Dear, Vector Prime.
What were Exo-Suit and Fireglide doing at SGIDW?
The former was among the victim parts that Ratchet had that appeared to be his, while the latter did not appear in the comic at all.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dear Mirror Master,
The ‘bot you know as “Exo-Suit” was actually the heroic Cityspeaker Roritchi. Long ago, he partnered with the benevolent BlackZarak on their mission to spread the light of civilization across Cybertron, until he met the malevolent Halonix Maximus in a pitched battle. Tragically, Halonix struck BlackZarak down; so distraught was he by the loss of his friend and partner that Roritchi hid himself away in a remote corner of the Static Zone and entered stasis lock. When Goldbug used Starscream’s spark to rouse Metroplex from his long slumber, the same pulse of energy interfaced with Roritchi’s system, who awoke to find a Cybertron ravaged by millennia of civil war. Seeking answers, he staggered to the nearest settlement he could find… only to be felled by a group of retreating Autobots as he approached the gates of Gold City. His parts would ultimately be salvaged by Ratchet, who neither knew nor cared that he’d cut down an ancient historical figure of some renown.
Fireglide stayed by Cannonball’s side during their initial fight against the Decepticons and served as an ad-hoc “mascot” of sorts. Tragically, when the Rising Sea was destroyed, Fireglide went down with the ship.

THE VISIT TO VECTOR SIGMA
Just as Micronus planned this reminder of their greatest challenge and working together did wonders to soothe tempers and he went to each of his siblings in turn to suggest this. Micronus didn’t have the same ability to make one laugh as Quintus or charm as Solus, but he was steady and trusted in a way all his siblings loved. Megatronus’s temper was cooled, Solus distracted, Liege baited, Onyx enticed, and Prima coerced in turn. The others proved much simpler to accomplish, commenting how their older siblings had been neglecting to visit them often caught up in other concerns, especially Mortilus, the youngest and loneliest of them given his domain seemed joyful at the prospect.
For a time it was like their early years, despite Quintus’s telling absences. Even Prima cracked a smile as he and Megatronus reminisced with Solus shoving herself between them teasing and chiming in as needed, her brothers indulgent and endeared. The three eldest at the head as their younger siblings laughed and celebrated underneath them.
(Gonna break narrative to say @heliopauseentertainments's fic Reforged has made it so I always associate Rodimus with Solus no and I will forever give them similar personalities.)
With them each brought their most trusted as all of Cybertron celebrated. Those who were considered students or companions or children or lovers. Some were well-known enough to have their own tales. With Vector came his Conjunx and two brightest students Codexa, handmaiden to Scorpia and Vector's apprentice, and Alpha Trion, scribe and attendant tasked with recording with the events of history when Vector could not. Onyx, shy as always, brought his cupbearer Thunderhowl and hid in his gentle shadow. At Prima’s left and right hand were his two most trusted, Solomus the Judge and Halonix Maximus the Knight.
While they were distracted, the Torchbearers passed their prize to Scorpia who left to her own rooms, knowing Vector kept travelled with the key always.
Vector though was always clear eyed when focused and except for recent illness he never overlooked his beloved wife. He followed her sensing unease and found her going through his things.
He confronted her and Scorpia distressed told him the truth, some affliction caused by Unicron, and potential passed on by her people, was spreading and changing him. She told him how he forgot things and didn’t notice or how he grew lost sometimes and how his siblings changed. Vector listened silently and when she finished admitted he couldn’t remember such things or noticed anything wrong. When he tried to focus there was a fog, but he knew her and loved and trusted her above all others. If she said something was wrong he would believe her.
Vector gave her the key and they swore to always be honest with each other and he promised to refrain from using his powers until this affliction was repaired as she feared she’d lose him to time without her and if he used her she’d lose him to lost memories. Once the night grew most boisterous, Vector accompanied his wife to Vector Sigma to confer with Primua, whom all the Thirteen had agreed not to disturb unless things were dire.
Primus confirmed that Unicron had meddled and made Vector remember the strangeness of Quintus’s long absence conveying that something was wrong.
Primus shared visions on what they would need to both remove the virus from the Mini-Cons who Primus welcomed wholeheartedly as new children, sending waves of approval to the guilt-ridden Scorpia, and how to create a patch for the Virus in the Thirteen and others. They would need Solus’s genius, an untouched example of their coding, and a piece of Unicron’s Spark to build from.
The last of which would prove the most difficult to retrieve as during the war against Unicron, Megatronus had sent a great blow to Unicron’s Spark knocking out fragments but they were rare and scattered, creating the fiercest of monsters.
Vector and Scorpia left to find their compatriots and work towards the cure.
But unknown to them they had been seen.
Ooo so Micronus's side of the plan is working, and everyone's temporarily getting along again.
Also yes on Reforged instilling a connection between Rodimus and Solus in us. I still have only read a little bit of it, it's in my tabs I swear, but it only took a little bit of the fic to make me realize just how solid of a comparison it is. And, from what I have on the tfwiki in terms of personality for Solus, I'm pretty sure you're still right.
Ooo on them bringing close ones and companions too??? Yes???
Oh No, Vector caught Scorpia. Fuck.
ohhh, aww, vector.
YEP NOW IS THE TIME TO WAKE DADDY PRIMUS
So it's questing time? (I say as if they hadn't already been doing this)
Oh no
Unknown to them they had been seen.
Oh no

