French Chateau in California

French Chateau
The French Chateau in California is For Sale and has an asking price of $32 million!
Location: California, USA

Almost Like Paris – Neighbor Is Kourtney Kardashian!
Kourtney Kardashian first came to prominence with her reality show “Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive” in 2005 and has been an influencer powerhouse ever since. In addition to her reality show appearances including Keeping Up With The Kardashians, she has opened clothing boutiques, published books, appeared on the daytime soap One Life to Live, designed fashion lines, and marketed her own line of perfumes.
She recently got engaged to Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker when he proposed to her on the beach in Montecito, California with a diamond ring that made her 152 million Instagram followers swoon. She owns two stunning mansions, one in Palm Springs and another in the Santa Monica Mountains neighborhood of Calabasas.
A unique opportunity to keep up with Kourtney has arrived on the market with the listing of a gorgeous French Chateau down the street from the Instagram star’s own mansion. With an asking price of $32 million, the 16,500 square foot Paris-inspired estate offers seven bedrooms, ten baths and unparalleled luxury. The beautifully landscaped grounds are straight out of a fairy tale castle with topiary mazes, a waterfall pool, two bridges, a BBQ pavilion with steel appliances, a fire pit, multiple patios for entertaining as well as fruit-bearing trees including avocado, figs, plums, orange, and lemon.
Inside, the home is classically styled with hardwood, marble and limestone accents and offered fully furnished. The grand two-story foyer includes a breathtaking double floating staircase with intricate metalwork and hand-built French chandeliers. The chef’s kitchen has a vaulted ceiling, top-of-the-line appliances, and connects to both a breakfast nook and a spectacular formal dining room with a hand-carved fireplace, plus a temperature-controlled wine cellar.
The master suite is massive with a gorgeous four-poster bed, huge walk-in closet, oversized glass-surround steam shower, sauna, and two beautiful patios featuring marble columns and a lovely view of the surrounding mountains. Each of the other six bedrooms features its own en-suite bathroom with some having patios of their own.
The home is perfect for entertaining, with an open floor plan that seamlessly connects the vaulted-ceiling living and dining rooms with the outdoor lounging spaces, and surround sound in all the major rooms. The 10-seat home theater references old-school Hollywood glamour with red velvet and carved mahogany and includes its own wet bar. Additional features include a game room with a mirrored ceiling, a library with a custom fireplace, a beautifully designed office, and a full gym and massage room.
Formerly a sleepy suburb, in recent years Calabasas has become popular with celebrities escaping the Paparazzi-filled neighborhoods of Beverly Hills and the Hollywood Hills.
Gated communities provide these power players with privacy, beautiful mountain views, and easy access to the 101 Freeway that leads back to the hustle and bustle of the city. In addition to Kourtney, the French Chateau’s buyers will count Drake, Jessica Simpson, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, and Will Smith as neighbors. The home is convenient to the Calabasas Country Club plus plenty of shopping and fine dining.
The listing is held by Tomer Fridman & Isidora Fridman of Compass.

Small-Town Charm: 8 Homes for Sale in Less Populated Areas
There’s just something special about a small town. Less traffic, no noise pollution and friendly neighbors can all make for an idyllic escape from the grit of the city.
Some of these small towns may be hours from the nearest Amazon Locker or Whole Foods, but what they lack in big-city amenities, they make up for in big-time charm.
Here are eight homes for sale in some of the best small towns in America.
Stately in South Carolina
For sale: $668,000
Nothing could be sweeter than this stately home in Beaufort, South Carolina, which has a prime location on South Carolina’s coastal Sea Islands. The home was built in 1997, but it looks like it was plucked straight from the 19th century, with notable features like a large front porch, whitewashed brick on the exterior, an updated and spacious living-dining area, and a covered back porch for those sweltering summer nights.

A coastal cottage in small-town California
For sale: $1.4 million
This quaint cottage in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, is the quintessential coastal retreat. Carmel-by-the-Sea is located just an hour outside the tech capital of the country – San Jose – but feels worlds away, thanks to its small population and relaxed lifestyle. The cottage itself is a seaside charmer, featuring blue cedar shake siding and a large deck for lounging, and it’s just a short walk from downtown Carmel.

The Craftsman home, located minutes from the downtown square, is elegant yet cozy, with hardwood floors throughout the main level, wainscoting in the dining room, and two levels of decks that have a beautiful tree-lined view.

