"I'm sorry, H." you mutter as you're getting in bed on January 31st.

Harry peels back the duvet and sheets on the bed, slipping in, and questions confusedly, "What can you possibly be sorry for, m'love? You haven't done anythin' wrong."

After you get into the covers with your boyfriend, you answer sadly, "Just got my period. That means tomorrow we can't have our traditional birthday sex on your birthday."

Harry scoots over in bed and props up on one elbow as he lays on his side, facing you. Then coos gently but firmly, "Baby, that's totally fine. We don't have to have birthday sex for me to have a great birthday tomorrow. As long as I'm spending my day with you, that's all that matters. We can do other stuff like cuddle on the couch and watch a film. Can even pop a tampon in and we get into the hot tub if you feel like it. The warm water might help with your cramps."

You sit up and wrap your arms around your boyfriend's neck. Then whisper, "Thank you for being so understanding. I love you."

"Of course. And I love you, too." Harry whispers back, pecking a kiss to your cheek before laying back down in the bed and bring you down with him. You then cuddle and fall asleep in each others arms. Excited to celebrate Harry's 29th birthday tomorrow. With or without sex.
