近況について

お久しぶりです！ぼぶです！最近は心穏やかに過ごしていることが多いです！後は自己肯定感爆上がりの最中です。何でも出来そうな、、そんな気がします！半年前のhp0のときようなことはなく！hp95まで回復しました❤️‍🩹多分、今の職場の環境がかなり良いのだと感じます。一人暮らしも慣れてきて、台所が狭いなとか変な匂いがするなとか...笑　そんな些細なことが全部気になってブルーな気持ちになっていたけど今は現実を受け入れてそれも気にならないところまで回復してきました！料理も好きで、素朴な野菜の味を生かした料理を作って楽しんでいます。そうそう、一人で食事と向き合う時間が大好きで！味がよく分かります！

私はなんでもない毎日が楽しめるタイプのようです！そろそろ30目前の歳で色んなことを意識させられるようになってきているけど、今の刺激的ではない素朴な日常をもうちょっと楽しみたいなぁって思います☺️

Incineroar: HE’S GRRRRREAT!

What’s going on world?!?  Today I’m gonna be giving you guys an analysis and some sets on Alola’s favorite tiger with a ‘tude, TONY THE- ....INCINEROAR!  (note: I did not create this image nor do I claim ownership to it, but I thought it was awesome and the world needs to see it).

Incineroar is the the final form of the Fire starter of Sun and Moon and my personal favorite of the three, both in practice and design.  I love the fact that it’s based off a heel (wrestler bad guy) and just how expressive it is in game (have this thing use ember and you’ll see why).  As for its typing, Incineroar is a Fire/Dark type (not a Fighting type WOO), very interesting with a surprising amount of resistances, those being Fire, Steel, Dark, Ghost, Ice, Grass, and an immunity to Psychic, with weaknesses to Fighting, Rock, Ground, and Water.  The STAB combo I must say is very nice as hits quite a few for at least neutral, and Incineroar gets quite a few options for things that resist those. (fun fact: COMPLETELY unrelated to anything competitive, but this was the first gen that I did not pick a Water starter for the main game in the gen, not that I dislike Primarina, but I wanted to change things up a little, I DID get Moon after all lol).  Anyways, let’s take a crack at those stats shall we?

Hp95/Att115/Def90/Spatt80/Spdef90/Spe60 

Overall, Incineroar has some very well-distributed stats (almost like a Fire version of Swampert).  Boasting Impressive 95/90/90 defenses, Evil Tony here can take hits from either side quite nicely.  Offensively it’s also quite good, boasting a high 115att and a respectable 80spatt, and being a Fire type it’s immune to burn so that attack won’t be dropping too easily.  Its only not so hot stat is its base 60 speed, which for this gen’s standards is actually not too bad, although there are plenty of things that will go before it does.  So now that we have that stats, let’s check out what abilities this heel as to offer!

Blaze: Boosts the power of Fire type moves by 50% when hp is at 1/3 or less.

Intimidate (Hidden, Unreleased at this time (UAT)): Lowers the opponent’s attack by 1.5 every time this pokemon is sent in.

Being the Fire starter, Incineroar naturally gets the Blaze ability, a decent one and really the only option at this time (I’ll update when Intimidate gets released).  However, for the following sets we’ll be using Intimidate as it compliments Incineroar’s already good bulk quite well, but just know that Blaze if fine for the time being.  So now that he’s prepped and ready to go, let’s let Tony show off some special moves!

TONY THE TIGER

Adamant/Jolly Nature: 252att/252spe/4hp

Intimidate: Choice Band/Choice Scarf/Life Orb/Assault Vest/Incinium Z

-Darkest Lariat

-Flare Blitz

-Leech Life

-Cross Chop/Earthquake/Roar/Taunt

A pretty standard set, but with a a lot of options.  EVS are obvious, and since Incineroar is already quite bulky you can invest in speed not be too worse for wear.  Intimidate is the go-to ability (when released) to make Incineroar even more bulky, and is complemented very well with Assault vest.  Darkest Lariat is the STAB of choice, as it ignores any defense or evasion boosts your opponent might have (and turns into the awesome and powerful Malicious Moonsault with the Z crystal, try it at least once if you haven’t it’s hilarious!).  Flare Blitz is the next move and hits very hard with either Band or Orb, but just be aware of the recoil.  Leech Life is there to get a good amount of hp back and do nice damage.  The last move is all dependent on what you need and what item you’re using: the attack moves offer nice coverage, whereas the support moves are great against walls and set-up sweepers.

With its defenses and Intimidate, Incineroar pulls off bulk up very well.  With the given EVs, its hp reaches a high 202 at lvl 50 and has a spdef at 156, meaning that, in conjunction with Intimidate, taking it down will take some effort, especially after some bulk ups.  Leftovers is the item of choice, although if you’re afraid of status Lum Berry can be used.  Aside from Bulk Up, you’ll want Darkest Lariat for a strong STAB and Leech Life to further boost recovery.  The last move is up to you: Flare Blitz hits very hard, but recoil may not be the best choice as this set wants to last a while.  Taunt and Roar are great for stopping set up, but Toxic and Will-o-Wisp help to wear things down (Will-o-Wisp can make you stupidly bulky on the physical side).

Just a side note before we get into countering Incineroar, but it also has access to Nasty Plot and a special movepool similar to its physical movepool type-wise, so a special set is more than possible (although it’s arguably outclassed by a fair amount of things).  Incineroar’s greatest weakness is its slow speed and lack of priority (it DOES get Fake Out but that’s it): hit it hard before it can move and you’re golden.  Fairy and Water types also give it a hard time, as they resist many of its moves and can dent it pretty well.  Despite being bulky, wearing it down is also a good idea as even with its decent recovery it can only last so long.  However, don’t underestimate Incineroar despite these flaws as it appropriately has many sneaky tricks up its sleaves and can easily overwhelm several pokemon if not dealt with quickly.  So gang that wraps up yet another review, as always if there’s a pokemon you want me to praise/shame say the word!  I’m The Alolan Mudkip, and from Evil Tony and myself, a good day and I’ll catch y’all next time!
