Felix approached Theo quietly, his steps crunching softly in the snow. Without a word, he wrapped the Hufflepuff in a warm hug from behind, his chin briefly resting atop her head as he swept a bit of snow from her hair.

"You look like you've been caught in a snow globe," he murmured.

Out on her walk, Theo startles slightly at the sudden rush of warmth that envelops her. She stiffens slightly until she hears the voice of her favorite Swede. She stubbornly peeks an eye up towards the tall Ravenclaw, who uses her head as a chin rest! She lets it slide (this time) and relaxes against him. 

“A snow globe?” She wonders out loud, smiling softly as he sweeps the snow from her tangled hair and thinks to herself, what luck to have found such good company in the beautiful storm.

“It’s certainly not a bad place to be caught.”

Spades Slick is great because his entire character operates on a Problem Sleuth level of bullshit rather than standard HS bullshit (in fact, a lot of the Midnight Crew revolves around the fact that they're a pseudo-sequel to PS)

He shows up, makes himself an inconvenience to the Felt, uses time travel to kill off the remaining members (sometimes killing them twice), becomes Karkat's exile for a bit, makes himself an inconvenience to Doc Scratch by setting his house(?) on fire, makes out with Snowman out of spite, then kills Snowman and ends their universe, brings back the Felt so that they can help him, shows up during Collide because he wants to fight Jack English and then dies.

All because Lord English blew up his casino.

Amazing character growth.
