Sonic As A Villain

I don’t have a name for him, but this is my interpretation of Sonic as a villain. Here’s a hint, imagine if you noticed it, but not through his personality.

I’ve seen many interpretations of Sonic as a villain and instead of having him be a Sonic but on a bad day like Scourge. Sonic but dark and more violent like in Sonic X. Or Sonic but insane like Fleetway or Chaos Sonic, let’s have something different.

Have you ever noticed how Sonic can always manipulate a situation? He does it a bunch when he fights or interacts with people. It’s almost never in a negative way, but it does come across as a bit prideful and egotistical. Usually everything ends up going his way or has to go his way.

I believe if Sonic was ever to be a villain, he’d be a master manipulator. Funnily enough Sonic barely ever lies about things in most continuities, but at the same time is able to trick people or bend things to his will whenever he needs to. I’d like to think a villainous Sonic would be perceived as a good guy. Like standing up for Tails, but instead of moving on and letting Tails join him, Sonic manipulates Tails into beating up the bullies who bullied him.

He’d make Amy feel as if she doesn’t need to fend for herself and tell her to rely on him whenever she needs help. Or tell Knuckles to never trust anyone or ends up not inspiring him, so Knuckles stays antagonistic and untrusting. He’d inspire people to be the worst versions of themselves. Therefore creating a toxic atmosphere. Ideas like that.

This Sonic would be one who’d not care about being famous or rule over anything like a dictator. He’s like normal Sonic in a sense that he goes by his own rules, but it’d be for the worst intentions. He also takes advantage that he’s fast and uses his speed as a weapon. Destroying homes, pulling pranks, stealing, messing up the ecosystem, and all that jazz. He might save the world if it meant he didn’t have to die. But he doesn’t care if some Egg-shaped scientist is destroying the world. As long as he’s not bothering Sonic, why should he care? If he does go against Eggman or any other villains, he’d most likely kill them on the spot. Not out of heroism, but just out of spite. He doesn’t like being bothered.

When he says he doesn’t mind being the bad guy, he means it literally. He’d lack the emotional depth Sonic has and be a caricature of the “Cool guy being a jerk” trope. He doesn’t care if he’s seen as evil or not. He just likes causing mischief. No tragic backstory for him. Sonic’s the way he is because he chooses to be. That includes when he’s the bad guy.

He could act like a good guy in front of a crowd, but in reality, he’s causing the issues people believe he’s saved them from. All you gotta do with an evil version of him is turn his best/worst attributes of his personality and crank them to 100. He doesn’t have to be wild and crazy about it. He’d be just as chill and laid back as normal Sonic. Except he enjoys the chaos around him. Unlike other evil interpretations he’s the most similar to normal Sonic. And it makes things so much worse when he causes problems.

This isn’t the perfect idea, but I do like the concept of Sonic but evil in a way that almost doesn’t change his morals/personality.

I think it looks so much better. Not quality-wise though but with how I want the charters to look like. (and bc I felt like it wasn't drawing in my style)

Anyway, I removed Prime!Sonic since he's literally just a younger Mainline!Sonic storywise, and added British-boy Fleetway!Sonic.

Here's some more explanations of what inspired me to draw them like this (the new drawing not the old one):

Boom is American, but in the way that white people move to Hawaii, lol. He wairs mostly tropical clothing/swimwear since he lives on an island, but he wears the full body swimsuit underneath in order to advoid touching water as much as posible. I also thought it would be funny if I gave him crocs for his shoes; put in sport mode for MAX speed.

Mainline get's to be mixed -American & Japanese- because I think it would be cool to include his Japan origins since he's the OG Sonic :) . Gave him a basic fit that I think he could run pretty easily in, and biased his shoes off of the Summer Sonic skin in Sonic-Speed-Sim :3 Not much else to say other than that I added his scar from being killed by Memphis Tennessee and top-scars. (lol)

Movie/Paramount is Native American not only because I said so but because the Mobian culture in the movies are shown to be tribal and the owls in Native American culture are seen as wise and powerful - so Longclaw would make/is an amazing mentor/guardian; their-for it matches. Plus the totem pols around the island Sonic grew up on and his little lether booties aren't helping. And the Thunder (refereeing to Sonic's power) Bird (Longclaw being an owl/who Sonic was raised by) connection to Native culture was to hard to ignore: A thunderbird is an animal/mythical creature from their stories. -His shirt and gloves are the last things he has from when he lived out in the forest alone, he couldn't bear giving up/throwing away his favorite pair of gloves and shirt.

