After some struggling, you four were on the ground, unharmed. Unfortunately, someone of you scared Dr. Edith (you aren't sure, if it was the landing itself, Nikolai's jokes, Chuuya's curses, Kunikida's demands of " be serious, you two" or your attempts to make everyone calm down), making her ran away. Your first impression on locals already weren't good.

Still, it wasn't the reason to stay in the wilderness. You four decided to go to Mondstadt, and ask for help.

🍷🤡📒 The walk wasn't that bad. Weather was good, Kunikida was talking about what he knew about survival in the wilderness, just in case, if you need to camp outside.

Then, something strange happened.

You have met Chloris. You thought, that you got lost and wandered too far from Mondstadt. But, the girl bowed before you, and, with "Star born All-Creator, I was ready to go to the Cathedral, and gave you today's offerings! Thank you for gracing me with your presence. Let me gave you my offerings to you right now."

Chloris particularly shoved a bouquet of windwheel asters into your hands, bowed again and skipped away, before any of you can react.

Chuuya raised an eyebrow.

"Mmm... [Y/N], My Symphony... Do you have any idea, what happened?"

You shake your head.

"No... And I have a bad feeling about it."

🍷🤡📒 Good news, you didn't get lost, Chloris simply get too close to Mondstadt, that she usually did in the game. You reached Cider Lake in ten minutes after meeting with the girl. Bad news, you were 'welcomed' with a pitchfork mob, with shouts of "Imposter! You and your sinful servants will be purged with holy fire!"

Kunikida, Chuuya and Nikolai, probably, could ignore the mob's treats, if they were aimed only at them. But, threats towards you were the biggest mistake, people of Mondstadt could have made.

Kunikida stayed near you, while Chuuya and Nikolai were creating chaos in the crowd.

At the end, you four left, and Mondstadt city required a major renovation.

🍷🤡📒 Before you could leave Mondstadt region, Albedo found you. You get a lot of valuable information from him and camp equipment. The journey won't be an easy one. You wanted to left Chloris's bouquet with Albedo, asking him to bring flowers to the church of that mysterious Creator, but the alchemist refused. He insisted, that you should keep it. That that bouquet, prays, everything, that people brought to the church and Ivory Throne should have been yours.

You were sure, that Albedo was mistaken about you. You weren't Creator.

🍷You were in Liyue. You four were camping in the wilderness. And everyone were doing their best. You were careful. And you always have either Chuuya, or Nikolai, or Kunikida near you.

You and Chuuya were trying to gather food. While you were trying to catch fishes, Chuuya was trying to catch a boar. You don't know, how far Chuuya went, but, he was far enough to not notice Beidou immediately.

Claymore of Crux's captain was pressed against your neck. She bared her teeth.

"Got you, Sinner..."

Chuuya, with a loud yell, dropped from above, landing close to you. He immediately grabbed you, saving from the crumbled earth under your feet. Beidou wasn't that lucky. She fell down, buried under rubble and earth. You can see, how she tried to claw her way up. Still, it will take her a few hours to get back on the surface.

Chuuya picked you up, running with you towards the camp. The familiar red glow of "Upon the Tainted Sorrow" covered you both.

"Sorry, [Y/N], for being late. Are you okay?"

You nodded, leaning your head on Chuuya's shoulder.

"Yes. Thank you for saving me".

📒 Beidou's defeat leads her to have a number of serious injuries. It also robs you from the chance of getting to Inazuma. According to Xingqiu, you four had to travel in empty crates, hiding, until the ship reach Inazuma. And Crux's captain will be fine with taking shipping crates without looking into them, if Feiyun Commerce Guild require not to touch them. But, the team refused to sail without Beidou and other ships have stricter rules.

So, you went to Sumeru.

Everything was fine.

Nahida tried to help you. Collei went against Tighnari's orders to help you (Kunikida, as a 'thank you', helped her with mathematic).

And, yet, you were discovered. And gad to flee.

You don't know, in Tighnari supposed to be in Apam Woods.

But he was here, it was raining, and you had to be cautious both of his arrows and Bloom reaction.

You hardly managed to jumped away from the Dendro Core explosion, and Tighnari already had the next arrow ready.

Kunikida, who threw the next forest ranger on the ground, finally had a moment to grab a prepared list from his notebook from his pocket. Kunikida barked.

"Back off from My Ideal! The Matchless Poet: stun gun!"

With one hand, Doppo grabbed you by the collar and yanked behind him, with the second hand, he aimed and fired.

Electricity stan Tighnari, and forest rangers, that stood near him. Nearest Dendro Cores turned into a Sprawling Shot.

