MHA I will just admit straight up Izuku is my favorite character, so they're all gonna be focused on him! Also man this was a trip down memory lane, haha! -> -> -> incredible comedy horror about an exorcist Izuku + psychological drama about izuku's inability to die + fav au of quirkless izuku in HSC + all of izuku's bitter feelings manifest when a quirk changes his personality + epic ongoing story of izuku being half demon, WC: 500k + izuku can see spirits, is incapable of helping people, and suffers + comedy about izuku making friends with villains instead of going to UA + izuku time travels and concerns literally everyone around him (comedy) + HC's plan to study Izuku fails because this mf is haunted + izuku is blind + katsuki is haunted by a dead(?) izuku + literally one of the best DFO fics to me (comedy) + OFA users memories get muddled with Izuku's + quirkless journalist izuku discovers the truth

Ngl, I kinda really want to make a Tristamp x MHA crossover. For several reasons really! For example!

there are tragically few Trigun crossovers in general (probably because trigun’s worldbuilding is so deeply entwined with its characters and story, which is awesome, it just complicates things a bit lol)

I really want to throw the dilemma of a post-July vash at mha’s cast lol. What exactly would they do with a “villain” that could decimate an entire city but would really rather run away, when they really have no idea about the shit that went down beforehand

Vash’s similarities to Izuku specifically (cough “my body moves on its own” cough) and the layers it adds to the above point, plus the reckoning of Izuku’s empathy vs the, frankly, terrifying threat that vash poses

both series have a set of twins at least a century old, one of whom is a controlling, manipulative, “loving”, mass murderer, and another who steadfastly holds their own convictions despite their brother, sees and fiercely defends the good in humanity, and has been running from their sibling for decades

Supplementing the above, I think it would be interesting if yoichi had interacted with vash in his lifetime and they both looked at each other and immediately recognized the self through the other

I can worldbuild the shit out of this intersection, it would make for such cool plot points, trust me on this (specifically about quirks and plants, or the HSC and the Eye of Michael 😉)

THIS JUST IN OVERNIGHT: MBNi's Q Radio Philippines to be permanently transitioned in selected stations thru Brigada News FM

MAKATI, MANILA -- Top 40's very own Q Radio, a music radio station in the Philippines is set to shut down nationwide and air its final broadcast last Friday night at 12mn onwards (June 30th, 2023 -- Manila local time) via a flagship Manila station as DWBM-FM 105.1mhz. Following its closure, the FM radio station will undergo a transition and rebranding to selected radio stations of Brigada News FM, which will officially launch on Saturday early morning (July 1st, 2023) - under a new lease agreement with Mabuhay Records Broadcasting Network Inc. (MBNi).

Formerly known as Crossover, Q Radio Philippines (QRP) was a nationwide radio brand under MBNi, which is now expired to operate via an airtime lease agreement with Horizon of the Sun Communications (HSC). This has led to the closure of QRP and the cessation of its nationwide broadcast.

Here in Central Visayas, 2 FM stations are affected by this change, specifically impacting the areas of Bacolod (DYBM-FM 99.1mhz) and Cebu (DYAC-FM 90.7mhz). One of these stations will be permanently taken off-the-air, to be ceasing all of its operations indefinitely. The toughest decision comes as some radio frequencies are subject to change or discontinued based on management decisions within the radio broadcast industry.

At that moment before, there will be facing financial difficulties, including poor ratings like Kantar Media - Central Visayas Chapter and a lack of advertisers' support have contributed to the decision to permanently shut down QRP. The station will cease its operations the said schedule date.

Just recently from last Monday (June 26th, 2023), a contract signing between MBNi and Brigada Mass Media Corporation (BMMC) in Makati City has resulted in the rebranding and legally secured to transition thru Brigada News FM. During a morning radio news programme of "Brigada Balita Nationwide sa Umaga @ 7am", hosted by Glenn Parungao and Gab Dalisay, it was announced that DWEY-FM 104.7mhz will undergo a frequency dial and call sign change to DWBM-FM 105.1mhz. It is unclear if 104.7mhz BNFM: Batangas goes independent or to simulcast from the National Capital Region of Makati City. The station will be legally rebranded as 105.1 Brigada News FM: Manila immediately after QRP's final nationwide radio broadcast.

MBNi is the now former parent company of Q Radio Philippines. It was the primary operator of the Crossover radio brand before its rebranding to Q Radio. The network operated under an airtime lease agreement with HSC. However, following the contract signing between MBNi and BMMC, the management and operations of QRP were gradually transferred to BMMC. This transition marked the end of MBNi's role in the said industry of radio broadcasting.

Despite the closure of QRP, Brigada News FM is set for expansion, offering a broader range of news, information, entertainment, and music. The rebranding will allow BNFM to have a wider reach, specifically in Metro and Mega Manila starting July 1st, 2023. Listeners across the Philippines, including those in Central Visayas, per the likes of Cebu and Bacolod can look forward to tuning into Brigada News FM for their preferred programming for themselves.