BRITISH BOY FLEETWAY IS BRITT, BC IN THE COMICS HES IN IS FROM BITTIAN. but his outfit is inspired by those Russian teens that always wear that one brand of clothing tho... Nothing else to say other than that he's BRITTISH (Apologizes to any British person reading this, its not meant to be read in a degrading way in any shape or form)

Sorry for disappearing for another month -& Ik my last post was only a couple of weeks ago, it just feels like a while-, I have been terribly busy, but I know for now that I have the time to be working on Corusation for a while now. :3 So look forward to that ^v^

Your sonic the rot au-- You've stated that a person can be cured if they go super.. So this begs a FEW little questions. 1. Sonic has passed the point of no return HOWEVER the emeralds have restored his life before, so let's get to question #1.. if Sonic somehow turned super.. would he be revived or would we have an infected super sonic? 2. If super forms CAN kill the virus, how would the virus react to Fleetway? Since he IS super sonic, albeit evil. They wouldn't be able to infect him, right? Would it be afraid? 3. Back to question one in a way.. since the chaos emeralds have restored his life before, the same thing could be done for others. (If you're wondering when this was, it was in Sonic 06. And you DID say you're following the ingame continuity.) So would the chaos emeralds be able to wish everyone infected back to life if they were to use the warp topaz? DR. Starline said it himself that it can cause MASSIVe changes with just a little charge! Pump the power of super shadow through it, and he should be able to undo everything in one fell swoop. If it exists.. if not, shadow could do something similar with the phantom ruby. 4. Is Silver infected as well? If he wasn't I think it'd be cool if Silver and Shadow were some sort of apocalypse duo, surviving the terrors together. Also, how DID shadow get infected? Did Sonic get the jump on him?? Please answer both. 5. Lastly, how did Sonic get infected? He's patient zero so he had to be infected, I'm placing my bets that Eggman infected him with it, and possibly fucked himself because of that.. because if Eggman did create the virus, then it sure as hell isn't following his orders. I imagine Eggman staying locked up in his base if this is the case, if not.. he's very unprepared for what's to happen.

Well, this is a long one. I’ll answer this the best I can

1- perhaps. But if he runs out of rings he would drop dead, as his insides are hollow. There is nothing to restore. The Rot will never ‘go super’. Why would they do something that would kill them?

2-The Rot can’t infect pure chaos energy (which is what I assume super forms to be), so it won’t be able to infect Fleetway. Now, will it be afraid of him? No. As The Rot is incapable of fear. At least, that’s what seems to be the case.

3- the au only follows game continuity, everything outside of the main line games created by the sonic team aren’t cannon (despite tangle being cannon to Frontiers). And despite following main game continuity, it doesn’t follow the same cannon as the games do (just to keep the story a little more interesting so that it’s not just a ‘oh gee this character is better now the day is saved’ kind of deal. It’s meant to be bleak for a reason). The chaos emeralds can’t just magically heal a person when they become super. You could heal someone with them, but to create organs from nothing might be a stretch, even for that. As well, pretty much all of the phantom Ruby prototypes are gone post forces, I assume the real deal as well.

headcanon that sonic is transmasc but rarely wears his binder because it gets in the way of running. he doesnt really mind wearing it or not because everyone respects him anyways. fleetway super on the other hand (plugging my special interest here) was gifted a binder by pyjamas and wears it daily because he likes that it was gift that really meant something to him

also headcanon that ebony gave fleetway chewlery with no other comment other than "you bite it!" so he immediately assumed it was food and almost ate the plastic

What are your thoughts on Sonic.exe? And the various spin-offs that came out of it?

I may lose some points with folks for this but, I'unno! He kinda just exists for me, to be honest! Just another little guy born (probably as a joke) at the very end of the "evil haunted video game" era of creepypastas -- The only couple of those that I enjoyed being Ben Drowned and everything with the Tails Doll. I'm just not too familiar with Sonic.exe outside of the original creepypasta and a little bit of that fangame that got made years ago.

He got popular right before a phase of my life where I'd taken a long break from all things Sonic (save for the comics). Sonic 4 happened, followed by Sonic Lost World, and I got kinda disheartened by the series, outside of what Archie was putting out at the time. I came back years later for Sonic Frontiers and Sonic Prime. Never dropped the comics though. Mourned Archie Sonic, and switched to IDW when that launched. Basically, Sonic.exe flew over my head.

When I was a kid looking for an "evil Sonic" to enjoy, the go-to was either Dark Sonic/Dark Super Sonic or Fleetway's take on Super Sonic (who I still would very much like to draw one of these days). My favorite of those two was Fleetway Super. Dude had an awesome design and was way more fleshed out as a concept. That being said, those two never really lost their popularity -- Fleetway Super Sonic especially. This is one hell of a tangent.

Finally, I just can't take Sonic.exe seriously. He was never meant to be taken seriously, anyway. Like I said, he was definitely for sure meant to be a satirical take on the haunted video game concept. Ain't thinking about him too much! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

STH Rarepair Week Day 5: Fluff

Summary: Out on a run, Shadow gets rudely interrupted by Sonic's inner chaos demon Super Sonic. Though at least for him meeting with Super is less of a life threatening experience and more of a... pleasant one. Not that he'd admit that out loud.

Pairing: Shadow/Fleetway Super Sonic

Warnings: None to be had

Word Count: ~1100 words

AN: I feel like no one should be surprised I've done another thing related to Fleetway stuff. This time technically set in the actual StC continuity. Not that it really matters for this thing lol.

