why did grem used his dna to create the twins?

Jack and Grizz approached him with the idea of possibly surrogating for them, and he said yes after a while of thinking and self-reflection.

Adding to the first thing, Grem's seen how jack has grown ever since he stopped his pursuit. how he's more mature and reasonable, and happier with grizz. After a lot of thinking, they decided to do this one last thing for Jack. just jack tho he still hates grizz

it uh. wasnt the best decision, considering grems age and general health at the tiime, but whatever

How would Nikolai and Blaise react if they got their own personal Grem orb?

I like to imagine that the "Personal Grem Orbs" are made out of fabric, similar to a plush toy or maybe a pillow and having the size of a tennis ball or pin cushion.

Blaise would have theirs on their work desk at their home in the desert next to their writing tools, computer and type writer, they appreciate the gift and it brings the old cat a smile on their face when they look at it, it was nice from Grem (@pan-fried-autism), to give them this gift they would say and think.

Nikolai meanwhile would of course also really like the gift he got from his partner, I do like to think he sends Grem a photo where he tried to replicate the "Barnacle Boy's Sulfur Vision" and "Pondering the Orb" meme.

Which is in its own way funny, given that Roadkillerz plays in the 2030s and so the memes are probably, outdated at this point :-)

what does grem's kids think of the twins?

They remember how Grem was incubating (as he called it) the twins got Jack and Grizz, where they were worried about him the whole time. When the twins came, though, they thought they were cute. M0u5e is friends with Easton, so he gets to see them more frequently. She thinks they’re adorable.

Aww he would think that's cute, while I don't know what could be an occasion for Grem (@pan-fried-autism) laying on Nikolai's lap, I do like to imagine that at one point they would falls asleep and Nikolai likes to listen to their purrs.

But also, Nikolai notices that his legs also fell asleep and he also does not want to move from the couch, or else he would wake them and he does not want to disturb Grem, for they had a long day.

So Nikolai just waits because neither is he able to reach the TV remote, has a magazine in his reach or his mobile phone with him.

Eventually Nikolai would fall asleep as well.

Would Nikolai really play a Fortnite like game?

In the past, Nikolai did not really play any video games, he wasn't really interested in them.

However, after he joined the Roadkillerz and met Grem (@pan-fried-autism), he was more introduced to these kind of games, and although at first, he did not show much thrill, he got a bit invested in them.

While I don't believe Nikolai is an, absolute fan of a Fortnite like game, he did play it to check it out, and while he does not play frequently, he does maybe from time to time.

So I would say Nikolai is more of a, casual gamer.

Would Nikolai get along with M0u5e and Minnie Harris? (@pan-fried-autism)

I would say absolutely, he cares for the two a lot.

Not much would change in the Grem Harris AU, when it comes to how Nikolai views M0u5e, who he treats like any other living and breathing person, being respectful to him and of course asking him how is day was and how he is doing.

When it comes to Minuette, Nikolai is careful around her because he did worry at first that he might scare her with his appearance, I believe at some point the human held Minnie, because Grem needed to do something for a moment, and of course she started to cry because she didn't knew Nikolai.

So, I believe he tried to calm her, holding and cradling her gently in his arms as well as trying to sing a Russian lullaby which he faintly remembered.

I think, it worked and Minnie did calm down and eventually fell asleep in Nikolai's arms as he held her until Grem returned.

What does Nikolia think of Grem's housemate Mothgo? (@sallychaosaura)

I like to think, that for a while Nikolai was not aware that Mothgo even existed, it's kind of the humorous scenario were it was just, never brought up before and Grem thought Nikolai just knew, and then Nikolai one day discovers Mothgo carrying a few light-bulbs with Nikolai letting out a startled shout.

After that first encounter, with Grem and Mothgo explaining everything to Nikolai, I can see him going along, very well with her, he would be polite and is glad that she is around and values her as a great friend.

The only time I can see Nikolai being a bit grumpy, is when he needs a light-bulb, and they are all gone and he has to go/drive to a shop to buy more. However he is not mad or angry at Mothgo, but rather that he has to get to the store.

What does Nikolai feel about that at point, Grem claimed that nobody wants anything to do with her. Because of what she turned herself into?

He would calmly tell Grem (@pan-fried-autism OC) that this is not true, that there are people who care about her, and even if she has scars and injuries from her experiments, he believes that she is still the very same Grementine Mewton she was before, curious and going against the mainstream, which Nikolai thinks, is completely fine.

Nikolai would comfort her and say that there are many people who care about her, M0u5se, Mothgo (@sallychaosaura OC), Devin (@pinky-the-polar-bear OC), Dudley (@zombiedeers OC) to name a few that Nikolai would list, with the last person he lists being himself, because he cares about Grem too, he would say.

And, I think while trying to comfort Grem, Nikolai would tell her, in an encouraging way, that if she wants her scars and injuries to be gone, that he is confident, that there are ways to help her with that, or at least make them less visible, and he is going to support her if she wants to take that step.

How would Nikolai react if he heard that Jack harris and Grizzly are dating?

Honestly I think at first he would be in shock and surprise, then denial, and finally accepting it that it's true what he is seeing.

There are questions in his head, especially just, how did Grizzly and Jack meet, and fall in love?

But, Nikolai does not judge, as long as they are happy with each other.

After all, Jack having found a new person he loves, means that he has finally moved on from Grem, right? Nikolai would ask.

The human just hopes that Jude is alright.

How well does Nikolai do in Pokémon?

I think Nikolai would be mediocre, he certainly would need some time to get used to Pokémon, and would, need for some gym-leaders to retry, sometimes even more than once.

Especially with the Elite Four he would have his difficulties, and would need several retries until he finally manages to defeat them and the champion.

He did ask, for some parts, Grem for advice, or asked them to help him, Nikolai named at least one Pokémon after Grem (@pan-fried-autism)

Nikolai was so happy when he finally finished the game, but still likes to play with his safe file, because he still needs to complete the Pokédex.

What would Nikolai do if he saw Grem sitting still on the couch holding catnip?

Honestly I think Nikolai would at first, mistaken cat nip, for marijuana but would say, he doesn't judge Grem, only asking if it's for, medical purpose or....you know...just because...

Grem would of course realize that Nikolai believe they are taking weed, and would clear up their partner that they took catnip and not weed, once the effects wear off.

They would also tell Nikolai that they, very rarely use it, Nikolai wasn't really bothered, but more, concerned and worried and is relieved that Grem is doing alright.

Honestly, very likely use his powers of ice and snow, which the scientist turned necromancer and Lich also possesses, to turn him into a cube of ice or into an ice statue.

Nikolai even asked Grem if he should do that, but they declined, saying that even if it doesn't sound bad, they have other plans for Jack.
