Hammer related plushie showcase because why not?

As someone with a great attachment to comfort objects and also hyper empathy, I have collected a lot of stuffies over the years. And, of course, a lot of them are named after blorbos! So I thought I’d showcase them all for funzies. 😊

So first off, pretty sure that this was the start of the ‘plushies with Hammer related names’ saga: Christopher and Peter! Chris being a bat is obvious and idk, the little teddy bear gave me Cushy vibes. I love his little smile and his dapper bow tie and it reminded me of him. 😊

(Fun fact, Chris featured in my Van Helsing cosplay! I had him clipped to my shoulder bag)

Next up we have more bats, these are (from left to right) Lorrimer, Lawrence, and Henry. I got Lawrence first and because in Swap!AU his bat form is a Pipistrelle bat (which is brown and fluffy) I decided to name it after the boyo! Lorri came later and it fit perfectly because smaller brown bat. I take the two with me to uni often and Lorri can perfectly nestle into Lawrence’s wings 🥹 Henry was named Henry because he’s got a bit of a confused look and I thought it fit XD

I also own a Noivern and a Noibat (both from conventions), Noibat is Fordyce because his eyes radiate anxiety and Noivern is Spieldorf because I thought Fordyce could use a protective buddy to shield him from nerves!

The grey shorkie is Blyss, I actually specifically ordered him because I wanted a shark plushie to name after him (it really makes me happy to hug the blorbo-named plushies and Blyss huggies were very important) and then the Blåhaj is Miguel, I got him a few weeks ago and I thought it fit perfectly. They are so cute together with Blyss fitting on his bf’s forehead 🥰

And then finally, bears! Now Sherlock is an obvious one of course, I bought him at the Sherlock Holmes museum (you have to enter the gift shop to get your tickets and I saw him already and I was like ‘ohhhhh no there goes my money once I’m done looking through the museum XDDDD). In my defense, how could I have left him there while he was looking at me with those pleading eyes? 🥺 (I swear at this point I have more empathy for stuffies and fictional characters than for people 💀) and then the ‘floppy’ bear is Michael. I have owned him since early childhood (might have even had him as a baby?) and he is the most recent addition, this was also a blorbo that definitely needs hugs and I had never given this bear a name before so I thought his somewhat worn look fit perfectly! 😊 right picture is complete bear fam with Peter too.

I have realized that my awkwardness allergy comment the other day may have come off the wrong way, so in an attempt to remedy that I'm gonna list everything that was SO GOOD about the last chapter.

Niffty getting a "disguise". What little description you gave I imagine her twirling in an Alice-style pinafore. Now I wanna draw American McGee Niffty, blue dress and bloody knife. Also the Cherub being so accepting and nice to her? Great.

Emily. Just everything about Emily, I love her. Especially with Lucifer. I adore her being super chill about him fucking up her name and I need more of that in this fandom. EMILY & LUCIFER BONDING!!! And her genuinely calling him beautiful and him not getting it? Ow my fucking heart. Even more when Alastor seems to notice Lucifer doesn't get it and I just imagine him being struck by a hint of jealousy at the compliment, and then immense frustration that Lulu is so clearly oblivious to how lovely he is. Delicious.

Alastor having boosted Lulu's confidence in his wings? Alastor KEEPING THE FEATHER? T^T Also I lose my shit every time you bring something back from previous chapters. Not enough people do that shit in their writing and it is wonderful.

Alastor being absolutely haunted by Angel's little comment lol. All while knowing that Lucifer, while likely aware of the implication, was not at all thinking about it when he did it. This being of Pure Temptation having the most innocent thoughts behind a perceived lewd act is amazing and adorable and I fucking love it.

Them bickering over ice cream because Alastor is a little shit I love how dumb they are.

Angel's FUCKING ACRONYM lmao because he would.

Alastor being comfortable enough overall with Lucifer to be willing to pretend to make out with him in public despite wanting to crawl out of his skin at the concept? iofhihisifoishuoisdh

How goddamn smooth Lucifer is when putting on a performance of seduction. He is THE Original Temptation and I love it. And him still being mindful of Alastor's comfort and not actually kissing him? AAAAAAAAA 1000% better than if he'd actually kissed him this gives me life. Beauty incarnate in words.