Shadow felt his fur stand on end and came skidding to a halt. That feeling could only mean one thing. His mind raced through several questions. The two most prominent being: was everyone ok and what had happened? Well if he was showing up to Shadow then at least he could be reasonably sure that everyone else was fine. In fact it was possible they’d managed to prompt him to look for Shadow if he hadn’t just done so himself.

“Hey there Shads~” A voice that seemed far too forced rang out behind him.

“Why do you insist on showing up at the worst times Super?” Shadow turned to level a glare at the golden hedgehog, hands tightening into fists. Super Sonic simply grinned back, not at all phased by the hostility. Both of them knew that Shadow likely wouldn’t come out on top if they fought. It was an oddly terrifying thought, but one he’d made peace with a long time ago.

“Not happy to see me?” Super tilted his head, a sharp look in his spiral eyes.

“Do I ever give you the impression that I’m glad to see you?” Shadow huffed.

“Do you want a real answer to that? Or the answer you think you want to hear?” Super sounded amused, any trace of annoyance gone. Shadow simply grimaced and Super’s grin grew. “That’s what I thought.” The golden hedgehog draped himself over Shadow’s shoulders from his floating position and Shadow hated that he actually relaxed at the touch. Chaos energy flowed freely between them in a familiar and comforting act. Something that Shadow had resisted at first, but he quickly learned that he stood no chance against Super in this. Plus he could privately admit to himself it was nice. Sure he’d pulled chaos energy from the emeralds before, but that was a somewhat painful experience just due to the nature of such concentrated chaos energy. With Super it wasn’t forced or overwhelming, so naturally it felt… good. 

“Is there a reason you’re here?” Shadow kept his tone neutral despite him feeling himself unwind at Super’s contact.

"Isn't you being here enough of a reason?" Super hummed, pulling Shadow closer to him. Shadow really wished he wanted to pull away but he didn't. Not that Super would let him anyway.

"You know what I meant. Don't deliberately play dumb with me. I thought we were past that?" Shadow tried to swat away Super's hand when the other hedgehog moved to try and mess with his quills. Unfortunately he wasn't trying very hard and Super got his way.

Super hummed, sounding almost bored. "What can I say, Sonic got careless and I had to bail him out as usual. I figure I deserve a reward for being so nice and not trying to kill his stupid friends"

"They're all alright?" Shadow asked, mostly out of a sense of obligation. He was fairly certain he knew the answer though.

"They're no more ruffed up than what Robotnik did to them. As nice as it would have been to go after them I'd much rather come see you." Super moved his hand to scratch behind Shadow's ear. 

Finally Shadow allowed himself to relax completely. If there was one thing he could trust it was Super being honest with him; he simply had no reason to lie. Plus if Super was with him he wasn't hurting anyone. It didn't hurt that he enjoyed the chaos demon's company either. He just couldn't enjoy it fully until he knew Super hadn't hurt anyone. “Fine.” Shadow huffed.

“There you are.” Super chuckled. “Was it really so hard to believe that I didn’t hurt anyone?” There was a clearly forced innocent tone to his voice.

“Do you want the real answer to that? Or the answer you think you want to hear?” Shadow barely held back an amused grin.

“Using my own words against me? How low.” Super growled, but Shadow knew he wasn’t actually upset.

"Being in your presence requires me to stoop to such methods." Shadow sighed. "How long do you have anyway?"

Super hummed. "Not long." He huffed, ears drooping. "Took longer than expected to deal with Robotnik."

"A shame." Shadow honestly wasn't sure how much of his own comment was sarcasm and how much was genuine disappointment.

"Awe, is mister ultimate lifeform sad he can't spend more time with me?" Super practically purred as he gently messed up Shadow's quills.

"Hardly." Shadow batted Super's hand away. Super chuckled but gave up and went back to scratching Shadow's ear.

Super finally let himself land on the ground. Shadow felt the chaos demon's full weight suddenly land on his shoulders. The only reason he didn't complain was because of the exchange of chaos energy forcing him to relax. Well perhaps it wasn't forcing him, but that is certainly what he'd claim if asked. "Is there a reason you still act so mean to me?" Super lifted some of the weight from Shadow's shoulders. "We both know you don't actually hate me."

"You're far more tolerable than Sonic." Shadow huffed. "Though that bar is low."

"Ah yes." Super pulled his arms off of Shadow and walked around to be in front of him. "You've complained about him plenty to me." He sighed happily. "Music to my ears." He pointed at Shadow, finger against his chest. "That's why I like you."

Shadow's eyes trailed down to Super's hand. Without really thinking about it he grabbed Super's hand and pulled it away. Super looked amused until Shadow linked their fingers. The look of shock on the other hedgehog's face made Shadow wish he had a camera. It wasn't often he could catch Super off guard. Shadow rose a brow in question as he fought to keep an amused smile off his face.

