Elijah really is as dedicated to his job as it gets 😭 he might hate it (not the disguising/espionage bit, but the parts about his fake personas blurring together and fucking with his concept of self-identity, plus the parts about regularly having to watch all sorts of gruesome/immoral things unfold while not intervening in any of them despite wanting to bc doing so would signal the failure of his mission which in turn would sacrifice the many for that one he could have saved right there) but he's doing THE absolute most he can on every single job. Including getting real tattoos if his newly designated persona has some and then having them laser removed after the job's over.

He's the perfect man for this field bc he pours all of himself body & soul into it fr!#The second he receives the sheet w his new persona's info and starts preparing for the job he Becomes That Person. Mentally AND physically!#Which is amazing but girl the amount of effort required to do that only to have to delete all of it (<-physically) for ur next job... whew #Whenever he's more covered up than usual it's bc he has a job coming up in a few weeks & he's hiding the tattoos he got for it til then #He COULD theoretically get temporary ones but w the amt of wild situations he's been in + his shit luck he's better off not risking it #Last thing he needs is for a mission to take longer than predicted and for his tattoos to fucking fade halfway thru it and blow his cover #Plus most of his missions... aren't lasting ONLY those 3-6 days the temp tattoo would last. Some do but the majority are 1 month+
