Fanboy - Choi Seung Hyun/T.O.P x reader Part 2

Summary: After wrapping up filming for squid game, you realize, you aren't ready to leave yet, or at least, you weren't ready to leave Seung Hyun yet

Warnings: haha you thought the last one was sad? Buckle up my lovelies

You and your co-star had started a pattern, every night you'd alternate between hanging out on set, or hanging out at different clubs after filming wrapped, sometimes with other co-stars sometimes it was just Seung Hyun and you. It wasn't a problem until things started getting weird, after an accidental one night stand together neither of you decided to stop the pattern, the only difference was, the gazes, the touches, holds, had a lot more longing behind them.

Smiling as you walked onto set Seung Hyun was standing at the doors smiling "Happy death to you!" He cheered, you frowned smacking his chest "It's not a fun day, you ass!" You protested "My tv lover is killing me and I have to leave my best friend!" You whined holding his hands tightly as you stood on your tip toes to touch your nose with his, you needed to stress how serious this was. Jae-Won (Player 124) smirked from a distance standing next to Yu-ri "Are they together yet?" He asked watching the two of you in confusion "No..but if they do get together, people will lose it" She smiled, clapping her hands together happily, Seung Hyun smiled looking at you, his cheeks turning a soft pink from how close you were to him, reminding him of the one night spent on top of you, having your faces the same distance as you both came together.

"Action!" Your director called, you stood on your mark, taking Seung Hyun's advice on your character's emotions and started to think of the fact that you were leaving, and the routine you had grown so comfortable and used to with Seung Hyun was coming to end just as fast as it started. Tears starting to spill from your eyes as you let out a soft sob "I-I'm sorry" You whimpered, Seung Hyun froze, forgetting his lines for a moment as his heart broke, seeing the true and genuine sadness wash across your face "I told you I'd fucking kill you" He growled, trying his best to keep his glare on you harsh as the camera now held both of you in frame "T-Thanos please! I-I don't want to go not yet please!" You begged, going slightly off script before giving Seung Hyun his cue, you both acted out him stabbing your side repeatedly, the blood pack taped to your side starting to soak fake blood through your shirt as you grabbed Seung Hyun's hand "P-Please" You begged, He just threw your hand down storming out of the bathroom set, leaving the sound stage entirely before covering his ears knowing what was coming from his script.

"Su-Bong! P-Please! I don't want to die! I-I want to stay with you! Please don't leave me!" You cried, holding your side as you slowly letting your hand fall into your lap before letting your head fall to rest on your shoulder "Cut!" The director shouted, Nobody moved as your stayed where you were, your knees coming to your chest as you sobbed, your quickly hid your face in your hands "Y/n! That was beautiful!" your director shouted before taking notice to your state, Seung Hyun approached the set, taking notice to your sobs he rushed over, wrapping his arms around you gently "Are you okay, sweetheart?" he asked softly, you just wrapped your arms around him "I-I'm serious! I don't want to leave you yet, Seung Hyun" You sobbed, he had to fight back his own tears as he held you close to him "hey, You're not leaving yet" He whispered trying to comfort you, you just continued to cry in his arms, your other co-stars you had gotten close with had approached, trying to comfort you as well.

After a moment, Seung Hyun finally managed to get you back to your trailer and slightly calmed down. He laid reclined back on the couch with your head on his chest, your body pressed close against his as he ran his fingers through your hair, you had fallen asleep not long ago, but Seung Hyun was stuck thinking about everything with you. Pulling out his phone he called the one person he knew would help him with his issue, Ji-Yong. "Helloooo" He sang happily into the phone "Hey...You're the one coming to get Y/n right?" He asked quietly into the phone "Yes sir, as her fake boyfriend it's my job" He said proudly into the phone, Seung just rolled his eyes, why a fake boyfriend whenever Seung Hyun could just be your real boyfriend. "She's um...listen man I'm just going to be honest about everything. Her and I got drunk the other night..and ended up..together..if you know what I mean, well...after that..I started thinking about y/n differently..and she broke down after wrapping up her final scene begging not to leave yet...do you think..there's something there?" Seung Hyun asked nervously, Ji-Yong sighed, torn, he had promised to keep your words about Seung Hyun a secret from him, but here he was basically saying he felt the same, but he knew his friend wouldn't make a move until he had a for sure sign. "You didn't hear it from me..but she's calling one of us every night asking about you, what you like, how you were when you were in her spot" He explained, trying to step carefully so he wasn't betraying your trust "So...You think there's something there?" Seung hyun asked before hearing his old friend groan "Man...I promised her I wouldn't say anything!" He shouted, Seung Hyun grunted in frustration "If you think it's possible just say...she's pretty" He said, trying to get any type of answer from Ji-yong "Then she's Very Very Pretty" Ji-Yong smirked, knowing he just set the ball in motion for you both "I just...She's amazing..her voice is so calming and her eyes are always sparkling like the stars, she's more eye catching and beautiful than any piece of art I've ever seen" Seung Hyun whispered into the phone, not realizing you had woken up, watching as he spoke to your friend "So..You guys won't be upset..If I talk to her?" he asked hopeful, not wanting to make anybody upset "Man, I'm happy to see you both happy, you're both family, and seeing you happy together is even better" Ji-Yong explained, after saying his goodbyes, Seung Hyun ended his phone call, glancing down at you, meeting your gaze made his cheeks heat up in an intense blush, of course you were awake, you had probably heard everything as well.

You were quiet, just scanning over your best friends face, Seung Hyun could feel his nerves jump whenever you still hadn't said something "So...Are you going to talk to me?" You asked, you weren't cutting him any slack, if he wanted to ask you out, he had to put the work in, even though he was already there basically. "Well I mean..how much did you hear?" He asked sheepishly glancing away, feeling anxious under your gaze now, only now coming to the realization he had one of South Korea's K-pop sweethearts pressed against him, looking at him like he hung the moon and stars all for her, how the hell did he get here? "That the Top of K-pop thinks I'm pretty and more eye catching than any of the art he's seen" You blushed teasing him with his words "And it's true, the last handful of years I've dealt with a lot, and I've felt like I don't deserve anything..But when you're around I feel...normal?" He questioned "I don't know, I just know..I don't want the other night to be a one time thing...but I don't want us to be just sex after clubs" He added on, your heart skipped a beat, realizing you were living out almost every K-pop fan's dream, T.O.P, THE Seung Hyun was laying next to you admitting his feelings for you. You just smiled at him softly, pressing your lips to his softly, it wasn't like the multiple times before, like the other night, or whenever you were both dancing on the dance floor. The kiss this time was soft, filled more with love than want, Seung Hyun's hand gently cupped your cheeks as he pulled away slowly.