The commotion gave you four a good opportunity to ran away.

When you were somewhat safe, Kunikida checked on you.

"You weren't stunned, [Y/N]?" Kunikida was panicking. You reassuringly pet his shoulder.

"I am fine, thanks to you."

🤡After Sumeru come Fontaine. Melusines were real sweethearts, letting you four stay in Merusea Village. Nikolai with his magic tricks became a new star for melusines. Furina, who, with Navia, helped you with getting here, confessed you, once, that she would like to see Nikolai's performance on Opera Epiclese's stage.

Melusines supposed to keep your stay a secret. Yet, somehow, Lyney, Lynette and Freminet learned about you four.

Were it Freminet, who was diving near the village, who got a glimpse of you?

Were it illusionists duo, who saw, how some melusines tried to re-create Nikolai's tricks?

It doesn't matter "how".

What matters, that you were captured. On Opera Epiclese's stage, with Freminet, Lyney and Lynette not letting you escape. You saw people of Fontaine, sitting in the audience, waiting for your demise, for Arlecchino's and Neuvillette's arrival.

Yet, different people arrived.

In a golden-white tornado, Nikolai appeared. Chuuya and Kunikida, who arrived with him, fall on the stage, still not experienced with traveling by "The Overcoat".

"IT'S SHOWTIME! ASSISTANT DOPPO?" Nikolai's voice echoed through the Opera.

Everyone was stunned. Kunikida stand up, glared at Nikolai, but took a small MP3 Player from his pocket and pressed "Play". Sounds of "Entry of the gladiators" filled the air.

Chuuya tried to release you from your bindings. While Nikolai...

"QUIZ TIME! WHAT MUST BE QUICK RIGHT NOW?"

Nikolai, with a mad grin, disappeared again. With an explosion of confetti and streamers (they were probably made of documents, angry at Neuvillette melusines gave Nikolai), he appeared behind Lynette. He leveled her with a frightful, delightful roundhouse kick that made Nikolai's cape whip about whilst he circled.

"RIGHT! YOUR THINKING!"

Nikolai disappeared again, leaving behind confetti, streamers and a broken jaw.

"HEY, DRIVER BOY, WANNA GO FOR A MARRY-GO-ROUND RIDE?"

Nikolai grabbed Freminet by the legs and swung him at Lyney. Males collide with a terrific meaty smack.

Nikolai, with his makeshift weapon, disappeared. And reappeared in the audience.

Making several three-hundred-and-sixty-degree swipes, Nikolai sent people tumbling all around him, and then he tossed away Freminet on unconscious Lynette, jumping over the heap of bodies that were piled around him.

Nikolai returned to the stage, bowing.

"Ah, what a nice performance..."

Then he immediately grabbed your shoulders, take a good look at you, and hugged you.

"Are you okay, Birdy? They didn't hurt you, right? Should I hit them more?"

You quickly shushed him.

"Everything is fine, Kolya. You made it in time."

You weren't that lucky, so you four had to fight again.

Chuuya was a literal tank in your group, dealing with the strongest attacks.

Kunikida's stun gun made a good weapon against Neuvillette's hydro attacks.

Nikolai, with "The Overcoat" and, this time, with unconscious Luney, gave a hard time to Arlecchino.

You were tried. You wanted to go home.

Your emotions reached its peak.

Portal appeared under your feet.

🐾 BSD Cast expected, that you four can be anywhere. They don't expect you four appeared in the barn. With two unconscious people on the floor. With Nikolai, hitting a strange woman with a third unconscious person. With Kunikida, aiming a stun gun at said woman. With Chuuya, protecting you from the said woman. What an odd thing to say…

Are you sure you’re accusing right person of pedophilia and violence? Let’s break down his life step by step, focusing on his interactions with children and discussing the so-called “abuse cycle” where he allegedly played the role of the initiator.

The first child who fell into his hands was Akiko Yosano, a girl whose ability was valuable to the state during the Great War. Mori did not view her as a person but as a useful ability user. “Thou Shalt Not Die”—the power to heal those on the brink of death—was exactly what the government needed during the war. They wanted eternal soldiers, and Mori exploited that.

Mori Ougai cherishes Yokohama. He considers the city his home and believes no one should disturb its peace. Even so, this does not justify his exploitation of a young girl and the soul-shattering actions he committed. Mori seeks advantage in everyone—that is a fact. But let’s set that aside. Deep down, he would have wanted to care for and cherish Yosano as if she were his own daughter if given the chance. This is evidenced by the fact that Elise was modeled after Yosano: a capricious, little girl who craves attention and is always indulged by Mori. He even admits to Yosano that he finds it hard to refuse her. Additionally, his words about “his Yosano” carried a protective tone. A little girl among a group of grown men—it’s common for fathers to express similar sentiments when in “protective mode” (let’s call it that).

