idk if I’ve posted about this before but I seriously headcanon that Ghost has a twelve-step skincare regimen

it includes moisturizer, witch hazel, scar gel, burn cream, etc and he sticks to it religiously when he can

it’s not that he is particularly enthused about self care or even skin care in general, but it keeps his eye black from creasing, his scars from aching, and his face from breaking out with acne under his mask

when the 141 pulls off their Ghost Team balaclavas in Las Almas, he nearly doubles over in laughter at their messed up eye black, fabric creases pressed into their dry skin, and pimples already starting to pop up

after they get back from Chicago, all three of them find a small bag with moisturizer, face cleanser, and acne cream outside of their barracks and none of them even have to ask who it came from

it doesn't happen as a revelation. there's no jolting pain in his chest that sends steve reeling, no internal crisis that has him shaking on the bathroom floor, no shocking sense of guilt or desperation or fire licking in his veins. nothing that makes the world stop spinning and making him trip over his feet.

it's a normal moment when he realizes he's in love with eddie.

they're sitting in steve's car, ac blasting and music on low for once, waiting for a handful of the kids to get done with their final exams. they don't pick them up as much anymore and steve pointedly ignores how much he misses the times of carting them all around before mike started a ripple effect and got his license. but they're taking the kids to the lake after school to try and enjoy the last bits of non-suffocating sunshine before summer really hits, just like old times.

it isn't a revelation in the sense that it's some earth shattering event, but more like a moment of clarity. eddie's hair blows back for a second and he's blabbering about something from the dnd game he played the night before with his shop buddies with a wide grin and animated hands and the sun glints off the puckered pink scar on the side of his face in the most perfect way and he's beautiful and-

steve's vision seems clearer than it has in a while. his lungs feel a bit more shaky but not in a bad way, his heart stumbles against his ribcage like it's tripped over itself and the butterflies in his chest are the only things catching it. he laughs to himself because of course this has to happen when he wasn't expecting it, when he doesn't have a plan, but then eddie's looking at him and he knows he doesn't need one. not yet, anyway.

"you good, man?" eddie asks, eyebrows crinkled together and smirk on his face. he's painted golden in the afternoon sun, shining as bright as the north star. steve's always liked gold.

it's taken steve years to get here. the two of them have grown up together in the way that teenagers do while they figure out the roads laid out before them. they've learned each other's ins and outs through long nights and early mornings and everything in between. he knows his breathing, the way his footsteps sound, the smell of his aftershave, the feeling of his hands on his shoulders. it all comes together in this perfect package wrapped up in a perfect bow and for once, steve lets himself hope like he's a kid on christmas morning.

"yeah," he shakes his head to clear out the eddie-shaped stars in his vision, offers up a smirk of his own. it's taken years to get here so he still has time to do this right. "perfect."

king steve falling for the shy, soft girl that is an introvert and a flustered mess and extremely clumsy and he just thinks she’s cute, okay?

but any effort he makes into becoming close to his dream girl — that is always nice to him, and always lends him a pen in class with a smile, and never judges him or calls him stupid — is brushed off with a cute blush and silence or a shy smile followed by her just walking away with a nervous wave, and he doesn’t get it.

steve knows he can flirt, he also knows she’s into him; she’s so obvious about it, what with her blushing and stuttering and trying to hide her pretty smile and her pretty face. the thing is, what steve doesn’t realize, is that she doesn’t take his interest seriously, i mean… he’s King Steve, right?

she thinks he’s just bored after breaking up and moving on from nancy wheeler, and it’s true, he has moved on, but she won’t believe he moved on because of her. she brushes it off as him just teasing her or joking or being naturally flirty or maybe he just wants to make her fall for him so he knows he still has that effect on girls, doesn’t believe he’d ever truly want her, at least not for anything more than a hook up, and that’s just not her. even though yes, she’s falling for him, but she won’t let herself believe he might feel the same. see, she’s never had romantic validation, no one has ever taken an interest in her or tried to pursue her, and yeah, the fact she’s quiet and closed off and a loner plays a part in it, but she’s also demiromantic/demisexual so she needs an emotional connection before romance or sex even becomes a possibility… and there’s just no one that has the patience for that… right? and if someone does, what if she doesn’t reciprocate?