"I'm going to miss you" You whispered, you had spent the entire night talking with Seung Hyun, preparing yourself to leave him here while you went back to your hometown. "You'll see me soon..I promise" He reassured as he walked you towards the gate of the airport where Ji-Yong was supposed to meet you to fly back with you "I don't want to leave though" you whimpered, feeling your eyes gloss over with tears "My love..I swear, on the moon and stars, I will be with you again, so as the sun rises and sets, watch it with joy knowing I'm somewhere watching the same, thinking of how it resembles your beautiful eyes as the morning sunrise and sunset hits them, waiting until I can see you again" he whispered pressing his lips to your forehead gently "Seung Hyun! Could you stop making moves on my girl so I can get her home?" Ji-Yong shouted excitedly, rushing over to pull you both into a hug "Oh look at you two! K-pops power couple!" He cheered, you just held onto Seung Hyun tighter, trying to fight back your tears as you said your final goodbye. As you walked away you bit your knuckles, Ji-Yong taking your carryon and free hand giving it a comforting squeeze as he looked back, his heart breaking for his two best friends as he saw Seung Hyun squatted down where he stood, trying to conceal his own tears and sobs as the woman who somehow changed his life in the span of a few weeks walked onto a plane, not knowing when he'd be able to see you again.

As you sat in your seat you tried to compose yourself, but it was difficult whenever you knew somewhere Seung Hyun was inside of the airport, needing a hug and comfort, Ji-yong held your hand tightly, hating to see how broken you were over this, you weren't ever sad, even on your emotional songs and verses, you still somehow sounded bubbly, so seeing you so lost and broken hurt him in ways he didn't think was possible.

Whenever you got back home you weren't any better, immediately rushing to your room and hiding under your mountains of blankets, not wanting anybody to talk to you unless it was Seung Hyun.

What they do for White Day (pt.3)

❥ A/N: The final part of my What they do for White Day Enstars special! I hope everyone has a wonderful White Day even if you don't celebrate it! Decided on these characters for last because 1. everyone likes Hiiro and Leo and 2. I haven't written for Kanata, Ibara and Yuzuru in such a long time!

🤍 HIIRO AMAGI

This was Hiiro's first time celebrating Valentine's Day, so when you gifted him your chocolates after school, he was appreciative that you thought of him. He didn't understand the implications of the gift until you confessed your feelings which made him feel awkward as his cheeks blushed.

Deep down, he knew he liked you romantically too. That's why he stuck to you like glue, greeting you a lively good morning and helping you in any way he can.

But he didn't know that he had to reciprocate your gifts until Aira told him about White Day. He thought your confession had already established a relationship together, but if that's what the customs here are and if it would make you happy, then he'll do his best to make White Day a special day for you!

Thankfully, Aira was there to guide him so he wouldn't mess up. During lunch, he asked you to go meet him by the fountain where he gifted you a silver bracelet and a box of white chocolates. Surprisingly, he didn't need Aira's help in choosing the jewellery because he knew what looked best on you.

"Let me help you put it on!" he said happily. "There. Haha, it looks pretty, don't you think? Happy White Day, (Y/N). I hope we can celebrate even more holidays together!"

🤍 LEO TSUKINAGA

Leo jumped up and down excitedly when he received those Valentine's chocolates from you. He bragged about it the whole day, annoying the NEW DI idols in the process.

"Uwaaa! Thank you, (Y/N)!" he beamed, hugging you tightly. "Hahaha, I like you too, you know? What else should we do today? Should we go to..."

So a relationship was established with Leo almost immediately. The two of you were already close to begin with, so it wasn't too much of a surprise to others. Shockingly, he was a pretty attentive boyfriend. He always found time to check up on you during work and would provide you with drinks and snacks. Sometimes he'd leave notes, some of which were lyrics about you, and others were just stick drawings of the two of you.

These little things would always make you smile. Therefore, for White Day, Leo bought you a box of White Day-themed cookies that the two of you shared together. And of course, he had composed you a song so beautiful that it made you shed a few tears.

"Hahaha, Happy White Day, (Y/N)!" he exclaimed as he wiped your tears away. "I love you so so much! Anyway, is there anything else you'd like to do? We can do everything you want!"

🤍 KANATA SHINKAI

Kanata was new to the whole romance scene, so when you gifted him chocolates for Valentine's Day, he wondered what the occasion was.

"Oh, I see! So that's what you do on 'Valentine's Day'~" he said excitedly. "Thank you for the 'chocolates', (Y/N). Let's share them, okay~?"

However, that didn't mean he was oblivious to everything. He knew about White Day since Kaoru used to participate in it a lot back in school, so he had some idea of what to do. Additionally, he asked around because he wanted to give you, his lover, the best he could.

So on White Day, the two of you spent time together by the sea, lighting sparklers and giggling to each other's stories. He had gifted you a pearl necklace and a koi plushie from AOUMI Aquarium.

"Koi fishes symbolise love~" he explained, smiling from ear to ear. "I love you, (Y/N). Happy White Day!"

🤍 IBARA SAEGUSA

As he expected, the chocolates you made him for Valentine's Day were alluring and sweet, but what he liked most of all was the love letter you wrote for him. He would keep it in his pocket, rereading the contents when he took his short breaks at work. A smile would always appear when he did so which made coworkers wonder what he was reading.

He had planned everything out before White Day like it was a project that needed to be executed perfectly. He wrote down timeframes, date ideas, and gifts that you might like. Everything had its own section in his 'White Day' binder.

If he could give you everything in the world, he would.

On White Day, he took the day off so that the two of you were able to do everything on his schedule. First was to do an activity that you liked whether it was arts and crafts or something sports related. Second, he brought you on a lunch cruise where the two of you had lunch together on the river. However, when the third activity came, he realised you were getting tired, so he brought you home to relax and watch a movie together.

That was when he gifted you a silver necklace, and of course, he wasn't going to forget the big bouquet of white flowers he had ordered.

You appreciated everything he had done for you today even those he was kind of excessive.

"Happy White Day, my dearest (Y/N). I love you from the bottom of my heart. I hope today was satisfactory. Apologies if it was too much, but I hope we can do this again soon."

🤍 YUZURU FUSHIMI

Everyone knew you were childhood friends with Yuzuru, but they didn't expect you to hand him chocolates on Valentine's Day. Because you were so bold about it, you handed them to him in class resulting in cheers from friends and classmates. This embarrassed him greatly, but his heart had skipped a beat.

"Woo-woo!" Subaru whistled. "Congrats, Fusshi!"

He accepted your chocolates, thanking you for them, but he also scolded you for being so brash.

"I appreciate it, (Y/N), but don't do that again."

However, in private, he did accept your feelings. Unexpectedly, he had feelings for you too, but with how good he was at hiding them, you were left speechless – both figuratively and literally because he had left to go find Tori.

But he wasn't going to leave it at that. He wanted to do something for you too. After all, his purpose was to serve. On White Day, he gifted you a bento box he had cooked and white roses he grew and picked. It was sweet until he presented you with the last item – a drawing he did of you.

Nevertheless, it was cute.

"Happy White Day, (Y/N)," he smiled. "I've always loved you and will always keep loving you. I'm free after school, so let's go to that place you keep pestering me about."

I am currently working on a story about Xyon (along with approximately fifty other things).

