I had this book when I was a kid, and for like three pages it talked about the funerary practices of Tibet, specifically around the Tower of Silence.

Scarlet pseudogryphons may look cute as cubs, but still they're quite aggressive predators, don't mess with them! But luckely I have one specimen who doesn't mind a human-companion (and you can feed her your enemies)

This doll designed and made by me fully from scratch. It's one of a kind and this design won't be reproduced.

Super sculpey, faux fur, feathers, wire+plastic armature, fabric leather, primer, acrylic paint, varnish. Posable neck has plastic ball-and-socket armature inside and can be posed. Tail and wings are also posable and contain wire armature inside. Legs and lumbar also contain wire armature inside, so you can carefully and slightly move it to find perfect balance if you keep the doll on uneven surface. 

Size: Doll is around 25cm tall (without wings) and 65cm length

I've been posting these guys in duos, but it felt wrong to separate these four. These four have some of my favorite designs of the cast, with Rebreather as a sparkledog (technically a sparklewolf), Quote as a ghost cat, Bauhaus as a good old borzoi and Roman as a bearded vulture/lynx gryphon.

Quote is also one of my oldest OCs to date, and like many of this cast, one who hasn't had much story or lore until now <3

what do you do when you're depressed and suffering from art block? break out the cursed gryphons again, of course! top three: peregrine falcon/rabbit, pelican/cat, kiwi/rabbit

bottom three: little egret/three toed skink, hawk/accidentally sexy hare, turkey vulture/opossum and her joeys

So yesterday I had to put down my rat Edgar. His health was rapidly declining despite being on medication to help, so I made the tough decision to end his life to stop his suffering.

While holding his limp corpse in my hands, I felt many things. Distraught from having to kill him, peace because he was finally comfortable, sadness because he was gone. It sucked. But holding him like that I also noticed. His body, before going through rigor mortis, was very fun to wiggle around. It's like he became some morbid fidget toy in my hands like that. Fucked up, if very funny.