Several emotions passed over Super's face, eventually it settled on quiet contemplation. "Huh." The golden hedgehog looked oddly calm. It honestly was sort of nice to see him like that. Shadow in an odd way privileged that he was the only one to see him like this. Well nearly the only one.

"Do you have enough time to visit the Groovy Train? I believe Ebony and Pajamas would be happy to see you." Shadow gently pulled Super to his side.

Super perked up a little bit. "You just want to go there because they let you buy straight coffee beans you nutter." He looked away, his expression morphing into something more neutral.

"I'll take your lack of disagreement as a yes." Shadow did finally let a small smile grace his face. As much as he liked to put up a front he did like Super. It was an odd relationship for sure, but it was one he was glad for. At the very least Super could understand the struggle of trying to keep chaos energy under control.

The first thing he detected was light.

Blinding, glaring, blazing light that burned his pupils from underneath his eyelids. The experience was not too unfamiliar to him: many a time in that sterile lab did he have a lamp shone directly in his face, blinding him temporarily.

But this time, the light carried a strange warmth. It soaked his fur in gold, and as he opened his eyes more, he saw it made the fragmented shards of glass around him glow intensely, making the green blood splattered across them barely visible. ---

Amy squinted at the card. She knew what pulling the Fool as her Future meant. The figure, back drawn against the first two pulls, walked, one foot past the edge of the cliff, not seeing the bottomless pit; to get what she sought, she too had to abandon her Past and Present and jump into the unknown. She was all too familiar with the Fool–

“What are you doing?”

The voice that spoke in Amy’s head–she could only make it apart from her own thoughts by the grave quality of it, the voice he borrowed from Sonic–was void of any real curiosity.

Into, Across and Beyond! Scripting: The Big Chase

Outside of the Quill Society HQ's meeting room in Many More Heroes, an alarm started blaring, confusing many Quill Society members who heard it.

OMT!Tails (through their communicators): All stations, drop what you're doing and stop that Sonic!

Quill Society Sonics: pointing fingers at each other in confusion

OMT!Tails: Darn it, sorry. I meant LM, the one with the red eyes of evil! He's headed for Sector 4!

The person who entered Sector 4 first was Chaos Adventure Sonic, which is the first to catch the attention of those spending time there.

CA!Sonic: Er, is something on my quills or something? What's the whole stare contest for?

OMT!Tails (from down that hallway): CA, he's right behind you!

SS!Amy (from down the same hallway): Turn around!

CA!Sonic: Huh? (turns around) I don't see anything...

OMT!Tails: Maybe feel behind you?

When he DID turn around, LM!Sonic was revealed, trying to hide behind him, and with his cover blown, the present Quill Society members quickly identified their target.

SunFIRE: That's our guy!

ZX Spectrum and Game.com Sonics: *indecipherable beeping*

LM!Sonic: O-Oh! Hehe...

CA!Sonic managed to feel LM!Sonic behind him.

CA!Sonic (quite casually, like in RodentRap/Sonic Legacy): Oh, there you are!

LM!Sonic: Aw, crud...

(Mini trivia: Alongside that story's version of Sonic, Chaos Adventure's counterparts of Amy and Cream are in the Quill Society as well, the former mainly to ensure Sonic doesn't get into more trouble than it's worth.)

Cue the big chase, with many members working to get after LM!Sonic and apprehend him however they could, whilst OMT!Tails and SS!Amy headed toward the space elevator. And on one area, LM!Sonic was attacked by a mini version of Sonic's Werehog state who gave him numerous rough scratches before knocking him downwards.

During the chase, OMT!Tails and SS!Amy had to keep Turbo off their trail.

OMT!Tails: Can this day get any crazier?!

As if on cue, Metallix flew up, targeting the duo.

OMT!Tails: Well, guess it can. Keep moving!

They slipped past and caught sight of the sector where the Transport Hub was; their ticket out of here. But for now, that had to wait.

LM!Sonic was on his way after them, but was halted in his tracks by a Sonic 1 version of Nack the Weasel.

S1 Nack: Alright! Yer askin' for it!

He drew out his cork gun.

S1 Nack: We'll settle it man-to-man! On three! One-!

But LM!Sonic just blasted him out of the way.

S1 Nack: YOU DIDN'T WAIT 'TIL THREEEEEEEEE...

Nitro caught up with April riding on his back.

Nitro: Hey, LM!

LM!Sonic: You again?!

Nitro (holding up his DSi): You mind quickly taking a picture? It's April's first grand-scale chase!

LM just rolled his eyes and zipped off, narrowly avoiding Fleetway Amy's crossbow and Tekno's laser gun.

Nitro: Ah, well.

He simply threw the DSi in the air, letting April leap up and take the picture between them before they kept going. Back with OMT!Tails and SS!Amy, OVA!Knux was letting them ride his horse across the area.

OVA!Knuckles: You need to reach that elevator? Got you covered, kids!