but she likes steve. she does. so much. she’s just trying her hardest to protect herself so she won’t fall for his charms, but he won’t let her. because steve sees that she likes him back, so he’s all in. steve just thinks she’s so cute, so overwhelmingly kind, so sweet and soft and smiley, always giggling and petting stray animals and she always has flowers with her somewhere (from both her job at the flower shop and the copious amounts of flora in her home), on her hair or behind her ear or just carrying them around; they make her feel happy and safe and calm. ease her anxiety. steve loves her flower printed dresses that look so good on her, and her flowy skirts that show off her pretty legs and soft thighs he’s dying to grab at, and her cute sweaters he just knows are soft to the touch just like her, and her pretty mary jane shoes or converse that always match her outfits in color, coupled with her dainty rings and a cute daisy necklace she wears everyday that steve wants to add an ‘s’ pendant to desperately.

but she dodged his advances. every time. giggles as if he’s joking, walks away when she gets too flustered with a soft “gotta go, have a nice day, stevie”, like she doesn’t know his heart is about to burst out of his chest and that she’s the only one allowed to call him stevie at all. like she doesn’t see all the girls that are interested in steve look at her with jealousy because steve only looks at her. she’ll blush and hide her cheeks and roll her eyes playfully and steve just doesn’t know how to make her believe him! how to prove to her he’s serious, that he wants something serious. with her, and her only.

so steve keeps flirting, keeps asking her out, keeps being sweet and affectionate and caring and tender, keeps making her adorably flustered, keeps smirking and winking at her, keeps showing her his true self whenever he manages to keep her in his presence long enough before she scurries off, keeps ignoring any other girl that’s interested in him, saying he’s not interested and that he already has someone, and trying to make his baby finally give into him… until one day she breaks and just asks him to stop, tells him he won, she fell for it, he can stop now. and his sweet girl tears up, crybaby that she is, tells him he can stop trying to make her fall for him ‘cause she has and he wins, okay?! he can move on to the next girl and make her fall for him too. just to stop messing with her, it’s not fair. and it breaks steve’s heart, it’s painful. so he drops all of his walls and he confesses his love and she’s hesitant at first, not believing her dream guy could possibly want her back, but steve promises that if she gives him a chance he’ll prove to her she’s the only one he wants.

jason todd falling in love with someone from the perspective of the other batfamily members has got to be the funniest thing ever, because he's not going to tell them anything about his personal life so easily, which is going to lead them to greatly misunderstand everything. so while jason’s giggling and kicking his feet while imagining his future wedding with his crush, his family is immediately calling john constantine to exorcise the demon that is clearly possessing him.

You ever think Stan could somehow realize that Fiddleford was messing with his own brain out of experience?

Let me explain

In some AU in which Stan meets Fiddleford a little after the portal incident, I'm sure he was convinced that Fidds was doing some chemical stuff to his brain so he'd forget whatever he was trying to forget. Obviously he couldn't have known about a memory-erasing gun, but my best bet is that he thought Fidds was doing drugs. Not alcohol or weed, since those leave some nasty smell, but rather something like coke, heroin, or meth. I'm sure he's had a load of experience with drug-addicted people, and that's what makes sense in this situation.

HOWEVER, I like to think that he'd be sympathetic at first, since he knows drug use is very often a product of necessity. He tries to get Fidds to help him, but the man is adamant on not turning the portal back on. And Stan thinks "okay, this guy's a little messed up, he's probably had some shit happen to him, but I'll insist, I'll try to change his mind, maybe offer him a helping hand in return". The real problem arises when one day he visits Fidds for his regular "pleasepleaseplease help me with the portal" and Fidds just goes "what portal?"

From this point on, Stan panics. He needs this guy with his mind intact, and he's running out of time. The solution? He kidnaps him to keep him away from the "drugs" until he sobers up and remembers.

thinking about a certain anonymous confession on the utdr confession blog mostly unable to get behind sans aus where chara is “evil” and i get that completely, but also something new is probably the only time i can get behind “evil” chara is because the au leaves enough open for interpretation and nuance that most of the fandom just doesn’t do anything with or explore anything with

Cause like, chara is hardly completely evil—the remake/timeline of the something new comics making the player more obvious was pretty clear that the player was heavily involved and that killer wasn’t the only one effected.

it leaves room to wonder about Chara got where they are in something new—so manipulative, apathetic, desensitized, cruel, controlling and possessive while still acknowledging they are just as child trapped in the same game that killer/sans is no matter how much they might’ve tried to resist or fight back or protect themself or make themselves the biggest nuisance around.

there’s enough interpretation, moments we don’t see, to wonder about the nature of killer and Chara’s relationship. It’s not a stretch to think that once upon a time they were genuinely partners. Not equals, because Chara’s the most Determined and therefore in control, but for the longest time they only had eachother. only the other was real. it’s interesting to explore but many don’t

NYM! *squeals and flails about* This headcanon oh my goodness!!! We've been getting quite a few tickly hands this event, lols! Not that I'm complaining of course- tickly palms deserve all the love! And Todoroki having them while Bakugou calling him cute is just- GAH! *cries* I've gotcha covered!

