Traditionen att visa upp vad man fått med sig hem från Stockholms Internationella Seriefestival, följer jag även i år.

Denna gång tycks det ha blivit rekordlite. Hann inte gå runt å kolla in andras utbud så mycket som jag hade hoppats. Men det är väl bra för ekonomin kanske. Och det är det kanske även att envisas med otidsenliga betalningsmetoder.

Resultaten av monstergeneratorn fick jag inte med på bilden. Glömde lägga fram dem när jag fixade den. Det gör dock inte riktigt något, för de finns redan på en annan bild. Eller ja, egentligen inte alla, för en del av festivalgästerna tog med sig skapelser hem, men det får man också göra faktiskt!

Tarantula, rat, hedgehog, parrot, chinchilla, crab?

I fell to sleep almost right away when I reblogged that ask post (I didn’t feel tired when I reblogged that, strange) so that’s why I’m answering just now.

tarantula - when was the last time you hugged someone?

- Hmm, I think the last time was two weeks ago. I hugged my mom.

rat - favourite children’s tale?

- I couldn’t find any English name for it, but it’s a book called Kultainen tyttö, originally Guldflickan (it’s written by a Swedish girl). Translates into “A Golden Girl” and it was written by Hannele Norrström, who died for having a brainstem tumor soon after she had written it. I have loved that book ever since my mom first read it for me.

hedgehog - favourite wild animal?

- Well, wild hedgehogs :D I was always feeding them if they came into our backyard when I was little. But if I have to choose an animal which isn’t meant to keep as a pet, I’d choose an owl. (Though wizards keep them as pets but yeah, couldn’t come up with anything else) :D

parrot - favourite colour?

- Violet, black and yellow :D Never together though.

chinchilla - night owl or early bird? or both?

- I used to be a night owl, but living here has forced me to go into bed early and recently I have awakened without an alarm or anything at 7am :D So I guess I’m an early bird now.

crab - what’s the best thing about the beach?

- I have never done anything else than swimming when I’m on the beach. :D So swimming it is.

Hannele Norrström was a Swedish children's book author. Her first and only book was "The golden girl". She wrote it while already in hospital with the cancer that would kill her before her eleventh birthday. I was illustrated by Sven Nordqvist (Pettson series) and came out in 1995, two years later.