They trotted through the prison area, with a few of the prisoners rooting for the pair (yes, even Scourge, who hates the idea of someone dictating what people can and can't do)... then they started booing Turbo and Metallix as they made pursuit. On the way there, they got off the horse once in the clear as Millie the Fox (CartoonsAnimate22's OC) showed up.

Millie: Are you the Tails from that dimension where you helped kill a shapeshifting beast?

OMT!Tails: Uh, yeah!

Millie: Heh, I knew it! I'm a huge fan of your heroics, Tails!

OMT!Tails: Hehe, thanks!

She turned her attention to the pursuers.

Millie: Hey, you two! Do either of you think us heroes using comedy so much makes us look like we have some screws loose?

Turbo: Uh... what?

Millie: Get it? Screws?

She leapt up and tail-whacked Metallix's head off, causing him to careen down to lower ground.

Metallix: SYSTEM ERROR! NAVIGATION AND TARGETS INACCESSIBLE!

SS!Amy: Heh, nice one! You hang here while we take care of the rest.

Millie: You got it, Amy!

The two heroes continued on their way. Back at the bigger chase, OVA!Sonic leapt forward to attack.

OVA!Sonic: You might know everything we're going to do, but that's not gonna help you, since WE know everything YOU'RE going to do!

However, his slow animation made him outright miss.

OVA!Sonic: Oh, dang it! I really gotta get my speed improved, don't I?

Even after dodging his "meme" counterpart, LM!Sonic still had his work cut out for him, barely avoiding various attacks, such as Sunky and Tlels being launched at him (courtesy of Nicky, who also contributed), RAW better utilising his electric shoes and glider, and Blitz!Tails and Milly swiping at him with his claws and her scythe respectively. Soon enough, LM!Sonic was cornered by many Quill Society AND Blur Gang members on all sides.

Mini Sonic: Nowhere to run now!

LM just resorted to leaping out the window.

Mini Sonic: O-Oh! Heh, my bad, everyone. There was somewhere to run.

Creamy: I blame the one with the anvil.

Mr. Needlemouse (defensive): What? We were tryin' to catch him, don't look at me!

[Mr. NM has a body count :) - MCS]

Outside, OMT!Tails and SS!Amy were freefalling as LM!Sonic continued his pursuit. Fiona caught sight of them, quickly taking Carol's motorbike from her.

Fiona: Sorry, Carol!

Carol (just waking up before noticing): Wha...? Hey! Come back with my bike!

She made pursuit as LM!Sonic started flying after OMT!Tails and SS!Amy.

LM!Sonic: Stop running!

OMT!Tails: Then stop chasing us everywhere!

LM!Sonic: You're so frustrating!

Fiona pulled up on a balcony with the bike as OMT!Mina watched.

Fiona: I know he's your friend, but it's the only way LM isn't going to get angrier.

OMT!Mina: But my gut says-!

Fiona: Then use your head, kid!

CR!Sonic heard this with CR!Sonia and CR!Manik, coming up with a plan whilst slipping away. Fiona attempted to knock them both down with the bike, though OMT!Mina caught them both with webs.

OMT!Mina: Gotcha!

OMT!Tails: M-Mina? You came back for me?

OMT!Mina: I can't just leave you in danger.

OMT!Tails: It's okay, Mina. Me and Amy will handle it together. Just trust us.

They severed the webbing, only to be pinned to a wall by Turbo.

Turbo: I got you cornered now, kids, so don't even- OW!

They both knocked themselves free as they went into the underbelly of Gust Planet, which hadn't been explored in years. The two didn't know where they were to go, but they didn't need to; two enerbeams got them up to the safety of a higher sector.

CR!Sonic: Tails!

OMT!Tails: No no no no! Let us go!

CR!Sonic: It's too crazy to run for too long!

SS!Amy: And running is the least crazy thing we're putting up with right now!

They started looking for a way out.

CR!Sonic: Look... I feel really bad for earlier, buddy.

OMT!Tails: Good.

CR!Sonic: But there's only so many ways we can screw stuff over. If you aren't careful, you won't be able to win!

OMT!Tails ignored him, still looking around as CR!Sonia and CR!Manik got in front of him.

CR!Sonia: Hey, um... I know this isn't the best time, but... do you want to hold one of us?

OMT!Tails: I, er, sorry, I can't-.

CR!Manik: 10 seconds at most and then talk with Dad, alright? It'll really change our mood.

OMT!Tails: Sorry, but I-!

CR!Sonia: It's very rejuvenating!

OMT!Tails: I feel very rejuvenated right now!

CR!Sonic: And you'll be more so when in the presence of one of my amazing kids!

OMT!Tails: You don't GET to have a heartfelt conversation with me right now, Sonic-!

CR!Sonic: JUSTHOLDONEOFTHEMANDWE'LLSEEWHATHAPPENS!

CR!Sonia held OMT!Tails gently, to his surprise.

CR!Sonic: You're the reason I had them, okay?!

The two heroes stopped for a moment.

CR!Sonic: I thought that if I did a good job raising them, there was a chance they were gonna turn out like you. And that got me excited, because you're a wonderful kid and I really like being around you!