The Blue Spectre
Tumblr media
"They say a lot of things, legends, myths, stories back on cybertron. They tell tales of Halonix and Zarak Maximus, their battle. They speak of the Howling in our wilds, or the loss of our fourth moon. Things we know, things that linger in our shared history. Optimus Prime has become a hero of legends, as much of Dimicron Prime, or Delta Magnus. In a sense, so have I. Among the Decepticons, they speak stories of me, not that they know it. Back when I was filled with rage. They speak of my cloak, shimmering blue, appearing atop our mountains, or on the ridge of the Sonic Canyons, only for a storm to come about and strike them down with bolts of lightning. They think of me as a vengeful spirit, some say I'm the culmination of Grindcore, others that I'm the hatred formed by our world as a whole. The thing most of them don't realize, is that I'm not a legend. I exist, and I have come for them. What seems divine to them, has become little more than an arm raise, and the pull of a trigger to me. I am their voice, born from hate from that Miner's decent into bloodlust. I am the one to carry on the chant of the silenced in Praxus. A Spectre, who's song is that of thunder."

This is Big Bang, a large Autobot who was intended to succeed Transformers Zone protagonist Dai Atlas as Autobot Supreme Commander in the 1991 storyline for the Transformers brand in Japan, but was replaced by Star Convoy (aka the resurrected Optimus Prime) in the released storyline Return of Convoy. Had he remained the lead character, he would have fought alongside Autobot Battlestars Iron Baron (Grandus in the final release) and Sky Garry to defeat the threat of Dark Nova.
Due to his status as a scrapped yet fully designed character, Big Bang has only made a few cameo appearances elsewhere in the series after being showcased in a Japan-exclusive series guidebook. He appeared in a few stories written by the Transformers Collectors Club as the Communications Officer of the Autobot Elite Guard under Sentinel Major, and IDW's Allspark Almanac II would identify a version of the character from the world of Transformers Animated who held the rank of Prime and was mentally-bonded to the giant Autobot Beta Supreme, who took the form of his starship, the Battlestar. His latest appearance in media would be in the rebooted IDW comics, in a flashback fighting alongside fellow obscure Autobot champion Halonix Maximus against Gaidora and his pack of turbofoxes.

Fun fact, I am currently stalled on "The Lost City" because I have to go back and write fairytales/myths relating to Doradus and its inhabitance for C-01 | Orion Pax to learn about from Over-Run.
So now I've got to write something for: Halonix Maximus, Scorpia, Xal, Termagex, and Cryak.

Dear Vector Prime, Should I devote my life to trying to find the character model for Halonix Maximus?
Dear Obsessed Observer,
I should hope not! Spreading love, fighting injustice, creating beautiful works of art—there are so many better causes to devote your life to.
