Things I learned while I was away.

This is a still of the Swedish duo Hansson Och Karlsson from a 1967 broadcast of the Popside TV show. I don't peer into the corners of that era of music, but boy oh boy does this get me where I live. Instrumental mastery devoted to motion and impact. And the freakout at the end of the performance is deeply satisfying. Supposedly Jimi Hendrix jammed with these two when in Stockholm, but that's really not relevant to me. I got a tip via twitter about this video and if I can rediscover the source I'll confirm it here. I'm grateful.