“Give me your hand, Icy Hot.”

“So romantic.” Todoroki rolled his eyes as he felt Bakugou take the offered limb. “I’m swooning.”

“Careful not to hit your head on the way down.” The explosive blonde grinned, giving their arms a little swing. He was in a good mood this morning. “Actually no- I’ll catch ya.”

A really good mood, it seemed. “My hero.” Todoroki looked away, fighting down a smile. That battle grew more difficult suddenly when Bakugou’s fingers curled against his palm, making him twitch. “Stop.”

“Stop what? I’m just walking here.” Bakugou kept his face forward as they walked, lips twitching as he continued curling his fingers against his boyfriend’s hand. “You’re so ticklish here, aren’t you?”

“Dohohon’t say it ouhuhuhutloud!” Todoroki giggled out, covering his mouth with his free hand. “It’s embaahhahahaharrasing?” “Why? It’s fucking adorable.” Bakugou pulled them aside so they were in a more reclusive spot, gently tugging Todoroki’s arm up until he was holding his wrist, increasing his tickles. “How many people do you know who have ticklish hands?” “Yohoohhohou do!”

“That’s right- OI!” Bakugou growled, going for a spot he knew would get Todoroki cackling. “Don’t change the subject!”

“Gheahhahahahhahaha! Nohoohohoo stahhahahahp!” Todoroki squealed, cheeks bright red as he doubled over. He grasped Bakugou’s wrist, pushing enough so there was an inch of space between their hands. “Wahahhait, wahhaait…tihihime out.”

“Heh, see what I mean? Fucking adorable.” Bakugou laughed, letting Todoroki go so he could have a proper break. “You don’t need to be embarrassed by it. I think it’s stupid cute.”

“Hhehhe..hehehe…yohoohu mean it?” The half and half hero peeked up at him, cheeks reddening more.

“Why would I lie?” Bakugou shrugged, reaching out and tugging his boyfriend into him, arm around his waist. “It’s cute as hell, so don’t be embarrassed, kay?”

“Heh…you’re especially loving today.” Todoroki pointed out, unable to hide his smile. “What’s got you in this good of a mood anyway?”

“What? Can’t a guy love his boyfriend?” Bakugou shrugged as they carried on their walk. Todoroki waited.

Finally, the blonde sighed, giving in. “That one anime might be getting a season two soon.”

“The romance one?”

“.....yes.”

“Knew it.” Todoroki laughed, yelping when Bakugou pinched his side.

thanks for your question! it is SO not weird at all i really enjoy stuff like this. actually i am going to go on a huge ramble that goes on a little tangent so like. LONG POST AHEAD!!!! be warned!!!!!

anyways. azul is always confessing his romantic feelings for jamil whether he knows it or not. in every interaction. because he's so damn obvious. hope this helps LOL

in all seriousness though. i really like to think that azul is kind of cursed to be a hopeless romantic despite it going against all of his pragmatic sense. i mean. he's a child of divorce who hates leaving things up to chance and he believes in getting something back whenever he gives something away. being head over heels with someone goes against his whole nature, so i think it's definitely a new thing for him. he won't recognize that his feelings are romantic right away because he'll be too busy trying to justify to himself why he's investing so much time and energy into a guy that Clearly wants nothing to do with him and won't give him the time of day. its business, guys, i swear.... stonks.....

i think once he does come to terms with it though. it starts leaking through in Every Interaction he has w/jamil. in every encounter, azul basically ends up saying I Love You without actually ever speaking it out loud. whether it's through his actions (like getting jamil gifts / offering to help out without any genuine expectation of repayment) or or his words (like implying things about them being good together / complimenting jamil excessively). things he did before he realized, but they just have so much more Weight to them now that he Knows he likes the other in a very Non-Platonic-Business-Partners way. he doesn't intend for it to have that emotional weight but its fucking impossible for him to hide and he does NOT know what to do with himself.