This post is for those who care, & who are still open to see me finish any of my ideas & posts 😓, but don't worry there isn't a lot this time since I've practically scrapped tons of them anyway...

...BUT as I said I'm going to take a long break and it is happening this time around, for real this time, by the end of week I'll probably be too occupied to even be active on this blog anymore & in this fandom in particular. I wasn't that active since like one month before S4 aired anyway so it won't change much but this time I'm really leaving. There's other factors but it's not the post to get into it right now.

So program, today (I hope... 😅) I have a surprise for this ST Day, I worked on something for a while now & it's a bit of a crossover that I wanted to do and I hope most of y'all will enjoy it for what it is. A little tease, of course it's about ST, but maybe people will get what it is; or those who know, don't say what it is obviously... anyway here it is:

Next, a post about the state of this fandom because I've already made two posts about specific things that I feel like didn't get through people anyway but I've seen other things that annoy me even more and I'm just going to talk about it in all of it because I feel like this corner needs it especially now with all that's been happening because I'm not liking the way things are turning around here especially for people who have been around longer than me and are sticking around. But anyway, you'll see it obviously when it comes out. And this time I hope it gets through because I am not going to do a 4th post.

And finally, my BIG ST5 prediction post so that I can get it out of the way with any new info we may get by the end of the year. Well mostly ST Day.

And after that I'm going to be off, I'll still be here but not the way you would usually see me; it's going to be different but I'll also make a post to clarify that.

Anyway just a short explanation because I know some people enjoy what I post, outside of me fighting with HSC all the time, so yeah I hope I'll get it out all in time this time around.

After The Mission

An AU/Ask Blog based around another AU I have been working on. An Among Us, and Henry Stickmin crossover. It focuses on the Toppats, and a few government members.

Several years after the events of Completing The Mission, (Toppat Recruits Ending) Times begin to get dire as an unknown Hive species invaded the planet. (Impostors). Human populations started to plummet at an alarming rate, and there just seemed to be no way to stop them. No matter what people did, there was just too many. A royal impostor, known as Reginald Copperbottom has done his best to try keeping them at bay, but has been unsuccessful. He was hoping the airship might be safe, but alas, he was mistaken. It kept getting infiltrated frequently, which ultimately led to him having to make the decision to get his clan off the planet, as many of the remaining humans have done, and are doing. There was little time before the final ships would leave, which would strand the toppats if they didn't hurry. Luckily with the airship, it didn't take long. However, Reginald isn't the only impostor among the toppat ranks. Ellie Rose is the other. However they made an agreement not to hurt the toppats unless absolutely necessary. With such a large clan size, the Toppats were distributed amongst multiple ships, both impostors being put in with the same crew, and a couple government workers too.

Since the start of 2020, the Philippine Broadcasting Service' FM Radio division went on reprogramming strategies both on 87.5 FM1 and 104.3 FM2 to maintain competition among new players in the FM landscape as its deputy director-general Carlo Jose Villo resigned his post. Recently-reformatted stations Neo Retro 105.9 and Q105 are now being targeted by 2 Government-owned and operated radio stations in Mega Manila in terms of audience shares and format. These two stations are currently on automation until further notice. In Davao City, FM1 87.5 DXFO shutted down operations since January 1st in order to adjust the configurations including the transmission and at the same time, the move of its studios to the soon-to-be-completed Mindanao Media Hub. Meanwhile, 104.3 FM2 shortens Sunday broadcast operations from 19 hours to 16 hours (from 5am to 9pm), while the Monday to Saturday broadcast hours are intact.

In other developments, Neo Retro 105.9 officially launched on New Year's Day with its programming from Sunday to Thursday 5am-12mn and Friday to Saturday 5am-1am the next day.

13 Days later, Q Radio 105.1 officially launched with some of its DJ's from FM1 who are now jocks of the station. Q Radio operates 20 hours daily from 4am to 12mn and plays CHR-Top40 format. Q105 is operated under Horizon of the Sun Communications, Inc. headed by the Mother-Daughter tandem of Lolita Ching (President & CEO) and Louella Ching (Vice-President), who are also the brains behind the longest-running bi-lingual program Chinatown TV and its daily bi-lingual news program CNTV (Chinese News TV) both of which airs on IBC 13. HSC is under an airtime lease agreement with Mareco Broadcasting Network in which it will expand broadcast to Q99 Bacolod, Q90 Cebu, and Q93 Davao very soon while the Baguio City relay has already flipped since it is heard from 105.1 Manila in the same frequency. The old Crossover format that has been existing for 25 years has migrated to its online broadcast through Crossover Online app on IOS and Android.

DZBR Bible Radio has shutted down its transmission site in Tanauan, Batangas due to the effect of the Taal Volcano eruption. Although the radio feed remains off the air until further notice, Bible Radio continues its broadcast on the web and via mobile app while the transmitter is undergoing upgrades from its current 10KW transmission, it will soon boost its transmission to 25KW and soon, 50KW.

