HIJK is not my personal favorite part of the alphabet song but i appreciate the artistry. it is the sort of labored uphill climb that lends itself to the free downhill spillage of LMNOP. each letter is like an effortful punctuation of an iron pick into the mountain side as you hoist your way up. you can almost hear the shrill of each strike chafing

i spend a lot of time thinking about the order of the alphabet and here are my proposed changes:

bump up G so it comes before F and after E

V is far too low. V should come before T

Q should not come between P and R, it should be placed with U

HIJK -> IKHJ

ABCD are the overachievers who take shit way too serious.

LMNOP is that friendgroup that is always together and they've all dated each other.

WXYZ are goth girls.

QRS are hipsters who smoke a lot of weed. they're vegan but only because S is; Q and R are just trying to be supportive but sometimes they'll get together without S and buy snacks and "forget" to check the label.

EFG are sooo jealous of ABCD they wanna be them so bad it's really embarrassing.

eventually D becomes part of EFG because ABC lowkey kicked them out after B and D broke up.

HIJK are like, wallflowers, but for good reason bc they're annoying.

TUV are the girls who go to phys ed wearing pajamas.

There’s a new version where they space out lmnop and throw off the rhythm. U can find it by searching new alphabet song. Instead of ABCD, EFG, HIJK, LMNOP, QRS, TUV, WX, Y and Z it goes ABCD, EFG, HIJK, LMN, OPQRSTU, V, W, XYZ

the sheer magnitude of WRONGNESS that i felt listening to it has triggered every fight or flight instinct. every fiber of my inconsequential flesh suit is alight with the urge to find the nearest metal folding chair and commit crimes. the maelstrom of rage i feel within me at the pauses which throw off the rhythm would put centuries of horrors to shame. ( i rate this version 3/10 for its ability to ruin a perfectly simple tune, however, it is still a learning device. )

i never plan to have children but if i did they are NOT being taught this weirdcore facsimile of the paragon of learning.
