Weirdly enough, I’ve recently gotten some new comments on old fic of mine. It did make my day! Related, I may have actually written something, after all these years…

i encourage you to go to your favourite writer's ao3 page and comment on an older fic, because i can assure you that it will make their day. I'm catching up on the various videos posted online about Space Cases: opinion pieces, interviews, etc., and here is one I watched today from August 2021. In it, Alex Nantz from the Splat Attack Podcast leads a discussion with Walter Jones (Harlan), Paul Boretski (Goddard), and Anik Matern (Thelma).

I made a list of the questions asked in the video and include the time stamps where you can find them. :) The parenthesis are notes of the answers that I wanted to remember.

(Harlan – didn’t want to fail, didn’t want to disappoint anybody).

(SC was the #2 show on Nick behind Kenan and Kel, but the budget was 3 times Kenan and Kel due to the special effects. Jewel Staite having left. Walter Jones being offered apart in a new show.)

Been re-watching Star Trek Enterprise so naturally I remember Space Cases out of no where. I miss that show, back when Nickelodeon was SO good.🧡

The Sorting Hat doesn't have a very exciting life in the 23rd century, so with the Headmaster Eldervy, it travels to various fandoms and Sorts the characters. Final two chapters up! (Yes I did add one more, chapter 5 was getting too long).

Prequel part two is now complete and I can take a break. I’m writing the sequel over the summer and will post it all at once. Expect it sometime before the end of September!

40k between both prequels? I still can’t believe it 😅

Alright. I got tired of messing around with it and decided to finally post the entirety of ~THE SEQUEL~

Yes, I am posting fanfic while on vacation, but it’s as ready as it will ever be, so why wait??

I DID IT. I finally figured out the issues with chapter five and just wrote the last chunk of text for the sequel!

It’s all edits from here on out, bay-bee.

~20k for the sequel which puts the entire total at over 50k 😵

I’m off to Hawaii in a few days and beyond ready for some cocktails on the beach 🏖️

I’ll be posting the sequel before the end of August!