Later, when he wanted to recruit her into the Mafia, her abilities were, once again, his primary concern. This is further supported by ��Storm Bringer”, where it’s explicitly stated that mafia members were forced to seek treatment at state hospitals for severe injuries and that Doc was their prized possession. Doc, whom Albatross was so desperate to save. Still, this does not change the fact that Mori cares for Elise the way he wishes he could have cared for Yosano—or any other child. In private with Elise, he doesn’t need to act like the terrifying, authoritative mafia boss. Through Elise, he expresses the emotions he cannot show publicly. Children are his solace. Caring for them is his deepest desire.

Do you honestly believe that joke about younger children wasn’t just a jest shared with Koyo Ozaki? Amusing.

Osamu Dazai—a boy Mori Ougai saved from suicide. People say Mori tormented him and drove him to such a state. But it was Mori who saved him. He tried to pull Dazai out of his despair. The boy came to him already damaged, traumatized long before Mori found him in the river. As always, Mori saw an opportunity and used the boy, whose life was hanging by a thread, in a plan Dazai himself helped formulate and actively participated in. Mori didn’t force him into it. He offered a deal. There was no cycle of abuse initiated.

Chuuya Nakahara was a small obstacle, and a deal was proposed to him as well—a harsh one, but Chuuya accepted it. Later, Chuuya willingly bowed to Mori, without any deals, choosing on his own to become his subordinate. Mori is one of the people who helped Chuuya find his parents’ home, told him about the pencil scar, and went out of his way to gather all that information for him.

Yumeno is a particularly difficult case. A child born with such a horrifying ability needed to be restrained. They ended up in the Mafia’s hands, where their power could be controlled and made useful. Yumeno’s ability is good for little else besides chaos.

In the “BEAST” universe, we finally see a happy Mori. Ougai becomes the new director of an orphanage, and the children there are incredibly happy. Even the manga conveys the difference in atmosphere. Under the previous director, everything was gloomy and dark. When Mori arrives, the background suddenly turns white, and the curtains add a sense of lightness to the space. It finally feels like a place where both the children and Ougai can breathe freely—where he is exactly where he belongs.

“And until then—I am your father.” Do you think these are the words of a true pedophile and child abuser?

Chuuya & The Port Mafia [meta]

