some tea about sendoh (from a source close to inoue!!!)

These pertain to Sendoh as he’s who I mainly asked about (due to Sendoh being such a mysterious character throughout the series)

When I asked about why Sendoh loves fishing so much, they revealed that it was because his grandfather had introduced it to him, they would fish together from a young age, and his grandfather would give him life advice while they fish tg. His grandfather passed away shortly after he moved from Tokyo so part of it is so he can honor him in away.

The other reason they gave me is due to Sendoh valuing solitude. While he doesn’t mind being around others, at times he feels he doesn’t belong, and he likes to have a quiet space where it is just him and serene blue waters.

Sendoh has few friends in his life, if any. While he does like his teammates and others around him, he feels he can’t “truly be himself” and has to put up a calm and collected front, even though that is not always him.

He said inoue worded it as “Part of why Sendoh doesnt have many friends because he feels that most people automatically have an idea or standard of who he is in their heads, and he feels the need to be that person, despite the fact they don’t know him. He feels that if he shares who he actually is, he ends up letting them down”

HIS FAMILY BACKGROUND: His family is comfortable, but not superrr well off. His father is a businessman while his mother is a stay at home wife. He is able to get his wants and needs without much of an issue, and he’s apparently traveled on vacation abroad with them before too (to Taiwan and SK from what they mentioned!!!). He has a very close relationship with his mother as she supports him in whatever he likes, but not so much with his father. His father is more of a practical and disciplined/strict person, so he never really understood his son’s more carefree and relaxed view on life. As a result, Sendoh had chased his father’s approval in his younger years.

ACCORDING TO THEM, SENDOH HAS NEVER BEEN IN A RELATIONSHIP 😂😂😂😂. “He’s had his fair bit of attention from girls but he’s never been the type to rush into anything without meaning behind it,”

THIS ONE SURPRISED ME A BIT: He really respects and admires Miyagi, for being able to “let loose” and “be himself”, and still have people admire him. Meanwhile, he feels a pressure to maintain a certain front around others.

Romance Headcanons | Sakuragi Hanamichi

Pairing: Sakuragi Hanamichi x Reader. What its like to date Sakuragi and how he is as a lover.

-Sakuragi is extremely passionate about things.

-His dedication to you can be seen from afar. He's always willing to just be in your personal space, wanting to be around you and do things for you

-I can see him as being a sort of cliche romantic gentleman despite his tough looks, ex. He's always holding your hand, he walks on the outside of the sidewalk, he vows to protect your honor

-He's extremely generous and wants to enjoy life with you.

-Since basketball has become a great love of his, he'd be happy to share it with you. He'd boast about him and his 'genius skills' in order to impress you and he may go a bit overboard with his importance but it's all genuine

-He'd love it if you came to his games, and he'd probably combust if you wore his jersey to support him. Ryota definitely takes a photo of Sakuragi being love struck and sends it to you

-He loudly proclaims that he does his very best with you watching him and that you just add to his genius.

-He sees his partner in a very high light. So they too are a genius just for dating him, a genius.

-It'd be important to him for you to be close to his friends and his team because they're his family

-You're likely to be around Yohei and the Gang a lot. So they act as your entourage sometimes. One of his friends is always around so they can get juicy details on your relationship.

-But they always mean well

-He wants to be perfect for his partner. So he always asks people for advice on how to be a better boyfriend, how to keep surprising you and to keep you happy.

-He's got date advice from everyone on the team. Ayako always manages to help him plan out something thoughtful and Ryota and Mitsui always bicker on who's date sounds better

-But really, just Sakuragi taking you somewhere like a grocery store, he'd make it extremely special because he just loves you that much. He'd buy anything you wanted, and he'd share his favorite snack with you

-If Ryota has a girlfriend, then he likes to double date. But the two of them always end up showing off on who loves their partner more.

-Sakuragi can be impulsive and a bit overbearing with his love so you'd have to tell him if he's doing too much because he'd be unaware

-He's extremely affectionate. He loves to give out physical touch. He loves to scoop you into his arms like you weigh nothing to him, sprinkle kisses all over your face and tell you how proud he is of you for literally doing anything and just being perfect in his eyes

-He gives you gifts that are based off your hobbies. If you're into collecting, he buys you stuff to help contribute.

