my aunt, she's working. Do you think- a fifteen year old could live alone?" He asked, a little concerned.
(Y/N) thought for a good few seconds, "Nah, just wondering. I like this place, it's cute." She smiled back at him, a genuine one. He didn't think she'd be so nice, standing silently in response.
She took the awkward silence as an invitation to continue speaking for him, "So, your room? Or do you want to do it on the couch?"
"Do w- do what?" he whispered, his jaw falling to his feet.
(Y/N) broke into full on hysterical laughing, throwing her head back at his reaction. "Oh my god, Parker! You're hilarious, man." She managed to get out between fits of laughter, slapping him on the shoulder.
He felt the wind get knocked out of him, his jaw still on the floor. "Uhm, the couch- yeah, couch is fine." Man, his voice broke a lot.
-----
"If 7 (y - 3) = 2 (y - 9) + 2y, what's the value of y?" Peter turned to (Y/N), watching her scribble down the equation on her loose piece of paper. She suddenly stopped, staring intently at the numbers on the page.
"Do you want hel-" "No."
Peter leaned back a bit, still looking over her shoulder, as she did nothing.
The numbers danced over the page, blurring into shapes in front of her. God, she hated numbers. Letters too, who the hell decided to put them together and torture children with them? She shook her head before looking at Peter with a sigh. "Yeah, yeah okay I want help." She mumbled, handing him the paper.
He chuckled lightly, "Well uh, I can't answer for you but first you have to simplify each side so it's not as scary, you know? So basically, taking it apart. First you look at 7 (y - 3), what's 7 x 3?"
'God, I hate this, please let someone throw a brick through that window to hit me right on the hea-'
"21. So, then you'd have 7y - 21, right?" She looked at Peter, praying she was right, and he didn't think she was some idiot.
"Yes, exactly!" He grinned, leaning over to write that down on the paper while (Y/N) let out a long sigh of relief. He was a good tutor, she'd have to pay him a good amount, not that it'd be hard. A cute tutor too, even with his weird interpretations of everything she said.
The door opening made both their heads snap in the direction of it, watching a- really pretty woman walk in? "Who's that...?" (Y/N) mumbled, staring at her with no shame.
"My.. aunt- why did you say it like that?" He asked quietly, looking back at the young Stark. "I didn't say it like anything, I was just asking." She retorted, looking back at him. "No, you were like 'Whooo'sss thaaaat?'" He did his best (Y/N) impression, earning a not so impressed look from his student.
She was a little impressed by his sudden confidence in talking to her, she wanted him to talk to her like that all the time, instead of being so nerv- Wait, what was she thinking, that's so weird to even think a-
"You brought home a girl, Peter?" The beautiful woman asked, setting a few groceries down on the counter.
Peter turned slightly red, closing some of the textbooks. "Uhm yeah Aunt May, I thought I told you I was helping a friend with homework." He clenched his jaw, staring wide eyed at his aunt.
"You didn't say it was a girl, a pretty one too." The older woman laughed, opening the fridge to put away some milk.
(Y/N) smiled at that, nudging Peter with her elbow. "I love your aun-" "Dude!" Peter whisper yelled, shoving some textbooks, that weren't even (Y/N)'s into her backpack and zipping it shut quickly.
"But uh- we were finishing up, right (Y/N)?"
The younger Stark sighed and nodded, "Yeah, my dad is texting me crazy anyway." She explained, opening her backpack to take her wallet out.
Peter quickly stood up, "Oh, it's free, I was just helping you out, you know, it wasn't a big deal-"
(Y/N) cut him off, shoving two twenties into his fidgeting hands. "We might not have finished that last problem, but you helped me finish almost every single one on that worksheet Parker. That's more than my dad has helped me with." She whispered the last part with a grin, "I'll see youuuuu.. next weekend? At that burger joint down the street?"
He didn't respond before she said goodbye to Aunt May and walked out the door.
He stared at the door with an open mouth before looking down at the money in his hands. "$40 bucks for a 35 minute tutoring session..?" He mumbled.
"I like her!" Aunt May exclaimed, also looking at the door with her hands on her hips. "You'd be adorable together; you should really shoot your shot Pete."
Peter gasped, gaping at his aunt. "It's not like that, you're so weird May." He dragged his hands down his face, groaning. "Come on, that's (Y/N) Stark! It's definitely like that. She seems really nice too, nicer than her dad seems at least. Also, she totally just asked you out."