I usually write short scenarios with my characters for myself, sort of like different AUs, but they're in my native language, and I would like to make one that's Xyon x Reader specifically.

MDNI because my blog is 18+, the post itself shouldn't really be NSFW aside from biological aspects.

Uh, yeah... This is rather long for what I meant it to be (around 2.5k words excluding the notes at the beginning and end).

All that aside, here's a more in-depth look at my favorite biologist in the galaxy:

Appearance:

Since this is focused on just one Xenian, I can give a few more details about what he looks like. I really wish I was talented at drawing so I could give a visual representation of what I personally imagine, but I'll provide some images in case my words aren't clear enough (still working on that vocabulary, haha).

Let's start with his body!

As mentioned in the overall description, Xyon is around 2.5m (8'2), and if needed, he, like all other male Xenians, can stretch his torso up to 2.8m (roughly 9'2). If you're wondering which specific part gets stretched, it's the area just below the shoulders and above the stomach. (I'm using human anatomy here for convenience; if you're interested, I can definitely get into more in-depth Xenian anatomy, but I fear it might be boring.)

Whenever stretched, the skin gets damaged, sort of like horizontal stretch marks, but will shrink back to heal normally. Xenians don't do this often due to their high intelligence and lack of predators, causing it to be more of an evolutionary inconvenience these days.

While they still use it for mating displays, much like humans, they just prefer talking nowadays.

His overall body has a pretty slim, smooth look underneath the short fur. The muscles of Xenians are layered like thin sheets (muscle lasagna, anyone?) and don't bulge in the way human muscles would; instead, they just look broader and fuller.

Now, Xyon is considered skinny, even for his kind. I've mentioned it in the lore dump, but Xenians have moved past eating. They consume nutritional gel, which also explains why they are very lean, since they are literally only allowed to consume this gel, which covers their calculated daily needs.

If you know how nutrition works, though, you can probably see some holes forming in that logic. Xyon moves around a lot and therefore would technically require more, hence the skinny body.

His legs are long compared to his torso, especially below the knees (again, using human anatomy for convenience). His thighbones are rather short, the Xenian equivalent of Tibia and Fibula long (around 2/3rds of his legs; also, they don't have single bones but rather thousands of thin, long bones clustered together to form larger structures). It looks rather awkward when sitting or trying to crouch.

Fun fact: Xenians cannot kneel.

Well, technically, they can; once. And then not get back up without serious injuries. Their knees also cannot be fully bent back like a human's, but rather just enough to allow them to comfortably walk and sit. They actually also comfortably stand around in their strange crouching position whenever they are idle for long periods of time. Remember, they have a tail (sort of like this minus the scales) that they use for balance, resting in what I can only describe as a weird, tripod looking stance, sort of like they're leaning back and almost sitting on their tail.

I spent an hour trying to draw a representation of it, but it looked so goofy that I felt too embarrassed to share it. ( ´･ω･)

Anyway, his skull resembles that of an ocelot, complete with rows of sharp teeth, identifying his race as a once carnivorous one. (skull image) However, they don't have the typical cat whiskers, and their muzzle is less rounded.

Neat little tidbit, but technically, Xyon speaks with the Xenian equivalent of a lisp after sustaining an injury to his throat as a child (some of their sounds are formed in the throat, mainly the sheet metal-sounding one). However, since his words are translated into human speech for you to understand him, this doesn't carry over.

Xenian eyes also resemble those of cats; Xyon's are amber in color, but they can have various different ones. Of course he has a long, rough tongue due to their carnivorous roots.

Their entire body, except for their tails, genitalia, soles, and palms, is covered in a short, dark blue fur. (Imagine the fur of smooth, short coated dogs like a Doberman, Great Dane, Boxer, Beagle, etc. Just a bit softer.) If you want specifics on the color, I'd say the closest is #555C6C, ironically called Blue Planet. It looks sort of washed out due to their skin underneath being a dark gray.

His feet and hands are generally very similar in shape to those of a raccoon, except they have retractable claws and four fingers instead of five (a thumb and three fingers).

As mentioned in the species lore dump, they have retractable genitalia that are hidden underneath a layer of skin until they are exposed. It can actually harden while hidden, making their skin bulge. However, this can be quite painful since the space allowing for their phalluses isn't meant to support them in their full size.

If we're taking semen, it looks rather blueish in hue and the consistency is thicker and sort of slimy, designed to stick to a female's eggs.

Sources (cough cough) confirm it has a rather sweet-ish flavour, consuming too much of it does cause nausea in humans though.

Personality:

Xyon is an incredibly curious individual, especially later on (you'll see why in a second). He wants to know anything and everything about this planet and its inhabitants. He likes finding new plants, scanning them, and then observing for a while. He marvels at the strange animals that live on this planet (I should mention at this point that any story including Xyon is post-apocalyptic) and Earth's impressive landscapes.

Despite being very curious, he's still an extremely obedient follower of orders. For example, in one story I wrote, he was running out of his nutritional bio-gel and would simply refuse actual food, despite the scanner clearly telling him it was harmless for him to eat, choosing to starve rather than disobeying the directive to only consume the gel.

He does end up breaking one major rule, which ends up changing his entire life.

You see, while he is a biologist and was sent to earth to study and document flora and fauna for the intergalactic database, he is strictly forbidden from interacting with humans, whether positively or negatively, the only exception being for self-defense purposes. This is largely due to humans being known as primitive and extremely violent.

Xyon shares this narrative at first, since his research partner Xuan was murdered and subsequently eaten by humans after trying to peacefully interact with them.

That is, until he runs into, well, you. A lone human, injured, and on the brink of death. At first, he considers leaving you to die, then he considers observing you while you pass away, only to finally decide that even if you do attack him, he wants to help you.

Another bit of a flaw in his character is his naivety. Xenians don't have concepts like sarcasm; even lying isn't exactly something they do or consider, as it goes against their morals. This ends up with him believing everything you tell him, curiously inquiring about the most obvious of lies.

Not to mention, he speaks incredibly bluntly, which might come off as rude. This does actually improve after Xyon spends more time with you, since he learns to imitate the way you speak rather than sticking to the cold, scientific speech he uses at first.

I like to think this is a product of Xenian society, as scientists and research purpose tiers don't exactly experience individualism or even enough free will to build their own personalities to the point of even having distinguishing character traits.

I'm not sure how much I mentioned in the other lore dump (I tried to keep it short, so I kept cutting things out), but I do remember mentioning that Xenians practice culling unhatched eggs based on desirable base intelligence, health, etc. which is calculated based on your family tree, essentially. One's purpose is also determined by those stats.

Eggs far above the desired base intelligence usually become researchers and scientists, the highest "purpose" you can possibly have in their race. However, that also means that you not only get gaslit into thinking that's the only thing you're good at, you don't even get a chance to consider anything else.

Xyon is a biologist, and he cannot ever be anything but a biologist. He doesn't even have the mere choice of disliking his career, because it isn't just his job; it's his entire life.

Did I mention I love playing with such dystopian concepts?