Lucifer finding Alastor's anxious-unxperienced-yet-smooth flirtation incredibly hot and then being startled by the thought despite, y'know, everything else that's happened. XD Can't blame him since the number of relationships he's had can be counted on one hand if not one finger, but he's so internally oblivious I cannot.

"Have you been doing this with other people?" Alastor actually being somehow surprised that this millennia-old, gorgeous, adorable eldritch being, known for THE first temptation into sin, fucks? Despite the blatant evidence in Charlie's existence? And being upset about it? And additionally feeling like he needs to know about Lucifer's sexual history for...reasons? Possessive much? XDDDD

And then being stunned silent at the suggestion and likely realization that he is, in fact, jealous, and probably still not knowing why? And Lucifer's oblivious teasing and then absolute confusion and awkwardness when Alastor DOESN'T DENY IT UGH had me kicking and screaming like a teenage girl.

And again, I'm hyper-sensitive to awkward so me being uncomfy isn't unexpected when Lucifer is by nature an awkward little bean. It can be a sign he's being written well! And your writing is so good that I keep coming back and I'm hoping I'm building up a tolerance. That would be good for me. ^^; I look forward to every Friday for this!

@moonbaby26 haha I think we are more or less of the same age (👵) (and the cosplay idea is great, I basically live with a younger version of Garp, so if we ever find out about Luffy's grandma we'll have a green light for a grupal cosplay 🤣🤣🤣)

I didn’t remember that Tsuru and Doffy’s dialogue was cut in the anime (maybe I never watched it, I dropped the anime somewhere before Jaya because I basically hated how it adapted the manga ----I’m a hater, sorry 🥲----). But in my mind I even have a voice for Tsuru’s lines in both Spanish and English (I don’t have such a consistent voice for Doffy, though). Not sure if their relationship was always a thing, but the way Oda has linked the two of them is really nice (and gives Doffy more layers of complexity). The moment she appears at the end of Dressrosa was a pretty satisfying ending (especially after a saga that was painful to follow weekly, and doubly painful because my fave character was finally in the spotlight but I wasn’t enjoying it much ---everything was fixed after a full reread, thanks to GODA---).

The new thing for me comes from the Marine!AU. Suddenly, I’m super invested in that AU, thinking about how they would totally have a real mother-son relationship—Doffy being Doffy, and she being the only person who can handle him. I liked her before, but more because she let us see a different side of Doffy. And now she's starting to enter my hyperfixation circle of characters 😅🤣

TOTALLY. Doffy’s still important to the story, and Tsuru is obviously going to be on the rebel side of the Marines, so their interaction is a big possibility. Still, I don’t think Doffy’s key role in the rest of the story has anything to do with her (and now I should talk about my ‘D’ hyper-delulu theory xdddd), but I would literally pay to see their interaction in the final showdown.

Blue is ever so slightly juuuuuuust a little bit plant obsessed. And by that I mean his house is a jungle and he made a community garden and handles a lot of the upkeep for it. He's actually really good at taking care of them, he has a very green thumb and he lovingly cares for all his plants. His favourites are the herbs, and he loves drying herbs and using them in recipes. He also studies medicinal plants and makes little remedies for his friends when they've got insomnia or anxiety or an upset stomach. I'm totally not projecting here bc I'm totally not fascinated by an herbs class I'm taking rn XDDD (I am kind of projecting with the green thumb though bc a lot of my plants are dying DX)

Dream loves to go swimming. He loves going to the beach, but lakes are also very nice, just anywhere that he can just sit on a floatie and just look at the sky and float along. Lazy rivers at water parks are his absolute favourite, and he does sometimes fall asleep on them. He can sometimes convince Blue to go along with him and they just chat and watch the clouds go by.

Ink (the real reason you requested the star Sanses huh Saph XDDDD I know what you're up to) is a bit of an adrenaline junkie. He does like to do activities like rollercoasters or sky diving, because if he forgets what he's doing, it doesn't put him in danger, because he's not in control of what he's doing. Plus, when he goes skydiving, he can surf through the clouds on Broomy. And that just looks hecka cool.

Now for some x reader hcs~

Blue isn't usually much one for cuddling but whenever you're doing anything and you have a hand free he can and will grab it every single time, interlacing your fingers and rubbing his thumb (phalange??? I don't think the thumb is a phalange but idek lol) on the back of your hand.

