i don't think you guys understand just how much this recording of against pollution means to me

inspired by an ask from earlier :)

alhaitham heard it the moment it started.

in just the short moment to rise from his seat and walk over to pick up another glass from lambad did he hear kaveh giggling. and not just any giggle you hear from a joke or an amusing anecdote, that's the type you'd hear when tickling fingers target kaveh's sides. and sure enough as haitham makes it back to their booth, he can see the cause of such gorgeous laughter as the traveler and paimon tag team to poke kaveh's sides. being a little tipsy, kaveh didn't do much to fight back against the two and nor did he attempt to hold back his smile and laughter. alhaitham loves the sight.

however, things like these are reserved only for alhaitham to see, as he would say.

kaveh yelps as alhaitham hoists him over his shoulder at the moment their front door closes behind them. alhaitham shows little emotion on his face but is very amused at kaveh's wiggling and half hearted protests that included smacking his butt. the squirming architect and focused scribe make it to their bedroom, the former gently tossing his partner onto the sheets (though kaveh would say it was more brutish than anything).

"ack! what's the big idea alhaitham? i didn't even do anything, and i hardly drank much tonight!" kaveh lamented as he glared up at the smug scribe, who climbed onto the bed and straddled his hips. alhaitham tucked a stray hair behind kaveh's ear and let his fingers walk down his jaw, their destination at his mouth to caress kaveh's soft bottom lip.

"i find myself becoming greedier these days...especially with you," alhaitham murmers as he thumbs at kaveh's lips, tracing over where kaveh applied the lip gloss that alhaitham likes.

kaveh rolls his eyes, "i could've told you that you're clingy." he chuckles when alhaitham squeezes his cheeks to make his lips pursed. kaveh's breath hitches when alhaitham cups his cheek and leans in close to his ear.

"won't you let me be selfish with you?" alhaitham whispers, smiling when he can feel kaveh's cheek heat up. kaveh nods impatiently, wrapping his arms around alhaitham's back and pulls him in to capture his lips in a kiss. the kiss is cut short when alhaitham slides down to press kisses on kaveh's neck. the architect shivers, but doesn't mind the attention there. it isn't until the hands straddling kaveh's torso move to caress his rib cage does he start to squirm.

"tickles..." kaveh whines, only wrapping his arms around alhaitham's neck in response. however, two curious fingers wiggle under kaveh's arms at that, which kaveh squeaks and yanks his arms back, trapping the tickling fingers underneath. "haitham! w-wait, nohohoho!" kaveh bursts into giggles as even the neck kisses turn lighter to tickle more.

"wait for what? are you going to call your new best friends for help?" alhaitham teases as he sits up to sit on kaveh's hips, taking his hands from under kaveh's arms to mimic the traveler's pokes to his sides from earlier. he watches kaveh carefully, as if to burn the memory of a pink-faced kaveh thrashing around as he squeaks under this ticklish surprise.

"what are you talking about? the traveler- ACK- plehehehehease! alhaitham nahahahaha!" kaveh throws his head back as alhaitham suddenly squeezes his upper ribs and continues to do so to the rest of his ribs.

"i don't think it's all too much of an outrage to only reserve the right to see this sight for myself, is it?" alhaitham asks, almost with indifference to kaveh continues to shriek under his touch.

"for instance, i have confidence in knowing i'm the only one who knows if i wiggle my fingers here," alhaitham cups kaveh's cheeks and does just that, tickling his cheeks and ears, "you'll cover my hands with your own and try, and fail, to hide your face." as if it was a prediction of the future, kaveh does exactly that, trying to hide his pink cheeks and growing-in-pitch giggles.

"and if i hold your elbow up and trace my nails under your arm," alhaitham smirks as a sharp yell fills the room, "you'll screech as if i tore your favorite shirt, and of course, fall into cackling." right on cue, kaveh cackles and kicks out his legs.

alhaitham leans down close to kaveh's ribs, making sure to hold onto his elbows to avoid being nailed in the face, "even just the presence of my face close to your ribs will always get you squirming and trying to hold back your laughter by tightening your lips into this awkward, failing line." the muffled squeaks from kaveh are more than enough evidence for alhaitham's words.

"the slightest touch here..." alhaitham gestures to kaveh's belly, which he finds hilarious that kaveh already tries to wriggle away from his fingers with a screech. "...will, without a doubt, make you squeal." alhaitham emphasizes his words with a quick poke to kaveh's belly button, achieving the squeal he wished for.

"but what our traveling friends do not know is that tickling your sides like this will bear a much more fruitful reaction." alhaitham swiftly moves his legs to stop his straddle to flip kaveh over onto his front, settling back down on his upper thighs. with that few short seconds kaveh takes in a few breaths, but when he feels alhaitham position his thumbs on his lower back and the other four fingers on his sides does kaveh begin giggling and pleading in anticipation. he does not get so much more than four "pleases" when alhaitham kneads his fingers onto his lower back and sides, and kaveh falls into screams.

what kaveh can't see through his position and squealing state is alhaitham's softening gaze. alhaitham couldn't bear to have his headphones on whenever kaveh laughed, it was too much of a beautiful sound to be shut out. and although others may have the opportunity to hear such a wondrous sound, alhaitham couldn't blame them for wanting to hear more.

but this, this is for alhaitham's eyes and ears only.