Over the course of spending more time with you, he does eventually develop his own personality, or rather strengthen the few cracks that were present all along. But he can't help but look at you for guidance, despite being in the Xenian equivalent of his late twenties to early thirties. The concepts of being allowed to experience individualism and freely express himself are foreign to him.

I do want to mention that some Xenians do have their own personalities. This forced conformity is practiced in their general society, but only as bad as this on the higher purpose tiers, like the one he is in.

He does eventually turn into a gentle giant. I like to imagine him like a Disney princess, holding out one claw with a bird on it, like Snow White. Xyon does enjoy providing meat for you, which is a more primitive way to show that he is a suitable mate in his culture (though usually it goes both ways, or it used to, since they don't hunt anymore).

I like the concept of taking a step back from the highly intelligent life form and reverting to some more primitive practices as he develops individuality.

He never gets to the point of actively resenting his culture and planet, but rather accepts that this is one of its many differences from Earth and can be considered a flaw. In reality, he does find comfort in having a purpose, especially after you essentially tell him what life on earth was like. He finds the idea of having the freedom to try anything overwhelming, and not knowing what you're truly made for is terrifying in his eyes.

Beliefs and Values:

While a form of religion does still exist on his planet, due to the forced conformity and his purpose as a biologist, he was taught to disregard such matters for lack of logic.

Despite that, he does actually secretly believe in things like fate, especially in the context of finding one's mate.

Yet, mates are a pretty sore spot for him.

Due to their personalities, or rather lack thereof, and long absence from their planet in the name of science, higher-tier Xenians don't usually find a mate, often either living alone until death or dying during research.

Xyon does eventually express the belief that meeting you was fate and that you two were meant to end up as mates, despite being different in many ways.

He also believes that meeting you was meant to prove that humans weren't as destructive and savage as originally assumed.

(There is a whole other discussion of why earth became post-apocalyptic in the first place, and while the answer is a bit more convoluted than that, Xyon believes that the planetary representatives collectively decided that humans could not go on the way they were, and instead of risking a valuable planet that could host life being destroyed beyond repair, they would simply flatten major settlements and reset them to see whether they would grow from this experience or perish altogether.

Ironically, in reality, this was actually voted against in the end due to humans not having encountered extraterrestrial life yet and the promising scientific progression, but one race, fairly similar to humans themselves in nature (though not in looks), decided it would be for the better, carrying out the invasion on their own accord. While they weren't completely erased themselves, most of the higher-ranking beings from that planet were executed. This, however, is not common knowledge, as the representatives did cover it up in order to avoid other races being encouraged to disobey.)

While the race of Xenians does have values pertaining to open-mindedness and equality, they are fairly limited in nature. They do allow for sexual and romantic expression (on the lower tiers, mostly), but you can never, ever have the same standing as someone born with a higher tier purpose.

This means that even if you end up exceeding your calculated base intelligence by a lot, you will still be stuck in a purpose that isn't for you and have no chance of changing it.

Ironically, while a social hierarchy does exist, lower tiers are usually considered happier and have far more freedom than higher tiers. Because, again, they get stripped of all individuality to become mindless little researchers.

I purposely didn't specify Xyon's values in this case because, as you can imagine, being forced into a certain mindset does mean he has the same values as the collective, though it does change over time, with him expressing that while he does still support the tiers and purpose, he wishes it was less strict.

Family and Social Circle:

Xyon does actually have a family; he wasn't raised in a mating group. Unlike humans, Xenians don't have a close bond with their parents or siblings since they aren't fully raised by them but rather taken away early in life (around 4–7 in human years) to be trained for their purpose, which results in rather shallow bonds.

His father's purpose is to nurse and educate young Xenians that have either lost their parents or were abandoned, while his mother is the leader of their local tribe, which one can become regardless of tier, following an election process similar to that on earth.

Xyon does have irregular contact with them and even occasionally visits them while on Xen'jai, which is incredibly rare.

He had one older brother, who became a soldier and died very early on due to conflict between Xen'jai and their neighboring planet.

Xyon did have one friend, the female biologist Xuan, who was his assigned research partner.

Due to the nature of their work and purpose, social circles for their tier are small, if they exist at all.

This actually affects Xyon greatly. Now that his old partner is gone, he is alone on a foreign planet, and with Xenians being social creatures, it does make him feel lonely.

On several occasions, he has actually tried seeking out other research teams from his planet that were sent to Earth, and he briefly had contact with a male geologist named Xenon, who ended up being killed, or at least that's Xyon's assumption when his signal completely disappeared (hint hint nudge nudge, he is the other one I like writing about, and he is in fact not dead).

There is one more Xenian that Xyon is aware of on earth: a female meteorologist. He does not know her name; however, he has responded to several distress signals relating to her losing her bio-gel rations to humans.

Unfortunately, she was too far away for him to actually help (she is a character I want to write about in the future as well o(〃＾▽＾〃)o ).

Well, technically speaking, Xyon (and at some point Xuan), like any other research pair, does have a ship, but being the rule-following Xenian he is, he did not leave his assigned area (which is roughly central Europe in canon btw), though he briefly considered it until getting confirmation that the situation had sorted itself out.

It is likely due to this that he even considered helping you in the first place, because he was lonely and probably hoping deep down that a human could somehow keep him company.

Which... I mean... it worked out in his favor. Good for him.

Can you believe I still left stuff out? I also ended up dumping more lore for the species itself. I promise one day I'll go back and rewrite both the Species info and probably this one as well. I kind of want to write another big info-dump for Xen'jai as a planet, because there's a lot I want to get into, like the hierarchy, religion, history and evolution of the planet, which felt too out of place here.

☆ hobie is the one who proposed going to the beach and you'd be the only one who hyped him up. the hardest spidersociety's member to convince obviously being miguel, you ran to lyla to do so. (since he has a soft spot for her he said yes, not for fun but to watch on you and the others. (but he actually ends up having fun)

"come on, it'll be fun!plus, it would be a shame to not come since it's like 35 degrees outside, and it'd give you a well-deserved vacation"

+ he's the kind to throw you in the freezing water because he'd find it funny how you're mad at him afterwards (but you never stay mad at him for a long time because look at that man. he is a slut. (in a pretty way) + he's also the kind of boyfriend to carry you on his shoulders to like. idk what's that's called but like he'd have on his shoulders and fight another person on another's shoulders. (you would lose bc you didn't stop moving)

☆ miguel would be the grumpy kind for sure. he came there because he knew that'd make him happy and you know he can't help it when it comes to his sunshine <3 (guess lyla isn't his only soft spot X)) he would definitely hold you like a princess in the water and teach you how to swim if you don't know how to,, he'd even find it cute

and then he'd just turn into the softest teacher ever bc it'd remind him of teaching his daughter. eventually you didn't succeed at learning how to swim, but at least you spent a very wholesome moment together :D

🛸 HEADCANON LIST:

1. Octane would always make sure that you feel happy. Always trying to think of the best ideas when he's around you. He might not care about safety tho! So make sure that before going out on a date with him you will check if it won't kill you.