"It's to do homework!" Peter defended, picking up the rest of the textbooks on the coffee table.
"And to eat. Which means it's a date."
"I- what?!" Peter gave up, dragging his feet to his room with a very red face.
-----
"What's his name?"
"Peter."
"His full name, (Y/N)."
"Sorry, I didn't ask for his middle name."
Tony sighed, rubbing his forehead. "If he's harmless, why won't you just tell me his name."
(Y/N) kept a straight face, staring down her dad. "Because you'll search him up and stalk him anyway. Like the last two guys I hung out with in the past like five years."
She sat on one of the stools at the counter, swirling a straw in her smoothie.
"What do I have to do to get you to just tell me?" He asked, leaning against the sink on the other side of the kitchen, facing her. She hummed, looking up.
"Tell me what that meeting was about, with the secretary of state." She said, looking back at him.
He groaned, "No, pick something else. I'll buy you 1,000 Honey Buns if I have to."
"Just tell me! It's not like I have anyone to talk to about it if you do, my lips are sealed." She held out her pinkie, leaning over. "You're my daughter, it's impossible for you to shut your mouth."
(Y/N) gasped in offense, dropping her hand onto the marble surface. "Fine, I'll bribe Steve, he tells me everything." She stuck out her tongue before hopping off the stool and leaving the kitchen with a huff.
"You better tell me that kid's name, don't make me look through your phone, young lady!" He yelled after her, before sighing and putting her empty cup in the sink.

Ok I think I got it now
So in this universe, everybody is some sort of doll ranging from Porcelain, clay, fabric/cloth, silicone, etc. There are a few new added bits.
Alma is a clay doll
Bruno is a porcelain doll
Blue Family;
Mirabel is a cloth/fabric doll
Luisa is a silicone doll
Isabela is a porcelain doll
Juleita is a clay doll
Agustin is Silicone doll
Yellow Family;
Antonio is a silicone doll
Camilo is a silicone doll
Dolores is a clay doll
Pepa is a silicone doll
Felix is a clay doll.
Mirabel is the rarest among the doll family in this au. You would think that she would be more cared for since she's the rarest but nope still an outcast. Bruno does leave in this au but for completely different reasons. The family does remain the same but with a few minor/bigger changes.
She's also like a voodoo doll of sorts. She doesn't get hurt but if she somehow cuts a seem the other person will feel it and not her.
Bruno was the first "senorita perfecta" growing up. since he's a porcelain doll he had the utmost protection and attention. In this universe, porcelain dolls are always supposed to be happy. The reason for this is that porcelain dolls were very fragile and could crack with any negative emotion. And when cracks appear that soon meant that they would break with the slightest movement. So he was spoiled
Mirabel, being a fabric doll was/is the outcast. Her button eyes, sewn mouth, and sand-filled fabric body creeped some people out. Mostly alma, she was so confused as to why she was born that way. Everyone else in the family is normal so why wasn't she? Mira questioned it too. Not only did she not have a gift but she had to be a physical outcast too. But being a cloth doll has its perks. She can fall from tall places and be completely fine and she's the most flexible out of every doll in the village.
Triplets dynamics -
Bruno got the most attention out of the three. Pepa and Julieta were more like his maids than sisters but they loved him anyway. They did try to spend time with him but as they got older they grew apart. Mainly because of Alma separating them and because of Bruno's selfish and self-absorbed behavior.
Pepa and Julieta started being more rebellious for attention but this made Alma resent them. After they reached their teen years the triplets totally stopped talking to each other.
Grandkids dynamics -
It's pretty much the same as in the movie except the other grandkids actively avoid Mirabel. They don't want her to unintentionally hurt them if she trips and they just think she's weird.
Ayo⁉️⁉️⁉️ I’m going to slam the entire family for avoiding Mirabel cause what did she do to deserve this <\333 and idgaf if Isa and Brunoare made of glass, I’ll still crack them open and what 🤨
It’s all fun and games until they go to look for Mirabel and all they find is a trail of sand, melted wax and some broken thread 🗿 ain’t funny now, is it?