[ WARNING; LIGHT NOVEL FIFTEEN SPOILERS/MANGA SPOILERS] This is just my opinion and It’s been stewing in my brain for awhile. The resurgence of uwu fanon Chuuya gave me the strength to spew it all out When fifteen first came out I answered a question (that I can’t find now) about Chuuya and him wanting to leave the Port Mafia or being unhappy (I can’t remember it exactly) and while I stand by most of what I said there are a few things that have changed since translations came out and I was able to look more in depth with what happened. Of course bones absolutely fucked up the entire 15 novel I don’t even consider the two-episode story canon but that’s another conversation. I was under the impression Chuuya was not forced into the mafia in an obvious way, more that Dazai tricked him into it. Which he did, BUT Mori leveraged the sheep against Chuuya saying he would kill them unless Chuuya joined. At this point Dazai had shoved the idea, that came to be factual, that the sheep no longer trusted Chuuya. That was Dazai’s plan all along. Why? Because Mori promised to show Dazai how to kill himself painlessly if he gathered intel on Arahabaki and convinced Chuuya to join the port mafia.  Current canon Chuuya is content with being in the Port Mafia. I stated before that he was happy, and while I think he is satisfied with his position and his life protecting Yokohama (he has offered his life up twice in canon to save the city, not the Port Mafia) I believe he has settled.  The Perspective of Fifteen He joined the Port Mafia by force in order to protect the people he cared for despite them turning against him. Mori leveraged The Sheep’s betrayal (orchestrated by Dazai) knowing the type of person Chuuya was even as a teenager. Chuuya felt he was at fault for The Sheep betraying him and Mori preyed on that weakness with the help of Dazai sewing the seeds of doubt in Chuuya’s head beforehand. Chuuya vows his commitment to the Port Mafia because that is the only choice he had. Feeling guilty about The Sheep Chuuya took it upon himself to be better and to learn how to be a leader despite what the Port Mafia had done to him. It took me awhile to figure out why Chuuya would become so loyal to the people who literally ripped apart is only family on purpose, and then I realized it is because Chuuya only blames himself for it.  He doesn’t blame the Port Mafia or see it for the nefarious backstage puppeteering it was, at fifteen he has already put high expectations on himself because of his power. He was supposed to protect them and he failed, so they no longer trusted him.  The argument that the sheep used Chuuya is a bit ridiculous to me because Chuuya openly offered up protecting. Chuuya cares deeply about the sheep they were his first family. They all protected each other, but yes Chuuya was the main source because of his ability. Dazai pointed out the sheep were using Chuuya as a ploy to play on the emotions Chuuya was feeling since he was already searching for the truth about himself and knew he was Arahabaki before Dazai did. The Port Mafia ‘uses’ Chuuya in the exact same way, if you’re going to stick to that argument for the sheep.  Dazai wasn’t coming to ‘rescue Chuuya’ from the sheep. He manipulated Chuuya away from them using Chuuya’s own insecurities then twisted them against him to further isolate Chuuya thus giving Mori the room to swoop in and have Chuuya in his ranks rather than fighting against him. Mori then baited Chuuya with information about himself that he rightfully deserved without having to be the Port Mafia’s singular line of defense. Why was Mori so focused on getting Chuuya on his side rather  Because. at 15, Chuuya could decimate a large portion of the Port Mafia. Chuuya is a powerhouse without full reign of Corruption. It was tactically smarter to have Chuuya as an ally not an enemy. Under Chuuya’s rule if he were allowed to grow without the constraints of the Port Mafia The Sheep could have become a very strong enemy fighting for territory against the Port Mafia. Current Canon Perspective Like Kouyou, Chuuya is powerful enough to leave on his own. But for what? Mori did an irrevocable job at ensuring Chuuya’s only relationship/’family’ was the Port Mafia from fifteen on. Isolation is a powerful tactic and one Mori has been seen using time and time again. As did the former boss. (Example; Koyou).  Chuuya is content. He’s always had criminal tendencies given he grew up on the street and would have probably formed his own strong organization with the sheep if there was no other interference. But Mori made sure Chuuya was blind to what he could have out in the world and kept Chuuya’s blind loyalty in a vice grip. Chuuya settled for the Port Mafia because to him there was nothing else. He cares for his fellow mafia members and subordinates because that’s just how Chuuya is. He’s caring and soft-hearted despite the violence and chaos he thrives in.  Will Chuuya ever leave the Port Mafia? Probably not, unless something happens in the way it did with Odasaku & Dazai. But, in order for that to happen Chuuya would have to have a deep relationship with someone however his dedication and workaholic tendencies make that a very, very low chance especially with Mori still sitting on the throne. .

Port Mafia. A place [Name] had come to call home over her stay and work there. At least that’s what she had forced herself to believe, wanting to escape the unwanted thoughts of 𝙝𝙞𝙢.

Her parents abandoning her had been the beginning of her destruction, the beginng of her becoming a monster, forcing her feelings away to the point one could question if she had ever felt anything. She had to learn the act of survival if she wanted to continue living in this world, and that’s what she did. It all started with stealing small amounts of food, barely enough to keep her breathing. She was 10 years old, food was all she needed. At least that’s what she thought. In the passing of years, the feeling of anger had become consuming, and there were times when she could only see red. Having come to the conclusion that her parents were in fault of her condition, she decided only one thing was to be done. 𝘒𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮, 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘴𝘶𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶. 𝘚𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥. Those were the only thoughts that had been crossing her mind while she was planning their deaths. It took her one whole week, everything had to be calculated, thought through, every single detail, every single outcome. Everything had to be perfect. It was going to be her first murder, after all. Arriving at the place she had found out to be her parents’ apartment, she was shocked to see police cars. She had hoped that, whatever that had happened was, it wouldn’t be in the way of her getting therevenge she needed. Oh, if she only knew. The only information she had gathered before being sent away, was that her parents had been murdered by an organization called Port Mafia. The anger she had felt was indescribable. All these days of planning, gone to a waste in just a few minutes. She had nothing to think about but the injustice she was feeling.

Only a couple of years had passed, but [Name] had changed. Shoulder length hair, full lips, pale face, one could mistaken her for a normal, weak girl, for she looked as fragile as a porcelain doll. But that wasn’t the case. [Name] was a well known murderer in Yokohama. Having improved her martial skills, not having an ability was not a problem for her. She could take down a man 3 times her size in only a matter of seconds. Fallen Angel is what she was called, for someone as pure looking as her could never be considered the devil.