Once he actually wanted to go and do DIY bungee jumping off of one of the high bridges and you stopped him last second before disaster. He was actually convinced that his hand-made harness was safe enough to hold his wholy body weight.

He also forgot about what would happen after you both jump...Because...Who would pull you up back on the bridge?

2. First person to know about his feelings towards you was suprisingly not Lifeline (he trusted her but he was 100% sure that she'd try to convince him that it was not a good idea to date you since he could ruin your life with his personality and addictions) so he told that to...Wattson. She was so happy to help him ask you out but it was a big disaster.

3. He barely sleeps but when he's cuddling with you - he always gets sleepy really fast! Give him two minutes of back rubs and he's sleeping like a baby. He also prefers to be a big spoon, he uses you like a big pillow he can hug and that makes him feel warm. [He detaches his legs when he's laying on a couch, but sometimes he forgets about it and sleeps with them on, which leads to a cold metal touching your legs in the middle of the nights]

4. He lives in social media so your relationship would be shown to all of his fans. He'd also make sure that everyone knows that you're taken. Octane might not get jealous easily but he's also not a cheater, he is loyal and he wants you to be loyal as well.

5. Octavio is the best at making surprises. He'd give you lots of gifts no matter if there would be a special occasion or not, he'd love to give you small things like sweet treats, bottles of your favorite drinks, but sometimes he'd just come to you and give you a really expensive figurine of your favorite characters and he'd be like "whoops! I might've spent some money on it...But at least youre happy, right, chica?".

HOLD ME TIGHT, PLEASE

Octavio was known for always being in a rush, running around, stimming, he couldn't sit in one place for long. You were unique, quiet, and you had all the earmarks of being the specific inverse of him. Your first meeting might not have been perfect, well, it was, in fact, a mess because Octane, for the first time in his life, was speechless. Couldn't keep his eyes off of you, not uttering a word, simply seeming to be a weirdo. Ajay had to physically move him away because he started to get overly energetic, playing with his fingers, not being sure what to do. He was just stunned, and you were too embarrassed to even think about it.

Time passed, and with that you and Octane grew closer and closer. When he discovered the fact that you enjoy the same games and activities as him - he almost proposed to you on the spot, but back then you weren't even together yet. The only thing you shared were slight, delicate touches, soft glances and quality time. Hours you spent in his room, having fun, feeling happier than ever. And he felt like for the first time in his whole life - someone understood him. Oh, how could he not love you?

So, with the help from Wattson he was finally able to confess. It was a mess, as I mentioned before, because nothing went as planned, but that only made his heart race faster, and we all know that he loved that. His cheeks were flushed, he was not sure what his body was doing, but when you walked out of your room, all pretty and in best clothes you could find, all the plans, all the things he wanted to say to you were gone. You took over his mind so easily, it was almost scary. If only you knew how much power you had… He'd do anything you asked him to, and more.

⎯⎯⎯⎯  Oh, muñeca, you look…incredible!⎯⎯⎯⎯  He whispered after a moment of silence. He grabbed your hand and pulled harshly, almost making you fall, but you managed to stay on your feet. You didn't know where he was heading, and if he had to be honest - he was also unsure of your destination. The only thing he knew was that Natalie had found this place, and it was supposed to be great. Well, everything was great when it was with you, at least that's what he thought.

Everything was beautiful. The streets he ran across, his laugh, the softness of his skin. Everything glowed on its own. And you smiled, surrounded by that beauty, even though you weren't surrounded by anything special. Everything was beautiful. Not that there was anyone to share it with except Octavio, anyone to tell. Just the beauty that was bright and worth remembering.

And Octavio couldn't wait, he was impatient, so to make sure you wouldn't run away from him, he hugged you tightly. He took off his mask when you didn't look, and then sighed when you wanted to ask what was going on. ⎯⎯⎯⎯ Shh, I just… I don't know how to tell you that, but… You make me the happiest man alive, and… I don't want to loose you if you don't feel the same. Can you please hold me tight so I can at least feel… Your warmth for the last time, if that is the last time we talk? ⎯⎯⎯⎯  That confession was rushed because Octane was not the one to wait and be elegant.

You didn't understand what he tried to say, you actually didn't understand anything because he was speaking so fast. ⎯⎯⎯⎯ So what you're trying to say is… ⎯⎯⎯⎯  you started, but got interrupted once again.

⎯⎯⎯⎯  Hold me. Please. ⎯⎯⎯⎯  he asked, his voice close to breaking. And so you did, your arms around him felt so right, like they belonged there, and the cheap perfume he decided to wear on this special occasion seemed just enough to make you feel safe and good.

⎯⎯⎯⎯  What I tried to say is that… I love you. I can't get enough of you, and I don't know if I can even live without you. I cannot make any promises to you as the world may as well end tomorrow, however, this love is my drug. If I could, I'd spend whole days with you by my side, you know? I hope I don't sound like too much of a psycho, ha? ⎯⎯⎯⎯  He giggled, not letting you go, waiting for a response, and trying to mentally prepare himself for rejection. You could feel that weird feeling in your stomach, and the heart that was bumping so fast that it was almost insane. Shallow breaths and sweat on your palms that you tried to ignore.

⎯⎯⎯⎯  Oh, shut up you stupid man and just kiss me… ⎯⎯⎯⎯  you replied, and then a moment of silence stepped in between you. Octane was ready for dismissal, yet nobody set him up for a cheerful closure, so he was simply remaining there like a robot whose program had quit working.

You looked up and met his eyes, which were shining, happily. And a kiss on the lips that he shared with you was the closest thing to heaven you ever experienced.

After some time you went to find Theo, wanting to ask him if there was any update on the conversation in the back room.  When you went to check on them the two of them were gone.

Theo: Huh?  Where did they go?

You push open the door and look around the room and there is no one inside.

Mitsuki: There is no one in here

There is no trace of them either.

Mitsuki: Maybe they went for a walk?  We would have heard them if there was any sort of argument.

Theo sighed.  It is not like the gallery is going badly, but this definitely wasn’t something he expected.  

Theo: If that is Salai, Leonardo is going to have some explaining to do.

He turns on his heels and goes back out.  He has enough to keep track of that he doesn’t need this getting in his way.

Mitsuki:  Leonardo turned him. . . then left him?

That made no sense. Something had to have happened to-

Arthur: What are you and Theo up to, luv?

Mitsuki: eek!  Arthur!

You turn around to see him walking in.

Arthur: The two of you keep sneaking around without inviting me~

You roll your eyes, knowing what Arthur is hinting at.

Arthur:  Something has been bothering you since I saw you earlier, what is it?

Of course you can’t hide anything from Arthur.  There is no point in trying.  You might as well come out and say it before he starts going all detective on you.

Mitsuki: It’s Andrea.  He has been-

Arthur: I knew he was trouble

Arthur puts an arm around you, pulling you close.

Arthur: Looks like I still have a chance after all~

The smirk on his face quickly disappeared when you didn’t go to push him away.

Arthur: What happened, Mitsuki?  Where is he?