Dream is like. Super physically affectionate but he will almost never initiate. I'm talking like if you grab his hand and hold it for a minute the next thing you know you are in his lap and you are now a teddy bear. Your hair is being played with and you are being snuggled into oblivion. Also bc I am highkey projecting he will absolutely melt at the small touches. Like if you're hugging and you rub his back a bit or if you hold his face and like caress his cheek with your thumb you will have a pile of goo in front of you and depending on his emotional state he may very well burst into tears.

Ink calls you his muse. Unironically and all the time. Bc you literally are, look at what he doodles in the dirt while Dream explains the battle plan and you'll see your own face staring back at you. Even his abstract pieces have the curl of your eyelashes or the smoothness of your lips or the dimple in your cheek when you laugh.

Also because I was rereading some of my old oneshots I was reminded, @saphirathedragon, that this man is a complete and utter simp. Having trouble falling asleep? He will make you hot chocolate or talk with you until you fall asleep or just sit there and draw and keep you company to drive away the bad dreams. Feeling a bit hungry? No worries, he has a list of your favourite foods on his scarf! Having a bad day? He will just like. Beat somebody up if he has to, or just generally ruin their day, depending on the amount of anger and vengeance you're feeling, but he'll also just tell you jokes he's written down, and even though you've heard them all before, he tells them like they're new, so you laugh every time. This man is a SIMP and we love him for it <3.

And now bc I just remembered u mentioned him OUTER!!!!

Roller skating. First thing my brain shouted at me... For some reason XDD but part of me thinks he would love those little light shows they put on sometimes where they make the room kinda dark and shine spotlights around and play music kind of thing? Those just scream Outer to me lol especially bc you don't have to do a lot to roller skate, just kinda push off every once in a while and glide, maybe do tricks if he feels like it, but otherwise he can just sit back (and maybe cheat a bit with gravity magic shhhh) and admire the way the disco ball reminds him of stars.

Outer is a little gentleman. The type to pull out your chair for you (whether it's him or his gravity magic is a toss up lol) or give you his jacket when it's cold (the cold just goes right through him eyyyyyy) or hold your heavy backpack. Also I just hc that he is a great communicator, unlike SOME of the other Sanses idk what about him screams that to me but he is always just down to sit down and have a talk about your needs or how you're feeling. Maybe he needs a bit of prompting to talk about himself but if you just nudge him a bit he will open right up to you.

To be honest I think it’s no real secret that Gerry wasn’t a fan of @tos-johntracy so I think the script was designed specifically to portray him as a bit of a moron XDDDDDDDD

Don’t get me wrong, I loveeee TOS Jeff (I don’t subscribe to any of the fandom headcanons about him being abusive blah blah) but he was a bit mean in that episode. I don’t think TAG Jeff would be hyper-critical (especially not when Scott/John are essentially on their first day on the job) or play favourites like that.

And in John’s defence, how many rescues does TOS Jeff go on either XDDD }}

➳ Jonathan Joestar as a child

Cinnamon roll too pure for this world behind a bit of a naughty exterior.

Not too naughty, just a bit hyper-active. It’s not like you can blame him for it, he was a child in the Victorian Era, there wasn’t much to doapart from playing outside if you were a little kid.

He was pretty good at sports, his favorite was football. He used to play as a centre forward, and was quite good at it.

He used to sleep with Danny at the foot of the bed. When there was a storm outside, he would let him crawl into his bed and they would hug until Jonathan fell asleep.

Some years after he learned to read, he started to have an interest in books and became a bit of a bookworm. He never stopped playing sports, but books took most of his free time.

Even after becoming a bookworm, he still loved to play with Danny. They would spend some afternoons playing catch or just running around the fields.

➳ Joseph Joestar as a child

He was pretty similar to Jonathan when he was a child, a pure cinnamon roll… but much naughtier than his grandfather.

He wasn’t a bad child, just a really active kid.

He LOVED sports. Seriously, that kid spent 90% of his childhood playing sports or just running around. He didn’t have a favorite sport, but was quite decent at rugby.

He was really attached to Erina, and was a bit spoiled during the first years of his life due to her being quite sad for surviving her son and her daughter in law leave, so she became a bit over-protective for a bit. After some time she returned to her usual self, so Joseph spent a little percentage of his childhood being a bit spoiled by her.