Make His Day? You Can Buy Clint Eastwood’s Pebble Beach Mansion
Frazer Harrison/Getty Images for AFI
Actor and director Clint Eastwood is selling his nearly 5-acre, fenced and gated property in Pebble Beach, CA, where ex-wife Dina filmed her short-lived reality show, “Mrs. Eastwood and Company.” Asking price? A cool $9,750,000.
The 1920s Spanish Colonial is owned by a real estate trust linked to Eastwood, Variety says. It last changed hands in 1994 for $3.9 million. The property was available off-market last fall, before debuting in October at the current price.
Named Hacienda Este Madera, it’s located in what’s known as the California Riviera, close to Carmel by the Sea and the Pebble Beach Golf Links, which Eastwood and other investors purchased for $820 million in the late 1990s.

The 6,922-square-foot estate includes six bedrooms, six baths, and a living room that takes in ocean views and is topped by hand-hewn wood beams. The kitchen boasts a Carrara-topped center island, hardwood floors, and a checkerboard backsplash. The formal dining room “has hosted iconic dinner parties for Hollywood luminaries, artists, authors, musicians, and foreign dignitaries,” according to the listing.
The home’s Spanish-style finishes include glazed terra-cotta tiles, hand-crafted ornamental iron work, and massive wood doors.
Eastwood, 86, lived there with Dina, daughters Francesca (whose mother is Frances Fisher) and Morgan (whose mother is Dina), and a six-person a cappella group called Overtone, which Dina managed. The property was featured in the E! network reality show that ran for 10 episodes starting in May 2012. It was a prelude to the couple’s split amid “rumors the notoriously private movie icon wasn’t happy with his children being thrust into the spotlight,” the Daily Mail reports.
Eastwood owns other properties in the area, including a 16,000-square-foot hilltop home at the Eastwood-owned Tehama Golf Club, two large houses above the Bel-Air Country Club in Los Angeles, and a home in Sun Valley, ID.

Sanctuary Home, Loon Point California
Sanctuary Home For Sale, Californian Luxury Residence, Loon Point Real Estate, CA House, US Mansion Photos
Sanctuary Home at Loon Point
Oct 25, 2021
Sanctuary Luxury Home
California’s Most Expensive Home is For Sale – priced at $160 million!
Location: Loon Point, California, USA
Source: TopTenRealEstateDeals.com
California boasts one of the United States’ most expensive real estate markets, led by the city of San Francisco with the nation’s highest median home price of $1.5 million. San Jose, Oakland, and Los Angeles also rank in the top ten by the same measure. California’s current priciest home, however, isn’t in one of those urban centers.
Currently owned by hedge-fund manager and Julliard school-chairman Bruce Kovner, the cliffside estate known as Sanctuary at Loon Point overlooks the central California coast from the beach town of Carpinteria. If the property gets its $160 million asking price, it will be the second most expensive home ever sold in the state, behind only Jeff Bezos’ purchase of the Warner Estate for $165 million, and the third most expensive in the nation, topped by the $238 million sale of a massive Manhattan apartment overlooking Central Park.
The property’s 2,129 feet of coastline bluff and 22 acres of lush landscaping is divided into five parcels featuring two distinct estates, Ocean View and Bellevue, connected by a private, gated road.
The homes have been carefully positioned to take advantage of the natural contours of the landscape and maximize the ocean views. Both homes feature stunning Mediterranean-style mansions crafted from the finest materials from around the world.
Terra-cotta tile roofs, high ceilings with exposed natural beams, hardwood floors, stone archways and marble accents impart an atmosphere of rustic grandeur.
Open floor plans and floor-to-ceiling windows take advantage of the natural light. Huge kitchens, grand libraries, fireplaces with intricate mantles, oversized pools, beautifully designed courtyards with marble statues, lovely rose gardens, and ocean-view terraces with palmtrees provide space for entertaining guests or enjoying the private serenity afforded by the home’s unique location. Between the two residences, the property offers ten bedrooms, twenty one bathrooms and 14,189 square feet of interior space.
A large natural pond on the grounds attracts ducks, herons and other local fauna. The scenic Barranca Path winds down the cliff to the beach below, where coastal birds can be observed. Located on the migration route of the California Grey Whale and home to both sea lions and harbor seals, the property’s combination of beach and bluff offers a unique opportunity for wildlife lovers. The area is well known for its spectacular sunsets.
Carpinteria, located in southeastern Santa Barbara County and about eighty miles from Los Angeles, calls itself the “world’s safest beach.” In addition to calm waves and sandy shores, the idyllic community is home to the world’s largest Torrey pine tree, the University of California’s Carpinteria Salt Marsh Reserve, the Carpinteria Seal Sanctuary, and the Santa Barbara Polo Club.
Beautiful and secluded, the small city has long been a draw for Hollywood types looking to escape from the stress of LA’s busy metropolis. Celebrities with beach homes in the area include George Lucas, Kevin Costner, Ellen Degeneres, Robert Zemeckis, and Ashton Kutcher.
The listing is held by Mauricio Umansky and Eric Haskell of The Agency.
