Catastrophic, huh. Feels like an understatement.

Blitz is shocked that Fizz picked up at all - that he doesn't have this number blocked. Maybe he'd just take Blitz's name off of it ; maybe he got a new phone in the interim. What doesn't surprise him is the effect of hearing Fizz's voice this close, not mediated by a stupid fuckin' ad on TV or an animatronic voice box. Something soft and vulnerable aches behind his ribs - if he hadn't already emptied out his stomach in the hospital bathroom, he'd probably be hurling again.

Ghost was halfway through a second glass of wine.

They weren't quite tipsy- it was enough to give a nice warm and fuzzy feeling and lower their inhibitions, but they would not be getting drunk here. They didn't want to make an ass of themself in front of Miss Rosie.

They were also sure Miss Rosie would be making them into dinner should they forget their place.

However, they had the most brilliant idea to thank her for the invitation- and that was information. Gossip, one might say. Just as long as it wasn't traced back to them, they'd love to embarrass their master a little bit.

Not long ago, Ghost had managed to accidentally hand over their Soul to Vox. They had assumed he'd kill them when they took his head, and instead something much worse happened. It was shameful, embarrassing- who else could misunderstand something that badly?

They perked when they finally saw their hostess, taking a sip of wine to soothe their nerves in speaking to the Cannibal Overlord, before approaching her.

"Miss Rosie, hello again! I hope I'm not interrupting anything, but I hear you quite like a bit of gossip." They smiled, flashing a bit of teeth, tilting their head at her.

Aka, basic Adam later wakes up in hell verse and finds he's not only fallen, but also the cannibals have recently been eating away at him.

'Bout his form:

Will have his helmet back, but it's pieced back together with what looks like angel blood, so all the cracks are glowing. The mask itself is defective and glitches out in the eyes depending on the kind of frequencies he encounters or creates via his guitar ax.

The cannibals ate one of his wings, so he doesn't quite fly anymore- but he can still step off ledges and sort of hover a moment/glide down. The feathers are not as shiny/dulled down and look more like brass over gold.

Basically wears open shirts and jackets to accommodate his ribs which are exposed since the cannibals mostly ate that area of him. The middle of the rib cage/ sternum is gone, and his ribs are pried open farther and wider than usual. The two diamonds that were floating in his halo are now floating, suspended inside the empty torso with the bottom one stained in angel blood. He might have an ability with his ribs where they work like a pair of jaws and can spread apart as well as clamp down like a bear trap. One rib is notably broken off...

His other abilities seem to be centered around music/noise, and he can create 'riffs' of concentrated bass energy that can knock most things out of the sky and make them very uncomfortable in the process.

therefore in this au he's around 30y.o

meets up with omi takatori mamoru and is introduced to the section of kritiker that is affiliated with jujutsu tech

grade 1

ability: -using cursed energy to further help manipulate his wire -wire-like binding emerging from solid surfaces to wrap around target and restrain them in place

has always been able to use his cursed technique but never had an interest in learning more about jujutsu sorcery, which is why he didn't enroll into jujutsu tech (even in an au i can't bring myself to make him not meet his friends)

but obv things changed after shibuya incident + culling game, so he'd transfer to tokyo jujutsu high in 2nd year and is assigned grade 3 to start with

(tentative backstory) distantly related to the zenin clan from his mother's side, his father cannot see curses but his cursed energy is right below the threshold so he can still somewhat sense them

he would be instant besties with nobara imo. their personalities are kinda similar and they'd be on the same wavelength on a lot of stuff

ability: -construction, mostly used to create a metal bat or frying pan, but he can create any solid object that he's familiar with

the edo clan has a long history in exorcising curses, despite that, they don't have inherited innate technique

instead they teach their descendants and others to fight curses using hunting methods, hence genbatsu's skill in archery & marksmanship

ability: -cursed energy manipulation used in conjunction with physical weapons -basic reversed curse technique, only works for minor injuries
