Stories from my Guilty Parade DR

I shift here without a script.

After immersing myself in imagining the feeling of leaning against the wall in the interrogation room Nemo woke up in, I found myself there. I was early; no one else was in the room save for an unconscious Nemo. I was quite ecstatic to figure out what my specialty was - explosives, specifically engineering together bombs and grenades. There were quite a few attached to me via a bandolier. I got bored waiting for the others to arrive, and the main one I wanted to meet was Elias (my comfort character) so I left and made my way outside, finding my workshop. I found my workshop and forgot about Elias for a bit, taking to fiddling around with some grenades (very safe, I know). After an hour or an hour and a half, I was pleasantly surprised when Yakov walked in. We made small talk; as expected, he's as standoffish and paranoid as he is in canon. He stuck around just to watch me - making sure I didn't fuck around the explosives too much, I assume. I continued for about another half hour and then wandered around again, continuing to search for Elias. I couldn't find him, so I left.

This was quite short and I don't recall how I shifted here - I just appeared, inside of a closet. I was pressed against someone else; in the dim light I could figure out it was Nemo. We were hiding from one of the generals; we'd decided to sneak out of training. I heard the general's footsteps getting closer, so I shifted back.

Headcanons about Guilty Parade Characters!

Hans once asked Yakov to prepare a love potion to make Helga fall for him.

Yakov asked for something else in exchange, and Hans had nothing to give that could satisfy the Grey haired soldier.

Helga often tries to escape Ruf, who desesperately searches for her beloved.

While Hans tries to make Helga fall for him and Ruf searches for her, Nemo and Helga often stay up at night and have interesting, mature, conversations together. They both feel understood by the other.

Helga feels appreciated for her mind and not her appearance, which is a relief for her.

Oliver LOVES flowers. Since he sweats a lot, he thinks that putting a flower on his shirt will prevent him from smelling bad. Though he never asked his comrades if it worked.

Yakov once tried an experiment, and his test subject was Nemo. The amnesiac soldier had a bad headache and stomach ache for the rest of the day.

The experiment was a failure, and Yakov gave him some pills. But Nemo refused to eat them because he wasn't sure if it was medicine or something else, and Yakov didn't even bother to make it clear.

Wolfgang often gets lost in the barracks. Strangely, it's Elias who shows him the way.

One day, Doris put the kitchen on fire. Thankfully, Ruf was quick to react. Wagner forbade Doris to enter in the kitchen for five weeks, and gave her additional chores.

Ruf once stole a bottle of whiskey from Wagner's office. She shared it with the others, but not with Oliver.

Yakov is a really fussy person, when it's about cleaning. When he is on cleaning chores, he doesn't stop until the hole barracks shines and smells disinfectant. But he refuses to do it when Oliver asks him and mess up his bed.

Oliver has a good knowledge of every subject, thanks of books. He would love to talk about Flaubert's Mrs Bovary with someone, but unfortunately, no one seems to hold the same passion that he has for litterature. (Wolfgang is not very talkative, plus, he easily forgets what he reads.) But Nemo promised him to read it one day.

Everybody agrees to say that Nemo is the prettiest boy of the squad. Even Yakov, though he added that it was an other reason for him to be a good spy.

Nemo is really really embarrassed about this.

Why do I feel like Nemo and Yakov would totally become best friends??? A real love-hate relationship.

Oliver often sends Nemo to ask some things to Yakov because it seems like Nemo is the one Yakov dislikes the less.

Hans loves music, but he also enjoys dancing, and is pretty good at it!

Wolfgang definitely whishes to publish a romance book about Ruf and Helga after the war. His only advicer is Oliver, who is a great supporter.

Elias has a huge imagination. Even though he is blind, it doesn't prevent him from creating beautiful scenes in his mind.

theyre from an indie visual novel/mystery investigating type game called "guilty parade" yeah, by @/nozorigames (they actually do have a tumblr account here even if it is pretty inactive)

three episodes are out so far and only the first one is free but its a highly entertaining game and i do recommend :O it is based around war and things though so please watch out for that/other triggers