OMT!Tails sighed, feeling worried.

OMT!Tails: I really wanted to be around you guys even more through this place, but the side of it LM manipulated you into isn't a positive one.

CR!Sonic: Look, bad things are always gonna happen to us at some stage, no matter what. It's what makes us who we are. But lots of good things happen as well.

He put a hand on his surrogate little brother's shoulder.

CR!Sonic: Like you happened. And they happened.

OMT!Tails: Hey... I don't...

E-21 (over the comm): Sonic, we got your location! Sit tight, and they'll be on their way!

CR!Sonic (panicked): Elise, abort that protocol! You DON'T have my location!

LM!Sonic (through the same comm): I'm coming over now! Do NOT let those rats escape!

CR!Sonic: T-Tails, I didn't know... Please, let's talk about this.

OMT!Tails: Hey, it's alright. We just did. Just keep them distracted for at least a little bit, alright?

The two kids got ready to do so as OMT!Tails and SS!Amy departed.

CR!Sonic: Well, good talk.

As OMT!Tails and SS!Amy careened into the city streets, CR!Sonic and OMT!Mina were running close by.

OMT!Mina: Where are they going?

CR!Sonic: I just hope Tails has this planned out.

Fiona rode alongside them on the bike.

Fiona: If it hasn't been stated before, by the way, you're a terrible teacher!

She leapt up into the air with the bike, but OMT!Tails managed to swipe the bike from under her and fling it into the air for Carol to catch, causing Fiona to crash onto a train roof.

Carol: I'm taking that back!

CR!Sonic: Well, he did just beat you, so I'm not a terrible mentor.

LM!Sonic showed up, annoyed, as OMT!Tails and SS!Amy reached the elevator dock and got it ready for liftoff.

LM!Sonic: You're both equally terrible. Does THAT settle it?!

LM!Sonic grabbed onto the space elevator as it began its ascent, with CR!Sonic, OMT!Mina, Antho, Nitro and Mobiverse Tails right behind them.

LM!Sonic: Stop pretending you know what you're doing!

OMT!Tails: Oh, I have a plan! You just don't know it yet!

He and SS!Amy clung onto the elevator roof for dear life as LM!Sonic clawed his way after them.

Terminal Velocity Intercom: Departing for Gust Planet's moon!

OMT!Tails: What are those, claws?! Dude, are you sure you even class as a hero?!

LM!Sonic: Are you? Who do you think you are, really?!

OMT!Tails took a deep breath.

OMT!Tails: My name is Miles "Tails" Prower...

He leapt down and dealt a powerful drop kick to LM!Sonic, knocking him further down the track.

OMT!Tails: I inherited my best friend's mantle because he wanted me to.

LM!Sonic tried to grab OMT!Tails with his enerbeam, though was met with a cannon fastball right at the face.

OMT!Tails: I'm pretty sure you know the rest, jerk!

LM!Sonic continued clawing after the two.

LM!Sonic: You never got it! You and Antho are anomalies!

OMT!Tails: Not if you let me save the multiverse!

OMT!Tails kicked LM in the jaw.

LM!Sonic: Everywhere you two go, you’re anomalies. You’re both the original anomalies!

OMT!Tails glitched slightly in response, his original female, one-tailed self present for a split-second.

LM!Sonic: The energy that gave you your powers wasn’t from your dimensions. It was never supposed to get into you!

A couple of carriages below, CR!Sonic and OMT!Mina watched in horror.

OMT!Mina: LM, STOP!

CR!Sonic: LM, don't hurt him!

LM!Sonic: There’s a world out there without an heroic Sonic because the energy got to you instead! You were not supposed to be the heroes!

OMT!Tails: No, you're lying, you heartless bully! I AM a hero!

LM!Sonic: You and Anthony are nothing but mistakes!

He pushed OMT!Tails into the roof, glaring furiously.

LM!Sonic: If he hadn’t been stupid enough to intervene, his Sonic would’ve lived. Instead, he died trying to save him. He would’ve stopped the super-collider before it went off. Crimtake wouldn’t exist! And you... Had you actually BEEN more competent in stopping that Malware Threat, your Sonic would still be alive today! But NO! He had to die trying to save your pathetic hide! You wouldn’t have lost so many! You wouldn’t have had to take his place! And none of this would’ve happened! And all this time, I’ve been one of the only ones holding this joint together.

OMT!Tails: Get the hell OFF of me!

LM!Sonic: You don’t belong in this universe. You never did.

Antho: Okay, creep! This is going WAY too far!

OMT!Tails: Who are you to think you can decide that, "Sonic"?! I am NOT a defenceless kid anymore!

LM!Sonic: That’s EXACTLY what you are, Miles Prower! You’re nothing but a kid. Who has no. Idea. WHAT THE HELL. HE’S DOING!!!

OMT!Tails and SS!Amy smirked, knowing they had this in the bags.

SS!Amy: Yeah, well, we DID lure you a million feet away from your little penthouse.

