It was admirable the way she tried to ensure he had his time with everyone while he was back, but she was his better half. There was no way he wasn't going to do his absolute best making sure he spent as much time as possible with this wonderful woman. "Yeh bhi theek hai," he joked, "Baani, sab koh toh pata hai. Jahan main, wahan tum. Tumhe kya lagta hai? Mujhe nahin waqt bitana tumhare saath?" He needed his time with her terribly if he was going to go back feeling recharged enough to last him until his next trip home. "Of course gurudware jayenge hum." Everyone knew that, that was one thing they did together every time he came home and right before he left. It was their tradition and their was no way he was going to deprive either of them of that. "Main bhi... Lekin iss baar Saanvi di aur apne jeeju ke liye meri taraf se gift lehke jaana okay?" He hated that they hadn't gotten a chance to meet yet, but at least this way they knew that he so wished he could. "Lekin you have fun okay? Aur Mannat ke samne photo kheech ke wapas aana. Waise, agar chaho toh shayad andar bhi jaa sakti ho," he chuckled, "Main Sahej se baat karoon? Uska bhai shayad milwa sake."

So blissfully unaware they both were about how their life was inevitably going to change due to the events waiting to transpire in their future--it was almost laughable if it wasn't gut-wrenchingly awful. But they were unaware, which meant she was smiling at him as she spoke and almost voiced her displeasure at having to share him with everyone else, but how could she ever be upset with him for that? He was so loved--it made sense that everyone wanted his time. "Aise mat bolo, warna main tumhe kisi aur ke saath waqt nahi bitane dungi. Aapni nazron se durr hi nahi hone dene wali," she warned him with a teasing smile because while the words she said were the utmost truth--they both sadly knew she'd never keep him from anyone who was important to him. "Lekin haan shopping toh ek baat hai, lekin phir gurudware jaana hai, ek baar kal aur phir wapas jab tumhe...pata hai na?" She didn't like saying it, but it was a tradition she'd formed. Baani often went to pray, finding a sense of peace there that was unmatched, and since the first time he'd gone away--they'd gone to pray together, and when he'd returned safely--they'd gone that very day to pray and give gratitude. Since then a tradition was born and Baani did her very best to uphold it. "I wish ke tum bhi mere saath aa sakhte Mumbai," she voiced softly, hating how absolutely guilty she was probably making him feel. But while she normally tried to squash her feelings--there were times like these where they just bubbled up and made themselves known.

Gurudwara: a place of worship for the Sikhs . As part of the undergraduate thesis 'Civic-dwara' (a typological and phenomenological design of the Gurudwara as a civic space), this drawing is a pastiche of sorts which is part of the preliminary research, 'Contemporary Investigation of the Sikh Gurudwara'. . The primary goal was to achieve an all-encompassing representation of a Gurudwara in drawing, one that can convey its complexities, contradictions, activities, and phenomenologies in a single frame. . The technique chosen was a combination of Pichwai art and Sikh miniature art in a college of the different buildings and experiences- the langar, the Sangat, the Sarovar, the joda ghar, etc.  . Time spend krna shi lgta h in dono ke saath kaafi sukoon....

Pta nhi ye nye attachments kitna hurt karenge aage... Like hurt to hona hi h alag to honge hi hm teeno kabhi na kabhi wo life time waala warranty to ab out of market hi ho gya h... Life's full of uncertainties!!