He was never really into books or studying, even if Erina and Speedwagon tried to instill in him a love for his studies.

He really believed in the possibility of having monsters under his bed until he was ten years old. He would often ask Erina or Speedwagon to look under his bed.

He loved ilusionism and magic tricks, and those were his main hobbies when he was a kid besides sports.

➳  Caesar Zeppeli as a child

Quite calm in appearance, but a really sweet child once you got to know him.

Very attached to his family, especially to his father. He would spend the day around him, and wanted to be a carpenter like him.

He wasn’t particularly into sports when he was little, he preferred playground games, like marbles, hopscotch or tag.

Since he was very fast, he was quite good at tag. Although he was really bad at hide-and-seek. He was pretty tall and hiding was a bit difficult for him compared to the other children.

His father taught him to carve wood when he was a bit older, and was quite good at it. Sadly, he left that hobby behind after his father left, mainly because he didn’t have time for that anymore, but also because it reminded him of his father.

➳ Josuke HIgashikata as a child

I don’t like to repeat this every time I talk about the children of the Joestars, but I have to. He’s was a cinnamon roll. A Jonathan level cinnamon roll.

Really playful, but being a child in the 90s, he didn’t spend as much time in the street as his Jonathan or Joseph. He still spent a lot of time there though.

He started to wear a pompadour almost immediately after getting out of the hospital. At the beginning he was too young to even brush his hair in a normal way, let alone a pompadour, so his mother did it for him until he was almost 9.

He didn’t get his stand after his fever disappeared, it actually took him another year to discover that he had it. At the start, he thought it was an imaginary friend, and presented it to his friends, but as time passed, he started to realize that maybe his imaginary friend wasn’t as imaginary as he thought. He never stopped to present it to people until he was quite old (around 12 years), and that gave him a bit of a bad reputation.

He tended to unconsciously heal other people’s wounds, but almost anybody noticed that he did, since they were just little scratches. The only time he used his powers in something more noticeable was when he accidentally broke a vase. He also fixed it unconsciously, not even knowing what Crazy Diamond’s power was at that time.

He loved video games, and would spend long afternoons playing with friends or alone. He only had Virtua Racing for almost 1 year, so he became quite good at it. He was nearly unbeatable for most of his friends.

Caesar’s headcanons were a bit shorter than the rest of them since I didn’t have a lot of ideas for him >.On the other hand, I had too many headcanons for Josuke, seriously xDDDD

Killua had a bad feeling about this game before his so called ‘friends’ even explained the rules. And then, after they did explain the rules, he immediately wished he had left the party within the first ten minutes like he’d originally planned.

But then Killua looked up to meet brown-gold that glittered brightly with curiosity and interest, and he knew he had to stay.

Killua hadn’t spent time with Gon in a very, very long time, despite the undeniable fact that they were each other’s best friends. That was the problem with college- the second one class assigned work, the rest followed suit until Killua found himself awake at three in the morning trying not to pull his hair out in frustration. This was actually the first time he’d been able to see Gon in nearly two weeks.

So. He had to stay. For Gon.

But that moment of weakness turned out to be the biggest mistake of Killua’s entire life. Because with Killua’s shitty luck, it was only natural that the stupid coke bottle would land on him, then Gon.

Of freakin’ course.

“Ooooooo, Seven Minutes in Heaven for Gon and Killua!” Palm cooed and Killua grounded his teeth together hard enough for his jaw to ache. “Get going, you two!”

Gon’s brow was furrowed in confusion. “I don’t get it. What’s-”

“Shut up!” Killua forcefully pulled Gon off the floor and away from their circle of friends that whistled and clapped at their retreating backs. He was going to murder these people before the night was over for doing this to him. With Gon of all people. Damnit!

“But, Killua! I’ve never heard of Seven Minutes in Heaven before, I don’t know what we have to-”

“I said,” Killua hissed as he yanked Palm’s closet door open. “Shut up! Just- get  in the closet!”

Gon took one look at Killua’s face and visibly paled. He ducked into the closet without another word and Killua followed, slamming the door shut behind them.

It wasn’t a big closet which, admittedly, was the whole point of this insane game. Killua barely had enough room for his shoulders to fit and couldn’t see a single thing in the dark. But he could definitely hear the sound of Gon’s breathing less than a feet away from him and Killua knew without a doubt that if he tried to move his arm, they would touch.