Mitsuki: He left…

You took a little too long of a pause and Arthur butted in again.

Arthur:  Is that man a fopdoodle?

Mitsuki: A wha- never mind.

That caught you off guard that you almost forgot what you were going to say.

Mitsuki: He left with Leonardo.

Arthur: So he is a bedswerver.

You look at him, very confused and take a step away from him.

Mitsuki: Now you are sounding like Shakespeare.

Arthur:  Ow, hard move.  I spent a little too much time with him yesterday.  Now what is going on with Andrea?  I’ll beat him up for you.

Mitsuki: No no nothing like that.  He, um, I think he is one of Leonardo’s old apprentices, and he’s back as a vampire.

Arthur was quiet for a moment, looking at you with a serious, puzzling look before breaking out into laughter.

Arthur: haha, good one luv!

Mitsuki: I’m being serious!

He wipes a tear from the corner of his eye

Arthur: That was over 400 years ago, and who would bring him back?  Comte and Vlad haven’t been able to use the door, nor has Vlad mentioned bringing back someone else.  How could he have-

Mitsuki:  Leonardo turned him

Silence.  You thought Arthur was going to laugh again.  You know he was getting to the point about how Leonardo couldn’t have been the one to bring him back.

Arthur: You’re joking?

Mitsuki: Then give me another outcome, Mr. Holmes.

Arthur frowned as you glared at him.  He gave you nothing.

Mitsuki: That’s what I thought.

Arthur: So that is what you meant when you said they know each other.

Arthur sighs. And walks you out of the back room.

Arthur: I’m sure everything is fine.  If that is all true then Leonardo must have taken him to the mansion to talk.

You nod your head, following beside him

Leonardo and Salai are sitting outside at a cafe not far from the gallery.  Leonardo got them both coffee and insisted on Salai getting something to eat.  Salai is holding the cup in his hands, still having a hard time looking up at him.  Leonardo sits back in his chair, not taking his eyes off of him.

Leonardo: How did you find me, bambino?

Salai: Your notebooks.  I kept going through all of them, hoping you mentioned someone I would be able to find.

He anxiously sips the coffee. 

Leonardo: You still have my notebooks?

Salai nodded, looking up at Leonardo for a moment before looking back down.

Salai: I kept everything of yours that I could.  I didn’t want to lose any of it.  One was misplaced and I finally found it a few years ago.  It had St. Germaine’s name in it and I vaguely remember him when I was younger.  I found out he was in Paris and I got here as quickly as I could.

Leonardo was surprised at how much work he was putting into finding him.  He never doubted that Salai wasn’t smart, but after what happened he thought he would move on.

Salai: I heard a few things about him but no one seemed to know exactly where he lived, and since I needed to pay rent I was painting in the city hoping I would see either him or you.

Leonardo: Bambino… I’m sorry.

Salai: Y-you didn’t come back. I-I needed you

Just as he seemed like he was starting to calm down, tears began to form in his eyes.  Leonardo leans forward and puts his hand over one of his.

Leonardo: I know, I know.  I shouldn’t have.  Or at the least went looking for you.

Salai finally looks up at him, trying so hard not to let the tears fall.

Leonardo: When we’re done why don’t you take me to where you’ve been staying?  We’ll move your things to the mansion.

Salai: Really?

He uses the cuff of his sleeve to wipe his eyes.  Leonardo smiles and nods at him then sits back in his chair.

hey just wondering, how do you draw daroach? i wanna figure him out for myself but dont feel like i get down how he looks well enough. thanks for the help if you have any, if not then thanks for just answering

Thank you for the question! And, yeah, I totally get it - that rat can be a nightmare to draw sometimes, haha. I definitely struggled with him a lot at first (you can kinda tell if you compare my earlier works to my recent ones). I think it’s because so much of him is obscured by his outfit in official art? The way the brim of his hat dips over his face or how his cape likes to defy physics - all in service of a cooler silhouette, sure, but taking away a lot of readability and foundation to work from in the process. I’ll try to offer some tips that work for me (though I’m hardly an expert on this, and teaching's not exactly my strong suit, so please bear with me if things get muddled, haha).

The main piece of advice I can give is gather and study as much reference as you can. Official art, concept art, promotional stuff, sprite sheets - whatever you can find, just grab ‘em and put ‘em somewhere you can easily pull up when you’re drawing. I get most of mine from Wikirby, Spriter’s Resource, and official sites like the Kirby JP Twitter, as well as screenshots taken directly from the games (a great way to get in-motion poses and back views, I’ve found). Here’s what my ref sheet for Daroach looks like (I also have a separate one for color swatches):

Kind of a mess, yeah, but very worth it, I assure you. The more visuals you have to work off of, the easier it will be to detect consistencies in design. Which brings me to my next point: shapes!

Most Kirby characters are, at their core, just a buncha simple shapes. It can be hard to tell sometimes when they wear clothes (like with our rat buddy here), but they still have similar foundations of circles and other rounded features. A way I've found that helps with this is to try redlining (that is, take a piece of reference and trace over it for the purpose of study, learning where lines connect, how silhouettes look, how different parts overlap, what shapes are used, etc.). Here’s an example:

This is a great way to find those design consistencies I mentioned before. I did these a bit messy for a better sense of movement (and ‘cause I’m practiced enough to sketch a little quicker), but you can always start slower and cleaner if it helps you see the shapes and layers more clearly. You can even do them multiple times to familiarize yourself with the design and eventually try copying them without tracing, like doing gesture drawings or life studies.

In Daroach, I’ve found that his head isn’t a perfect circle shape, but more like a rounded diamond, with his ears connecting at or just above the “points” on the sides. His body is a bit smaller than his head, and his snout smaller still, each having sort of a teardrop-like shape. His eyes are bigger than I expected them to be, half circles tilted down slightly, often cut off by his snout and hat to create a shaper angle (meant to make him look more intimidating perhaps?). His ears are taller than his hat, though they can tilt back to look shorter. There are also a lot of arcs and triangles present in his design, especially in his cape when it sits across his form or flares out, and the brim of his hat pointing down from just past his ears to right over his snout. Also, unlike many Kirby characters, he does in fact have a neck - it's just hidden behind his collar and bell most of the time (don't ask me why I spent so long verifying this, no I don't have ulterior motives, don't look at me).

Of course, these observations aren’t set in stone. Kirby characters rarely stay perfectly on-model (see Dedede for proof of that), and Daroach is clearly no exception. I mean, just look at these official pieces (all collected from Wikirby):

Even the folks at HAL Labs are not immune to style inconsistency. And that’s not a bad thing! We love a little personal flair in this house. There’s nothing wrong with altering the design a bit to fit your own style - in fact, it’ll probably happen naturally the more you practice, especially once you’re comfortable enough to work without a guide. Here’s some studies I did recently, no tracing, just observation (with different colors used to help me figure out layering):

I’ve seen other folks take their own designs even further than this, adding more fur or sharper shapes or even realistic rat features to our favorite thief. Nothing like stretching those creative muscles once you’ve got the basics down! On that note, don’t be afraid to be inspired by unofficial sources as well. If an artist you like draws Daroach (or any character) in a way you find appealing, ask yourself what it is you like about it, study it as you study official works, and find ways to incorporate elements of that into your own art - “steal like an artist” as the saying goes.

