As You may know, i'm a BIG fan of Ariadne and Dionysus as a couple, and FINALLY IN HADES 2 WE HAVE THIS PICTURE OF HER:

SHE IS FRIKING BEAUTIFULL

And some people think that for the vague dialogues of Dio in Hades 1 they MIGHT not be a couple in the Game, but i don't believe this for 1- most of the relationships that dosen't include incest are the same in the game and Mythology, 2- this dialogue of Dio

3- when Theseus use the boons of Dionysus THEY HURT HIM TOO, kinda personal.

And then there's this little easter egg(?) if You could call it that in Ariadne's desing, that makes me CRAZY.

You see, in the myths, when Dionysus marries Ariadne, as a weeding gift, he gives her a TIARA and even makes the same tiara a constelation.

And then i look up in the desing of Ariadne, AND THOSE BLACK SPOTS AND THINK "OH MAN, THOSE THINGS ARE THE TIARA".

Idk, just want them to be a thing, i think they're neat.

Image a spiderman meme moment of Meg and Thanatos(doing reverse hades runs trying to break into the house), Asterius and Theseus(he got bored of being ignored and wanted to find his foe[read second only friend] Zagregus and dragged Asterius along so he wouldn’t die), and Melinoe, who is on a vengeful and important quest, all breaking into the House of Hades at the same time.

Hades is chained up and unnoticed in the background, just watching and begging someone to kill him cause why are these idiots here and who let them in his house.

Zag broke out 3 mins ago and is due back any moment now, being dragged back by grandpa who is done with this feral child who he doesn’t have an official excuse to eat but is getting damn close

I've seen almost 9 hours of gameplay of HADES and it would be kind of funny if You get a Dionysus Boon before the battle with Theseus and Asterius and Dionysus is kind of "yeah Zag go kick His ass" or being bitchy with Theseus in general bc yknow, Theseus is the one who abandoned Ariande(Dionysus Wife) on a DESERT ISLAND after she HELP HIM kill the Minotaur.

Dionysus is kind of grathefull of that(bc Wifey) and on the other part is like "You're on My black list bro:)"

Favorite character from Greek mythology + favorite myth from Greek mythology?

That is a really hard question😂 like what's your favorite music THERE ARE SO MANY!!!

I like to obsess over forgotten minor characters like a true nerd (like Epipole, the Greek Mulan, Thersander, Diomedes fellow Epigone) but except for that, I'm basic.

It's Odysseus ok 😂 he has a lot of whump and a happy ending! All I could ask for.

Also Perseus, the non Ovid version in which Medusa was always a monster.

My favorite myth is Pandora, the interpretation in which Hope is one of the evils, or the worst of them, because it forces you to endure all others for no rational reason. Sometimes you gotta cut your losses, not hope it'll get better.

Plus it's so rad that she got created like this super woman, with all the gods gifting her something, and her job was to open a box?? She didn't even need higher cognitive abilities for that, legend.

I can tell you my least favorite may be Herakles, or Theseus, who looked up to him. I cannot avoid interpreting the 'divine madness' as an excuse for a mean temper and being too cuddled by the gods to suffer proper consequences for his actions. He killed his family and in exchange he became The Hero™️. Rip Megara and kids I suppose, fridged for character development.

I'd love to let a Herakles stan change my mind though.

My least favorite myth(s) are the modern retellings twisting the original's meaning and agency to make a cheap fake feminism point or an over-edgy tragedy in which everybody sucks.

I know people think Miller but I mean more Jennifer Saint, super dry narration, no positive character, the pointlessly saddest endings in the canon wtf

I love the fact that Theseus was created by Athens specifically to be their mascot and little hero to point to for bragging rights and to upstage Heracles.

Like, in context with Hades Theseus, this could explain so much and add a good amount to his character. Why is he such an arrogant asshole that acts like he's gonna win even though he fails against Zagreus so much? Why does he have a jealous fit when Asterius spends too much time with Zagreus?

Well, when you dedicate your life being your kingdom's golden boy and one of your sole purposes is to be a mascot, and your paradise is winning in front of a crowd over and over and over, that's bound to give you some sort of complex.

Theseus gets pretty defensive over his repetitive victory afterlife too, and whenever Zagreus mentions Heracles that one time, Theseus is all "Oh you think you can provoke my insecurities by mentioning him!" Which, to me, kinda confirms he is insecure about Heracles.

I'm just rotating him in my brain
