         before her father's disappearance, the danvers had always been big on halloween: nerdy costumes that eliza sewed from scratch, intricate decorations that alex would help her dad put together and put up all over their lawn. things had changed so much since then, but she still had a soft spot for the holiday, an excitement she wanted to pass on to her niece. “yes. yes, it does!”  keys dangled from her hand as she jingled them slightly ---she was ready to head out if laurel was. “do you wanna do matching costumes? because i have a few ideas.”

frank lets out a long sigh. he doesn’t want her to go. he’s just finished writing a book so he’s left with nothing to do until he gets notes back from his editor. “ do you have to ?” he cups her cheek, running his thumb over her cheek bone. “ i know you have to. ” frank kisses her again ( he really doesn’t want to stop. ) “ please be safe. ”

          “of course I had you at let’s go eat..you’re basically controlled by food.” erin let out a snort of laughter at the super as the duo headed into the direction of the dining room. she really did have everything planned for kara, she’d do anything to make her smile. as they entered the room, she smiled at kara’s response to the wine, she knew she had gotten the right wine though, they both enjoyed that bottle. “honestly, there’s so much on the menu…sit there I’ll be back in a minute.” moving to the kitchen, erin soon returned with four plates of food and placed them on the table “still more hold on.” walking back to the kitchen, eringrabbed another four plates and placed them down onto the table as well before moving to sit down “okay so honestly, I’ve got everything. from potstickers, to chicken, rice, beef..honestly, everything and anything that we like..but you haven’t had a true erin lindsay taste until tonight.”

       kara smiled excitedly as erin came out with plates of food, watching with wide eyes as they were all placed on the table in front of her. she licked her lips and wiggled her fingers, doing her best not to go straight for the food before her girlfriend sat down. soon as erin placed herself in her chair, kara went straight for the potstickers, her mouth watering at the sight.  ❝ the TRUE erin lindsay taste ? oh i’m excited. ❞  kara let out a moan of appriciation as she took a bite of one of her potstickers, thanking the gods that erin knew her so well. before she could forget, kara pulled out the cork to the wine and poured herself a glass, holding the bottle out to erin with a raise of her eyebrow.  ❝ do you want a glass ? wait, can you even have this ? is it safe for humans ? i didn’t even think to check. ❞ kara flipped the bottle over in her hands, looking at the label.  ❝ if worse comes to worse i have the wine you really like in the fridge so if you really want a glass i can get you that. i mean i don’t think you’ll be effected by this but if you don’t wanna chance it, i can get you the one you like. ❞