he keeps pushing forward regardless because some part of him hopes that his feelings will reach jamil but he also does it with the expectation that jamil will push back like he always has and that's completely fine by him because never actually directly admitting that these feelings are romantic means that the rejections also stay platonic and that is. Way easier to bounce back from. because god forbid jamil sees at who he is behind all the walls he's put up to protect his most vulnerable and emotional self and ends up hating the real azul too.

tl;dr: i don't think azul would go out of his way to make a real, honest confession of his feelings. but he's so obvious it actually hurts to watch

ok so. as for jamiazu get-together:

maybe im like super biased b/c im a sucker for narratives that involve jamil learning to shake his passivity and going ahead and Taking what he wants. but i always think that any scenario where jamiazu gets together has to be initiated by jamil somehow. azul can make the first move and several moves after that but jamil has to be the one to make the Final move if that makes sense.

i don't have like. one set get-together scenario but i have a couple that i like to rotate in my head sometimes. most of them involve azul being a failgirl and getting caught off guard because i think it's funny and jamil also thinks it's funny. here are two for your viewing pleasure:

azul makes a pass at jamil that is romantic-coded but could be interpreted as platonic. jamil seizes the opportunity to turn it Explicitly into a romantic thing and fluster azul to no end about it.

azul: there's a new tasting menu at the mostro lounge if you'd like to come with me and try, i'd love to see what your discerning palette makes of it ^__^!

jamil, very casually: yeah sure. why not. i'll go on a date with you

azul, who did NOT expect a yes so his head is about to explode in t-minus 5 seconds: oh, uh. that's .fantastic, actually— wait. ....DATE?!?!?;!?

jamil corners azul and admits romantic feelings first. bonus points if it's a situation where any romantic confession would be incredibly out of the blue. and the way that jamil says it is like dropping a bomb on azul

like in potions lab. azul's concentrating very hard on pouring an exact amount of a substance. jamils watching him and at some point out of nowhere he breaks the silence in between them by going "i think i like you. in the romantic sense". azul's concentration snaps immediately and he fumbles the beaker into the cauldron out of sheer WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING. it explodes in both of their faces. they both have no chance to address what jamil said because crewel is chewing them out for the next 15 minutes about lab safety. during the entire 15 minutes azul looks like he's been hit over the head with several bricks. Repeatedly. jamil's smirking the whole time though he dgaf. takes pleasure in flustering azul

steve basically begging to be her boyfriend. and it's not even like he's begging because she's making him work for it or being playfully mean! she hasn't even said anything! she's just standing there but she's so pretty and he loves her so much and he finally is speaking to her about being her one and only and is using this new angle and attention to let it all out! also because he literally cannot get his mouth to close once he starts, his heart has taken over and he's just pleading and rambling! AND asking to be her boyfriend is too simple for what he wants! she needs to know that he already belongs to her completely, and she is the most wondrous person, and he wants to give her a lifetime of devotion!!!

robin is rubbing off on him in the whole rambling thing, for sure! and he can’t stop once he starts.

i feel like you’d be surprised at first at how much he’s trying to sell it especially because he’s all you ever wanted, but after he stumbles over his own feet while gesturing and trying to put into words just how devoted of a boyfriend he’d be if you just gave him a chance? yeah, you start smiling and all of your worries and self-doubt on whether this, you and him, is something that will last, just disappear and you’re so comforted and reassured by the fact steve is just spilling everything you feel for him but on the angle of saying what he feels for you, y’know what i mean?

and maybe it just gets to a point where steve’s eyes water a bit ‘cause he’s so overwhelmed and you’re looking at him like he’s everything to you, but he can’t stop talking! and maybe you kiss him first to shut him up and to keep your heart from exploding over every sweet thing he’s saying and he freezes a sec but then melts into you and you’re a bit clumsy in your kiss but he loves it. “yeah, you can be my boyfriend” is all you say because you’re afraid you’ll start crying if you say more, but it’s enough for steve to smile oh so brightly and he lets out that sort of startled laugh and does a little jump and he’s so happy he can’t even kiss you because of the big grins on both your faces, but he peppers kisses all over your face and you’re laughing and it’s all very sweet in an overwhelming way but it feels like everything is finally in place
