I didn't realise raxheim was you, that's so fun
Anyway, bingo ask game for fit to house a love <3
aaaa yeah! :D that's me!
anyway i wrote fit to house a love because i heard Hozier's Francesca song and (as one does) thought about griddlehark and I was thinking about how like, we (fandom) focus a lot on what if Gideon was physically healed/revived in a very "full restoration" kind of way. And i love that, don't get me wrong!! (i have written fic about that too). Wonderful fantasy.
But I realized I hadn't yet read any kind of exploration of what if Gideon..... can't be brought back? Physically, at least. and I was thinking about how, yknow, people die when they are killed. and some road cannot be unwalked even if you were dragged down them unwillingly. and sometimes you change, or are changed, and there is no going back. sometimes there is no such thing as return, there is only the burnt ground and the ruin and you have to figure out what to do with that but also what the fuck do you do with that. and I was thinking about the complicated experience of desire and wanting to be desired, and I wanted to put Gideon in that situation and give her the fantasy of being loved in all your ashes <3
send me a fic bingo ask

Pancake - Raised Griddle Cakes
This is a very traditional recipe for pancakes made with yeast-raised cornmeal. It dates from the middle of the 1870s and was passed down to our family by my great grandmother.
