12. what are your character’s major flaws?

she is incredibly optimistic, sometimes so much so that it teeters on denial. actually, it often does but she can't help it. it's second nature for ingrid to see the brighter side of any and every thing. glass half full, always always always. i also think she is prone to taking things much too personally, especially if it pertains to constructive criticism on her songwriting/singing. cue cat valentine's "what's that supposed to mean?!"

13. what does your character pretend or try to care about?

she really could not care less about religion, especially after being so inundated with it growing up, but she would actually die for her abuela so pretending to care about it is an easy feat. now that she's older, she only goes to church services for the major holidays but it's no thorn in her side; she doesn't mind the excuse to wear a pretty floral dress.

12. what are your character’s major flaws?

his arrogance and his tactlessness. he's gotten better with the latter throughout the years (shoutout frontal cortex) but that's mainly because the nature of his job calls for it. the former though, is something that'll probably stick with him for life. confidence is just second nature to howie, even when it's to a fault (especially then).

13. what does your character pretend or try to care about?

there's not much you could force howard wamsley into pretending to care about. like at all. if he does try to care about anything, i'd say it's politics and/or the children of his acquaintances, should his acquaintances divulge any long-winded stories about them. just feels like the right thing to do. the former comes in handy too.

okay I have one headcanon I stand by: i like to think chim reached out to tommy after the episode with red in S3 and that they've been going out for beers every once in a while since. so that in 6x18 when lucy tells chim she heard of the engagement that it was actually from tommy 🥰

honestly I like reading y'all's headcanon more and playing off of them 😅 I seem to never be able to think of any on the spot and I like to just go down all hundreds of roads of possibilities 🥰🥰

1. He collects ceramic cogs that sometimes he paints and keeps around pup's room! He also has a lot of cog plushies and cog toys for when he gets a cog someday (he says, but really he just gets kin euphoria from playing with the jingly balls and squeaky toys)

2. He is 6'8"!

3. We will! He has two foster parents who have names and designs. I can't give any details about his actual biological parents yet though (they do exist and have names/designs but I can't tell you anything about them)

Good lord you’ve turned the tables.

As a devout techie whose acting experience doesn’t go beyond reading for people in rehearsal and memorizing monologues for freshman year drama class- I really had to stew on this. Like REALLY stew.

I also took a page out of your book and went through each musical character by character, but I won’t bore you with that whole hectic process. Plus also- I’m not going to include TCB because, as you so aptly said when you answered this, Agent Curt Mega would SWEEP. Not even a competition like- dream role right there.

Uhm but yeah, as far as Starkid roles go- the conclusion I’ve come to is that I would want to play President Howard Goodman from Black Friday.

Ok hear me out right- it’s a small enough role so that it wouldn’t be too overwhelming, I love a good jab at the incompetence of American officeholders, and he’s just a silly pathetic little guy who would be fun to play. I’d have a blast yelling about an eldritch stuffed doll and running around in a goofy little space suit while getting sung at about the inherent capitalist nature of Americans. And bonus if we’re talking roles as well, I wouldn’t be opposed to being shopper #4.

In case you’re curious, other runner-ups were Richie, Ethan Green, and Duke (but I could never live up to Curt’s portrayal of Duke are you kidding?).

Idea for the Old Ones AU: Howie is, despite what others in-universe may think, not an eldritch being. He's perfectly normal. So normal, in fact, that he can force reality around him to stay normal, damn what any cosmic horror might think.

Pretty much all of the eldritch beings in the setting who know of him are absolutely terrified, due to his existing near them rendering them killable no matter how powerful they are. He's aware of the Court & some of the wider supernatural, but as long as they don't actively start a mess near him he's willing to be civil.

Bro's the Toji Fushiguro (Jujutsu Kaisen) of the Old Ones AU: A terrifying physical threat who doesn't interact normally with the supernatural beings of the setting, if at all.

I-