LM!Sonic: What?

He realised how high he was above surface level, looking back at the two as Mobiverse Tails scaled the elevator, ready to give LM what for.

OMT!Tails: And I'm about to do this!

He charged up an energy bolt from LM!Sonic's shoes, causing HIM to glitch and realise he practically screwed himself over.

OMT!Tails: You are trying to tell me what my story’s ‘meant’ to be… No. I’m doing my own thing! Sorry, Lost Memory Sonic, but I'm saving the day, whether you want me to or not!

He released ALL that energy right back at LM!Sonic, catapulting him within reach of a furious Mobiverse Tails.

MV!Tails: Now you're getting it, freak!

He pummelled LM!Sonic into the elevator and punched him a LOT, leaving OMT!Tails and SS!Amy open to get right to their final goal.

OMT!Tails: We'll be back, guys. See you around.

They leapt downwards, using a Chaos Emerald to fast-warp to the Transport Hub.

CR!Sonic: Heh, I taught him how to do that. Even if he won't use a Super form, I must be a pretty good teacher for him to pull that off.

He and OMT!Mina let go back to the surface as LM!Sonic bursted out, racing back down at top speed in a blind fury. In the Transport Hub, Nicole and GCD!Amy were just trying out different hairstyles.

Nicole: Hmm, nope... Nah... Well, that's kinda cute.

OMT!Tails and SS!Amy warped in.

GCD!Amy: Oh! Tails!

Nicole: We heard you were coming over.

OMT!Tails: No time to explain! Activate the machine and get us warped over to whatever dimension Crimtake is currently at!

GCD!Amy: You got it! Quick, climb in the pods!

They did so.

Nicole: Okay, let's see... Ah, got it! Dimension ZONE-ANTI-1994!

OMT!Tails: Wait, isn't that where I had to escape my evil counterpart before? Ah, well. It'll do.

LM!Sonic was bashing on the entrance door.

LM!Sonic: Open the door, both of you! It'll only take a second if you hand Miles over to me!

GCD!Amy: Don't even try!

After three of his knocks as a warning that he's coming in, GCD!Amy rushed to the console...

GCD!Amy: Three knocks is all you're getting!

...and activated the defence mechanism to fry him with electricity. Once this happened, he busted into the room, clawing at the chamber OMT!Tails was inside in his blind fury. Other Quill Society members rushed in to stop him and pull him away.

Amy Rouge: Cut it out!

OMT!Tails nodded to his fellow Quill Society and Blur Gang friends, ready to go.

Mr. Needlemouse: 100 rings for me if the kid doesn't make it back!

Mini Sonic: Yeah, you're on!

LM!Sonic: NO!!!

LM!Sonic was far too late, the two heroes being warped away.

LM!Sonic: All he had to do was listen. Why didn't he listen?!

OMT!Mina: Maybe YOU weren't thinking the right way.

LM!Sonic glared at her.

LM!Sonic: YOU let them get away!

OMT!Mina: Me?!

LM!Sonic: You didn't catch either of them!

Other Minas in range got in front of her, keeping LM!Sonic out of her reach.

EV!Mina: Okay, just back down!

OMT!Mina: Sonic, you want to back me up?

CR!Sonic nodded.

CR!Sonic: Well, LM, as the father of a son and daughter and nephew of an uncle-.

LM!Sonic: Actually, please stop talking, CR.

CR!Sonic: Er, duly noted!

OMT!Mina: Tails is my friend-!

LM!Sonic: Yeah, and that's the problem.

OMT!Mina: Do you really know for certain what happens if Tails defies your presumed destiny?

LM!Sonic: Do you want to find out?! Urgh, I knew you were a liability. You two, send her back to her original dimension!

OMT!Mina: WHAT?!

Nicole: She's not going there again! She's suffered enough there as it is!

LM!Sonic: I was not asking!

Nitro fired a blast at LM!Sonic to shut him up.

Nitro: Enough of this! You're not even worthy of being here! If anyone, it's YOU who needs to pack it and go home!

LM!Sonic growled, grabbing Nitro by his shirt.

LM!Sonic: If you're so smug about that, how about I lock YOU out of multidimensional travel for good, anomaly?!

Nitro: ...What did you just call me, you prick?

LM!Sonic: You know what you are, Smith. You tried tampering with fate just to get your sorry excuse of a father back, and you could've made the entire multiverse unstable from your crime! Not to mention that your memories should NOT have been maintained after that reset.

Nitro quickly strangled LM in return.

Nitro: Don't you DARE talk foul about my father, you monster!

LM!Sonic: Or what?! You're gonna use some "special power" to hurt me?!

Nitro: Well, I don't need to.

Some vines wrapped around LM's ankles and wrists, pulling him back into the wall where EV!Sonic knocked him out, holding a green Chaos Emerald in his hand.

EV!Sonic: What absolute shame.

He turned back to the many members in the room.

