Previous tenant took the batteries out of the CO detector and put them in a drawer I wasn't aware of until just now when I opened it and found they had exploded. Very cool
#Have not put in new batteries... Honestly I could probably just text the fucking landlord and ask him to do it#But like. I do not want to. However I live in a renovated garage and I can't reach the fucking ceiling without a full scale ladder#Which my immediate neighbors (Also college students and renters) do not own#So I cannot. Reach it. I'm kind of just planning on not setting my apartment on fire#I mean if I get carbon monoxide poisoning I'll notice. It'd be from my stove. Which I sleep next to. So like I'd be fucked pretty quick