Another thing I recommend for Daroach specifically is studying how real top hats and capes look, especially from various angles and poses in motion. I find it helps to see exactly how fabric sits on a figure or what sides show at different positions. It might seem weird to use human reference for a cartoon rat, and it might take some finagling to get proportions right, but it’s surprisingly effective. I do this with fighting and athletic poses all the time to help figure out weight distribution and line of action. Don’t be afraid to expand your art repertoire into other fields - you never know when it might come in handy!

And, of course, the key thing to hammer home here is practice, practice, practice! Do studies, do gestures, draw with and without references, build muscle memory, do sketches you show to no one, draw memes, draw angst, take your time, fill pages with messy doodles or just drop one in a corner and call it a day. The more you draw this smarmy rat, the better you’ll get. That’s the long and short of it with any skill, creative or otherwise. You gotta try in order to get good, you gotta make mistakes in order to improve, you gotta be kind to yourself in order to do what you love.

Now I have to say, I spent a little while searching for English content at the level you're asking for and I realized that I have a bit of a blind spot here due to being a native English speaker who never needed to learn it. But from my experience learning other languages combined with just stuff I like and think is addictive, here's what I recommend!!

I remember watching a lot of video game playthroughs when I was younger and had no money to buy the actual games haha, and I still go back and watch them, they're pretty nostalgic for me. Life Is Strange, anything with MadMorph, and someone I discovered in the past year, ohinova are all really entertaining! Would recommend since they have a ton of content and you can get a ton of exposure to the language that way! Languagereactor (mentioned in next paragraph) can be used on YouTube too, I think.

If you have Netflix, you should download something like languagereactor and watch some American TV shows with that - I like shows like Lost, Arcane, The Walking Dead, and of course haha ATLA in the original English. The cool thing about English-speaking TV is that the language exposure isn't over once you've watched the show. You can watch it with subtitles in your language or whatever is best (or with language reactor, which is pretty alright), because the real learning begins when you get into the fandoms. Tumblr, Reddit, YouTube shorts, you can consume so much content and learn so much English as long as you're interested in what you're reading about. As a fanfic reader I'm sure you already know this, and if you're already doing it, keep doing it!! Seriously the only way I actually learned Spanish lol. I can only imagine it works so much better for English. And you can jump in at any level, there's no pressure to talk yourself at first, you can just read posts, watch fan edits, all that short-form content that will give you a huge amount of exposure every day. You can absorb a lot of the language and surprise yourself later with just how much you know under the surface.

In fact, there's this fandom called Epic: The Musical that's huge right now and it has a lot of animatics on YouTube. A really compelling plot and distinct voices in the music and a lot of fandom involvement, which means there's a ton to get into. Here's some of my favorite animatics: Just a Man, Remember Them, and of courseeeee There Are Other Ways. Gigi is a fantastic artist and I really got into the fandom because of her animatics!! And Epic also has a really active fanbase on Reddit and here on Tumblr. NOW, I will say that you've got your work cut out for you with understanding the songs, but they're also just bottom line banger songs, so I'd say you're in for a good time anyway.

In this same genre, it could be beneficial to get into YouTube art and shortform content! I don't know if you're the kind of person to get into reels and stuff, but if you can train your feed to be full of this kind of thing it's cute and funny and pulls you in!

I'm already impressed that you're reading English fanfiction. That's how you're going to learn the language, by finding stuff in English that you're interested in and find compelling.

I don't really have any discord servers or anything, but I know there are some big ones for ATLA and other fandoms. You'll have to be on your own for that one unfortunately though, sorry!! I'm mostly on Tumblr.

Okay, listen. Before I ask two of these questions, I would like to say that you are one of the most talented DanCae writers or writers in general that I have ever seen in Ao3 because of how flexible your world-building is and how you characterize characters omg !!

I'm not yet aware if someone had asked this, but, in Infinite Stars, how would you describe caelus compared to canon? I simply want to hear it from youLMAO. I remember reading the chapters when it was still at... 80-ish thousand words, and I can't help but always mark those moments where Caelus is sorta described as the 'leader' among the trio (in the first chapters at least) and is always so knowledgable-both to making his own plans for Belobog and in general, compared to the- let's just say somewhat childish vibe that we have in canon but is still curious about the world

Idk how to word this out but what is the relationship between Dan Heng and Dan Feng? I know I'm a little late but I still remember that one chapter with the lines 'Dan Heng gives a half-laugh in response. “You’ve always been kind to me, my demon, and we have always been one. A little self-love isn’t remiss, is it?”' which is kinda... spicy if I'm being honest sorryLOL LIKE HE'S SO ASSERTIVE IN THE SITUATION IM. But yes, I simply wanted to know like, how can you even measure Dan Heng's assertiveness/dominance amongst all other things in comparison to his past life and/or their relationship

Caelus is very assertive compared to canon. He doesn't get annoyed and then do things. If you piss him off, he says haha fuck you absolutely fucking not. He has better things to do with his time, he's old, okay? Also... lmao 80 thousand words. Those were the days - I forgot this used to be a small project. (for reference, this fic is currently at 246,301 words, because fuck me and my self control tbh.) He still holds a lot of curiosity, but he has a solid idea of who the fuck he is and what the fuck he wants. He takes responsibility for himself and those around him. It's easy to say he's the leader because in the end, he is the one in charge of the journey in Belobog, and it's his say that results in them staying or going.

Dan Heng and Dan Feng share a soul bond. It's not romantically inclined, but Dan Heng is very aware of who DF was as a person and is as such very indulgent with the remains. Dan Feng has spent a very, very long time completely alone and unable to do anything to help Dan Heng, and it's made him emotionally and physically fragile. Dan Feng also, at least for IIS, has never been an active leader. He preferred to follow, trusted his friends and associates sometimes to his detriment and especially with his relationship with Yingxing, which later became his undoing. He was considered arrogant, but he simply had no social skills to be spoken of, since everyone wanted to control him, and he just wanted to figure himself out. (if you cannot tell, he has not figured himself out.)

hello!!!! I'm currently riding the high of my Sailor Moon special interest and I've always had this thought!! Usagi and Mamoru are flip4flip to me!! PGSM and the manga like pointing out that Tuxedo Mask is more similar to a magician rather than a Lupin-like character because of his abilities and in the PGSM, he was comforted by one when he was a kid! He's leaning towards the persona of a children's entertainer because of his interest in puppetry and ventriquolism, so he's a natural caregiver. On the other hand, Usagi is more of a listener caregiver who'd let little!Mamoru vent to her about his worries of the past and future, the both of them crying themselves out. <33

Usagi and Mamoru definitely seem to be the types to swap between caring for each other and being cared for, don't they? Just remembering how they did when they babysat, (For reference: S2E07. EP53 in whole series order.), Mamoru does seem pretty good with kids! Usagi obviously could use some work in that job, but she's got a lot of potential.

