I have purchased Noita. It is dime to be eaten by Hämis and collect orbs until i know what im doing. First few runs have been great fun!

I do not develop or endorse generative AI, but out of curiosity, how would you feel were your art to be sampled in its training?

I would feel bad :(

I allow people to use my art for non-commercial purposes, as discord emotes, for mods, for general memery, etc... I'm happy to be able to share my work further, even if I'm not there to see how it's being used, and even if the people using it won't know that it's from me. I make some money off my art, but at the end of the day the primary purpose of it is to be seen. I love it when people share my work and interact with it. There's a sense of connection there.

An AI would not be able to see my art, or appreciate it. It would just take the most generic impressions from it, and mix those in with generic impressions from other people's art. The end result would not be my art anymore. It would be so far removed from my vision that it would no longer serve the purpose for which I allow my art to be used even uncredited in the first place. There is no connection anymore.

I'd rather see someone completely copying or tracing my art (which i'm generally fine with, long as it's not being sold) than have it used for ai training.
