I want to watch the herbie movies! Do you recommend going in chronological order or are there certain movies you recommend over others?

Oh gosh sorry for the late reply! Tbh you can watch the movies in any order. I watched 1, 5, and 6. Now watching 2, 3 and 4.

From what I can tell, (except for Herbie: Fully Loaded), all of the movies are quite....goofy and cheesy in that 70's like way. They aren't very serious and often feel a little boring. I have to stand by my word that Herbie: Fully Loaded is the best film, the conflict is very fleshed out and Herbie is the cutest he's ever been.

The Love Bug movie of 1968 was the first appearance of Herbie, a sentient VW Beetle character that can drive itself and successfully race against far more powerful cars. Thus far there have been 6 movies featuring Herbie, most recently Herbie: Fully Loaded in 2005
