Our first toy/collectable pick up for 2025!! there is not much going on around here after Christmas but I did manage to find this! the metallic gold Bumblebee!! which I think is suppose to maybe be "Goldbug"? anyway I seen him and there was only 1 on the pegs (I didn't look in the bins) so I picked him up

I finally finished all 3 Team Hot Wheels movies the other day! Many thoughts.
#thunderstomm#tomm talks#not main tagging this#I watched them all on archive.org for anyone who’s wondering !!#if you like team hot wheels and see this feel free to ask my thoughts on particular things#my favourite of the 3 was definitely origin of awesome#skills to thrill was fine but didn’t stand out#build the epic race felt kinda all over the place. wish they focused on the race itself rather than ‘road pirates’ but that’s just me#all the films did a good job at balancing screen time between the main characters though!#gage is probably my favourite- funny coincidence that the car he drives (twin mill) is my favourite HW casting (I own 5 currently)#okay to reblog#!!#(:

i rememorized how to solve a rubik's cube!
#unfortunately i accomplished this at 3am last night ;-;#i stayed up late for hw again and then needed a break#i love my stellar class sm bc the prof is such a down to earth and silly guy#who really prioritizes student lesrning over grades#and i love that so so so very much#and the content in class is cool!!!#the hw just takes me forever#and with everything else i have to do it piles up and i keeping staying up late to do it ;-;#and then after doing that + staring at a screen/coding for so many hours in a row i need a break before i go to bed#and then i stay up later#and by that time it's too late for melatonin#so i end up staying up later bc even though i'm exhausted i can't fall asleep bc i'm anxious#about the fact that it's late + how little sleep i'm going to get + whether or not i'll sleep through my alarms#+ the parts of the hw i still have left + the one million tasks i've put off and still need to do#tldr: i got like 4 hours of sleep and woke up 30 mins before class and rushed to campus (i didn't get to shower)#and i barely ate anything and i feel like shit#i'm about to eat lunch but i am shaky and unwell#i keep telling myself i can't keep living like this but i can't figure out how to not be in this situations ;-;#<- oh wow that's a lot of tags o.o#if you got to the end of them pls know i love + appreciate you sm for listening to me <3#i will be okay. just having a rough time rn#zip quips

i love sm that shtola’s recklessness comes from a place of being super confident in her abilities and decisions and that she doesn’t think she’s going to die bc she can cast flow instead of like a self loathing “i don’t care if i live” kind of thing that feels more prevalent to me

i dont think it takes most people like three days to do 23 math problems. That's 9 for one assignment and 14 for the other btw. I stared blankly into space for like 20 seconds trying to add those together.

Look what I found!! Yes the Official Hot Wheels Bumblebee!! I was looking for the new Transformers Hot Wheels stuff and found these. After looking at the figures and everything else we always look at the cars last and I found one right out on the front of the pegs which was awesome, I was super excited and grabbed him quick! Now as you can see I got 2 because I wanted one for my Movie/TV car spot and one for my Transformers area. So I looked through the pegs and there was no more I was like "Oh Noes!!😧" so I went out to the big bins in the main isle and dug through them a bit and found another so I was super happy. Now all I need to do is get a couple Optimus Primes and I'll be all set!

spent my evening doing normal girl things (making a meticulous list of every leitmotif in hamilton and which songs they appear in)
#AND IM HAVING SO MUCH FUN. thats the concerning part#naming leitmotifs is fun. cause for most of them its just a specific lyric but for some i get to make up names and i like that a lot#like ''countdown to 10'' or ''what year is it?'' <- my names. ik ppl have assigned names to some of these before but i wanted to come up#with my own. also i just had the idea to compile a video of the entire soundtrack where the leitmotifs pop up in text on screen#every time they play. which is insane and has no purpose other than making me happy bcuz i wouldnt be able to upload it anywhere#but i genuinely might#this is what happens when all my classes for the day are cancelled and ive got barely any hw. this is what happens#serena.txt

one of my biggest new year's resolutions is to reduce my screen time, and i know to some people the amount i'm on phone is still a lot, but to me i've reduced the time on it a kind of crazy amount and i'm kind of proud??? my average screen time on my phone for the last three weeks is 2h 39min which is just so 🤯🤯🤯 to me i'm quite happy
#i'm not counting laptop/tv screen time yet but i will eventually#well i might not count laptop during the school year . sometimes a girl needs to be on that alpha grind for 4 hrs straight for all the hw#but yeah :)#oliver's ramblings