-Sakuragi is also very loyal. You'd never have to worry about him looking or being tempted by anyone else. You're on his mind all hours of the day.

-He's protective as well. He worries about you because he's a delinquent (reformed, but he's always about that life fr) so he doesn't want anyone messing with you. He's insistent that you tell him if anyone's bothering you so that you can handle it

-Head pats and hair ruffles

-He likes to be snuggled and he loves when you run your hands over his hair

-I have to do it to em, I'm sorry. "This one's for you, y/n-chan!" and completely misses!

-Sakuragi is... an enthusiastic texter. He likes to send a ton of emojis and memes

-He prefers calling you, but he prefers facetiming you even more.

-He likes to be 'discreet' and take photos of you while facetiming so he can save them and keep them as his background.

Falling asleep together on facetime counts as a date for him.

-He feels if you love him, then he's won the game of life. He doesn't want to hear what anyone says because he'll loudly and proudly say that you love him exactly how he is.

-He says I love You multiple times a day. But it never gets old because it's from his heart.

We all know this fine ass man is going to be famous regardless of if he tries to or not 😭

Sendoh would be the type to post very sporadically. Either he posts multiple times in ome day or he goes months without posting. No inbetweens.

His posts would be a mix of pretty scenic places he visits and then tiktok dances with people from other teams. He’d just ask them if they wanted to make a tiktok with him 😭 especially Sakuragi lmfaoo. He would ask Rukawa to make a video with him too BUT HE’D ALWAYS REFUSE. I see him making videos with Maki often too

I don’t see him being on Tiktok very often (or even social media in general) but I think the kind of posts he would like/repost would be videos of pretty places, things to do different places, funny cat videos, and then an occasional basketball video. He’d would NOT be the type to be thirsty on social media 💀 like he’d see a pretty girl on his fyp, briefly acknowledge shes pretty, and then scroll.

Maki would be the guy who doesn’t post often but when he does, it’s high quality basketball clips or training montages that look straight out of an ad for a sports brand LMFAOOO. His captions would be something simple like, “Keep grinding.” 😂

He doesn’t care about clout but his account would blow up anyways because people would thirst over him in the comments like, “Idk who this is, but I’m in love.” OR THEYD CALL HIM DADDY OR SOME CRAZY SHIT LIKE THAT

His FYP would be full of basketball drills, motivational videos, and maybe the occasional travel TikTok. He’d like the cool scenic ones and might even recreate them when he goes on trips with the team.

I don’t see him thirsting over girls on Tiktok but he might follow a pretty girl back occasionally. And they’d be swooning so bad omg 😭

Kiyota would tag him in videos trying to get a reaction, but Maki would just leave him on read 💀💀💀

Her face card is too lethal to not be Tiktok famous 😭😭😭 her very first post would blow up. Her comments would be filled with guys trying to rizz her up (to which Miyagi would fight with in the comments) and girls asking her for beauty tips, like how she does her hair and makeup.

I think Ayako would just post every now and then. After countless requests she’d do a hair tutorial 😭😭😭 I also see her doing an outfit of the day, day in the life type of posts

She would definitely post a couple videos of her with the team and the girls would think she’s so cool and such a bad bitch 😂 they’d comment things like “Can Miyagi fight?” So now Ryota has competition from guys AND girls LMFAOOO

Very occasionally she will casually ask Ryota to be in a video with her (like a cute little tiktok trend) AND THIS MF WILL BE OVER THE MOONNNNN

He would spam her with videos of couples together and he’d be like “this is us.” She would leave him on open but secretly be very amused 😭😭😭

I see her making videos with Haruko! The comments would be sooo in love with them hehe

Kiyota would absolutely be that mf who posts crazy videos trying to go viral. He’d do the dumbest basketball challenges, like spinning the ball on his head or dunking while wearing sunglasses, and somehow it would work because people think he’s funny or they have fun making fun of him 💀

He’d also be in everyone’s comments hyping them up like, “LETS GOOOOO 🔥🔥”, especially his teammates. They not replying to his ass tho 😂

Kiyota would 100% drag Maki or Jin into his TikToks, making them do silly trends. Maki would refuse most of the time, but Jin would look so uncomfortable it’d make the video even funnier.

I see him and Sakuragi making videos together every now and then and it’d be sooo funny cause both of them are stupid asf 😭. The comments would have a field day making fun of them
