I seriously LOVE how this purse turned out. I was able to make it with only a quarter yard of fabric, and had enough left over to make a matching coin purse! Not too big, and not too small, with a crossbody strap that is the perfect length for shorter people. The front flap is held closed with a silver magnetic snap. Follow the link to see the lining <3

Bookbag/Purse:

Hibiko actually doesn't have very expensive taste for purses, because they weren't something she needed really until exploring the city. If she had one before then, it was a prop. So in the city, just wants something cute and not made with plastic fabric. Very attracted to Kate Spade (absolutely is that bitch in the Different Uniform verse to use one of her backpacks for school). Nothing big and bulky, she doesn't have much to carry around anyways.

The type of girl to always have some makeup to touch up with (despite rarely using it) and extra pads and tampons just in case she's ever asked. If she knows she's going to be walking around a lot, she'll go for a mini backpack sometimes, or a tiny crossbody that's only big enough for her phone and a couple credits cards so her hands are free.

Cellphone:

Phone cases are accessories that can be changed with every outfit. Some are clean, elegant, transparent with some floral or traditional designs. Those are more for public events. Others she has are more flashy with cake-like decorations, or with a built in phone grip and charms hanging off, even a couple that are made to be used to a matching watch band or wallet. However, unless one matches especially well, she changes it up maybe once a week.

Doesn't care enough to update her phone with every model, but every other model. Goes for the smaller options usually for size, otherwise doesn't actually care these days, they're all too similar.

Chapstick/Lip Balm:

There's always something on her lips. Lipstick or a lip stain usually, even if it's a nude, slightly pinky color. Otherwise, a lipgloss. Keeps two or three in her purse.

Wallet:

One of the few items she'll go for a well-known brand rather than something more quiet and unique. Likes a lot of the stuff YSL does. One that snaps closed, isn't bulky. Either long and skinny or a trifold.

Umbrella:

Hibiko has one umbrella to use in the city. Think English, Fox Umbrellas. Handmade, all wood and metal, no plastic.

At home it's more traditional, plenty of sun and rain umbrellas to choose from with ornate handles and their family crest on it, sometimes made to work within the design, depending on the occasion.

Jewelry:

As a whole, Jewelry to Hibiko is something that's louder, when smaller. The perfect accessory to bring a whole look together is usually something small and delicate. Given, in the city it's much smaller than wearing a gown, but you have to think about the proportions. At those times, she wears things that can be heavier because of the stones, everything matches more, and there's more purpose than filling the space, but to instead catch the eye.

Day-to-day, always wearing earrings, loves pearls or small hoops, but has such a big collection of earrings that it'd be hard to spot her wearing the same twice. Sucker for flowers and leaves, tiny dangly things. Necklaces are kept very thin and very breakable, maybe a small precious stone hanging off.

Doesn't usually wear bracelets because she has to wear a smartwatch for extra protection in terms of someone always knowing where she is. Because of that, she'll wear a ring of her offhand to balance it out.

Water bottle:

A glass bottle with a metal bottom, subtle curves and designs on the outside for extra grip. Gets replaced fairly quickly when she finds a scratch that's too obvious.

Other Items:

Her nails are always done, rarely ever are they just a solid color with a nice topper. If they are, it's because she is going to wear/wore a dramatic dress. Otherwise, there's a design. If it's a busy time, it'll be more neutral so she isn't worried about changing it to work with an outfit.
