ravenpaw having a habit of Making Shit Up makes tpb make SO much more sense

It's honestly a detail that fascinates me about early TPB, it's a huge shame we never got another storyteller like early Ravenpaw, and that it vanished in all following material.

I mega appreciate the early series weirdness of Into The Wild. The elders kvetching at the Gathering, the implication of more social hierarchy, the juicy dynamic between the three main apprentices. Ravenpaw being a storyteller who is KNOWN for playing up his stories is fascinating!

There's a scene where Fireheart confronts Bluestar with his accusations against Tigerclaw, he brings up Ravenpaw's account, and Bluestar’s like, "....ok but are you Sure that Ravenpaw can be trusted here? Listen, I'm not going to bring my deputy crashing down based on no good proof."

And I think about it a lot. Bluestar is TOO fair. This is going to backfire on her, and I think TPB becomes such an interesting read when you realize that. Her fairness, honor, and nobility comes back to bite her in the ass over and over, until she's staring down her death at the fangs of Thistleclaw's apprentice. Like he's back from the dead. It's all been in vain.

So like, yeah, for BB, Ravenpaw's storytelling quirk is back, forever a MAJOR part of his character, and I'm going to try and emphasize it as best as I can so it's not forgotten again. Especially as a kit he would Make Shit Up.