EV!Sonic: You did well today, everyone. You can continue about your business now, but I do ask for a few of you to stay behind to supervise me in sending LM back to his dimension.

OMT!Mina: Of course. I'll stick around.

Nitro: As will I.

Many of the other members departed to return to their tasks.

Trip: Will Amy be okay?

Superstars Tails: Don't worry. I know how great a fighter she is, and she'll prove her worth.

OMT!Cream arrived through one of the chambers.

OMT!Cream: Is Tails here?

EV!Sonic: You just missed him, Cream. He and that other Amy just departed to another dimension to get after your would-be killer. But considering you got here anyway, you brought them a further fighting chance.

OMT!Cream: I'm happy to hear it. Erm, who is this Mr. Sonic next to you?

EV!Sonic: An absolute prick who tried orchestrating your death. Best to let us deal with him. (to Fleetway Amy) In the meantime, Amy, maybe you could give her a little tour of the place?

Fleetway Amy: Will do, Sonic!

She and Tekno shared a fist bump.

Tekno: Great work out there today, girl!

Fleetway Amy: Anything to help my friends! Well, come along, then. We've got plenty to show you.

OMT!Cream: I'm coming, Miss Amy!

They headed off together.

Because there's no narrator and all that jazz in my Slay the Prince Sonic AU I had to come up with a reason as to why time resets and why his appearance and sometimes objects around him to varying degrees changes depending on what happens to him.

So what I've come up with is that Sonic is basically a chosen one. Chosen by the god of Chaos to inherit a fraction of their power. This also explains why Fleetway is there. He's basically a way to protect that power, the chosen one, even if he doesn't know that's his purpose. But as was stated, his seriousness and willingness to do whatever it takes to protect him was misinterpreted by Aleena and all others that were more magically (magic is chaos energy) attuned. He was completely willing to kill somebody if it meant protecting Sonic, after all...

I've already got some designs (and ideas) for Spectre and Nightmare versions that I'm working on, one of which I should at least get done by tomorrow. Maaaaybe the next day considering i'm going somewhere tomorrow.

I do not fucking know how I'm going interpret my favorite chapter 3 though... That being The Wild.

"Why do you keep fighting?!" The crazed super hedgehog known as Fleetway asked the spirit with a shriek "WHAT KEEPS YOU GOING?!" Fleetway shouts as the spirit gets closer to him with sad yet determined eyes "I do it for him" the ghost replies quietly as she reaches out to touch Fleetway's cheek with her ghostly hand, earning a head tilt from the golden hedgehog "Him? Who's 'him'?" the super powered hedgehog asked, clearly confused. "My brother" the spirit answers "You remind me of him Sonic-" "I'm not Sonic you-" "-Who said I wasn't also talking to you too Fleetway?" The ghost's gentle yet firm statement shuts the golden hedgehog up

"I see so much of him in you, in every action, every word and every small gesture, I see my goofy little brother who would try to do good, the goofy little brother who tried his best to help whenever he could, the goofy little brother that was there for me at my lowest and my highest" As the ghost's words rang loud and true, Fleetway could feel a new emotion start to well up in his chest, Sorrow that was quickly replaced with anger. "The day the sky fell away, I never got the chance to tell him goodbye" The spirit laughs bitterly to herself as tears welled up in her eyes

"Goodbye? Why goodbye?" The golden hedgehog asked, confused by the spirit's words "Had I known it was the last day for me and everyone around me, I would've said my goodbyes and tell him how much I love him and how much he meant to me" the spirit's eyes were sad.

What was she playing at? Why was she telling him all this? What is her goal? Thoughts were going a mile a minute in his head as the spirit continued "My brother kept me going, it was just me and him against the world and with him gone, I was lost, confused, angry" The spirit's other hand curled into a fist "I was so angry for a long time, the world took my brother from me and I wanted to make the world hurt as time marched on and when I saw a certain blue blur and two tailed fox, I decided to follow them and watch them as they reminded me of something I had forgotten in my rage" The spirit said as she looked up at the stars, making Fleetway follow her gaze as she looked at the stars

"As time went on, my confusion grew until I realized why. The reason why I was so interested in them and why I grew to care so much for the two. It was because they reminded me of him, their bond, their brotherly love and their hearts of gold. They helped me love again without even knowing I was there watching them grow and learn from their experiences" The spirit could only smile with her sad eyes "I know he's gone, but he'll never truly be gone from my heart or my memories" Fleetway looked at the ghost, who was now staring into his eyes with a determined look "Which is why I'm willing to fight, not for me but for him, the world and it's inhabitants that I've grown to love and cherish" The spirit holds out her arms with eyes that held hope and a will that Fleetway never seen before. "So come at me Fleetway, I won't hold back! I won't give up! I will protect this world I've come to cherish! I'll hold on. ."

When NM said that he drew from every form of Sonic media, he meant it. Next up is the team from Great Britain's Sonic the Comic by Fleetway! These guys were the toughest and most expensive to have commissioned due to the radically different art style, but I think they made the transition to the Archie-esque style well.