Finally, 120-Year old Manila Bulletin has unveiled its refreshed logo last October 2019, a first in almost a century. The keystone element in the middle part of the logo which was first seen in the 1920's has updated in a lean & simple design, thus 'The Exponent of Philippine Progress' appearing at the upper part of the masthead is now appearing below the logo, simplifying as 'The Exponent of Philippine Progress Since 1900'. From September 2019 to January 2020 and on the eve of the anniversary, the multimedia organization ran a series of important headlines back in the day as part of the 120-day countdown to the 120th Anniversary last Sunday, Feb. 2nd. Reconstruction (Starship, TUp)

This fic got a lot more love than I ever imagined. I wrote it in 2011-early 2012 during the height of Starship’s popularity as a Starkid musical. While there were a lot of TUp backstories I decided to go a little different and go forwards, exploring Taz and Up’s relationship after the events in the musical and I got carried away and had so much fun with it...when I’m in love with an OTP, I go all out and I definitely did with this fic. For a while I got a following from it and people recced it to Karri (LTD author) which astounded me because I didn’t think it was that great,  but I had a lot of fun writing it so I’m glad people had so much fun reading it. I also made a lot of Starkid friends. It was a fun time for me, sharing my OTP with a load of people who also shipped it (I guess that was because it was my first real foray into a larger fandom). Looking back, there are a few things I’d change if I gave it a major edit, including some of my less-than-adequate Spanish translations (I since took a class in Spanish so my TUp fics after that were a lot more accurately translated)and a couple of continuity errors but I’m still proud of it. It was the first really long, serious multichap I finished, standing at 26 chapters, which taught me a lot about persevering with a fic.

At the End of the Day (Bread, Joetina)

It has some things I’d change, but I look back on this as one of my best works. I’d been reading some fics and original works in new styles, and I was inspired to try out a new writing style, straying from the typical third person, past tense and linear narrative I usually stuck with. And I was very happy with the result. I had a lot of fun world-building for not just my favourite couple, but the wider world of Bread, fleshing out the characters and their lives beyond the show, and the more I wrote, the more I was filled with ideas to the point that I wrote several spin-offs in the same universe to continue building on the other characters. I loved writing a fix-it that undid the annoyance of Joey/Roxy’s marriage at the end of the show and put Joetina together, and it was a challenge doing so in a way that was realistic and in-character, but a lot of fun. I started writing it before I’d even finished Money Angel, which I was working on at the time, and completed several whole chapters really quickly. Something I liked about writing it a bit later, setting it in the 90s and early 2000s rather than the 80s of the show, was that, having grown up in the 90s/2000s I could put in references to products etc. much more easily. This fic also had some personal significance for me, as a few issues I explored, particularly with Joey, mirrored some of my own worries.

A Very Umbridge Sequel (A Very Potter Musical/Sequel, Umbridge/Firenze but not pairing-centric) I was coming up to my trial HSC (mock A-levels/ finals? Idk what they call it outside Aus, but the Year 12 final exams to go to uni basically) and in my free time, wanted to write something light-hearted and fun. And I really, REALLY loved Starkid/AVPM, Joe Walker’s portrayal of Umbridge in particular. So I wrote a fic. All about that interpretation of Umbridge. Having centaur babies. Who were mini Umbridges.  I posted little games at the start of each chapter and gave out imaginary prizes (name mentions really) for reviewers who won. It got a following. I disturbed a few people. I had the most fun writing this fic of any fic I have ever written, or any story I will ever write,  because it was so stupid and hilarious. I think I was grinning/laughing to myself the whole way throughout writing it.

Partners in Crime (St Trinian’s, Kelly/Flash)

Though I never finished it (and probably won’t due to being busy), I enjoyed writing scenes from lots of different characters’ points of view, getting into their heads and their way of thinking/speaking as they all gave their perspective on the same narrative. It was a really ambitious fic, exploring dark themes, a weird mafia (who in a coincidental bit of foreshadowing for my eventual Bread love were called the Black Jaguar) and an elaborate plot involving a mysterious USB, on top of the Kel/Flash budding romance. But I thoroughly enjoyed writing it. I think I would have finished it, had my St Trinian’s obsession not slid very quickly into my Starkid obsession with little room for segue (this obsession then made way for my 4-year love of Bread. I changed fandoms very quickly that year, then ended up with a long-term one).  No regrets, though. This was a different pairing for me, after 3 years of Gladys/Jeffrey, and writing for a fresh OTP with a very different dynamic was utterly enjoyable. Some great memories of early 2011 for me were sitting up til midnight typing up chapters of this fic (I handwrote nearly everything first) and hitting post.

Escape from the Fist of Iron (Starship, TUp)

Another fic I’ll likely never finish, but I regret lacking the time/motivation to do so at the time.
