What about Kokiri?

You know what sad? The Kokiri are never talked about. They were in one game (two if you count that ghost in ww) and they were not used much at all. It's a shame cause I think there is so much potential there. Kokiri are their own race so they most likely have their own culture, and i want to explore that. I want to bring life to the Kokiri Forest by exploring what they do, how they live in the lost woods, what kind of traditions and holidays they have. I want to give each kokiri a unique design and personality. There are 15 Kokiri in total (yes i counted) and it drives me crazy that there are only Saria, Mido, and Fado as a unique design, and even then they only somewhat use Mido and Saria. So what if each of them had their own design and own personality. I've taken the time to design all of them and give all of them personality and little quirks. I've even taken the time to take Mido, Fado, and Saria and expand them. Another thing i want to explore is what it was like for Link growing up there. How did anyone else other than Mido and Saria interact with Link. What kind of quirks did Link get from growing up believing he is a Kokiri? What kinds of things does link do in the outside world that stem from living in a magical forest that most can't enter without being completely lost, surrounded by ageless forest children and talking trees? These are all things i've thought about and even more that I want to expand on. I'm so excited to expand on these thoughts as well. I'm so excited to share this project called Growing Up Kokiri.

This is old art, but it's the first Kokiri I made a personality and design for. Meet Alser the acrobat of the Kokiri. She can usually be seen jumping across trees and swinging from vines. The only Kokiri to see the top of the trees. Not super helpful to outsiders. She's on the friendlier side to Link and taught him how to jump from high up things

In-game: on top of the shop, teaches Link about targeting far away. Favorite season: Fall Instrument: wooden spoons Likes: being in places most can't get to, racing against her fairy through the trees, acrobatics, watching the fog, comedy stories. Dislikes: waking up before sunrise, getting stuck, spider webs, caves.