Having taken an interest in her, Ougai Mori, the head of Port Mafia, was set on making her work with him. So, here she was, in his office, sitting next to him, talking about her position in the organization. “You don’t expect me to leave everything I’ve built behind, just to be one of your pawns to use as you please, right?”, challenge was evident in her voice, and the more she talked, the more Ougai was convinced she was a perfect for what he had on mind. “You’re either gonna make me an executive, or don’t bother contacting me ever again.”, if it was anyone else, he would have slit their throat with no regrets, but he knew she was important and could be of use. “Young lady, I’m gonna grand your wish, but don’t even think that you’ve gained my trust just yet.”𝘑𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘐 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘥. “You know, I’m flattered you offer me such a position. Aren’t I the youngest executive here, or something?” Before Ougai was able to to answer, the door swang open, revealing a boy about her age, brown hair, bandages covering his arms, neck and right eye. He looked at the boss, then back at her, before grinning. “Mori-san! Ican’t believe you actually convinced such a beautiful lady to commit double suicide with me! Just how much do you love me?”. Saying that [Name] had been left speechless was an understatement. She had never expected these words to come out of the attractive boy’s mouth, and before she could stop herself, she scoffed “Excuse me?”. Ougai smirked at the young girl glaring at the suicidal idiot, “[Name]-san, let me introduce you to your new partner, Dazai Osamu, also known as Port Mafia’s youngest executive.

Just 3 years after the first time she met him, [Name] found herself quite fond of her suicide-obsessed partner. She often felt concerned about the brunette’s behavior, for she knew his giddy personality was just an act, the emptiness in his eyes way to evident not to notice. Unfortunately, every time she confronted him about her thoughts, his answer was the same. “Now, I wouldn’t want my precious [Name]-chan to worry about me, would I?”, followed by the infamous putt of his lips, and a quick hug, that always managed to make strong butterflies erupt in the girl’s stomach, and her pulse to quicken. She silently hoped he wasn’t aware of the effect he had on her, or else she would never hear the end of it.

The day had come. The day [Name] was gonna confess her feelings to Dazai. How he made her forget about the pain she had been hiding, how the anger she had been feeling towards her parents had gone away, how she had forgotten about her plan to ruin Port Mafia for taking the enjoinment of killing her parents away, how happy she was feeling when she was with him.

She had thought it through. Everything was supposed to be perfect, Dazai was supposed to accept her, she knew he cared about her. So, why was he standing in front of her, looking at her with an unreadable look that reminded her of apathy and disgust, spitting those hurtful words at her, breaking her fragile little heart in the process? “What do you mean you don’t know what I’m talking about? I see the way you look at me, I know you care about me, and I know that, deep down, you just a kind, broken boy. P-Please, Dazai, give me a chance to love you, to fix you.”. She was seriously trying not to cry, eyes stinking, lip quivering, the lump in her throat growing more painful, while waiting for his response. She opened her heart to him, showed him parts of you even she didn’t know existed, and the only thing she got from him in return was a mocking laugh. His laughter died after a couple of minutes, and he looked at her seriously, muttering words in a tone so unkown to you, that made her insides turn and her blood run cold. “Foolish girl, how could you even think someone like me could ever love someone like you? Putting up with your pathetic excuse of a life doesn’t mean I’ve ever cared about you. Do you know how hard it was not to tell you to fuck off everytime you came to me, asking for help? You’re lucky I’m not killing you on the spot about the nonsense you were spouting just a moment ago.” His words left her fighting to breathe, for she never knew you were gonna be told something so hateful by the person she cared about the most. 𝘕𝘰, 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘮𝘦. 𝘕𝘰𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘰𝘰. Falling to the ground, she couldn’t help but reach a hand out to him, hoping that maybe, just maybe, he would help her up, take you in his arms and take the pain away, like he had done so many times before. The urge to give in, to love her just how she wanted him to was so unbearable and painful, that he felt like a thousand needles were piercing through his body, especially his heart. He knew what he had to do to keep he4 safe, and only shot her a fake smile, before turning around and disappearing in the dark, cold night, feeling like he had made the worst and most painful decision of his life.

4 years have passed, and not a single day goes by without her thinking or dreaming about him. If she had known he was going to leave Port Mafia, she would have hold on tighter, tried harder. Maybe, she would have helped him out, leaving with him, escaping a life full of crime and death. And after all this time, seeing a tall guy wearing a brown trenchcoat and bandages over his arms and neck standing in front of her, she thinks she's daydreaming, it wouldn't be the first time anyway. But no, she could never forget his voice or the way he said her name. “[Name]-chan! Look at you, you haven’t changed at all!”. Now, that was a lie. She has grown thinner, and the bright eyes he used to love are now staring back at him lifelessly. “It’s a shame I’m with the ADA now, I would love to commit a lovers' double suicide with you ” She doesn't asnwer. She can't answer.
