ATLA Tumblr i desperately need ur help! for some reason i decided itd be fun to look at all the characters shown in the southern water tribe in episode 1 and 2 of atla and attempt to draw them, give them names, personalities, and roles in the village ! (as well as attempt to match them up with the comic characters from wolf cove aurghh)

so , so far I have done Woman 1 , shown below !

Because she is 1 of the younger adult women and she surprisingly has a pattern detail on her sash(?) I have decided to headcanon her as 1 of the stronger women. I think she may lead most of the hunting and fishing trips while the men are off fighting the war. I think boy 2 or boy 3 may be 1 or both of her sons, not sure yet. I think I want to draw everyone first before I start assigning family units. BUT! what i would like help with if anyone is so inclined is naming. Naming characters has always been a bit of a struggle for me and it does not help that Water Tribe names are derived from a culture i do not know much about! When I look at Woman 1 the words Crane and Seal come into my brain for some reason, but I'm not sure how to translate thoses into a native language or condense the words into an Avatar friendly name ! If anyone has any ideas or suggestions that would be insanely appreciated! (even not name related, just anything regarding this project :3)

How would you feel about James McAvoy turning up in a role in Dune 3? He did play Leto in the Children of Dune TV series years before he became famous.

Personally I love it when actors and actresses, including voice actors, have a role in a different version of a story in a new film or tv show etc. (Like when a Lois Lane actress 20 years later played Clark's mum in Smallville, the Superman tv show.)

I can’t really think of one? There are no characters I ever really hated necessarily. But I will say the closest to this is Teruteru. I wasn’t really fond of how the writing made him out to be and I wish we got more of that “mama’s boy” because that shit got me to connect so hard….. his voice acting helped too, the screams before his execution actually haunt me no joke

JOKING ASIDE I don’t think I could be a protag, but my friends all tell me I could get away with killing (which I doubt). I can see myself being a victim or killer but never a protag. MAYBE a survivor, but I really don’t have a personality suited to protagonist. I’m smart, but not enough to get to the bottom of that many murders; puzzle and murder mystery games have never been my thing much less irl GFJCJSNF

literally the stupidest thing I've ever gotten nervous about is writing on my new computer because of how big the screen is.

there is literally nobody else in my fucking office at home that is going to see my screen. it's mine. but the screen is so big and according to my anxious ape mind apparently the all-seeing eye of god is capable of observing me writing Baldur's Gate 3 fanfiction on my big fuckoff monitor and this is something I should fear and loathe