Killua was not going to do that though, because he would sooner die or melt into a puddle than try to make a move on his best friend who just also happened to be his crush for the past three years. He almost wished he could melt into a puddle because then maybe he could slide out under the door crack and bolt-

“Killua?” Gon’s voice was very quiet but it filled the entire space.

“What.”

“Um. What are we supposed to do in here?”

Warmth exploded across Killua’s cheeks. He didn’t need to see his face to know it had to be growing redder than a stop sign.

“N-Nothing,” he said and immediately cursed himself for stuttering.

“It didn’t sound like nothing, though.”

“Well, you heard wrong, then.”

“Killua.”

Gon was pouting, he knew. And Killua could never resist Gon’s ridiculous pout even in the pitch black of a closet.

“Its….” God, what Killua would give to not be explaining this right now. “Its a game in which two people have to stay in a closet for seven minutes.”

“Like we are now.”

“Yeah.”

“But, what else? There has to be something else.”

Killua’s hands curled into claws. “I can’t believe you don’t know this. Remind me when we get out of here to sit your ass down and explain every single party game to ever exist-”

“Killua, you’re stalling!” Gon whined. There was a shuffling sound and Killua was suddenly hyper-aware of the fact that Gon had just moved even closer than they already were. “Just tell me what it is!”

His heartbeat was very loud and heavy in his chest. He could feel every thud all the way down to his toes. Somewhere in the mess of his spinning thoughts, Killua distantly wondered if Gon could hear it, too.

“Killua…”

Killua jerked at the hot hand that brushed against his. How Gon knew where his hand was, he didn’t know. He didn’t get why Gon was lacing their fingers together, either, but his mind too jumbled at the moment to protest.

He took a shuddering breath to calm his racing heart. 

It didn’t help.

“While you’re in the closet, y-you’re supposed to. Um.”

Gon’s whisper washed over Killua’s burning skin. “You’re supposed to- what?” 

Killua shrunk back into the closet’s wall. Gon was way too close. He was cornering Killua, leaving no room to escape. 

Killua wasn’t sure if he could escape even if he wanted to, at this point; Gon was all around him, his scent his voice his body. Killua’s senses were being overwhelmed with Gon. He was drowning in it.

“I, I don’t-” Killua said weakly as his knees started to buckle.

“Killua,” Gon said again, voice shaking slightly with something that sounded suspiciously like suppressed laughter. His free hand slid around Killua’s waist, helping him to stand but also pressing their bodies together, and Killua just barely held back a shiver at the possessive touch. “Are you sure you know what this game is about?”

Killua squeezed his eyes shut. If he wasn’t so dizzy right now, he would’ve shrieked in frustration.

How do you feel about Sora joining Lezard?~

… xDDDD

No actually… like.. actually….. this was on my mind since forever. @nuigurumi-daisuki​ and I were talking about Sora joining for months arealdy xD

Just yesterday we had this conversation..

When I saw the new group pic today I stared at it and for a second I really thought this is a joke. Because this CAN’T BE!! And then I saw the text of Sora joining and was like.. “omg this is real.”

Because yes, we were talking about Sora joining and we were talking so much about it that it was actually already kind of “real” xDD but when I really saw that he really joined.. I had to hold back sooo hard to not start laughing because I was at work. xD

Anyway, I’m so happy at least one of the ALIVE members is back! I’m not a huge fan of LEZARD but I also don’t dislike them. I do have a few of their songs and I event went to two instores xD (because of reasons ûu”) But they were always a bit TOO hyper for me. And also… I didn’t like Lime’s voice that much. So I never really got into it. I don’t want to sound mean or anything because it’s always always sad when a member leaves but when lime announced his departure I thought that maybe when they get a new vocal I’ll give them another chance? Lime’s voice just wasn’t for me! And with a bandman joining I actually like… Sora wasn’t my favorite ALIVE member but he WAS an ALIVE member and I loved and miss ALIVE >___I also thought of Sora as the rather quiet type of person and I’m not sure if that is what a LEZARD vocal should be xD But for now I’m happy he’s back and I’m also fine with him being in LEZARD so far ^^ we’ll see what the future brings! I’m excited ^_^