Usagi interpreted as a carer is so underrated. Absolutely, Carer!Usagi towards Mamo is unusually attentive and is tender as a rose. She'd just have to be, that's who she is around him. Also, as Mamoru has a trend of different types of amnesia (retrograde amnesia in the manga VS both retrograde AND anterograde amnesia in the 90s anime), due to his childhood, and the clear identity crisis that followed. I can see him having a dissociative disorder of some kind, through instances of this affecting him while regressed or not, especially needing to be looked after and cared for.

Ohh, the thought of these two openly crying their hearts out together makes me sad and happy at the same time. I do imagine Usagi would be the perfect balance of emotional support and childlike whimsy for Mamoru whenever he's regressed. They could visit animal shelters with lots of kittens since he loves animals, go to the library cause he's very smart and loves to read...

I didn't know there was a scene like that in PGSM!! Haven't seen the show at all yet, but Unity has. I'm not too knowledgeable in the manga canon either, haha. (Psst. People, feel free to add onto this post if you can come up with anything relevant covering that !)

Backstory in the R Movie tells that way back when, Usagi likely inspired Mamoru to become someone who protects and cheers up others, including her. So innocently yet already so full of heart, little child Usagi reached out to poor 6yo Mamoru while he was crying by giving him the rose. Then Mamo giving the same flower to Fiore.

I always did find that little puppet of his Tuxedo Mask persona very cute, could see him having an interest in puppetry like that, entertaining and cheering up children all over! The more I think about it, it...makes a whole lot of sense, actually, since he spent so much of his childhood alone after he was orphaned. :-(

He'd want so badly to help kids who are going through the same parental loss, same traumatic events and loneliness that he had endured for so long. Since he was already studying to become a doctor, What if he traveled to children's hospitals specifically to perform for them?

i probably recommended this BUT if you find yourself really liking stephen king (or even moderately liking him lol) i would. H I G H L Y highly recommend the dark tower series. it is amazing and incredible and i loved every second i spent reading it.

im gonna be so honest rn. i read the entire acotar series. do i think they're good books. no. but did i enjoy reading them and laughing at sarah j maas's writing style. yes. so [shrug].

and to finish i am currently reading dune (like everyone else) and its quite good along with a clash of kings which is. game of thrones. so. hard to read but fun.

1. How many works do you have on AO3?

30! Which most of them are for Nameless lmao

2. What's your total A03 word count?

304.751, about to go up again lol, probably another 80k in this month, 268,863 have been in 2023, lol. I spent a large portion of time not writing, but after my breakup this year I've started writing frequently again.

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Right now really just pokemon, if something else comes to me I'll write it, I'm working on a dragon ball z fic, but I don't touch it a ton.

4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

This is sad for me cause they all suck. I wrote them late high school early college, and they're all based on the Avengers movies (although one i think may have been the comics) it's a huge fandom, and I've had them up for 10 years so (god it's been that long already???) All of my good marvel 616 fics are missing, buried in a discord that I don't have access to anymore and word docs from a computer long since recycled

But in order, I feel Salem, Astronaut, Almost Honest, Wicked Games, The Whole World Was Moving But I was Standing Still (God what was with my names then lol)

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I try to! Sometimes I miss them, but I try to respond when I see them, even a few weeks/months later. I really appreciate comments, and I feel like I've made some friends through them, or at least they comment on stuff I write, and I can reference my other fics to them lol, though they can totally make friends on here or discord, happy to talk to anyone. I've had people tell me I inspired them to write which is seriously the highest honor.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Ummmmm maybe Ode to my Soulmate? I can't do sad endings for the most part, my philosophy is real life sucks so I always try to make happy endings, Frank Left has a nice ending, that one gets almost no love, but I adore it.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I'm not good enough/big enough to get hate, lmao. Smaller fandom now, i think there might be some negative comments on the marvel ones but I haven't read those in yearsss.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I'm trying, Oral Fixation is my most recent published, but I'm working on one where Green gives Red a blowie in his Neo Champ uniform from masters, i've been writing that since the neochampion uniforms came out months ago ahha. I'm not great at smut, but I'm practicing, fun fact I learned how to give a bj through fanfics, and used to get compliments all the time in my younger sluttier years lol (Pre-kid haha)

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

Not anymore, I used to do 101 dalmatian crossovers lol, i doubt any are published, maybe on fanfic.net but i don't even remember my username haven't touched that since like 2011, i used to do x-men crossovers where various characters would have mutant powers, but i doubt those are published either.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

I don't think so? I'm probably too small to get that kind of notice. I always welcome people to steal my aus and write their own fic with it (not copy paste my stuff, but write out the au the way they come up with with their own words)

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

I doubt it, but anyone can, I might end up translating one or two when I finally start learning a new language, or maybe improve my output on spanish (i can read it but not write/speak/listen well lmao)

Yeah but this was high school and I don't think we ever posted them, again might be on fanfic.net, but like I don't even remember my username

I don't have a favorite, maybe reguri, or 616!stony which i don't read much anymore but will always hold a place in my heart, my oldest ship is probably rougexgambit

15. What's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Blood Bank- but only because there is no ending, I'm going to continue that thing for the rest of my life, (at least quarterly updates lol although working on a new chapter now), there's also a reguri one that i wrote like 10k words on after i first started writing again, but it sucks ass, I don't love the plot to rewrite, I've written a lot more better stuff for them

16. What are your writing strengths?

I feel like I do pretty well with hints/twists. Certain characters I'm really good at writing, feel like I've gotten really good at world building, and coming up with off the wall aus. IDK i'm not good at pointing out my strengths.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Everything not listed above? Lol. No, probably missing edits and not noticing them until I'm reading the fic months later, I'm getting better at pacing and general flow, sometimes I overdo it on dialog, and leave out movement. Smut too, but i'm working on everything, the key is to just keep writing, also too many fics going at once,

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I typically don't do it unless I know the language, I'll just put it in english and say they said it in whatever lang. So like for Kalos I just say they're speaking Kalosian lol

19. First fandom you wrote for?

I used to tell stories with 101 dalmatians, but the first I ever actually wrote was from Stargate SG-1, I was like 10ish, I didn't post it, it's long since been trashed, but I was obsessed with Carter/O'neil and wanted them to adopt Cassie (i think that was her name, it's been years since I watched that show), first published is probably x-men i remember writing phoenix's force fics and posting on fanfic, might have done a ginnyxdraco for harry potter. These would be on my old fanfic.net or possibly livejournal, i don't remember,

20. Favourite fic you've ever written?

I write all my fics for myself, so i really love them all, and go back and reread them often lol

Unfinished, Under the Alolan Sun and Blood Bank, those are my passion projects, I have fun writing them,

finished, either The Most Expansive Collection of Champion Red Merch in All of Kanto (probably one of my least angsty lol) or How to Beat Champion Red at Something (my silly little ficlet about Red being a picky eater, i just giggle when i reread it)