Okay so you love Azriel. I have to ask, what did you think of the bonus chapter? The entire thing but mainly:
1. His views about Elain (the way he thinks that the bond should be with him, instead of it being with Lucien)
2. The way he claimed the he would win the Blood Duel against Lucien. (Arrogance or true love for Elain)
3. His re gifting of necklace to Gwyn.
Personally I love the third one because I kinda saw this as a soft beautiful gesture towards a friend. However, the fandom thinks it was a horrible crime on his part which is just 😫
This chapter opened up a whole can of worms of how not-in-a-good-place Azriel is at this point in the story. He's unable to sleep, razor-sharp thoughts are slicing him, and at his core he is desperate to have love. He's envious of Rhys and Cassian having mates. But I loved having his POV.
He views Elain as not somebody he actually wants a relationship with, but somebody he could be with because, although she's mated, she's unattached, she's beautiful, and quiet. However, his self-loathing is so strong that he avoids looking at his own hands when she hands him the gift, he uses words such as sacrilege and sullied when referencing his hands touching her. Most of his thoughts about her are of a sexual nature. Basically, just wants to fuck. It doesn't mention anything about her hobbies or personality, literally just her body. And that's fine if they're just after a quick hook up, but pure lust will not sustain a relationship. Whilst lots of SJM's couples are overly sexual with each other, there is at least some teasing and playfulness. Training is also the foundation of most of her couples and I don't see these two ever training together, The IC will not force Elain to be a warrior like Nesta. They both acknowledge they shouldn't really be doing it. Elain saying she should go but not moving, Azriel agreeing. Talk of only the Mother witnessing it because it's a secret. It doesn't seem to me that Azriel wants Elain because he loves her, he is just so desperate to be loved by anybody and Elain is convenient. She's not happy with her bond, she's beautiful, they get on well. She's an easy choice.
When Rhys challenges him on deserving Elain, he deflects the question and claims Lucien doesn't - because from his internal thoughts, Azriel doesn't think he's good enough to touch Elain anyway. Azriel also confesses internally that he hasn't really planned anything beyond jerking off about her. That's not a forbidden love where they're being kept apart. He's horny and hasn't considered any implications beyond fucking her. Azriel is a skilled warrior. One of the strongest in Illyria's history so I do think it's just his arrogance and self-assurance that gives him confidence that he'd win the Blood Rite. I love Lucien, but he hasn't unlocked the Day Court powers properly yet and has not trained them, so he's at a disadvantage although we know he can fight. I also headcanon that Azriel is scared of fire because of his hands, so I wouldn't be rushing to fight somebody whose power is fire, if I was him. The Blood Rite has no winners. If Azriel killed Lucien, it would cause a war between Autumn and Night (you think Beron wouldn't take it as a slight, even if his son is exiled) and perhaps even Day when the truth comes to light. They lose a valuable asset in Lucien due to his ties to many courts. Further, Lucien is still Elain's mate. The loss of a mate can affect the other terribly. If Lucien killed Azriel then he'd be outcast from the Night Court or Cassian/Mor would probably try and get revenge. Elain would likely never talk to him again. It's just so stupid to even think about doing it. 3. I absolutely love the shift in tone when he goes to the House of Wind. He sits on the lawn of the river estate in the cold to calm himself down then Gwyn is in the ring - shadows don't warn him because they can't wait to play with her. He immediately shows concern, asking if she's cold. She makes him snort when she kicks him out then she teases him. His restlessness settles when she smiles at him. Then their interaction ends with him ensuring again that she doesn't stay too long or she'll be too cold. Their easy conversation is so at odds with the nervous, hesitant exchange he has with Elain where his thoughts are pre-occupied with how wrong it is for his ruined hands to touch her. He demonstrates with a sword for Gwyn and not once does he think of his hands. Their conversation is easier, he's calmer during it, his shadows want to stay and watch. Although re-gifting is not great, I think the necklace is symbolic for his heart. He's had it prepared for Elain, he's hesitant to give it to her, doesn't think he should be touching her as he places the chain around her neck. It's returned. Rejected. He has every intention of returning it to the store then diverts course and it's given to Gwyn unexpectedly. I also think it's interesting that when Rhys asks "What of Mor?" Azriel chooses to ignore the question rather than answering it. It would be easy to say "I'm over her", so why doesn't he? He even reflects on the fact he'd been ready to enact the Blood Duel when he'd found her in the woods - been ready to die in her honour.
